things you need to know about anxiety
number one anxiety is not in control of
you and you don't have to be at the
mercy of it there are skills you can
learn to bring down the intensity of
anxiety so that you can feel more in
control and number two anxiety is not
permanent when it feels like it's there
all the time it's usually because it's
being retriggered repeatedly either by
something outside of us in the body or
maybe the thoughts that we're spending
time with and number three most
importantly anxiety is not something
that's wrong with you you're not
malfunctioning anxiety is a normal human
emotion that everyone is wired to
experience when our needs for things
like safety and connection are not being
met so instead of seeing anxiety as the
core of the problem people do better
when they see anxiety as a sign of those
unmet needs
