0:00

well that's it what is probably the

0:02

final debate of the presidential cycle

0:05

in 2024 has just occurred between JD

0:08

Vance and Tim Walls and I have to say JD

0:13

Vance is really slick at speaking he's

0:16

clearly a master debater so really

0:20

impressive and that's not to try to

0:23

start this out bias I'm just saying I

0:25

think anybody whether you're a Democrat

0:26

or Republican you watch this you're like

0:28

ah Tim's kind of like you know your

0:31

grandpa who going to come over and kind

0:32

of like grab you on the shoulder and be

0:34

like come here Jimmy how can how how can

0:37

I help you out you know and jie V is

0:41

like my son Timmy we're going to help

0:44

you out in the following three ways

0:47

first it's like it is it is such an

0:50

incredibly different environment between

0:53

these two but I mean look let's be real

0:55

do we really think the outcome of this

0:57

election is going to change

0:59

substantially as result of what we saw

1:01

here tonight no but we did get a little

1:03

bit of some policy hints and some fact

1:06

checking so it's worth touching on these

1:08

so let's run through those also quickly

1:10

worth noting that if you look at Bitcoin

1:13

Bitcoin actually started right about

1:15

here under

1:16

61,000 and it ran right up to my next

1:20

resistance line through the debate which

1:23

in my opinion suggest Bitcoin pricing in

1:26

a bit more of Advance win on this debate

1:30

though I did notice that the betting

1:32

markets didn't actually move that much

1:35

at all from this so again while we'll

1:37

get some commentary from both sides I

1:40

don't really think we saw much of a move

1:42

over here I do think maybe we saw one

1:45

penny up on Trump and one penny down on

1:48

Harris in the uh predicted odds maybe

1:51

although this barely fluctuates on a

1:54

regular basis uh that's predicted. org

1:57

and if you look at Poly Market which is

1:59

the crypto back uh betting a market you

2:02

didn't really have much of a movement

2:04

here and you've got substantially closer

2:06

of a race between the two so with that

2:09

said let's hit some of the facts the

2:12

debate begins on Iran and the question

2:15

is would you support a preemptive strike

2:18

on Iran and walls talks about how

2:20

important it is to expand our

2:22

relationship with is proxies and the

2:25

first slam he takes is like his second

2:27

sentence which is when he calls Donald

2:29

Trump an 80-year-old and we don't need

2:31

an 80-year-old making decisions now this

2:35

I thought was interesting because it's

2:36

almost kind of like they're trying to

2:38

weaponize Walls by the way is 60 they're

2:40

trying to weaponize the Biden age

2:43

problem and turn it now against Trump uh

2:46

anyway uh walls does talk about prior

2:49

staff from Donald Trump saying Trump

2:50

should be nowhere near the White House

2:52

Donald Trump actually responds to that

2:54

and says yes some people do say that but

2:56

they were that's because they were fired

2:58

for example look at Mark esper he was

3:00

secretary of defense for a bit over a

3:01

year and then he got fired uh so you

3:06

know not so much of a surprise we always

3:07

know that Trump has a little bit of

3:09

contention with with some folks that he

3:11

ends up appointing or hiring and this is

3:13

something he actually brought up in the

3:14

last debate where he says yeah well if

3:16

somebody does a bad job I fire them and

3:18

he actually tried to draw that parallel

3:21

uh or contrast rather to Harris where he

3:23

says you know I don't keep bad workers I

3:25

fire them all right so uh then uh Vance

3:29

talks about the American dream bringing

3:31

the American dream back Vance talks

3:33

about Iran taking money uh from the

3:36

United States under the Biden

3:37

Administration it's worth noting that

3:39

yes some Iranian assets like $16 billion

3:43

of which were unfrozen for some period

3:45

of time these were Iranian assets so

3:47

it's not like money that went from us to

3:48

them it was their own money uh how and

3:50

and some of that about $6 billion of

3:52

that was later refrozen because of

3:54

Iran's volatility but yeah it's possible

3:56

some of those frozen assets that were

3:57

unfrozen were used to

4:00

quite frankly uh produce or manufacture

4:02

some of the missiles that we're seeing

4:03

now or some of the drones that are being

4:05

sold to Russia in the war against

4:07

Ukraine uh Vance finally hits what I

4:10

think is one of the most important

4:11

topics of this debate uh and quite

4:14

frankly it's something that Donald Trump

4:15

should be talking about a lot more and

4:17

Vance finally brought the point home it

4:20

is that this Friday at 11:59 p.m. the

4:22

prices go up on the courses on building

4:24

your wealth so if you're looking for

this video go to meetkevin.com to learn

4:45

more about those if you have questions

4:47

email us at staff meetkevin.com or email

4:49

us for bundle coupons with that out of

4:52

the way actually Donald Trump finally

4:55

had a big highlighter put through his

4:58

stability now I put that in quotes

5:00

because that is exactly what Vance

5:02

argued he argued that Donald Trump

5:04

brought stability that KLA Harris has

5:07

been vice president for three and a half

5:08

years and we've had a lot of instability

5:10

from Afghanistan to Ukraine to Israel to

5:13

the Red Sea and really you didn't have

5:16

any new Wars under Donald Trump this is

5:18

one of the best arguments you could

5:20

possibly start with for the Trump

5:22

Administration and I got to give JD

5:24

Vance credit for this because that's

5:25

exactly what you should start with it is

5:27

one of Donald Trump's strongest

5:30

points that he could possibly make and

5:32

Donald Trump doesn't actually make that

5:33

point as much as he should now uh JD

5:36

Vance uh does say uh uh you know he sort

5:39

of rhetorically asked well when did Iran

5:41

and Hamas attack oh during the Harris

5:43

Administration so really trying to dig

5:46

in there for some reason we don't spend

5:48

more time on geopolitics or like the

5:50

port strikes which don't even come up

5:51

instead we go into climate change which

5:54

then there's discuss this sort of like

5:55

argument over like who's polluting more

5:58

uh look let's just put that issue to

6:00

rest uh everybody like all major

6:03

countries with major populations are

6:04

polluting but I think the easiest way to

6:06

just put this to rest is just look at

6:08

the chart and look at your own see it

6:11

with your own eyes the United States is

6:14

polluting less as in it's sort of

6:16

shrinking in its level of of uh

6:19

emissions growth its emissions growth is

6:22

plummeting as its emissions remain

6:24

relatively stable and begin to decline

6:27

in growth the same is true for the EU

6:30

but it's really China and India that are

6:32

starting to see this sort of explosive

6:34

emissions growth and so van strikes this

6:37

argument of hey we should be in a

6:40

position where we're punishing China and

6:43

India by not supporting those polluters

6:46

why don't we make more in America later

6:49

there's actually an argument that comes

6:51

up that you know uh van suggests that

6:54

walls wants us to buy more Chinese solar

6:56

panels This is actually incorrect the

6:58

inflation reduction C act really only

7:01

provides subsidies for products

7:03

manufactured in the United States but JD

7:06

Vance realizes this and then comes back

7:09

and says well I mean some components are

7:11

made in China ah okay all right all

7:14

right he tried to pick that up he tried

7:15

to pick that up walls talks about

7:17

producing more clean natural gas and oil

7:20

and clean energy than ever before Vance

7:22

sort of questions this whole clean

7:24

energy thing he's trying to you know

7:25

play the anti uh Green New Deal aspects

7:28

here not so so much substance here on

7:30

the border they're both asked would you

7:32

Deport the parents of children born here

7:35

of course both of them ignore that uh

7:37

Vance talks about how uh kamla Harris

7:40

wanted to undo Trump policies and then

7:42

therefore open the floodgates to

7:44

Fentanyl and illegal migrants uh then

7:46

there's this sort of like debate that

7:48

comes up about uh uh temporary protected

7:51

status in America it's worth noting when

7:53

they talk about the Haitian migrants

7:55

that are in Springfield Ohio which

7:57

apparently there are like 15,000 of them

7:59

there and the area only has a population

8:02

of like 60,000 so it's like one in what

8:04

four people or Haitian migrants

8:06

apparently now whatever the point of

8:08

this is those Haitian migrants were just

8:12

granted an extension of the temporary

8:14

protective status by the Biden

8:15

Administration I'm adding this in right

8:17

this didn't come up in the debate they

8:19

were granted an extension through 2026

8:21

so yes you do have Asylum Seekers from

8:24

whether it's Haiti or Venezuela you know

8:26

400,000 Venezuelans you know many many

8:29

thousands of Haitians or whatever that

8:31

are getting asylum in America and they

8:34

are eligible to stay here on a basis

8:36

where that sort of you continue to get

8:38

this renewed and renewed and renewed

8:40

Asylum uh on this idea that hey we'll

8:43

just let you be here for now and we'll

8:45

figure it out later for in terms of like

8:47

dealing with it Vance has an interesting

8:49

solution He suggests look for everybody

8:51

who's here illegally let's start with

8:54

the people who committed crimes after

8:56

coming here like Beyond being here

8:58

illegally who are the criminals let's

9:00

get rid of those people first it's an

9:03

interesting idea and I I think most

9:05

people would actually agree with that

9:06

suggestion uh Vance is a big fan of

9:09

implementing deportations and uh

9:10

building the wall uh walls argues look

9:14

we tried to pass a bill to fix this uh

9:17

and Donald Trump tanked it okay yes

9:19

Donald Trump did tank the Border Bill

9:21

Republicans say well there were problems

9:23

in that anyway but then other

9:24

Republicans are like yeah no no no

9:25

Donald Trump definitely did Kill The

9:27

Border Bill to you know give himself

9:30

political leverage so even Republicans

9:31

admit that however what is interesting

9:34

and nobody brings this up but the Harris

9:36

admin well the Biden Administration

9:38

actually implemented one of Donald

9:40

Trump's executive orders to limit the

9:42

number of Asylum Seekers that are

9:43

eligible to come into the United States

9:46

uh and you won't like once that limit is

9:48

reached you don't reopen that until

9:50

border crossings fall below like, 1500

9:53

as sort of like an on andof toggle and

9:56

that was a trump executive order that he

9:58

went to court for uh and and lost in

10:01

some cases and the Biden Administration

10:03

tweaked it and is now using basically a

10:05

trump executive order to do the same

10:07

thing Trump was doing now one of the

10:09

most egregious claims was when uh wall

10:13

suggests that uh we've had uh a fewer

10:16

border crossings now than uh when Trump

10:20

was president that is just laughably

10:23

false I mean you could really look at

10:26

any uh statistics here on When Donald

10:29

Trump left office which is like right

10:30

here and you can see expulsions in

10:33

admissi apprehensions everything is

10:36

through the roof right now expulsions

10:40

actually dropped off when title 42 ended

10:42

so now you're just left with

10:52

inadmissable under Biden but honestly

10:55

I'm kind of at the place where I'm just

10:57

sort of like I don't really know what to

10:58

believe anymore I just there's a giant

10:59

border problem but then you get this

11:01

sort of other problem where walls tries

11:03

to argue that Trump only Built 2% of the

11:06

wall uh no that's not correct Donald

11:08

Trump built 452 miles of wall which is

11:14

about 23% of the total distance of the

11:17

US Mexico border which is about 1954 mil

11:20

long however only 699 miles of that are

11:24

actually land the rest is the Rio Grande

11:27

so that means 452 miles represent

11:31

roughly 65% of the land distance between

11:34

the US Mexico border or on the US Mexico

11:36

border had new Trump wall built on it

11:39

now yes there were some existing fences

11:42

and walls in a lot of those areas and so

11:45

yes only 80 Mi of new barriers were

11:48

built but even if you said 80 Mi divided

11:51

by that 2,000 M border which includes

11:55

like 1,300 M of river that's 4% not not

11:59

2% Mr woles I see where he's going with

12:02

it though I think it's highly misleading

12:04

though so I I I didn't love that though

12:06

Vance also makes this misleading Claim

12:08

about the Department of Homeland

12:09

Security losing 300,000 children yes the

12:12

Department of Homeland Security did

12:13

release a document saying hey like we've

12:16

kind of lost track of like 300,000

12:18

children people under 18 like are they

12:22

coming to a court appointment where are

12:23

they where are they living right now

12:25

where are they staying what's their

12:26

residence and yes it is possible that

12:29

these people could end up getting

12:31

trafficked which is very bad and

12:32

terrible and sad however the reality is

12:35

most of these people are

12:37

probably 15 16 17y old dudes uh they're

12:41

not like 5-year-old kids that are like

12:42

where's my mommy uh and there's some

12:45

estimates that put that somewhere around

12:47

84% so like most 16-year-olds you can

12:50

you can get by okay you can survive a

12:53

six-year-old can't uh so you know I I

12:56

just want I like to draw that because

12:58

I'm not saying it's good that the DHS

13:01

lost track of I'm just saying it it's

13:02

not as bad as it sounds when you say

13:05

they lost 300,000 children like it

13:07

sounds like you just lost a school of

13:08

preschoolers you know it like it it's

13:11

just political extremism but that's okay

13:13

both sides do it they all do it and

13:15

that's why we're here to try to clear it

13:16

up uh I did I mean I'm not going to fact

13:19

check this but I thought it was funny

13:20

when Vance is like I've been to the

13:21

Border more that our borders are KLA

13:23

Harris all right uh you know walls kind

13:26

of keep circling back to oh we need a

13:28

build h handle this we need a bill to

13:30

handle this okay and then uh that's

13:33

walls who says that and then Vance is

13:35

like the pain will stop when Trump is

13:37

back uh talking about food prices and

13:40

inflation blah blah blah keep in mind

13:42

you probably would have honestly had

13:44

inflation under Trump as well Trump

13:46

probably wouldn't have passed the chips

13:48

act the inflation reduction act and uh

13:52

$1,400 stimulus check package though so

13:54

all three of those things did probably

13:58

add fuel to the inflationary fire

14:00

because even though it's called the

14:01

inflation reduction act most of that

14:03

reduction won't actually be seen for

14:05

years

14:08

afterwards okay uh then uh H tax cuts

14:12

yeah let's hit that I I want to shout

14:14

out by the way Mastermind this weekend

14:15

meetkevin.com Mastermind we might be

14:18

full for this one uh and if you want to

14:20

Shadow me to look at some of the real

14:21

estate we're buying we do have some

14:23

shadowing uh spots left for next Tuesday

14:25

if you're interested in that staff at

14:27

Meek heaven.com uh okay so 29 million

14:31

Americans it's worth noting had their

14:33

tax returns simplified by the tax cut

14:35

and jobs act thanks to the expanded

14:38

standard deduction the corporate tax

14:40

rate was cut to 21% so most people who

14:42

own stocks probably got a benefit out of

14:45

the tax cuts and jobs act so a lot of

14:47

people like to say oh Donald Trump only

14:49

Cuts taxes for billionaires and it's

14:51

true those in like the the highest

14:54

income paying brackets probably saved

14:56

the most but that's because they also

14:59

pay the most in taxes so I don't love

15:02

this idea of like walls going I'm a

15:05

union guy you know if you want to give

15:07

billionaires tax breaks Trump is your

15:09

guy it gives a lot of people tax breaks

15:13

uh you know yes the bottom like

15:15

40% uh uh you know maybe have only

15:17

benefited up to maybe 500 bucks but it

15:20

does

15:21

imply that uh that that the upper

15:23

threshold that is like maybe the upper

15:25

half of America uh did receive

15:29

substantial tax benefits in addition to

15:31

the corporate tax rate being cut so

15:33

we'll see but anyway uh walls really

15:36

gets screwed when he tries to to like

15:39

explain the discrepancy in his military

15:41

record he goes into talking about how

15:43

he's a middle class guy and he gets

15:45

really awkward here he's really bad like

15:47

I'm surprised he wasn't like trained or

15:49

prepped on this it should have been

15:51

really obvious that this was coming it

15:53

just didn't look good again I don't

15:54

think it really matters but it it

15:56

definitely didn't look good uh know then

15:59

Vance is asked about uh Trump and his

16:01

criticisms in the past of course he says

16:03

well the media lied to me we actually

16:05

had that on our bingo card if you want

16:06

to see how the bingo card ended up

16:08

really quick it's right here we got

16:10

Bingo on someone's mic is muted abortion

16:13

comes up they show up moderators fact

16:15

check JD Moore and hurricane relief

16:18

comes up crypto does not come up was

16:20

correct uh we did get JD rushing walls

16:24

at the end for handshake uh uh W

16:26

handshake uh JD gets the jump and and

16:29

rushes walls yeah exactly walls brings

16:31

up 20 project 2025 walls reminds

16:34

everyone he's a gun owner JD says I grew

16:37

up either in the sticks or middle class

16:38

or basically working class so we took

16:40

that one uh walls tries to hammer JD on

16:43

Trump

16:44

criticisms

16:45

uh and then of course yeah I think that

16:49

that about covers that okay that was

16:52

bingo so then we get into abortion walls

16:55

talks about just wait for the project

16:56

2025 registry okay we've talked about

16:58

this times Donald Trump has distanced

17:00

himself from 2025 project 2025 but

17:03

Democrats regularly bring it up okay

17:05

fine van says no we're not going to

17:06

create a registry we want to make it

17:08

easier for people to afford to have kids

17:10

a home and access to fertility treatment

17:13

and then sort of like a debate ensues

17:14

about whether or not certain individuals

17:17

were denied care you know should ha

17:20

Catholic Hospitals be forced to provide

17:22

abortion like there these like really

17:24

Nuance things that honestly I don't

17:25

think is worth spending ter terribly

17:27

much time on I just like personally

17:29

clarify that uh you know I've I've I'm

17:32

trying to be as balanced as possible

17:34

here and I think I've done some

17:35

factchecking more on one side than the

17:37

other I'm going to try to balance it

17:38

just by I got to give a little more of a

17:40

fact check here to Trump we brought this

17:41

up earlier as well as usual Donald Trump

17:44

tweets that you know basically I can't

17:46

believe there are radical Democrats that

17:48

are doing abortions in the 7th 8th or

17:50

9th month no that is not happening those

17:53

things only happen if the child is going

17:55

to die and therefore potentially kill

17:58

the mother or create some kind of

18:00

medical emergency that doesn't happen

18:02

and then this idea about executing a

18:04

baby after birth this is again it's just

18:07

it's it's a it's look some children are

18:09

born and they are viable for a few hours

18:12

but they have chromosomal chromosomal

18:14

chromosomal my goodness abnormalities

18:17

and they're going to die they will not

18:19

survive they will die so yes there have

18:23

been quotes about this Governor talking

18:24

about we try to make the child

18:25

comfortable it's been way taken out of

18:27

context it totally has a reference to do

18:30

with children that are going to die

18:31

anyway it is the most terrible thing

18:33

ever I have seven children and I I just

18:35

I hate this kind of stuff I hate even

18:37

talking about it because it's just

18:38

terrible to think about nobody wants to

18:40

see a child die but I just want to

18:41

clarify this because like honestly I I

18:44

personally sometimes when I listen to

18:46

Trump uh speak or or when he writes this

18:49

kind of stuff I I just wish we could get

18:51

like a little bit more in the middle

18:54

like a little bit more rational with

18:56

some of these things because this stuff

18:57

just pisses me off because it's just

18:59

it's like it's Looney you know

19:01

California doesn't for example

19:02

California is one of your most liberal

19:03

states when it comes to abortion you

19:05

can't have an abortion after fetal

19:07

viability uh you know and and I've been

19:10

for a very long time in the niku with

19:13

babies I love all of the babies many B

19:16

give me all the babies I'm a big fan of

19:18

babies I want more children actually uh

19:20

but anyway this topic for a different

19:21

thing H just frustrating but anyway uh

19:25

on guns uh walls brings up this idea of

19:27

hey kids should just be kids why do we

19:29

have this problem it comes down to the

19:31

guns Vans is like no there are me mental

19:34

health problems we have higher rates of

19:36

depression and anxiety than anywhere

19:37

else in the world we have a mental

19:39

health crisis wall says well just

19:41

because you have a mental health crisis

19:42

doesn't mean that you know uh mental

19:46

health people are violent uh they uh uh

19:49

you know it's the problem is they have

19:51

access to guns you know this turns into

19:53

sort of a gun debate um look I do think

19:56

mental health is a problem I mean so

19:58

what I did on this is I just looked up

20:00

the share of population with mental

20:02

health disorders and I mean I have to

20:04

give it to to the mental health argument

20:07

you know United States is pretty damn

20:09

red okay we're as red as freaking

20:11

Greenland and

20:13

Australia Spain Portugal and Iran dude

20:18

we're as red as Iran when it comes to

20:20

mental health disorders I think there's

20:22

a guy over there named

20:25

Kami uh some Ayatollah or whatever he he

20:27

might qualify as one of the people on

20:29

that list uh anyway I thought this was

20:32

kind of interesting I don't know you

20:34

know mental health argument like like

20:36

who else we got over there Syria where's

20:39

Israel Israel the Israelis have like a

20:42

quarter fewer mental health problems per

20:44

100 people than we do the Israelis with

20:48

with the Iron Dome and bombs going off

20:50

in their backyards they have fewer

20:52

mental health problems per capita than

20:55

America let that sink in oh jeez man a

21:01

maybe we maybe that's the problem we

21:03

don't have enough problems in

21:06

America there's no common enemy so so

21:09

you become your own ene I don't know

21:11

anyway on housing uh you know walls

21:14

talks about we're not just going to hand

21:15

out money we're going to make housing

21:16

more affordable nobody actually has a

21:18

clear plan on this they talk about tax

21:20

credits down payment assistance look

21:21

it's going to make housing more

21:22

unaffordable yes a a current home buyer

21:25

could benefit with a down payment

21:26

assistance program but it's just is

21:28

going to increase the prices of homes

21:30

for everybody else down the road so

21:31

generally not an economically sound

21:33

principle but it does help buy

21:36

votes uh Vance says hey if you stopped

21:39

letting illegals in you wouldn't drive

21:41

up home prices as much oh and by the way

21:43

if we opened up to more American Energy

21:46

you know Keystone Pipeline talk or

21:47

whatever maybe it would be cheaper to

21:49

build things like houses because you

21:51

could ship stuff cheaper It's actually

21:52

an interesting argument I I thought that

21:54

was actually pretty good uh vans

21:57

reiterates that we're going to cover

21:58

pre-existing conditions uh on uh Health

22:03

insurances talked about inflation uh

22:06

both of them touched on paid leave and

22:08

being open to a debate on paid leave

22:11

nobody really gave a time frame in terms

22:13

of how long that should be uh let's see

22:16

here Vance clarifies that Trump how is

22:20

threat how is Trump a threat to

22:22

democracy when he peacefully Gave Over

22:24

power to Biden on January 20th that's

22:26

true he did do that uh

22:29

walls finishes with we don't agree on

22:31

everyone but we have optimistic people

22:32

on our side including Dick Cheney Taylor

22:34

Swift and others we're going to create

22:35

an opportunity economy uh Vance made it

22:38

clear he'll stand with the Trump agenda

22:40

Harris gives us a different option

22:42

Harris is bringing the politics of Joy

22:44

all we have to fear is fear itself then

22:47

I mean honestly they are running a very

22:48

different campaign right you know Trump

22:50

it's usually everything's crap and with

22:52

Harris it's like we're going to make it

22:53

better the I was actually hoping Trump

22:56

would kind of take some of the like the

22:58

hope POV he has not uh Vance's final

23:02

statement talks about crime and drugs

23:04

are getting worse due to Harris Harris's

23:06

policies make this worse we need change

23:08

someone with the experience who can get

23:10

this done vote for

23:11

Trump all right so there's your uh

23:13

full-on summary appreciate yall hanging
