no it so a narcissist won't necessarily

know they're consciously doing that some

obviously with certain types of behavior

will consciously try and hurt you but a

narcissist is always about minimizing

their own wounds and their drug of

choice we call it narcissistic Supply so

they need to you to make them feel a

certain way so that is what drives them

at any stage so they want you to make

them the center of the universe the

center of the attention and this is what

makes it really challenging that that

moment say when you have children of

course that has to change you know when

I had children with my ex-husband that's

when I think it actually started to

change because it was like Hey you're

not giving me all of that attention

anymore you're giving it to our child

which of course you would because you've

got a new baby but to a narcissist that

is like ripping a scab off their wound

cuz all of a sudden they're not getting

all of your attention
