3 Instagram Automations To Sell Digital Products (ON AUTOPILOT)

I've used Instagram automations over the
last few years and been able to generate
hundreds and hundreds of thousands of
dollars and been able to sell anything
from a few dollars to something over
$10,000 all through the DMs 100%
automated. My favorite thing about the
automations I'm about to show you are
you're going to be able to set them up
once and then they're going to generate
you a few more sales each and every day
for ever. So, the first automation is
something that's rather new. Actually,
Instagram has recently allowed you to
reach out to your new followers. So,
this is our new
follower
automation.
And what the new follower automation
does is it reaches out to the new
follower and presents them your offer.
Because when someone's new to your
world, letting them know about your
thing is super super helpful. So, what
happens is when someone follows, right,
they follow
using a tool like ManyHat, we're going
to reach out and say something like,
"Hey, thanks for the follow. I have
something super helpful for you. Do you
want me to send it over?" Something
along those lines. And then from there,
they'll say like, "Yes, send it over."
They'll just click the button. You can
tell them about your product. So, you
send over your product plus maybe a
discount code if you want. I think a
discount's really great. someone's brand
new to you, they're kind of on the
fence, they just consume some of your
content. A really great way to get them
to take action is giving them an
incentive to do that. So, some simple
discount, $5 off, $10 off, anywhere up
to 50% off depending on what your offer
is, is a really great way to inspire
someone to take action. So, we have two
messages right now. We have the, "Hey,
thanks for the follow," and then here is
my product with a discount code. What I
like to do is send a third and final
message about an hour after that second
one happens and just send them over to
the YouTube channel where they can see
more free content and get more into my
world. So, if they don't know about your
YouTube channel, what I normally say is,
"Hey, I don't know if you know I have a
YouTube channel where I show how to and
then insert whatever you do. I have a
bunch of free videos on whatever. Here's
a link to check it out." And then you
just drop the link to your YouTube. So,
we got another arrow here and then we
just got YouTube. So, this automation is
broken down into three parts. The
follow, hey, thanks for following. The
second part, hey, I thought you find
this product useful. Here's a discount
code. And then third and final, we'll
use red for this cuz YouTube is red.
Just go over and check out my YouTube
channel. So, this is just maximizing a
new follower and letting them know about
your world. First of all, just showing
appreciation for them following you is a
great way to get started. And then you
can just say, "Hey, I have this thing
that I think you'd find helpful. Do you
want me to send it over?" And you only
send it over if they actually want it.
So, they'll have to say yes. And then if
they do, you say, "Hey, this is the
thing that I have. Here's a little
discount for following." And then third,
you just send them over to YouTube. That
way, they can be bought into your
ecosystem. because we all know people
that spend more time watching your
content turn into long-term followers,
but they also turn into buyers. So, that
is one of my favorite automations. By
the way, if you do want the exact

don't already have that. It's like the
greatest Instagram tool ever. So, I'll
have both of those resources linked down
below. But on to the second automation.
And the second automation is video
plus bump product.
Now what this automation does is you've
probably seen people make an Instagram
reel or Instagram story saying showing
something and say, "Hey, do you want a
more in-depth breakdown of what I just
talked about? Comment the word video and
I'll send it over." So that's really
great and I think people do that pretty
well. The thing that actually works
better is still sending them that video
and getting them over to your YouTube
channel, but then just a few minutes
later letting them know about the
additional resource that goes along with
it, aka your product, and letting them
know that they can grab it. So, it's
just awareness to the product cuz that's
probably what the YouTube video does
anyways. So, this one works really well
because in your content, you can give
something away for free, your YouTube
video. Comment the word video and I'll
send you a more in-depth video showing
you exactly how I do it. In that video,
you probably do use your product or
allude to it at least in some way. But
then on the back end on Instagram, you
send them that product that's attached
to that to go deeper. And this is
something that's really great with
automations is you always want to build
your automations in a way that is
authentic and not super spammy. And this
is just a kind of off-hand comment. You
already gave them the video. You already
gave them what they came for. just
saying, "Hey, if you want more help
doing it, I built this product for it."
And then that way it's not super salesy
like you got to buy it. And tricking
people into automations. I see that
happen a lot on Instagram. People kind
of promise something on the front end of
like, "Hey, comment. I'll send you
this." And then on the back end, it's
just a paid product and you kind of
implied that it was free. versus this is
letting them see that free video and get
help, but then just including the tool
that will help them do something faster,
better, more simple as a friendly
suggestion. Those two automations are
bread and butter. If you're not already
running those automations in your
Instagram, you absolutely need to be
doing it because you're missing out on
so many sales this way. Now, the third
one is a little bit more fun approach
and it's doing a giveaway automation.
Giveaway.
And what this is is basically saying,
"Hey, I'm giving away one of my digital
products. You could do, you know, a huge
discount or you could just be giving it
away for free." And what you do is you
have the automation basically have
people enter and then you can set what
percentage of people actually win the
free thing. Now, the trick with this
automation is it isn't in the one
winner, it's in the 99 losers. Because
what you do is obviously one person
actually wins out of a hundred, but what
you do to the 99 that don't win, you
say, "Hey, unfortunately you didn't win
the whole free product, but for
entering, here's a discount code." And
then you link them to the product. So,
the real magic sauce here isn't actually
the giveaway to the one person. It's the
awareness you get behind it and getting
people hyped up and then letting them
know, hey, you either won and you get
the amazing thing. Amazing. But more
realistically, the vast majority of
people won't be winners, but they will
be winners because you give them some
kind of discount. This is a really
amazing automation because it's really
easy to get people to take that next
action. This could be a simple story
post, right? Hey, I'm giving something
away for free. Comment the word giveaway
and you'll be entered. Boom. Everyone
does that because why would you not want
something for free? Especially if you're
talking to the right audience, which on
your story should be the right audience.
Then obviously a small percentage of
people will win, but the vast majority
of people will lose, but they'll win a
discount code. And you win every single
time because it's just awareness to your
product and you're helping people out.
So you're either giving something away
for free or you're giving a discount
code on a product that is out. This
works really well with like a product
launch when you just release something
new that's exciting that you know a vast
majority of your audience doesn't have
already. But you can do this from time
to time just for fun. I rank these
automations in the order I find
valuable. So that new follower
automation is incredibly valuable,
especially if you're running follower
ads. Basically, if you don't know what
that is, it's spending money on
Instagram to get new followers. That
way, you can basically get new followers
and convert sales at the same time. The
second one's so valuable when you just
have an already existing audience or
you're creating content to get people
over to your other channels like YouTube
and then just attaching a product to it.
And the third and final one is really
great when you launch a product. I would
go through and implement all three of
these automations into your digital
product business if you want to generate
more sales without doing more work. And
