Sam Bankman Fried JUST Sent to JAIL!!!

well it looks like the good old fraud

Sam bankman freed may be going to jail

this is information just now breaking

that apparently uh we've got a court

trial that just uh or uh court hearing

that just began a couple hours ago but

the information is just now dripping

through that the judge is sent now to

revoke Sam bankman Freed's uh basically

home detention uh as opposed to is

basically his bail as opposed to being

in jail until his trial now usually when

you get charged with a crime you have

the right to a speedy trial so you don't

have to sit in jail for seven months or

eight months while you await your trial

but generally what prosecutors and uh

defense attorneys agree on is some sort

of agreement that says hey uh the person

can get out on bail they post some kind

of uh you know bail payment or post bond

and then they can they can stay home on

house arrest or otherwise as long as

they adhere to certain terms they don't

leave the country they don't try to

tamper with Witnesses uh or and really

they try to fall follow the rules of the

Court well apparently the rules of the

Court are not being followed yet again

which this is not the first time we've

heard about this with Sam begman free

apparently now what he's doing is he's

using a VPN and an app-like signal to

try to leak documents to the New York

Times to basically bury Carolyn Ellison

as the criminal mastermind behind the

FTX fraud or debacle or whatever we want

to call it I prefer to call it a fraud

because it was a disgrace a lot of

people do buy it including obviously

we've seen football stadiums and

referees walking around in FTX uh

outfits and Garb anyway Carolyn Ellison

in December she settled uh well entered

into a police bargain agreement where

she agreed essentially to a lighter

penalties monetary penalties and uh

potentially sentences which haven't been

revealed yet but she pled her up to

110-year jail sentence down in exchange

for essentially testifying and

supporting the investigation into how

FTX collapsed now though you've got Sam

begman freed trying to bury her

suggesting she's The Mastermind who

knows maybe this is all 4D chest out in

the background that essentially hey

since you got the plea bargain let's

just bury you uh and and get me off the

hooks is potentially what's being

thought of here but if Sam bankman freed

does officially get his bail revoked

which it looks like he is getting his

bail revoked then he'd have to report to

jail now it's very likely that his

defense team will do everything in their

power to get him back out of jail or

move up the trial given that they've

already waived their right to a speedy

trial they're going not to have a lot of

Leverage with the prosecution so the

prosecution could say sorry you waved

your right to a speedy trial just

because you violated the terms of your

house arrest does not mean we have to

now speed up the trial this means

sambangman freed could actually be in

jail without being found guilty at all

we kind of all know what he is without

being found guilty yet for seven months

until the trial would begin in March of

2024 my guess is the trial which I

really hope they public publicize the

trial uh will probably last at least a

month and uh he would be in jail

throughout all of this and then uh when

and if he is found guilty which we

expect he will be then he would just

report right back to jail so uh it's

almost like an extension of his sentence

to now but then again why is he

potentially trying to shape messaging

well according to the judge he's trying

to influence potential jurors to make it

seem like Carolyn was the real

Mastermind remember who's got that plea

bargain and that he was just an innocent

bystander and if he could get the

mainstream media saying nice things

about him versus everybody else at the

company he hopes he could get a lighter

sentence what's your take on all of this

pretty crazy and it will be one heck of

a sight to see Sam begman freed walking

into jail in cuffs potentially as soon
