0:00

the former president of Russia is

0:02

predicting World War IV that Texas will

0:05

secede from the union that Americans

0:07

will finally be able to kick

0:09

Californians butt in a civil war and

0:11

that France and Germany will go to war

0:13

together there are so many wars that are

0:16

being predicted it almost feels like a

0:18

parody As the former president of Russia

0:21

Dimitri Medvedev has a lot of

0:23

predictions for just

0:25

2023. hey quick reminder to check out

0:27

the coupon code expiring today for the

0:29

programs on educational wealth building

0:31

link below so let's buckle up and listen

0:33

to some of these insane and ludicrous

0:37

predictions and add some commentary to

0:39

them here we go welcome aboard to an

0:43

official Russian government account

0:45

Dimitri Medvedev

0:47

it is certainly expressing his law three

0:51

speech on Twitter on New Year's Eve

0:54

everybody's into making predictions many

0:57

come up with futuristic hypotheses as if

1:01

competing to single out the wildest and

1:04

even most absurd ones here's our humble

1:08

contribution what can happen in 2023 all

1:11

right I've killed the accent now all

1:13

right so here's their humble

1:14

contribution to what they think could

1:15

actually happen in 2023. oil prices rise

1:19

to 150 per barrel gas price will top

1:21

five dollars per barrel uh or per uh per

1:24

a thousand cubic meters Okay so

1:26

regarding oil this is actually not that

1:30

far-fetched we previously were sitting

1:33

around highs of around 130 during uh

1:35

some of the uh oil shortages after the

1:38

war with Ukraine it is possible uh

1:42

however it does seem unlikely that oil

1:45

will actually reach 150 however there is

1:48

a big thesis that oil prices will rise

1:50

substantially as China reopens and this

1:53

is one of the reasons as we're seeing

1:54

the market take a pretty good beating in

1:57

in the stocks side of things we're

1:59

actually seeing both natural gas and oil

2:02

rise in fact Brent has gone up about ten

2:05

dollars in just the last 30 days here

2:07

this is your international version of

2:09

oil versus your WTI oil over here which

2:12

is the US version a little bit of a

2:13

spread between the two second prediction

2:15

they make is that the United Kingdom

2:17

will join the European union now this is

2:20

quite a bold prediction given that it

2:22

took years for them to brexit or leave

2:26

the European Union they never adopted

2:29

the Euro or the currency of the European

2:32

Union so given the lack of appetite for

2:36

even adopting the currency when they

2:37

were part of the EU and how long they

2:40

struggled to and finally actually exited

2:42

the EU let's just say I see that as a

2:46

very unlikely flip-flop by the British

2:49

government especially at a time where

2:51

the United Kingdom has a substantially

2:54

larger issues consider for example their

2:56

bond crisis debacle just a few months

2:59

ago when Liz truss who lasted all but

3:02

maybe 44 days one of the biggest flashes

3:05

in the pans of a political career when

3:07

or her government suggested that they

3:09

should stimulate businesses and cut

3:11

taxes so in other words print money and

3:13

cut taxes during a time of massively

3:16

High inflation leading the bond market

3:18

to freak out and the Central Bank of

3:22

Britain to or the bank of England right

3:25

the Central Bank the bank of England

3:26

it's known as coming out to have to

3:28

basically promise unlimited Bond

3:31

bailouts to prevent a collapse of the

3:33

financial system

3:34

in such an environment in such a Tinder

3:37

Box I'm not exactly sure that the United

3:40

Kingdom is prepared for any kind of uh

3:43

political drama anymore so I don't see

3:46

that one happening

3:47

uh as subsequently then a you EU

3:51

collapse might occur after the United

3:53

Kingdom's return and the EU will drop

3:56

out of use as the former EU currency so

4:00

in other words the death of the EU this

4:02

has been speculated oops this has been

4:04

really speculated since uh the EU was

4:07

was founded in the early 2000s and it

4:10

really the EU went through some terrible

4:12

times during the austerity era of uh

4:15

approximately 20 around the 2014 era

4:17

when you had the acronym the pigs

4:20

Portugal Italy Greece and Spain under

4:23

substantial austerity uh and uh and I

4:27

mean you you had stories running daily

4:29

about how these countries uh were so

4:32

poor and that the EU was not supporting

4:35

them because if they supported those

4:36

countries then countries like Germany or

4:40

France more powerful countries would

4:41

deserve more support whereas if Germany

4:44

and France are going through austerity

4:46

then even the poorer Nations should even

4:48

if that means they can't even pay for

4:50

trash service to come collect

4:52

residential trash which was a problem in

4:54

Greece and some of these other countries

4:55

uh my point is the eu's been through

4:59

some pretty nasty times I I don't know

5:02

that at this point

5:03

uh even facing the high inflation the EU

5:06

is and the likelihood of a recession

5:07

we're going to see the collapse of the

5:10

EU so they do seem to be relatively uh

5:13

well uh coordinated at least together in

5:15

in their support for the policies of the

5:18

EU however crazy things do happen in

5:21

recessions and this is going to be the

5:24

eu's second big recession and it happens

5:26

to be at the same time as there's war on

5:29

the border of the European Union right

5:31

so interesting then we've got uh Poland

5:35

and Hungary will occupy the Western

5:38

regions of the formerly existing Ukraine

5:40

now this is actually not so terribly uh

5:44

obscene I I obviously think that Ukraine

5:48

will prevail in the war but I do think

5:50

that Eastern countries within Europe

5:52

will substantially help in the

5:55

rebuilding effort of Ukraine while also

5:58

basically making investments into

6:00

Ukraine right I mean think about it from

6:02

sort of a capitalistic point of view you

6:04

a real estate developer after war ends

6:06

going into Ukraine might be able to buy

6:08

land for pennies on the dollar and uh

6:10

hopefully win in that they rebuild in

6:13

areas that become popular right so that

6:15

sort of capitalistic speculation is

6:17

likely to happen from countries nearby

6:19

Ukraine so that doesn't that actually is

6:21

not that far-fetched

6:23

at the fourth right will be created okay

6:25

so remember the third right was like the

6:28

uh economic and political engine of uh

6:31

the Hitler government in World War II

6:34

the fourth Reich is is kind of

6:36

suggesting there'll be another rise to

6:38

power after the collapse of the EU and

6:40

and often you do have that occur after

6:42

the collapse of a uh you know a large

6:45

power a powerful vacuum is left and

6:47

therefore you have the rise of potential

6:49

a dictate a potentially a dictator or

6:51

some form of fascist leader however

6:54

Dimitri's prediction here is that the

6:57

fourth Reich will be created out of

6:59

Germany Poland the Baltic states

7:01

chechnya uh Slovakia

7:05

Kiev Republic that's interesting this is

7:07

sort of a a redefined Ukraine maybe a

7:11

smaller version and other outcasts now I

7:13

think this is

7:14

an interesting argument given that

7:16

Germany has really strong relations with

7:19

with countries like France and uh yeah

7:23

Switzerland and um Holland you know the

7:27

Netherlands and other countries uh

7:29

bordering Germany so the suggestion that

7:31

Germany would rather than partnering

7:33

with those immediately near it like

7:35

Belgium even and partnering with those

7:37

in Eastern Europe I find a interesting I

7:41

think they're they're suggesting that

7:42

maybe Germany would be powerful enough

7:44

to move into a power vacuum in this

7:46

region after potentially the Russian's

7:49

belief that there will be a fall of

7:50

Ukraine

7:52

however this seems pretty wild as well

7:55

war will break out between France and

7:57

the fourth Reich so this is a little bit

7:58

of a problem because Germany and France

8:00

have substantially increasing trade

8:03

between the two countries uh I feel like

8:05

they're they're more allies than they've

8:07

ever been in the past and both Schultz

8:09

uh Chancellor Schultz and macron from

8:13

France they're kind of like pacifists so

8:16

much so that Germany literally has

8:18

reportedly two days of ammunition NATO

8:22

requires that countries that are part of

8:24

NATO have 30 days of ammunition in the

8:27

event of a war Germany only has two

8:30

they don't even have enough ammunition

8:31

to properly do or conduct military

8:34

drills meanwhile they're sending plenty

8:36

of rockets and defensive weapons over to

8:39

Ukraine but they don't have enough

8:40

ammunition for themselves interesting

8:43

uh so needless to say I I don't think it

8:46

is likely

8:48

that Germany is even capable of engaging

8:51

in a war at this point

8:53

uh all right Northern Ireland will

8:56

separate from the United Kingdom and

8:57

join the Republic of Ireland now

8:59

this is the point where I I kind of

9:02

start wondering if if all of this is

9:04

just ludicrous parody uh to try to bring

9:07

attention to his his account as if the

9:10

whole like establishment of the fourth

9:12

Reich after UK rejoining the EU isn't

9:15

clear enough it all seems like a massive

9:18

joke but you never know I mean sometimes

9:21

you get like

9:23

a disillusioned Russian president who's

9:26

fallen from favor who actually or maybe

9:29

not necessarily fallen from favor but

9:30

fallen from the public eye really uh who

9:33

actually believes that some of these

9:35

things can happen it just it seems wild

9:37

like look at this one Civil War will

9:40

break out in the United States

9:42

uh specifically California and Texas

9:45

will become independent states as a

9:47

result and Texas and Mexico will form an

9:50

Allied state

9:53

okay yeah this after uh the Mexico

9:57

invasion of San Antonio and the Alamo I

10:01

think there's so much history between

10:03

Mexico and Texas itself that I have a

10:07

hard time seeing that I mean we're

10:09

making some of the most ludicrous

10:10

connections here uh Mr Medvedev and uh

10:14

California has now flipped to a budget

10:16

deficit because you've got a of a

10:20

government who can't even help homeless

10:22

people on the streets because he's an

10:25

idiot and I could say that because I ran

10:27

against him for governor and got nearly

10:29

a million votes to get the loser out of

10:31

office but unfortunately I didn't get

10:33

enough votes to actually get him out of

10:34

office

10:36

um okay pretty remarkable pretty wild I

10:39

don't think California can afford it I

10:41

think taxes would ream California it's

10:43

not good I would not want to fight

10:46

against the Texans if I were in

10:47

California

10:49

if I were in California hmm Elon Musk

10:52

will win the presidential election in a

10:54

number of states which after a new civil

10:56

War's end will have been given to the

10:58

GOP

11:00

okay so so Elon Musk will be part

11:03

president of the United States okay all

11:05

right all of the largest stock markets

11:07

and financial activity will leave the

11:09

U.S and Europe and move to Asia

11:12

so that way Dimitri Medvedev can suggest

11:14

that it is either located in Russia or

11:16

China and of course they're strong

11:19

allies

11:20

interesting even though Russia has been

11:22

condemned by China for their war in um

11:25

in Ukraine initially they were silent

11:27

but I've turned around then the Bretton

11:30

Woods system of monetary management will

11:33

collapse leading to the IMF and World

11:35

Bank crash the euron dollar will stop

11:37

circulating AS Global Reserve currencies

11:38

digital Fiat currencies will be actively

11:40

used instead

11:42

now here's another wild one because

11:44

Russia actually used to ban Bitcoin

11:46

mining or or threaten to ban Bitcoin

11:48

coin mining because they thought that

11:49

was too threatening to monetary

11:51

stability

11:52

you now with the volatility of the

11:55

Russian Drupal Russia is actually

11:57

considering

11:58

legalizing cryptocurrencies in January

12:01

for international trade because they

12:03

realize their currency is not something

12:05

that people want to use to trade so

12:07

maybe people will be more inclined to

12:08

trade in let's say Bitcoin or ethereum

12:11

which is great for blockchain

12:14

but shows you the convenient U-turn by

12:17

Russia that after their currency starts

12:19

getting slammed oh okay well now we love

12:21

crypto even though before we hated it

12:23

and in the meantime now let's poop on

12:25

the Euro and the dollar some more the

12:27

Bretton Woods monetary system look this

12:29

is this is a 1944 agreement establishing

12:31

sort of monetary framework to establish

12:33

some kind of balance between the value

12:34

of Fiat currencies uh before even they

12:37

became Fiat it was really designed to

12:39

help

12:40

prevent countries from needing to

12:43

competitively devalue their own

12:44

currencies to get investment into their

12:46

countries remember if the value of

12:48

someone's currency Falls it actually

12:50

attracts it makes it cheaper to do

12:51

business with that country because you

12:53

could buy more stuff from the country

12:54

right

12:55

uh it's something that that you know

12:58

we've regularly seen with China although

13:00

they've recently pegged their currency

13:01

to the dollar to try to prevent that

13:03

crazy devaluation although they they

13:06

tend to enjoy doing that because again

13:08

it makes it more desirable to do trade

13:09

with China but anyway Dimitri is

13:12

basically saying what is now basically

13:15

just the the way of describing the world

13:18

order of monetary policy think uh

13:20

international monetary fund think ECB

13:22

European Central Bank think fed think

13:24

Bank of England all of that will just

13:26

collapse and and currencies will will be

13:28

worthless with of course the exception

13:29

of the Russian Rupal and

13:31

the crypto they're using

13:34

seasons greetings uh to all to which of

13:36

course Elon Musk has replied epic thread

13:39

uh 18 hours ago he did come out and

13:42

clarify that these are absolutely some

13:43

of the most absurd predictions I've ever

13:45

heard which is funny because it kind of

13:46

shows that like four hours after he said

13:48

this thread was epic he had to come out

13:50

and clarify that like hey I don't

13:52

actually think that these are like real

13:54

predictions right like these are absurd

13:57

um it's kind of funny because people bag

13:59

on Elon a lot so people take what he

14:02

says as out of context they're like oh

14:03

Elon Musk now loves the Russians and

14:05

agrees that we're going to have World

14:07

War four

14:08

kind of remarkable anyway this gives you
