Meet Kevin's Take on Trump's use of the National Guard.

unpopular opinion, but I personally

think Donald Trump deploying the

National Guard into areas where there

are serious crime issues is a great

idea. I ran for governor in 2021 and I

promise to deploy the National Guard in

California to solve the homeless crisis.

Not just people dying on the streets,

but also try to rehabilitate people and

get people back into society and not

into homelessness, preventing people

from falling into homelessness.

Unfortunately, there's so much of a

Democrat versus Republican

sentiment around law and order right

now. I lose my mind. This idea that

deploying the National Guard is is

somehow, you know, a dictatorship is

crazy to me. Well, we have people like

this, someone who fled Ukraine

to be safe in America to get randomly

killed by this guy who's been over and

over and over again released from jail

or prison uh on bail, served some time,

gets back into trouble, gets back onto

the streets, then murders people. This

is disgusting. People like this should

be put to death. That's my take. Now,

it's hard take, but it's my take. And

it's actually one of the reasons why so

many people in areas where there is no

National Guard deployment or where there

is a lack of law enforcement presence.

It is one of the reasons why so many

people feel the need to carry a gun, a

concealed weapon all the time, because

you just can't rely

on there being enough law enforcement

presence. Now, there are actually uh I

got these I got these bags and I want to

show them off because I think they're

really cool. But I wanted to

specifically bring up these bags. This

particular bag uh and then this one

right here because these bags uh were

made in Ukraine. I was not expecting

this uh uh you know this disaster to

happen, but in honor of this girl, I

want to shout out you know Ukrainian

made product here. Uh and so this what's

really cool about these two uh is that

they have this sort of quick release

strap in the front. So you could, you

know, hold this in the front or the back

or however you want to like put it on

you. But uh what's amazing is they have

this little quick release strap over

here. Let me show it to you on the other

camera. Uh and

uh there you go. Sort of right here. And

you could kind of knit this strap down

pretty rapidly and it opens up a

concealed carry compartment right here,

which is pretty cool if you think about

it. So, if you have a concealed carry

license, uh, or you're in a state where

you don't even need a concealed carry

license, having that sort of quick

release strap and not having to like

appendix carry or or whatever, which is

uncomfortable if you go to dinner and

you got a full tummy and your appendix,

you're like, "Oh, you feel like crap."

or or you're worried about, you know,

like imprinting or whatever. These are

This is actually kind of cool. Now, you

know, obviously you put other things in

here as well. Wallet, EpiPen, pens or

whatever. It's kind of cool, I thought.

But but I I wanted to shout out these

Ukrainian bags

uh because I think they're kind of cool.

I got, you know, other batteries and

stuff in here. Uh, and so I'll show I'll

show I'll use um pretty basic uh Glock

here for a moment and just showcase this

bag a little bit more again because I

think it's really cool uh and it

relates. So here's just empty firearm.

And um we can go ahead and um so I

always point the always point the tip

away when I'm loading it or putting it

in here. But I think that's kind of

cool, you know, but it's also sad that

we have to live in this day and age

where you have to be worried about this.

And this is why I love, you know, I [ __ ]

on politicians all the time, you know,

that I love what Trump is doing with the

National Guard. If I was one of these

governors, you know, in uh Illinois,

like for Chicago or some of these other

places, I'd be like, "Please let the

National Guard in. Please bring the

National Guard and stop death and crime

because there's no place for death and

crime in America. And I'm not saying

that, you know, everybody should have a

gun and and I'm not saying that a

concealed carrier could have stopped

this, right? I mean, like she was zoned

out on her phone, but it's like even if

she had a gun, there's nothing she could

have done in the situation unless she

saw it coming from further away. This is

just a crappy situation. Again, I'm I'm

bringing this up to mention that it we

are in America where people feel like

they have to walk around with guns

because of the lack of law and order.

And I don't care if you're a Democrat or

Republican. You know, you shouldn't have

to constantly think about, oh, how

quickly, you know, can I go to my little

quick draw here and pull out a firearm?

It's crazy, but that's the world we're

in.

So, I mean, I like this bag a lot. And

the other one is is the same. It's like

a a smaller

uh I haven't This one I don't think I

finished setting up all the way. Did I?

Oh, I guess I did. Uh it's smaller. So,

I only have one mag in here. And the

other one I put two extra mags. So, this

one, two mags and a gun. This one one

and a little, you know, slot here. But

anyway, u it's got the same like quick

And it's just the number. Now I have to

write out that actual word, but uh you

know I wanted to just take that

opportunity and say pump uh

I support what you're doing with the

National Guard. And I know some people

are going to be like, "That's dictatory.

That's communist." You know, whatever.

That's fine. But I prefer law and order

over just the idea that to protect your

family, you even need this. We shouldn't

need this kind of stuff. This should be

unnecessary. We should feel safe in

America. And we don't. Uh and so that's

pathetic in my opinion, you know. and

then law-abiding uh people or you know

end up like getting in trouble for gun

violations or whatever. You know, it's

ridiculous. And then these people walk

around on the streets scot-free killing

people. It's it's terrible. All right,

keep that all locked up. So, uh anyway,

that's my take. Uh a lot of people have

been asking my opinion on the National

Guard uh and the deployments and and

that's my take. So uh you know somebody

here says a gun in a backpack is stupid.

By the time you reach homeboy already

dropped you and took off in the back.

You know people say that uh you probably

don't carry a gun yourself. But even if

you did uh you have to realize that

there there are three states you could

have. You could be in a state where you

have no gun. You could be in a state

where you have an appendix carry. Hey,

you could you could pull I I could draw

and get on point in about a second and a

half. That's fantastic. That's very

quick. Uh and then I could be, you know,

have a bag and then maybe it takes me 4

seconds. So yeah, there's a delta of

about 2 and a half seconds, but I would

rather bag

and a 4 second draw than dude, I don't

want to go to dinner with an appendix

carry and feel like crap or worry about

imprinting and then decide I'm just not

going to bring one and then not have one

at all. Right? So you have to look at

those scenarios. There are scenarios

where you appendix carry or or concealed

carry. There are times you bag carry and

then you've got the quick draw uh strap

which I think is amazing and there are

times you don't carry at all. Uh so you

kind of have to fit this to your

scenario but but this blanket oh always

impellants carry that's just [ __ ]

Come on let's be real man. Uh so um yeah

let's see here. Uh

let's see let's see let's see here.

Yeah, some of your comments are funny.

Uh, so somebody here says, "True, I hate

having to sit if I have it on." Uh,

right. Like any I mean any kind of

concealed sucks. Uh,

somebody here says, "Kevin, your gun

should have a mag unccocked while

concealed." I mean, look, everybody is

different, but uh I I don't like mags

in in safes inside of guns. Uh so I keep

them separate.

So, uh you know, in in a safe there's

there's a firearm and and then there's a

mag. It just doesn't take that long, you

know, once you go into a safe anyway.

But with seven children, even inside of

the safe, I want to go even a step

further and assume like if for some

reason they got in the safe or it didn't

lock all the way, you know, we're we're

we have one extra step beyond just an

accidental discharge, right? So, there

are some things that you kind of have to

balance, but I actually think when you

concealed carry, you could be mag and

cocked. I I don't have a problem with

that. Uh, so you could load and bake

ready and concealed carry. Like I'm

really not worried about an accidental

discharge if I'm carrying. I'm more

worried about an accidental discharge if

children get their hands on something,

which they really should never. And so

you know, those those are some thoughts

here. Somebody here says 380 with pocket

clips make make uh 380 with pocket clip

makes carrying easier. That's true.

Yeah. Uh, that is true.

Uh, let's see here. Let's see. Let's

see. Let's see.

They actually have a a small sig. That's

a 380. And it's uh what is it? 6 + 1.

That one's not bad. I think it's still a

little too large. Yeah, the 238. That's

it. The 238. I have that. Uh but I think

that one's too large for a true pocket

carry. Uh, that one would work well in a

smaller bag or or it's not that bad to

to like if you want to appendex carry

that one, but still like all that

plastic and stuff. It's just you have to

have the right outfit on. Like it's hard

to to do that if you want to be in

shorts or whatever, you know. Uh,

anyway, that's my take on the National

Guard. That's my take on uh, you know,

Donald Trump. And I honestly think

Democrats would be smart to wake up and

join the law and order movement out out

of respect for local police departments.

I agree. Yes, we should fund the police

more. In fact, in 2021 during the whole

defund the police movement when I was

running my campaign for governor,

one of the things that got the most

applause during my campaign events and

my speeches was we will not defund the

police, we will fully fund the police.

that was in conjunction with the

National Guard idea because like use the

National Guard as a cr like a crutch for

a while for a period of time so you

could actually fully fund the police

properly hire and build out the police

department. So I don't want to say that

you know I support the National Guard

deployment as a replacement to law

enforcement. I mean you don't I you

maybe you don't know this about me. I I

was uh you know I I spent three years

working volunteering for law enforcement

on the road. I think I probably got like

1500 hours of on the road time doing,

you know, um, DUI, sobriety field

checks, uh, you know, and I actually

know the DUI law really well, uh,

because we studied it and I went to

national competitions, uh, you know, on

how to perform, you know, horizontal

gaze, estagmus, you know, the obviously

the walking test, all that kind of

nonsense. This was all back when I was

in high school and after high school.

But um uh you know in addition to that

domestic violence situations, police

pursuits, you I've been involved in all

that stuff. And uh so I really have a

big respect for law enforcement and you

can't you can't replace local law

enforcement because local law

enforcement is specialized in dealing

with people's issues. It's is you're

basically customer service for humans in

a domestic setting, right? The National

Guard really isn't that. The National

Guard is presence. The National Guard is

deterrence. That's what that is. You

still need law enforcement to actually

deal with traffic stops in a safe way,

to deal with domestic violence in a safe

way, to deal with, you know, burglaries,

whatever, trespasses, whatever. You need

a law enforcement for that. The National

Guard can't do that. They serve as

presence and deterrence. That's it. So,

so it's a it's a good good statement

there. Why not advertise these things

that you told us here? I feel like

nobody else knows about this.
