How to Make a Roblox Game With AI (Claude Tutorial + FREE Game Files
“that like you need to your daily life, not only on on other stuff, right?”
FULL TRANSCRIPT
So, you want to make an actual Roblox
game fully coded by AI that can actually
make Robux, but you don't know where to
start and every video you watched has
been hella confusing or just straight up
fake. So, in this video I'm going to
show you how to exactly do it, how to
pick a game people already want to play,
how to go from plan to a real game, and
all the skills and tools I use, plus how
to set up every single one. I'm also
giving away my entire game that I built
with AI, plus every plugin and tool I
used, so you can use it to research and
learn from it. I'll show you how I made
models, animations. At the end, I've got
an interview with a guy who's actually
had success making Roblox games with AI,
and he shows you his real numbers, what
he spent, what he made, and if the ads
actually paid off. So, stick around for
that one.
And real quick, who am I? I'm a software
developer and intern, so I actually know
what I'm talking about. I've been doing
these commissions and contributions
since way before the whole AI takeover,
so I'm just not
a random dude who just found the AI
yesterday, you know, and preaching it
right now.
Anyways,
everything is free in my Discord. I'm
going to leave the link in the bio, so
you can get all your tools and stuff
that I and the entire game that I made.
Um
It's the first link in the description.
Just go get it and enjoy, you know. Um
Real quick, before we get in, shout out
felt.lol. That's my site. It's a free
portfolio page or profile page that you
can actually build yourself with your
own screenshot hosting. This one's mine.
It's looking clean. Link in the
description as well. So, use it, please.
I appreciate it. I have a lot of
giveaways in felt Discord.
Okay, so let's get into it. So, why do
most AI games flop? They all look the
same, gray blocks, default buttons, a
base plate, and nobody wants to play it.
So, nobody's spending Robux on it,
either. And that's because the AI just
got told to make a game, not which game,
not why would anyone play it, and not
what it should look like. They're
basically just saying, "Claude, make a
fully functional game that's going to
make me a million dollars. Make no
mistakes." That's what we're going to
fix in this video, you know.
Step one isn't even Claude. It's picking
the game, and I'm not going to lie, this
is the part that decides if your game is
even going to make money when you
actually make it. What I do is find a
game that's blowing up on Steam right
now, check that nobody's made it on
Roblox yet, and remake the mechanics
fast. The demand is already there, kids
are watching the streamers play it. They
go search for it on Roblox and there is
nothing. So, whoever drops it first gets
all those players. That's free players
just sitting there waiting. I call this
the Steam method. And the pure example
is that game called Left Left Left. You
can Google it. I'm pretty sure I'm not
going to show you clips here right now.
Just go on TikTok, type in Left Left
Left. You're going to see the Roblox
remake of a Steam game that's not even
been released yet, you know? So,
this isn't me just making stuff up. Um
look at this. Like Dressmaker came out
on Steam in September 21st, right?
People loved it. Five days later
somebody dropped Make It Dresses on
Roblox. It literally says inspired by
Dressmaker, and it's already at over 4
million visits. That thing is
straight-up printing money, man. That's
literally the method. So, to find these
um I look at SteamDB's trending charts,
Steam's top sellers, and the free demos
during Steam's Next Fest. Then I search
the name of on Roblox and see how many
people are playing the copies.
You can do that by a simple Google
search, or you can just simply ask
Claude to do that research for you. You
don't need to do it yourself, man. You
have Claude there with you. And I've got
seven rules a game has to pass before
Claude touches anything. One, it's new,
so it came out to Steam in the last 3
weeks. Two, people actually want it,
like it's a top seller or has 20,000
Three, the Roblox spot is open, so no
copy with more than about 2,000 players
is made. Four, you get what the game is
from a 12-second clip or a sound of it,
you know? Five, it works with a bunch of
players in one server. Six, Claude has a
beginner
Claude plus a beginner can build it in 5
days. And seven, it's safe for kids
because that's what it's supposed to be,
safe for
kids, bro. Okay. I had Claude check live
stream and Roblox data against those
rules and zero games passed all seven.
Kind of cooked not going to lie. The one
perfect one that Mont already had
already Roblox version. So I looked at
the list myself and picked Graveyard
Keeper 2. When I picked it 22,000 people
were playing it on Steam. It was 2 weeks
old and there was zero Roblox versions
and it's October so Halloween traffic on
top of that. Easy dub. So we're clear
just so we're clear I only copy the
mechanics my own name or own art kid
save never their name and never their
assets because that would be illegal
people and you're just going to get
copyright striked and shut down.
Now this is a part most people skip.
Claude's first design was a mid generic
ghost tycoon. I said no, go research
every other system in the real game
first. After that design
was completely different and actually
fun. Yeah, I will happily build you the
wrong game super fast. Your job is
actually to say no man. Do not
say yes to everything Claude says. Read
the thing through and get that done.
Okay, so the setup. Don't skip this
part. This what makes everything else
work and save for the art part later
because that's what players actually get
like that's what players get. That's
what gets players to actually spend
sorry. Everything runs through Claude
code not the normal chat on the website.
Claude code runs on your computer so it
can actually do stuff run scripts run
tests open blender and talk to Roblox
Studio. For this tutorial we're using
the Claude desktop app because it's the
easiest way to start. Everything is
buttons. It shows you exactly what
Claude changed. It's got a terminal
built in. Personally I use Claude code
inside VS code more control and I'm just
used to it from just coding in general
coding in my job coding in at school
coding everywhere where I'm at, right?
So
it's basically more control more setup
same Claude under the hood at the end of
the day. So start with desktop and
switch later if you want. I'm on the max
5x plan but everything in this video
works on pro. I actually built the
Runner graveyard game on Pro. So, you
basically just hit limits faster but you
can do anything a person can do on Max.
Fable is not even necessary because
everybody's using Opus over Fable
anyways. So, download Claude desktop and
sign in. They make a new environment,
give it a name. Add a folder for your
game and you're in. I'm not going much
into detail here because I feel like
there's a lot of Claude code tutorials
in general on YouTube. However, if you
want to see that, just let me know. I
could make a video explaining Claude
code by itself, all the plugins, sets,
and etc. that like you need to your
daily life, not only on on other stuff,
right? Um
So,
then there is four tools you install
from one file that's in my Discord. One
command, rocket install, and done. Rojo
puts your code files into Studio. Selene
