Carbon Express Arrow Saw With MFJJ!!& Giveaway at 15K

hello and welcome back to the YouTube

channel mfjj here talking about a Carbon

Express aerosaw a couple years ago Apple

used to make a ton of Arrow saws we sold

a bazillion of them seemed like back in

the day and they went out of business so

they quit producing or quit making them

and pretty bummed on next we haven't

really had an economical Arrow saw in

the shop since then we've had the the

last chance saw which is an amazing saw

but at 550 it's going to turn a lot of

people away because it's just too

expensive Carbon Express came out this

150 one so we figured we'd do a little

unboxing and then test how good and

square of a angle it cuts and see how

loud it is so let's open her up take a

look

we just got these in the shop about two

weeks ago and put them up on the website

and started selling them and hadn't even

opened one yet so

we'll see what we get here

the one thing I can say about the apples

that we used to have the box was not

very protective so

we get a lot of them in shipping get

broken so hopefully this this one I can

already tell you has a bigger box so I

think it's going to be a little safer

and

wow

you protected the crap out of that look

at that

it's well packaged

directions I probably won't read those

all right let's take a look you see here

oh there's tape on it already so another

thing I would compare to the apples it

didn't have a tape on it you had to

stick it on there already so that's kind

of nice looks like it's got a shop vac

vent

for hooking a hose to it so when you're

cutting your arrows you should always

have a hose onto it because carbon dust

is bad for you

just FYI

overall it looks actually pretty darn

good I mean it's

lockdown's pretty firm

huh honestly for 150 bucks this looks

really nice

so let's take a little test test here

I see how loud it is

well that's really quiet

um

so far I'm quite impressed Let's uh The

Telltale of a good Arrow saw is how

straight of an edge it cuts when you cut

arrows

make sure your saddle stays good down in

here you knock saddle you don't want it

riding out you know it comes up like

that so you kind of got to do it slowly

so it gives you a square cut but

whenever you cut you always bring it

into the blade and then turn it towards

the blade as you cut don't do it quickly

do it smoothly and that'll give you a

better cut but let's see how this does

looks pretty clean but let's take our

squirring device here and I had a silver

Sharpie here we go we'll do a little

test and see how much we have to grind

on this to square it out

so whenever you're doing a square to

make sure you actually get the whole

thing Square you want to turn the whole

thing silver

and then when you run it through your

squaring tool until you don't see any

silver anymore now you know you got a

square Edge

so let's try this right here

well there's no silver left

so I would say that thing cuts a pretty

decent square cut so it's quiet it's

packaged incredibly well

and it's really reasonably priced to be

completely Frank I did not expect it to

be that nice I thought it was going to

be pretty Agency for 150 bucks that's a

really nice saw really quiet output

relatively accurate cut 150 bucks I

don't know what more you want folks but

they're on the website now I'll try to

keep them in stock we've sold like 20 of

them in a week so we only got like 70 so

I'll reorder them again and hopefully by

the time this video actually airs I have

another 70 or so in there but for 150 to

be able to cut your own arrows at home I

don't know of a better tool I have

tested some of the other ones in the

past not on video mind you that we're at

150 200 and I wasn't super impressed

with the cut and or the noise was really

loud or vibrated a lot that's a pretty

dang impressive saw for 150 bucks might
