course to just simply get back into more

No Man's Sky Worlds part two. Uh, of

which I I'm I'm almost done with phase

three. So, I would say that we're more

than halfway through it. Uh, and if I do

for some reason finish it early, I might

do a maybe do uh I might check out Mecca

Break a little bit later. We'll have to

see. You know how me and me and going

quickly with anything video game related

is impossible.

Uh, do you ever feel sad that you'll

never experience a front fart? What if

you experienced the front fart from

someone else and you're like in the

vicinity? You know, it's it's like what

what what about what what's like a

secondhand experience of a front

fart? Is that is that a distinct

a gas giant, you can bash out two more

missions, fishing and building a base."

Oh, I have to build a base. Huh. Okay.

Not that I I hate building bases. I

don't know. just I've never been much of

a builder. I'm like I' I've built a cube

to live in and that's good enough for

me. It's almost like I I would be

content living in a cardboard box at

some point in my life. Although to be

fair, I did live out of my car for about

3 months. That's a true story. Yeah. I

right after high school, I I just I

moved out of my parents' place and uh I

went I I drove from Washington DC to

Maine, picked up a friend of mine. We

drove from Maine back to DC just so I

could say goodbye to some friends. And

we drove from Washington DC to Denver,

Colorado. Uh, and because he said that

one of his old high school buddies

wanted to move out and get an apartment.

And so the three of us were going to

split an apartment in in Denver. Well,

we got there and he's like, "Hey, uh, I

can't really move out anymore." And we

were like, "Why? What's going on?" He's

like, "Well, all the money that I'd

saved up uh to move out, I spent on

snowboarding equipment." It's like,

"What?" He's like, "Yeah, I bought a new

snowboard and some new boots and some

other stuff." I was like, "Dude, we just

drove across the country because you

said you wanted to get your own place.

You know, we could split a place." He's

like, "Yeah, well, I can't anymore.

Also, I'm quitting my job at

Chuck-E-Cheese." That's a true story.

And so, he's like, "We'll do what we

supposed to do. You we don't have enough

money to like get an apartment on our

own." He's like, "Um, you could you

could like stay here maybe for a bit."

So, we we stayed in a we literally lived

in a tent in his backyard for 2 weeks.

When his dad was like, "No, these these

guys have got to go." I basically got

like backyard hobos. uh living in the

backyard. So we we left and we lived out

of my truck. Literally lived out of my

truck for about three months. I got a

job at McDonald's and he got a job at a

bowling alley. Uh you know, doing like

setting pins and cooking, you know, the

snack bar and all sorts of stuff. But

yeah, it was and it was leading into a

Denver winter, too. So yeah, it got very

very cold. But finally, we finally we

saved up enough to get our own

apartment. But needless to say, that guy

wasn't terribly welcome over at our

place. I mean, he came over a few times.

We're like, "Yeah, this is what it's

like having your own apartment." He's

like, "Oh, yeah. Can I hang out?" We're

like, "No, no, not a chance." So,

anyways, long story short, I lived in

Denver, Colorado for a little less than

a year. But, uh, then I, you know,

moved, ended up, you know, tucking my

tail between my legs and moving back in

with my parents for a while. Yeah. Yeah.

Kevin Richard Laura. So, yeah, I

actually did live out of my car for 3

months. Yeah, three months. A truck. It

was At least I had a truck. It was a

little little bigger. Hey, Side Quest.

Uh, speaking of Denver, it's a beautiful

61 degrees out. Uh yeah, it's better

than freezing cold, I guess. Uh I guess

spring is officially in what, like 8

days. So yeah, it's, you know, it's

little it's a little different for me

because it's like, yeah, you know, it's

it's about 73 degrees Fahrenheit here at

the end of winter or 22.9 for our

Celsius buddies. So

yeah, not exactly. Uh we don't exactly

get winter here in Florida. Two two

dudes, one truck. I mean, that's ah

that's literally what it was, man. It

was it was a very smelly experience cuz

I I was you know we didn't have a

shower. Sometimes we would go it's like

hey man um I haven't showered in a week.

Can I use your bathroom and your shower

at like a friend's house? He's like yeah

but you can't stay here. I was like I

know I just want to use a shower. Gosh,

I know what you mean. Most building I do

is for expeditions, right? Exactly. H

uh hit 75 this weekend. Good. Good. See

global warming is doing some good after

all. Of course, when it's 101 degrees

here in in uh Florida, I'll be like, "Oh

gosh, what what have I done?" Was Denver

before after the attempt at a wow

career? Uh a wow career. Wow career. Uh

that was that was Yeah, that was um

Well, I'm only 21, so I was trying to

think of a kind of fabricated timeline

here. Uh yeah, that was that was before

uh that was before I uh I started

playing WoW in in general, I guess you

could say. But WoW career, I don't know.

I I I I don't know. I never never h

maybe addiction was the better word.

Yeah. Yeah. Not a not a career. I I

definitely played WoW semi-religiously.

But yeah, I never never tried to make a

job out of it. Although at some points

it actually felt like a job. It's like,

well, I got to log in. I got to do my

dailies. I got to go do all this stuff.

You know, 6 hours later, it's like,

well, I'm going to get about four and a

half hours of sleep before my actual

job. So, that's that's a

plus. So, anyways, yeah, but I I yeah,

just I played a lot of W. played a lot a

lot of WoW. I think I only have only

have about 4,500 hours in WoW. And if

you're a hardcore WoW addict, anything

less than 10,000 is considered like

rookie numbers, you know? So, so

yeah, it's okay. But all right. Um, but

yeah, the plan for today is, of course,

to continue on with Expedition 17 Titan.

I'm more than halfway through it, but I

understand some things are going to be a

little time inensive today. Like I said,

if we finish early, I might doot around

a little bit, No Man's Sky, and then I

might check out Mecca Breakak as part of

a sponsored segment. So,

I got him on the kind of on the hook for

that. All right. I am so proud to say

I've never played WoW. Instead, I was an

Eve player. Yeah. I mean, MMOs or it's

whatever tickles your pickle, right,

Glacier? It's uh it's I mean, there

there were people who played EverQuest

or people who played WoW or people who

played uh God, what was it? Um yeah,

there was Eve. What? God, what were the

some of the other uh big MMOs, you know,

21 years ago when I was born? So, hey,

big 80s, welcome. Yeah. What other what

other big MMOs were there? You know, the

big ones now, of course, you know, like

Final Fantasy and stuff.

Um, trying to think. Um, yeah, the Final

Final Fantasy, was it 14? Oh, yeah,

that's right. There was Star Wars

Galaxies, Star Wars, the Old Republic.

Um, Ultima. I is was is Ultima Would you

consider Ultima to be an MMO RPG? I

guess. Yeah, I guess it would be, right?

That was that was before my time for

sure. Uh, even in real life, not just,

you know, Twitch internet life. Uh,

Final Fantasy 11 back then. Was that was

that was that an

MMO? Is that Is that the one where they

kind of like canceled it and then they

brought it back as Final Fantasy

14? Is is like Ultima? Because I used to

play um So, I'm only 21, I swear, but I

used to play Muds. If anyone knows what

a MUD is, a multi-user dungeon which was

largely just

textbased long time ago. Oh, 11. The

first MMO I beta tested it. Oh, okay.

Gotcha. Well, the canceled one was Final

Fantasy 14, but then they then they

brought it back, right? I mean, that's

what everyone plays now if I'm not

mistaken. But, uh, but yeah, you know, I

just uh Oh, how could I forget? There

was Anarchy Online. I think Anarchy

Online was the very first MMO I actually

played uh way back when. There was the

God, what what were the two factions?

There was the Omni and the something.

Then they had those like like like I

don't know, like rabid squirrel things

that were like

or whatever it was. Does anyone remember

what I'm talking about? Uh, played AO

for a bit. Yeah, I think I I think I had

a box somewhere. I still have my

original Anarchy Online box that I

played when I was like negative one

years old 20 years ago. Uh, let's see.

I'm so old that the mud I played was

analog. Yes, exactly. It's like, oh, I'm

playing a a mud. It's like me, too.

Barp, you know, making mud pies in the

backyard. Yeah, there was uh was Elder

How? But Elder Scrolls Online, when did

when did ESO come out? I'm trying to

think of like the early days of actual

MMOs, not multiplayer games, but

specifically MMOs, like you know, MMO,

RPG, LOL,

WTFs. But yeah, I think I think the very

first one I ever played was Anarchy

Online on a retro server uh that where

they brought it back cuz I'm only 21, I

swear.

Yeah. Okay. Well, um, so yeah, I guess

without further ado, let's go ahead and

jump into No Man's Sky Worlds part two,

but technically the Expedition 17 Titan

that is part of that. Oh man, lit

literally a minute before I went live, I

got something in my eye, and it's still

bugging the crap out of me. H, it's

like, you know, when you get a like an

eyebrow hair, an eyelash, it falls out,

but then it like boomerangs and just

whoop goes right into your eyeball.

GH Yeah, old Mama Dragon says, "I'm

still playing ESO and Guild Wars 2." I

I've still got friends that will still

play Anarchy Online apparently. I don't

know if it's Secret World or not Secret

World, Funcom still running those

servers or if it's like, you know,

basically fan servers at this point. But

yeah, some some of them still play

Anarchy Online to this day. I tried

maybe like 5 years ago. I tried to get

back into it. It's like, no, dude. This

is this is just too dated for me. Too

dated. If anything, if I had more time,

I'd love to keep playing WoW, but just

that that game is absolutely a time

sync. I love it. I really do. But it's

it's very much so a time

sync. All right, let's do this. Let's

jump into No Man's Guy and see uh see

where we left off for the

expedition. I'm enjoying my Liza P. Pull

your Yeah, I guess the whole thing about

Liza P. It's kind of like a like a Dark

Soulsish kind of game that's based on

the story of Pinocchio,

right? Bub says, "I still play Star Wars

Galaxies on that. It's on a fan server

now, right?" Uh ow. Uh uh ah dang. Yeah,

like I said, it was literally just a

minutes before I went live. I got

something in my eye. It's still still

kind of bugging me. All here we go. So,

yeah, I've got 460 hours. Oh, yeah. Wait

a minute. Hold on. I think yesterday I

hit I think I officially hit uh I think

I officially hit 800 hours in No Man's

Sky. Speaking of rookie numbers, hold

on. Let's see here. Um

uh oh, I'm at Oh, like Oh, chat. Here we

go. I'm at

799.2 hours. So, today in approximately

40 minutes, I guess, or whatever, um

I'll hit uh I'll hit officially 800

hours in No Man's Sky, which again, you

know, compared to some players is really

actually not a lot. And considering, you

know, that's 800 hours since the game

launched. There's other folks have like,

you know, four or 5,000 hours in the

game. You probably played through the

story 18 different times. Okay. All

right. Let's go ahead and jump into some

No Man's Sky.

Uh 1,200 hours. I know. All I have to do

is uh basically leave my computer on

every weekend. Just a No Man's Sky with

an auto clicker that just like moves my

character in a circle, you know? Just

rack up some

hours. Okay. Well, that loaded pretty

quick, so yeah. All right. Here we go.

Everything's loading in. Might take a

second before everything smooths out,

pans out,

whatever. All right.

Yikes. All right. Um, let's see here.

What were we at? All right. So, where do

we leave off on the expedition? We are

on phase three. I have to collect a

reward. Um,

uh, let's see. Phase three. Yeah. So, I

have to visit the site of a sunken

freighter. So, we tried to we tried to

see if we could uh find one easily

using, you know, using a a portal or

something, but sadly it did not

work. All

right, Colossus. I apparently I

apparently do have to build a Colossus

at some point. Oh, man. Paraphinium.

Dang. There was a I think there was a

place where I could have bought some

paraphernium. Of course, I could

probably just mine it as

well. Okay, let's see here. Prepackaged

Tey's

beam. Where does that go? Oh, that goes

on the nautilon. All right, here we go.

Oh, I guess I don't I can't apply that

right now. That's okay. Um, let's do

this. Um, yeah, that's a sonar unit. I

guess that's also for the the dudes

scanner module. I don't need to really

put that on my scanner because I've

already done the thing that requires

that I scan something. That's very

expensive. Suspicious hazard module.

what JTL? I forget what JTL stands for.

to make some more ion batteries. I need

to get cobalt. A lot of

cobalt.

Okay. All right. Tell you what, while

we're

here shield module. So that's for the

exo

suit. Let's see. Can I install

very good. So, that is a core health and

shield strength upgrade. So, only have

two slots left. I actually have six

little bit upset about that expansion.

Like they changed some stuff. I guess

what they made it where was like too

easy to become a Jedi or something like

that. All right, here we go. Let's go

ahead and buy

microprocessors. To buy an extra wiring

loomceived, those are always useful. Oh,

buy four quantum computers. I mean, I

have 5 million. I'm I'm I'm okay in that

paraphinium or phosphorus. But hey, the

quantum computer that also comes in

handy because I think I have to build

something that requires it. That

colossus one I knocked out when I

started as the owner of the base I

started out near uh had one built.

That's that's fun. Oh, that was after

JTL. No, that was later on. The first

one first came the combat upgrade and

then new game enhancements went from 32

professions to eight. You could roll a

Jedi from the start. Yeah. Wasn't Wasn't

that the one where people got all bent

out of shape about it? Is there like

they I guess people felt it kind of

dumbed down the game a little bit.

Okay. So, let's do

the uh the quantum bedrock achievements.

discovery. So, Bella Curi was I was

talking to her after the stream

yesterday and she said she had to go way

way outside of the uh the expedition

path to be able to find something that

she could rename uh to get credit for it

because she said like anything along the

path has already been renamed. Thousands

of different

creatures. Uh tried to compete with WoW

and failed miserably. Ah, I see. Okay.

All right. Um so, phase three. All

right, chat. So, what do we do here?

Visit the site of a sunken freighter.

What can you do with the sunken

freighter? What can you do with a sunken

freighter? Hopefully find it easily so I

can knock it out. Go offline and do that

was what I had to do. Oh, really?

that. That could be a good call. All

anyone Yeah, we were trying to see if

maybe somebody had made a base near a

sunken

seems like all these systems along the

expedition path are all uh either

uncharted or

abandoned, which is a little annoying.

actually looks like a crashed freighter,

but it looks like a crashed freighter

that's not

underwater. Uh, kill their game with

near

one. Yeah, cuz this guy this guy made

one. This This is what I'm I'm just

visually looking for. So, that's a uh

that's a crashed freighter, but I was

trying to see if maybe someone had one

underwater. This is underwater. H gas

giant. No place to call

home. Yeah, here it is. Here's another

crash freighter. Uh but that's not

uh Let's see. Oh, wait a minute. Hold

on. This looks like it might be gas

giant fishing spot, but it looks like

that actually looks like it might

be I can't tell because that kind of

looks like the you know the top part of

a crashed

freighter. Crapammers.

see. Yeah. So, I was kind of hoping

um actually hold on. This looks

like that also kind of looks like a

crashed freighter. H

um is it though? Yeah, that's a crashed

freighter, but it doesn't it doesn't

look like it's underwater. It might be.

underwater cuz I see I see what looks

like the dome. I don't know. Let's take

shot. Yeah, I ended up having two two

maze systems. Ended up having too many.

crash freighter, but damn. Yeah, this is

just a very very blue planet. Ah, bum

All righty. Well, we're getting

closer. All right, let's see if we can

get out of

here. As far as I know, uh, if the

system is uninhabited, there will be no

freighters. I mean, you're right. That

makes

sense. Yeah. So that that was a crashed

freighter. I mean, I kind of know what

to look for. It's just You're right. It

has to be to get credit for it has to be

underwater. All

righty. So, I mean, I'd like to think

any of these uh planets, you know, these

Titan planets with moons around them, if

the moon has water on them and it's a

habited system, any one of those moons

could have a crash crater underwater.

So, what about the other planets, moons,

and system? Yeah, that's literally we

were we're kind of on the same page here

that as long as it's not an uninhabited

system, there should be uh should be a

moon probably that will have water at

some

point. Yeah, it seems like all of the

all of the stations along the expedition

path are all either uncharted or

abandoned. Kind of reminds me of that uh

that one that one that one expedition

where the light, you know, the galaxy

was devoid of life.

Okay,

so apparently this one didn't render at

all. Hold on. Initiate docking

procedure. I would like to if the game

would let me

dock. Water worlds are also good.

Yeah. Okay. So, there is something wrong

with this one.

It's so abandoned the tractor beam isn't

working. I've seen this bug before. It's

kind of been in the game for a long

time, but uh it's going to make it a

little more difficult

to go to a different place. What system

am I in? I am in the Oh, yeah. The

Rahalen Regan system. Yeah.

So, I mean, I could try to find a

planet. Vermilion globe, tropical moon.

But I could try to go to Hano or Itano

and then yeah, try to get the Nautilon

and see if we could find a crashed

freighter that

way. All right. So, this one is Udell,

Deathly Green Anomaly. So, we probably

don't want that one.

man. I hate There's two things I I

really despise in life. It's getting

stuff in my eyes and getting cuts on my

fingertips. What's your thoughts on the

gas giants? Well, they're kind of

gigantic and gassy. That's That would be

my take. No, it's uh I mean, know it's

cool. They got these Yeah, these really

super large planets now. Uh and I've

I've been to both types. Yeah. Water

World Titans and then the uh like the

gas giants. All right, that's Yeah,

abandoned

Crucible. Let's see which one is this.

This one is Oh, here we go. Vermilion

Globe. So, let's see if uh let's see if

we can break out the nautilon

think they're I think they're kind of

neat. I think between the two, like the

uh the the gas giants and the water

worlds, I like the water worlds better.

water world titan. Yeah, Reuben, they

exist. All right, so let's take a look

here. Was kind of hoping there would be

water on this

planet. Yeah. Sorry, I kind of missed

the approach. I was trying to figure out

what's like something. I guess that's

something feels like got dust or

something in my

eye. Y'all about that mushroom tip

because this is the planet for

it. Yeah. Yeah. I mean, I've seen them.

I have seen them before. Just

uh Yeah. Is this not a water

world?

H I mean it looks like there should be

water. Sometimes the uh the way stuff

renders it could be a little deceiving

but

uh hold

on. Yeah, cuz from space it looks like

there's water, but then you get down to

it and yeah, you see what looks like

water turns into just, you know, ground

texture. Let's see. Or is this water?

Oh, maybe this is water. Okay. Nope,

it's ground texture. No, it is water.

It's just very shallow

water. Oh, weird. So, yeah, look at

this. So, it it does have water, but

it's very shallow

water. Yeah, I don't I don't think we

could really effectively use the

nautilon here. Yeah, that's a weird

planet, isn't it? Or a moon. It's

actually a

moon. Oh, so yeah. So, it is actual

water,

but Ruben says, "Took me ages to find an

underwater freighter." Yeah, that's kind

of what I'm kind of stuck with

now. Locate an underwater crash

freighter. Begin your search in deep

water.

H. It's like Yeah, it looks like Yeah,

it's like the Valheim swamp biome. By

the way, uh if any of you haven't been

following development, they have

actually started showing previews, uh a

few previews of the next and final biome

type, which is of course the the great

north, the frozen

north. So, uh we'll probably get that

maybe sometime this

year. All right. Well, I think this

place is kind of a bust. So, we got to

go find the other

um I got to go find the other uh moon.

What was it? It was Yeah. So, this is

Hano. And now we have to go to Etano. So

tropical moon. This this should have

oceans. We just have to find

it.

Okay. All right. Is that it over meow?

Wait, hold

on. There's

Udel, Deathly Green

Anomaly. So, let's kind of zip out a

little bit. It's been ages since I

played Valheim. I I really really like

Valheim. I will say that the last two

expansions were they were they were

still fun, but it kind of just wasn't as

at least for me, it wasn't as fun as the

core experience, like the core uh the

first five biome types, I guess you

could say, cuz the the the fourth bi or

I'm sorry, the uh the sixth biome type,

they changed it where supposed to be

kind of like these spooky haunted woods

with bunch of spiders and things and

they kind of changed it into this like

hilly obnoxiousness. I will say the boss

fight for the the sixth biome is pretty

cool. Now the seventh biome is the like

the the volcanic southern hemisphere I

guess you could say and that that it was

it was kind of visually awesome but they

made it really brutally brutally

difficult and they ended up nerfing it

after we played cuz it was just it was

just insanely

difficulty. I mean, we were dying like

20, 30 times every time we tried to log

in and play the game. And it's just it

was just, you

know, I guess the devs kind of wanted it

to be like it's like, yeah, you're

supposed to feel like you're in you're

in battle. But, uh, but yeah, it was

extremely

difficult. So, that's still

Udell. Like I said, it visually looked

awesome, but it got kind of tiring just

getting killed every 30 seconds or

however long. Let's see.

That's Hiano. That's the one I just came

from. So, let's try doing this. Let's

try going around the globe in a

different

direction. Uh, haven't made it to

Mistlands. Mistlands was kind of an

interesting concept, but they they

all the same things. It's has uh no

sentinels, no inclement weather. Uh it

looks like a tropical planet and uh

yeah, it's in a it's a low conflict

system. So yeah, just a perfect planet.

But,

uh, it's,

um, just just scared of the day that,

yeah, there's a game update and then it

finally turns into a garbage planet.

Have to start all over

again. I wish you could mark a planet so

that way it would you could find it a

little

easier. Uh, I'm really annoyed by the

fact that my laptop specs are just a

hair under what I need. I've missed out

on so many expeditions and awesome ships

that I will never have the chance to

get. Amoose, have you ever considered uh

using cloud gaming? Uh for instance,

like GeForce Now. GeForce Now actually

works very very very well. Um and it

doesn't matter what the system specs are

on your current system. Uh you log into

a remote gaming server that has, you

know, could have like 4080s, 4090s or

whatever based systems. Um and uh yeah,

it's it's a way you can play pretty much

any game, any modern game uh on any

system. So, I I've done I've done some

demos of it in the past. Uh, and it

works. Like I said, it actually works

very very well. Yeah, it's it's called

GeForce Now. Uh, you do have to own the

games that you want to play on GeForce

Now, but if you do, then yeah, you can

definitely found submerged freighters

way, but like I said, it seems like all

of the space stations, they made them

where they're all abandoned, and so

that's not an option. So, they're making

It's mostly kind of a test. It's not

like a It's not like a like an actual

true free tier where you just get to use

their services for free. It's mostly

just so you can try it out to see if it

actually works for you because it's

wholly dependent on how far away you are

from one of their data centers. Because

if you're, you know, like 10 miles away

from a data center, then you're good to

go. If you're a thousand miles from one

of their data centers, it won't work.

It'll be horribly, horribly lagged. But,

uh, but I've used it. I I live about

three hours from a data center, and it

works pretty well for me. So, okay. What

was that? What was that system that

someone

said? System Yak Shami. Yeah, Yak

Shami. Yeah. See, it'd be nice if it

would say the system names.

Um, well, return to primary

The only thing I could think of is maybe

just I don't know just try doing around

They uh they have gaming servers that

you can use uh just to you know to play

the games that you would like to play.

But yeah, it's it's I'm I'm sorry if I

gave you the impression that it was a

free service. It is a paid service. I

mean it's not it's not terribly

expensive. I mean granted you know

things being considered cheap or

expensive is all relative to the

individual. But uh let's see. Gend I

think at the cheapest it's like what

eight bucks a month or something like

that or 10 bucks a month. Uh, let's see.

Hold on. See if we can bring up the

price sheet here. Uh, yeah, free basic

rig ad supported. Um, so yeah, you have

to wait. It's the longest Q times. You

only get one hour per session. So, I

guess you could log out and then log

back in. But, you know how an hour in

gaming goes. It's like, all right, let

me log in and then poof, an hour goes

by. But, uh, yeah. So, yeah, performance

is 10 bucks a month and ultimate is 20

bucks a month. Uh, it just depends on

what kind of quality or like performance

level you want. But uh I mean 10 bucks a

month is not bad. Think about how much a

you know even like a mid-tier gaming PC

would cost you probably about what like

1,500 bucks. So you know for something

that would give you comparable

performance for only 10 bucks a month if

it works well for you. That's not a bad

deal. Yeah. It's just uh it's just they

have a free they have a free tier. But

that's mostly just to see if it actually

works for you or not.

Yeah. So uh yeah. Avalanche says they do

have a free tier but the wait list is

long. I've I've used ultimate. I think I

actually still have an ultimate sub

because you know I did some sponsored

work for him. But uh it works. Like I

said, it actually works surprisingly

well. There there were a couple games

that didn't run very well. Um but uh I

think one of the SN I think it was one

of those zombie army games didn't run

very well for me, but a lot of the other

games did. Even even ones that have like

you know you have to have really good

timing like time based puzzles. Uh it

seemed to work pretty

well. Uh you can't eat out anywhere for

that really these days. 10 bucks is

nothing sadly. Yeah, just like I said,

expensive or cheap is relative to the

individual, but uh yeah, 10 bucks a

month for what is effectively like kind

of like a mid-tier gaming PC to rent is

not bad. Um, so all

right, you can type the next base point

GFN if you're going to sign up for that

and use my referral

link. But, uh, yeah, I used to I tried a

different service called Shadow many

years ago and that was kind of like a

precursor to what we have now. I think

Shadow still exists, but uh I have to be

honest, GFN is better. Shadow is nice if

you want total control over the game

server that you're using or the virtual

server that you're using, whereas GFN is

kind of a more curated experience. But

uh yeah, I I'll never forget the time I

tried cloud-based gaming. I I was I was

logged into basically it was like this u

this box that had a you know USB port

and a network port. I had a monitor, a

keyboard, and mouse plugged in. There

was no computer and I was playing space

games with no computer. I was like,

"This is mind-blowing." Of course, that

was back in I want to say 2016 or 2017.

So, yeah, it was a it was a company

actually flew me out to San Jose to to

do a demo of it, which is pretty

nice. Except the flight back was really

miserable because uh there was a delay

and I missed my connecting flight, not

not through my own fault and ended up

taking me something like 20 21 hours to

get home from from San Jose back to at

the time Washington DC. Yeah, it took

something like over 20 hours to get home

and it was it was that's why I don't

take connecting flights. If as long as I

can take a flight without a connecting

flight, I'll be there. But they're like,

"No, no, you got to take a connecting

flight." It's like, nah, I'm

good. It's not worth the misery of

getting stranded at an airport for 8

hours. Okay. All right. Well, we're

fly me somewhere, you know, if they

like, "Hey, come visit our office so you

can check out this game or product or

whatever," I'm like, "Yeah, sure." And

they're willing to pay for the flight, I

tell them. It's like, "Yeah, it has to

be a non-stop. I'm not willing to take

connecting flights. It's just it's just

not worth my time." And I don't want to

sound like, you know, upy douchy guy or

whatever. It's just literally not worth

my time to have a missed flight and then

miss everything anyways and be stuck in

an airport somewhere. Yuck. I've just

I've it's it's one of those things where

it's like I've been there, done that. I

just Yeah. Now, I've also kind of done

the thing where I've actually given up

my seat on planes. You know, they

overbook a flight because of course uh

and they ask for volunteers. And what

they do is they they they offer vouchers

and sometimes they'll have like a

bidding system or whatever that you can,

you know, you can wait. They'll be like,

"Hey, well, if anyone's willing to give

up their seat, we'll get you on the next

flight plus a $100 flight voucher." And

people are like, "No." Like, "Okay,

well, anyone take one at $200 voucher?"

It's like it's like how about three or

400. It's like now we're talking because

that's that's basically a free flight

for your next trip. So, and I' I've done

that probably three four times in my

life. Yeah. You just, you know, you give

up your seat and say, "Hey, uh what what

what are you offering as a flight

voucher?" God, I'm trying to remember. I

think the best flight voucher I ever got

was like 700 600 maybe. And so, yeah.

And that was good enough to for like

taking almost two flights. So, uh, yeah,

but again, you just you never know when

the next flight is going to be until

they tell you. Or you can, you know,

look it up and, uh, I think the longest

I had to wait after giving up a seat was

something like, yeah, like 6 hours. But

yeah, I I I basically got a free

roundtrip flight out of those six hours

and it was worth it. Yeah, getting stuck

in an airport for say eight hours just

because you missed your flight and it

it kind of delves into the concept of

basically an underwater horror game that

deals with a few difficult

topics. Yeah. Hold on. I wonder how

fun game in in that in it explores a lot

of sci-fi topics, but yeah, there

there's some there's some genuinely

depressing stuff with that game.

up. But yeah, I I highly recommend

anyone to play it. Like I said,

especially the concept of if you're

interested in the concepts of like

cloning and like what that really means

and some other
