we also know that most games can just be

downloaded now

even that is antiquated now there have

been ideas that well gamestop could

evolve into something that'll be like a

virtual

reality you know get people back to the

stores let people try games before they

buy it just come to gamestop

turn all the little stores into trials

you know stores basically before you buy

the game

that's great in theory but what stops

people from trying in the store

and then buying or downloading online

it's also

slightly problematic given that usually

gamestops are

small there's not a lot of space to move

around a new virtual reality and game

stuff

so while we hear some of these ideas

it's like it's not so good

not so good ideas for the future of game

stuff but we do know that there are some

really good new ideas cooking

and this folks this might be one of them

this could be one of the ideas that

actually shoots gamestop

to the moon not just off momentum but

off of fundamentals but we do have some

problems okay first

first problem we do have competition in

this space so

it's not just change the game gamestop

hey look it's the retro game boy because

they know

all of us who used to play with these

game boys were like oh my gosh i

remember

i remember playing pokemon on this i

remember when they came out with the

game boy color

whoa color yeah

but anyway we're building our team we

welcome exceptional engineers

uh uh solitary reaction okay designers

game marketers whatever they're hiring

people for their nft

awesome cool they're nft projects that's

great but we already know that

there is considerable competition in the

nft space now

gamestop has some things that websites

like wearable don't and we'll talk about

that but

look board elon right here board elon

is selling for what is this thing

selling for oh board elon

okay here we go oh they're selling many

different things here got it so

so board elon is selling multiple

different

products here here for example is the

martian bunkers rover wash

module one okay whatever

this thing is uh selling for uh 0.2

eth so 0.2 ethereum so if ethereum's

3 000 whatever 500 that uh 10

would be somewhere around 350 so this is

selling for around 700

okay great we know that we can buy this

by using something like a meta mask

so let's go ahead and start the

transaction here i'm not

actually going to buy this but this

gives you an example here because well

i actually can't buy this because i have

insufficient funds but it shows you that

we already do have an infrastructure

established

i can pay this seven hundred dollars i'm

gonna

pay about 21 in fees oh look it's

actually only 573

in total five i'm going to pay this

about 573 of that and paying about 21

in fees and i could purchase this

nft or at least place a bid on the nft

or buy it out whatever

it's not that bad once you get meta

masks set up

it's not that difficult to buy these

products it's not that difficult to buy

nfts but we do have the issue of how do

we display

our nfts how do we more in a streamlined

way

encourage better development of better

nfts

do people actually know about wearable

and this is

you know a little bit of an issue

actually all of these things are issues

but they're not issues that gamestop has

see gamestop

has something that we all love brand

we all know gamestop has a very very

strong brand

but technically so does ebay maybe not

as strong of a brand since ebay

i hate saying this but i feel like it's

kind of turned into a little bit like a

craigslist version which

i hate saying about craigslist too

because they used to love craigslist but

let's just say

it's gotten a little weird okay sorry to

the ebay and craigslist likers okay

we're focusing on gamestop here

point is gamestop hey gamestop could

have a very real potential

of making things more well known and

more simple for us to purchase nfts

especially related to

our games our memes our favorite

characters and heroes and games

this is really exciting for gamestop and

gamestop potentially also has a way of

making the whole

payment infrastructure the fee process

everything related to this much simpler

who knows maybe they won't even use

ethereum who knows maybe they have their

own

coin or they'll partner with doge or who

knows what they'll do

but we know that gamestop getting into

the nft space

is quite frankly changing the game it is

a very very very smart move

because the landscape is blurry right

now ebay doesn't have nfts yet they're

just thinking about it they're

developing their nft platform

wearable isn't as well known as a

company like gamestop

and metamask is clunky it's very

complicated for people to set up

understand how to use when you want to

fund your meta mask

it costs lots of money uh you pay fees

to fund your meta pass you pay fees to

do things with the metabolism the gas

fees are obscene

these are massive opportunities for to

change the game

now something that we i mean this is a

big positive obviously for gamestop

uh and this would make a very easy

transition for people to start buying

nfts through gamestop

assuming the whole nft craze doesn't die

that would be a very

real risk factor as the nft craze goes

away right

uh but how do we look at this

game changer here of gamestop getting

into nfts which has been rumored for

about a month now and now we're seeing

this website

how do we value this well this is where

things get

very dirty and so now i think it's

useful to start

separating some of the pros and cons so

first of all pros

gamestop they're not going to modify

their stores in the ways that we'd like

but they might be able to display nfts

that you could then

shop maybe it's like you go to a mall

and you buy nfts scanning a qr code and

you buy it with your gamestop

you know card or gamestop coin or

whatever they come up with that's a pro

we know gamestop has the locations

that's a pro

so facilitating purchasing while people

are in a purchasing mindset in a mall

huge pro we know gamestop has brand

recognition which is a huge

pro and we know that this is a space

that's existing

or currently very clunky which is a pro

because now it's easier to change it and

make it better

it's not like you already have the

amazon of nfts if anything

websites like wearable and and

integrated with metamasks it's still

clunky it's still messy it's not as well

known

okay so those are the pros for gamestop

i'm very bullish on this

idea the idea of people walking into a

gamestop mall

and just buying nfts that i love from

all store right

gamestop doesn't own the whole ball i

know that okay cons though right cons

gamestop is a momentum stock we know

this it's about 22 percent short

uh it is a momentum stocking with

momentum stocks we can have very very

extreme run ups

and run downs so as an investor in

gamestop we have to

know that we have to be very careful

about how we time our entrances and

exits

and if we're a long run handler we also

want to be careful about our entry

points

because somebody obviously who long run

diamond hand

hold old huddled at a 480 is is feeling

the pain right now right

so we know that gamestop is a momentum

stock this makes entering an exit very

very important to time properly so you

have to be very very careful

and this is not to insult gamestop i

never want to suggest that a company is

bad because it's a momentum stock i

don't think microvision is a bad company

because it's a momentum stock or bngo is

a bad company because it's a momentum

stock

uh i don't think am you know you get the

idea okay i'm not bagging on companies

just saying when they when a significant

portion of the people buying and selling

the stock

are trading it that messes up

fundamentals

in addition to it being momentum stock

how do we value this

if gamestop is going to come in and

lower gas fees how do they make money

how much is it going to cost to convert

their stores or even portions of their

stores

to nft warehouses

are people actually going to buy nfts in

a ball well they're just going to buy

them online

is gamestop capable of having that

online sort of e-commerce nft store

that's better than wearable that's

better than some of the other options or

their payment process

will their payment while integration

process be better

than metamask could be worse just

because gamestop is doing it doesn't

mean it's definitely going to be better

now

i want to be clear here we got some

really really cool pros

i'm bullish i think these are things and

ideas that can bring game stuff to the

moon

there are also some very real concerns

as an investor

fundamental investor i'm a i'm a weight

kind of guy on this one

as a trader this is a perfect catalyst

to trade any update on the nfts you

gotta be an

expert in what's going on the pros the

cons you track these earnings you track

everything to make sure you are watching

the development and

seeing which direction are we going in

oh they go in their own coin direction

or they go in their own wallet direction

how are we going to play this
