Praise be to God, the Creator of existence from not

hingness, the One who brings forth light from darkn

ess, the One who brings forth patience from pain, t

he One who bestows repentance upon remorse, and the

One who spreads it through calamities, just as we

thank Him for His blessings. We pray for His most n

oble Messenger, the one of lofty honor, perfect lig

ht, the one who possesses the decisive Book, the pe

rfection of the prophets, the seal of the prophets,

the master of the children of Adam, whom Jesus, so

n of Mary, foretold and for whose mission Abraham,

peace be upon him, prayed when he was raising the f

oundations of the Sacred House of God. May God’s pe

ace and blessings be upon him and upon his follower

s, the best of nations, through whom God has blesse

d all people, Arabs and non-Arabs alike. Praise be

to God, who has not taken a son, nor does He have a

partner in His dominion, nor does He need a protec

tor out of weakness. And magnify Him with all magni

ficence. Praise be to God, who revealed the Book to

His servant and did not make it crooked. Praise be

to God, whom we praise, from whom we seek help, fr

om whom we ask forgiveness, in whom we believe, and

upon whom we rely. We seek refuge in Him from the

evil of our own souls and from the evil of our deed

s. Whomever God guides, none can lead astray, and w

homever He leads astray, none can guide. We bear wi

tness that there is no god but God. God, the One, w

ithout partner, and we bear witness that Muhammad i

s the servant of God and His Messenger, whom God Al

mighty sent with guidance and the true religion to

make it prevail over all other religions. And God s

uffices as a witness. May God’s peace and blessings

be upon him abundantly. Now then, the truest of sp

eech is the Book of God, and the best guidance is t

he guidance of Muhammad, peace and blessings be upo

n him. And the worst of matters are those that are

newly invented, and every newly invented matter is

an innovation, and every innovation is misguidance,

and every misguidance leads to Hellfire. The Almig

hty says in His Noble Book, in the month of Ramadan

: “God intends for you ease and does not intend for

you hardship, and [wants] for you to complete the

period and to glorify God for that [to] which He ha

s guided you; and perhaps you will be grateful. And

when My servants ask you, [O Muhammad], concerning

Me - indeed I am near. My Lord, expand for me my b

reast [with assurance] and untie the knot from my t

ongue that they may understand my speech. And O God

, make us firm at the time of death with ‘There is

no god but God.’ And O God, make us among those who

believe and do righteous deeds and advise one anot

her to truth and advise one another to patience. Am

en, O Lord of the worlds. God is the Greatest, God

is the Greatest, God is the Greatest. There is no g

od but God, and God is the Greatest. Greatest, and

n His chosen servants, especially the best of them

and the seal of the prophets, Muhammad the trustwor

m. God Almighty says in His Holy Book, after I say,

"I seek refuge in God from the accursed Satan," th

at God and His angels send blessings upon the Proph

et. O you who have believed, send blessings upon hi

m and greet him with a worthy greeting. O God, bles

s Muhammad and the family of Muhammad as You blesse

d Abraham and the family of Abraham among all the w

orlds. You are indeed Praiseworthy and Glorious. O
