Stop overthinking! | Mel Robbins #Shorts
FULL TRANSCRIPT
hey it's your friend Mel and if you
struggle with overthinking like I used
to struggle with overthinking you got to
stop constantly talking about or
thinking about or worrying about your
problems because talking and thinking
about what's wrong it actually makes
your problems bigger and it makes you
feel smaller and it makes them seem more
serious in fact rumination which is
dwelling on what's wrong is a symptom of
depression so you got to take this
seriously the fact is you always have
power in any situation based on your
attitude and your actions you can
improve things by what you think and do
and one of the most important things to
improve is not allowing yourself to
think about your problems interrupt that
stuff and here's how I do it I just do
something physical if I catch myself
ruminating or worrying or stressing or
talking about it I just get out the door
I go for a walk I run an errand doing
something physical interrupts the mental
and that will give you a moment of
control to choose what you think about
