Best Angle Grinder on Amazon? Metabo HPT G13SE3 / G12SE3 Angle Grinder Review
完整文本记录
What's up guys?
Welcome back to tool review Tuesday!
Check out these Matabo HPT Angle grinders,
I've got two different models to show you today.
I haven't seen any other reviews
over these particular models on YouTube,
so let's take our first look at these.
I got the G12 SE 3 and the G13 SE3
the only difference here is the size of the guard.
Other than that
they're exactly the same.
The 13 comes with a 5 inch guard
and the 12 comes with a four and a half inch guard.
After four years of use
I absolutely recommend these
but let's take a closer look
and I'll show you exactly why.
The first thing I like about this grinder
is the locking paddle switch
is super easy to lock and unlock.
A very nice feature to have
and it's a lot
easier than some other grinders I've used
where it's basically a two hand operation to lock
the trigger.
Another nice feature is this arbor nut
I'm sure you've all fought with these before
getting stuck
but I can tell you after 4 years of use
I've never had a problem with these getting stuck.
I think it's due to
how much thicker they are than other
arbor nuts you typically see on other grinders.
This little lever here is another nice feature
this is so you can adjust
the position of the guard quickly without any tools
this should be a standard feature
on all grinders like this
but I still see some that you need a screwdriver
around wrench to adjust the guard.
These come standard with a 13 foot cord
which I really appreciate.
Probably the thing I like most about this Matabo
is the smaller size of the body of the grinder,
super easy to grab one handed after
you lock the trigger.
Here I'm just showing
you just how easy it is to use one handed
you can get a good grip on it
and not worry about it slipping out of your hand
when you're done
the paddle switch is easy to turn off.
Alright guys
hopefully this has been helpful.
I just wanted to show you a
few things I like about these particular grinders
I've used a lot of different grinders
in the 4 and a half to 5 inch range
like the Dewalts,
the Milwaukees, the Bosch,
the German made metabos
and several other brands
but hands down,
I prefer these over any of those
they're just much more user friendly
in my opinion.
If you use these particular grinders
let us know over in the comments
what your experience has been
positive or negative
it'll help other people
decide whether or not it's the right grinder for them.
Speaking of which,
I'll leave a link in the
comment section to both models here
so you can check those out
if you like
tour views like this
and you wanna see what else I use
in the shop
on a regular basis
that I find useful
don't forget to subscribe
and I'll show you another tool next Tuesday.
Other than that
guys stay safe
use a guard
and have a good one!
