A ton of news out of the White House

0:02

press a press briefing that just

0:04

occurred. Uh this is a little bit of a

0:06

shocker because we got some health news

0:07

from Donald Trump and a little bit more

0:09

on Jeffrey Epstein. Let's hit the

0:12

Jeffrey Epstein stuff because it's going

0:13

to be about 15 seconds and then we'll

0:15

get the health news on Trump which is

0:16

going to take a whole lot longer to

0:17

cover. So, uh, regarding

0:20

a appointing a special counsel in the

0:22

Epstein case to review the files, like

0:25

some kind of neutral special counsel,

0:27

Donald Trump has denied appointing a

0:30

special counsel to review the Epstein

0:32

files. They say they will only release

0:34

credit credible information and that's

0:36

it. They're leaving it at that. Case

0:38

closed. They're basically not going to

0:40

release anything else. Uh they uh were

0:42

then asked, "Hey, were you guys reaching

0:44

out to MAGA influencers about Epstein,

0:47

asking people to tone it down?" And

0:49

they're like, "We reach out to our

0:50

partners all the time." I'm like, "All

0:52

right." I mean, that's a tacid

0:54

endorsement that Yes. You're like, "Yo,

0:56

Ben Shapiro, we need some help here,

0:58

okay? Don't don't do this to us,

1:00

brother."

1:02

Uh anyway, we need to talk about the

1:04

Donald Trump health issue because it's

1:06

actually

1:07

maybe not great. Uh, I mean, it could

1:09

also just be an old age thing. Maybe

1:11

Donnie T needs a little bit of ozimpic

1:13

to get some of that blood flowing again,

1:15

but it could be a sign of a larger

1:17

problem. And it's worth talking about

1:19

this so you can get caught up on what

1:21

these details are. So, Donald Trump was

1:23

diagnosed with chronic venus

1:26

insufficiency.

1:28

Now technically this alone does not

1:31

indicate that you have deep vein

1:33

trombosis or any kind of arterial

1:36

disease but it could have been caused by

1:39

prior occurrences of deep vein

1:42

trombosis. They say that presently

1:45

Donald Trump does not have deep vein

1:47

trombosis but DVT which is what we'll

1:50

use for now can lead to CVI which is

1:53

what they are saying Donald Trump has.

1:56

So they're saying he doesn't have the

1:57

bad, he's just got like the more normal

1:59

stuff. Now CVI is pretty common. There

2:02

are six different stages. One is no

2:06

evidence, but you're starting to feel a

2:08

little weakness and maybe your

2:09

extremities. The reason this happens is

2:11

because there are valves in your veins

2:13

and when blood gets pushed to your

2:14

extremities, especially your legs where

2:16

Donald Trump was indicating some

2:18

swelling or at the end of his hands

2:21

where at the end of his hands you were

2:22

seeing not only some signs of swelling

2:24

but potentially discoloration. One of

2:26

the reasons this can happen is because

2:28

as the blood goes to the extremities,

2:30

it's supposed to flow from your arteries

2:32

which are bringing blood to the area and

2:34

then once that's that is used up, we're

2:36

bringing that blood back through the

2:37

veins. Some of these valves may not

2:41

function as well anymore when you are a

2:43

overweight or b old and obviously worse

2:48

if both are true. Uh this affects about

2:50

40% of people you see here, especially

2:52

those over 50. It's actually more common

2:55

in women by a ratio of 2:1. Now, Donald

2:59

Trump isn't exactly the thinnest uh for

3:03

his age. So, it's worth remembering that

3:06

uh as you are overweight and you're over

3:09

50, this is an issue that can occur.

3:11

Now, a lot of obviously I expect the

3:12

MAGA influencers are going to go, "Oh my

3:15

gosh, this is a total nothing burger.

3:17

Everybody's talking about this and it's

3:18

nothing." And then all the left-wing

3:20

influencers are going to be like, "He's

3:22

dying." And then you're going to get

3:25

people like me who are just going to

3:26

give you the arguments on both sides.

3:27

So, Donald Trump, remember, he is 79

3:30

years old. He just turned 79 uh last

3:33

month. So, not uncommon, but you really

3:36

want to pay attention to this. One of

3:39

the ways you could reduce some of the

3:40

problem here in addition to like

3:42

compression fittings or like lifting

3:44

your legs at the end of the day when

3:45

you're done working or resting or

3:47

whatever is frankly by losing weight.

3:50

So, is it possible that it could be a

3:52

good idea for Donnie T to maybe uh take

3:54

some weight loss drugs and reduce

3:56

weight? Obviously, it's a question for

3:58

him and his doctor, but could it reduce

4:02

some of this blood flow uh problem

4:04

that's occurring? Absolutely. And so can

4:07

exercise. Losing weight and exercise can

4:10

help prevent or mitigate this. Once you

4:12

have D CVI, though, it's not good and it

4:16

can lead to serious complications. You

4:18

cannot cure CVI. It is an incurable. It

4:21

is a manageable issue. The bigger

4:24

question is what is causing the CVI. Now

4:27

the White House is telling us that there

4:28

is no sign of DVT. Again, that's deep

4:32

vein trombosis. They say that they've

4:34

not only done an EKG, echo cardiogram,

4:37

that they've done by lateral lower

4:38

extremity venus doppler ultrasounds.

4:41

This is basically in English, yo, we

4:43

took an ultrasound to your legs. And

4:45

we're like, yo, what's causing the

4:46

swelling, dog? and we're like, "Oh, we

4:48

don't see any blood clots, so you must

4:50

be good." We also did blood tests which

4:53

indicate no cardior strain markers,

4:56

which means you don't have any DVT or

4:58

deep vein trombosis at the time.

5:01

However, DVT can come and go. So, if you

5:05

have DVT and you get tested, great. You

5:08

could see it. If it clears on its own,

5:10

great. And then you get tested, oh,

5:12

you've got no DVT. But then all of a

5:14

sudden you know in the future if you

5:17

don't start working on maybe exercise or

5:19

your health you could end up with DVT

5:21

which again leads to CVI which is what

5:24

we are seeing them admit to him having.

5:26

The problem with DVT is if the blood

5:30

clots from DVT dislodge they can go to

5:32

your brain or your lungs and then you

5:34

die with a pulmonary embolism. Now it's

5:38

worth knowing that PE or pulmonary

5:40

embolisms they're actually really

5:42

common. You know how many people die in

5:44

car accidents? Like 40,000 40 to 40 40

5:48

to 40,000 a year in the United States

5:50

from pulmonary embisms. You have about a

5:53

100,000 people that die per year from

5:56

pulmonary embisms. So these are a big

5:59

deal. Like this just happens with old

6:00

age. The blood clots happen, they break

6:02

loose, and you die. Uh and this happens

6:05

more in people who are overweight,

6:07

older, and not necessarily super

6:09

physically fit. We kind of know that

6:11

Donald Trump isn't incredibly fit. And

6:13

frankly, the fact that he doesn't have

6:15

larger health problems is a blessing for

6:18

him with this, you know, weight and age.

6:20

That said, if it is true that all he has

6:22

is CVI, we've got a few stages. Stage

6:24

zero, no signs. Stage one, spider veins.

6:27

Stage two, varicose veins. Stage three,

6:30

uh, swelling. Stage four, changes to

6:33

skin color or texture. Uh, which is

6:35

exactly what we're seeing, changes to

6:37

skin color or texture. Uh, that's stage

6:40

four CVI. Stage five would be an ulcer

6:43

that is cleared. Stage six would be an

6:46

active ulcer. The problem with CVI is

6:48

this doesn't come from handshaking.

6:50

Okay? Uh, you know, Carolyn Levit, she's

6:52

like, oh, you know, he shakes so many

6:54

hands. It's kind of like they're trying

6:55

to imply, oh, he's the dealmaker. He's

6:57

always shaking hands everywhere. Man,

7:01

this is just the classic kind of White

7:03

House propaganda that you get. Oh,

7:05

dealmaker and chief. He's shaking so

7:07

many hands. his hands are discoloring.

7:10

It doesn't work that way. Okay?

7:11

Medically, you don't get CVI from

7:13

shaking people's hands. It doesn't

7:15

happen. Now, what matters here most is

7:19

you got to monitor the CVI because it

7:21

could lead to ulcers, uh infections

7:24

under the skin, cellulitis, uh and it

7:26

could lead to sepsis. All those things

7:28

are very very bad. But this is all

7:30

manageable and monitorable. You can

7:33

handle this. Again, best case scenario,

7:35

you lose weight, you exercise again.

7:36

He's obviously got a busy schedule. He

7:38

sits around a lot. Uh whether it's

7:40

office, phone calls, planes. I'll tell

7:43

you, planes suck. I'm a jet pilot,

7:45

multi-engine rated jet pilot, certified

7:48

to be the pilot in command of a

7:50

multi-engine jet as a single pilot for

7:52

single pilot operations. And I'll tell

7:54

you, one of the things that sucks about

7:55

aircraft flying, studying, and training

7:58

or just being a passenger is you're

7:59

sitting a lot, whether on the

8:01

helicopters or on the planes. It this

8:04

doesn't help Donald Trump. He's now

8:05

going to Scotland. None of this stuff

8:07

helps his situation here. You got to get

8:09

that exercise going. In golf, as we

8:11

know, when you're golf carting around,

8:13

it's a limited form of exercise. I don't

8:15

actually think he's really getting any

8:17

kind of exercise. So, keep this in mind.

8:20

You've got a few announcements here. The

8:22

Epstein thing, not a surprise they're

8:24

denying it. The health thing, big

8:26

surprise. Uh, you know, Carolyn yapping

8:29

about how Trump is bringing core

8:30

inflation prices down. She's completely

8:33

ignoring that. the fact that core

8:34

inflation is coming down because service

8:36

prices are plummeting, especially

8:38

airfares. But what's happening is core

8:41

good prices which are affected by uh

8:43

tariffs are skyrocketing. On an

8:46

annualized basis, we're up 6.6% on core

8:48

goods like appliances or sporting goods

8:51

or toys in part because we're starting

8:53

to see some of those tariff in uh

8:55

impacts start showing up. So the sort of

8:57

propaganda that oh tariffs don't cause

8:59

inflation is insane. Yes, inflation is

9:01

slowing, but it'd be slowing a lot more

9:03

if it weren't for these tariffs, and

9:05

then we'd be lowering rates, which is

9:06

ironic because that's what Trump wants.

9:08

Uh, that says when said, when it comes

9:10

to this health issue, does this mean

9:12

Donald Trump's going to drop dead

9:13

tomorrow? No. This is not a very

9:16

near-term risk. You just have to make

9:18

sure that this isn't being caused by

9:20

potentially an undiagnosed DVT. Again,

9:23

that deep vein trombosis that could lead

9:25

to blood clotting and then PE or

9:27

basically death. uh survivability rate

9:30

of an embolism,

9:32

it's bad. Uh but you know, if we do have

9:37

some other underlying conditions that

9:38

are causing the CVI, that's really what

9:41

you want to pay attention to. Again, I

9:43

think it comes down to just weight and

9:44

age. But that's my POV. Uh otherwise,

9:47

this this gives you sort of a full

9:48

breakdown of what we just heard at the

9:51

presser. It is surprising. And if it

9:53

makes you nervous just about the

9:54

fragility of life, remember you can

9:56

always go to metaven.com/life

9:59

to get life insurance in as little as

10:01

five minutes. Same life insurance Lauren

10:02

and I use. Uh it's cheaper to get the

10:05

younger you are when you get it. Uh so

10:08

sign up for it. It's term life. It's

10:09

really easy. Like if you don't have any

10:11

policy, like you could always, you know,

10:12

cancel and go for something else in the

10:14

future. But check it out. See how much

10:16

it's going to cost you. You know, some

10:17

people sign up, they're like, "Kevin, it

10:18

only cost me 20 bucks a month." Some

10:19

people are like, "It's 15 bucks a

10:20

month." Some people are like, "Well, the

10:21

policy I want is 50 bucks a month, but

10:22

I'm going to do it because if I go oopsy

10:24

dupsies, uh, you know, I want to leave

10:27

my family with with something uh, you

10:29

know, so it makes the process of

10:30

transitioning a little bit easier." Uh,

10:33

anyway, none of it is fun to talk about,

10:34

but go check it out. Meke

10:37

Kevin.com/life.

10:39

Met Kevin cuz he got to know me. And,

10:42

um, you could get that and sign up in as

10:44

little as 5 minutes. They're a paid

10:45

sponsor of the channel. All right.

10:46

>> Why not advertise these things that you

10:48

told us here? I feel like nobody else

10:50

knows about this.

10:50

>> We'll we'll try a little advertising and

10:52

see how it goes.

10:53

>> Congratulations, man. You have done so

10:54

much. People love you. People look up to

10:56

you.

10:56

>> Kevin Praath there, financial analyst

10:58

and YouTuber. Meet Kevin. Always great

11:00

to get your take.
