All right, so JD Vance clearly sitting

0:02

next to Donnie T there as Zalinsky shows

0:04

up in a suit, no tie. What did we just

0:08

hear and what came out of the Trump

0:10

Zalinski Oval Office meeting? Uh, well,

0:13

let's go through all of it. Uh, first

0:15

things first, look, this Ukrainian

0:19

disaster with Russia has for a very long

0:22

time been what most mainstream media

0:25

just doesn't want to tell you out loud,

0:28

a proxy war. This has been a proxy war

0:31

between the United States and the

0:32

European Union against Russia to weaken

0:36

a nuclear adversary on the global stage

0:39

who is a big ally of North Korea and of

0:42

China. And if you weaken Russia, who's

0:45

also a big proponent of bricks, you

0:47

know, the ddollarization,

0:49

uh, and you weaken the axis of China,

0:53

Russia, Iran being involved with not

0:56

only manufacturing drones inside of

0:57

Russia, but also working very closely in

0:59

partnership with Russia and weaponry

1:01

when it comes to potentially attacking

1:03

Israel. you see this sort of broad

1:05

zoomed out situation of okay maybe it

1:08

makes a little sense why the United

1:11

States provides as much CIA intelligence

1:14

that's a little redundant central

1:16

intelligence agency intelligence but

1:17

it's as much intelligence as we do to

1:19

Ukraine but it's not just intelligence

1:21

it's quite literally targeting it is

1:24

weapons authorizations will allow you to

1:26

use the weapons there but not there

1:28

we'll allow you to strike there but not

1:29

there is essentially directing this war

1:32

just using Ukrainian soldiers. So, this

1:36

is really important to remember. So,

1:38

Donald Trump says this war wouldn't have

1:40

happened if it if he were in office. But

1:42

then people wonder, would it just boil

1:46

up into a larger aggression from Russia

1:48

or if the war ended too prematurely

1:51

by giving Russia the land that they

1:53

wanted? Would that end up just setting

1:56

up Russia for more aggressive posturing

1:58

in the future, especially in

2:00

coordination with known state sponsors

2:03

of terror like North Korea and Iran, as

2:06

well as

2:08

coordinating with China, maybe in taking

2:11

over Taiwan. Who knows? These are all

2:14

interconnected pieces. Now, all of that

2:16

said and background set, let's talk a

2:18

little bit about what was talked about

2:19

this morning. So, Zilinsky showed up in

2:21

a suit. No time. Uh Trump did, you know,

2:24

threaten and pause intelligence sharing

2:27

after that February 28th Oval Office

2:29

meeting where JD Vance says, "Have you

2:31

said thank you once?" Uh we did end up

2:33

getting a pause of intelligence sharing

2:35

for about one week and then we quickly

2:37

got back to in intelligence sharing.

2:39

that has been threatened again as

2:41

potentially being a tool or point of

2:44

leverage now in negotiations with

2:46

Ukraine because remember Trump is trying

2:49

to send a signal that this is not

2:52

European uh a European situation and a

2:56

US and Russia and Ukrainian situation.

3:00

Instead, Trump is trying to signal this

3:02

is US, Russia and Ukraine. And I think

3:05

the way he showed this most clearly

3:07

today was his chief of protocol, Monica

3:10

Crowley. She was responsible for

3:14

greeting European leaders, showing up

3:17

and pulling up in their convoys at the

3:20

White House. Usually Trump would be

3:22

responsible for meeting those folks,

3:24

just like Trump met Putin on Friday.

3:27

when Zalinski pulled up, Trump did end

3:31

up meeting and greeting Zalinski. Now,

3:34

this is interesting because it somewhat

3:36

sends a signal that, you know, Trump

3:39

doesn't care as much about the European

3:42

Union. Now, what's also worth knowing

3:44

about this is Donald Trump's really

3:47

clever in the way he kind of talks about

3:49

weapon sales and weapon donations. And

3:52

you should kind of know a little bit of

3:54

the background about how this works

3:55

because Donald Trump says, "Oh, we were

3:59

just donating weapons to Ukraine. We're

4:01

not doing that anymore." You know, now

4:04

we're selling weapons. We're no longer

4:06

giving weapons to Ukraine. But you kind

4:08

of have to understand how this works.

4:11

The way this works is the United States

4:14

funds NATO. We're the largest funer of

4:17

NATO. Now, Donald Trump has negotiated

4:20

and sort of twisted the arms of other

4:22

European countries to contribute more to

4:24

NATO, which is fantastic. Finally, a

4:26

president has pulled this off. This is

4:28

great news. You have to give the

4:30

president credit where credit is due.

4:32

This is great. But NATO basically then

4:34

buys European and US weapons and then

4:39

turns around and gives them to Ukraine.

4:42

So, it's kind of true that the United

4:46

States doesn't just donate weapons to

4:49

Ukraine, but it's also kind of true that

4:52

through NATO, we donate weapons to

4:54

Ukraine. Ukraine can't really afford

4:56

these weapons. Let's be real. So, with

5:00

this, uh, Donald Trump says he'll be

5:03

meeting with European Union leaders

5:05

after his Oval Office meeting just now

5:07

with Zalinski. He does suggest that

5:10

there is a chance of a trilateral

5:13

agreement. This is just a fancy way of

5:15

saying an agreement between Russia,

5:17

Ukraine, and the United States, but it

5:19

doesn't look like it is going to be any

5:22

kind of uh, you know, ceasefire. Donald

5:25

Trump says he likes ceasefires. However,

5:27

suggests that Putin and Zalinsky might

5:30

not be able to pull off a ceasefire.

5:32

Trump says there's a good chance of

5:33

ending the war now, but hopefully we can

5:36

stop the deaths. Trump says there have

5:38

been millions of deaths. I went ahead

5:40

and fact checked this. So far, there

5:42

have been 250,000 confirmed Russian

5:45

deaths and casualties at about 950,000.

5:49

So, if you look at casualties, yes,

5:50

we're at about a million there. The

5:52

casualties being injuries, right? Uh,

5:54

and per the Guardian, there have been

5:55

about 60 to 100,000 Ukrainian deaths and

5:58

about 400,000 casualties. Now, there are

6:01

two things going on here. Number one is

6:02

it's not uncommon for invaders to face

6:04

higher deaths due to the entrenchments

6:06

of existing Ukrainians. It's kind of

6:08

like, you know, the Alamo when the

6:11

Mexicans came with 1,800 to 6,000

6:13

soldiers to run over the Alamo and you

6:15

had 200, maybe even 180 soldiers

6:18

defending the Alamo in an entrenched

6:20

fort. You ended up having about 2 to

6:23

three Mexican deaths per Alamo fighter

6:26

death on the American side. This is

6:27

again, you know, what it usually takes

6:29

to take over uh an area versus being

6:32

entrenched and being a defender. Anyway,

6:35

uh Zilinski hopes for some form of

6:38

diplomatic end, but be clear, Zalinski

6:41

doesn't want to give up land. Zilinski

6:43

doesn't want to give up land because

6:44

most of that eastern region of Ukraine

6:47

is where Ukraine's energy production is

6:49

in that Dawnboss region. This is where

6:52

the money is for Ukraine. This is what

6:54

can help keep UK Ukraine's economy

6:56

going, which is exactly what Putin

6:59

wants. Now, Europeans are worried that

7:02

Putin doesn't just want the energy. That

7:04

that's the guys that he's going to

7:06

manipulate Trump into saying, "Hey, he

7:08

they just want the energy. Let him have

7:10

some energy and business deals. Let him

7:12

have some energy economy and that's it."

7:15

the European Union. They believe

7:17

collectively that Putin is really just

7:19

looking for a launchpad or an

7:21

opportunity to to, you know, attack more

7:25

than just Ukraine and eventually attack

7:27

Finland or Poland or otherwise in the

7:29

future. It's worth also looking at if

7:32

you jump into

7:34

what's circulating on social media right

7:37

now, there is apparently a Gaz 71. This

7:40

is an armored personnel carrier driving

7:43

around uh in Let's actually make that

7:45

not loud and noisy. There we go. Driving

7:47

around or videoed

7:51

Oh, that just has an overlay of music.

7:52

Got it. Uh a video of this this armored

7:55

personnel carrier driving around on the

7:58

front lines in Russia towards Ukraine.

8:00

Uh and it has a United States flag and a

8:03

Russian flag

8:06

on on the end of it. Now, a lot of

8:09

people think that this is part of

8:11

Putin's propaganda machine. That, see, I

8:14

was able to go to the United States, get

8:16

the US Army to roll out the red carpet

8:19

for me. They rolled out the red carpet

8:21

for me. I looked in Trump's eyes and I

8:23

told him, "I want land, and I'm not

8:26

doing a ceasefire." And so, what do you

8:28

then have? Then you have Trump saying,

8:30

"H, I don't think a ceasefire is going

8:32

to happen." And, yeah, there's probably

8:35

going to be some territory swapping. And

8:37

yeah, we said we were going to do

8:39

aggressive secondary sanctions against

8:41

Russia and there would be major

8:42

consequences for Russia, but we're kind

8:45

of walking that back as well. So when

8:48

you combine

8:49

that Putin propaganda of look, Putin's

8:53

kind of steamrolling Trump a little bit,

8:55

at least in terms of this this

8:57

impression from the Russian side, right?

8:59

like Putin's kind of got Trump talking

9:02

exactly what Trump want or or what Putin

9:06

wants. And then you put this together

9:08

with the red carpet imagery, the imagery

9:10

of now US flags on Russian uh vehicles,

9:14

which you know, who knows? Maybe those

9:15

are just sort of rogue soldiers or

9:17

whatever who decided to do that or it's

9:19

part of the Russian propaganda campaign.

9:21

It kind of shows that yeah, you know,

9:24

this this is a tougher situation for

9:25

Trump. Trump even mentions at this press

9:27

conference, make sure to use Kevin's

9:30

coupon code before Friday. It's coupon

9:32

code JHole because it expires Friday.

9:33

Then there'll be a big price increase.

9:35

And you want to get Kevin's 10-year buy

9:37

list where he's got 10 stocks. He's

9:39

going to be holding for 10 years uh

9:41

coming out starting this month and

9:43

trickling out over the next uh six or so

9:45

weeks. So, make sure you're part of

9:46

that. All the courses, the alpha report,

9:48

the live streams every day, the private

9:50

live streams, and our course member live

9:52

streams uh when the market is open and

9:53

more. Get that all over at meet

9:55

Kevin.com. So, make sure you use coupon

9:56

code jhole, which expires Friday in

9:58

honor of Jackson Hole, of course. But

10:00

anyway, uh no, Donald Trump actually

10:02

said that he thought that ending the war

10:04

in Ukraine would be a lot easier, that

10:07

uh we'd be able to get this done much

10:08

sooner. But the reality has been much

10:11

more challenging, that this war wasn't

10:13

his easiest. If anything, it might

10:15

actually end up proving to be his

10:17

hardest war to solve, which obviously

10:20

isn't great. Uh Donald Trump says that

10:23

we'll talk more about troops and

10:24

security guarantees later today. There's

10:26

a lot of talk about potentially having

10:29

uh US troops as a second line of defense

10:32

following sort of NATO or European

10:34

troops or US troops inside of NATO

10:37

operating in some form of defensive

10:39

capacity. Keeping in mind that there's a

10:42

lot of sort of toying the line here

10:44

where Russia doesn't want Ukraine in

10:46

NATO, but there's a lot of talk about

10:48

having security guarantees that

10:51

basically give NATO protection to

10:54

Ukraine without giving NATO membership

10:56

to Ukraine. So even talk about article

11:00

five protection of Ukraine where an

11:02

attack on one is an attack on all. This

11:04

obviously would be very strong for

11:07

Ukraine is what Ukraine wants and

11:09

obviously something that Russia would

11:10

not want. But that's why the Europeans

11:13

are showing up today because they want

11:15

to make sure that Zalinski doesn't get

11:17

pressured into giving up territory that

11:19

ends up risking the sovereignty of other

11:23

European countries. Then uh Donald Trump

11:26

says that uh we um you well he picks up

11:30

on this Zalinsky saying you can't have

11:32

elections during a war. Trump says, you

11:35

know, sort of jokingly, wait, I could do

11:37

that. I could stop elections during the

11:39

war. Kind of leaning into this like

11:41

staying in office, you know, drama that

11:44

that there's been a lot of talk about.

11:46

And you know, Trump's been kind of clear

11:47

about I don't know. I I haven't decided

11:49

yet if I'm going to run for a third

11:50

term. I think he kind of likes and

11:52

craves the headlines. But anyway,

11:54

Silinsk's wife did give Trump a letter

11:56

for Melania, thanking Melania for her

11:59

letter to Putin about Ukrainian

12:00

children. Basically, please be careful

12:02

about killing Ukrainian children. Uh, at

12:04

some point, there's also been drama

12:06

about a story about the Zalinski's wife

12:09

buying a Bugatti for like €4 million.

12:12

This mentioned a dealership in Paris and

12:14

it was found to be fake. The Instagram

12:17

account from Jac Barton uh was deleted

12:21

after posting it. The headline also, if

12:24

you could read French, uh included the

12:27

following, which uh you know, I I I

12:31

can't speak French, but anyway, this is

12:32

basically a short description for your

12:35

article is is the translation of this or

12:37

basically a um what was it? A short uh

12:41

it stands for here's a short title for

12:44

the article suggesting that this was

12:46

probably just like an AI news website

12:48

that put this together. uh and the

12:51

dealership that was cited in this

12:52

actually filed a forgery complaint

12:54

against uh you know this this sort of

12:56

website or platform that puts this

12:58

information together. So anyway uh then

13:02

uh Donald Trump uh says that uh let's

13:05

see here we've got oh yeah then he gets

13:07

into ranting about how mail and ballots

13:10

are really corrupt. Uh he says he's

13:12

pretty sure we're the only country that

13:14

does mail and ballots. So I fact check

13:16

this and he's wrong. Uh Germany does

13:19

mail and ballots. Canada does mail and

13:20

ballots. UK does mail and ballots.

13:21

Switzerland does mail and ballots.

13:23

Australia does mail and ballots.

13:26

Uh so, you know, once again, a little

13:29

oopsies there, but you know, I think

13:31

sometimes the truth kind of misses

13:33

Donald Trump and he kind of doesn't care

13:34

because it's it's useful for his base to

13:37

kind of keep arguments going against

13:39

mail and ballots. He decries that mail

13:41

and ballots are a big issue and that

13:43

Republicans should worry more about mail

13:44

and ballots than they should worry uh

13:47

about um you know redistricting. I

13:50

actually think that mail and ballots you

13:52

know kind of interesting. I I think they

13:54

should just be like drop off ballots. I

13:56

think that that could be kind of uh you

13:58

know like a nice compromise. That's sort

14:00

of my opinion because, you know, I I we

14:03

get mail-in ballots and sort of just as

14:05

a human, I like to throw in that uh you

14:08

know, when I get a ballot, I sit there

14:09

and I fill it out at home because I

14:11

could do my research and fill out the

14:12

ballot and I could take my time and I'm

14:14

not like pressured at a polling booth to

14:16

just go down the list and you know, just

14:18

do all like R or all D or you know,

14:20

whatever you want to do. You can

14:22

actually take your time, fill it out,

14:23

and then you can fold it up and sign it

14:24

and seal it and then you can go drop it

14:26

off. But so maybe we need drop off

14:29

ballots. I don't I don't know. I'm a fan

14:30

of that. Uh that's when people get into

14:32

like ballot harvesting though where like

14:34

you can kind of collect and drop off for

14:36

or on behalf of other people. You know,

14:39

I wouldn't be opposed to like everybody

14:41

individually has to drop off their own

14:42

ballot. But anyway, that was Donald

14:44

Trump kind of like hijacking the meeting

14:46

a little bit to talk about that. Uh

14:47

president or the PM rather of Italy also

14:50

spoke to reporters saying that there are

14:51

no easy solutions. Uh Zalinski says uh

14:55

we need everything. Uh, we need troops,

14:57

weapons, a strong Ukrainian army,

14:59

training, intelligence. We need

15:01

everything. Trump says he'll call Putin

15:02

after these meetings. Bottom line, out

15:04

of all this, uh, a lot of optimistic

15:07

talk, I don't know that it's really

15:09

going to get anywhere. I'm hopeful and

15:11

optimistic, but um, you know, this I I

15:15

don't think Putin wants a deal. I think

15:17

Putin wants to keep going until he gets

15:20

the land that he wants. And Trump might

15:22

be the perfect person to push Sinsky to

15:24

take some kind of land swap deal, but

15:26

Putin's not going to stop until he gets

15:29

exactly the land he wants. And

15:30

unfortunately, that does hand uh Putin a

15:33

big win. Uh which again just supports

15:36

the aggression of countries like North

15:38

Korea, China, potentially with Taiwan.

15:40

Sets a precedent for Taiwan, which isn't

15:42

great. You know, let's land swap Taiwan

15:44

and then 90% of the world's

15:46

semi-conductor manufacturing is at risk.

15:49

So, a lot of potential issues there, but

15:51

we'll see how it goes. That's what we

15:52

heard today on Zalinsky and Trump. And

15:55

that gives you sort of a full breakdown

15:56

of what's going on.

15:57

>> Why not advertise these things that you

15:59
