Hey everyone, me Kevin here. It's coupon

0:01

expiration night and we need to talk

0:03

about this Tesla robot interaction which

0:06

looks like it is doing full-fledged

0:09

artificial intelligence robotic I don't

0:12

know taekwond do or karate or whatever

0:15

we want to call it. We're going to break

0:17

this down because there's a lot going on

0:19

in this picture that may not be obvious

0:22

at first glance. I'm going to break it

0:24

down. In addition to that, Bank of

0:27

America tells us some crazy things about

0:29

the stock market. I'm going to give us

0:32

those first really quickly because

0:34

they're a little bit on the nutty side,

0:36

uh, in my opinion, but I think they're

0:37

quite interesting. Listen to just some

0:38

of these numbers. Won't take long. Look

0:41

at this. Treasuries market, sixth

0:44

biggest outflow out of the market ever,

0:48

which is crazy because yields were

0:50

basically stable over the last week,

0:52

which means people dump the crap out of

0:55

treasuries probably because we're like,

0:56

"All right, we're not going to get any

0:58

bad data." So, I guess yields are just

1:00

going to hang out here for a while. And

1:02

even Myin is like, "Maybe we don't have

1:03

to cut that much." We talked about Myron

1:05

earlier today in the other video. You

1:07

should watch it if you haven't yet. Uh

1:08

then global equities third highest ever

1:12

inflows ever.

1:16

Third highest inflows $114 billion in

1:20

the last 3-week period. Third highest

1:22

inflows ever. Global equity ETFs biggest

1:27

inflows ever. Tech inflows in the week

1:31

9.3 billion biggest on record.

1:36

Financials on course for the second

1:38

largest inflow ever. Healthc care at a

1:43

record inflow. Materials

1:46

annualized $71 billion inflow.

1:52

Clients at Bank of America 64.7%

1:55

stocks the highest allocation since

1:58

March of 2022.

2:00

March of 22 was when the Federal Reserve

2:03

started hiking rates. That's I mean we

2:07

started selling off in roughly January

2:10

2022, some stocks in December 2021 and

2:13

you had uh probably a good downturn for

2:16

about 11 months. You know, some stocks

2:19

bottomed later that summer like July,

2:21

some stocks didn't bottom until, you

2:23

know, September to November of 2022.

2:25

Remarkable. Bonds have the lowest

2:29

allocation since May of 2022, which

2:32

means people are giving up on bonds.

2:36

And cash now has the lowest allocation

2:39

since September of 2018.

2:42

Wow. That was right before, well

2:44

actually sort of right during the bond

2:46

market stress that really culminated in

2:48

the flip-flop by the Federal Reserve in

2:50

December of 2018, which of course I was

2:53

also covering and making YouTube videos

2:54

on, which is kind of crazy to think that

2:57

I'm now coming up on seven no actually

3:00

eight years of of covering the Fed, but

3:01

that was 7 years ago. Anyway, wild. So,

3:06

uh, some of this data I was just looking

3:08

at in addition to coming upon this,

3:11

which we need to break down here in

3:12

detail, especially where Tesla's

3:14

valuation is. Yesterday, I did, uh, what

3:16

I thought was a great video breaking

3:18

down what was going on with Tesla.

3:20

Obviously, the last couple days here,

3:21

Tesla's stock is down about 6%. Uh, we

3:24

we obviously expected that there would

3:26

be some buy the rumors, sell the news.

3:27

This is logical. This is this isn't that

3:29

hard to anticipate, especially when

3:30

we're, you know, relatively in no man's

3:33

land with the stock. There are no real

3:35

support lines around where Tesla's stock

3:37

is right now. Uh and and that's okay.

3:38

So, expect that volatility. Uh you know,

3:41

over the last couple days, we've been

3:42

talking about Tesla going to 414. Uh it

3:44

literally got all the way down to 416

3:47

today, which is remarkable. We did

3:49

though have a little bit more pressure

3:51

in tech and the Q's than expected. And

3:54

part of that was a concern about

3:57

institutional selling. Now, I thought

3:59

this was really interesting because

4:02

there are some folks who were

4:03

circulating commentary that are

4:05

suggesting institutions started dumping

4:08

stocks. Well, today and yesterday. And

4:12

there are a few tellt tell signs for

4:14

institutions dumping stocks, not just

4:16

here this tweet from first squad going

4:18

professional investors dumping US

4:20

equities. Institutional investors sold

4:22

$3.6 billion last week, biggest in three

4:25

months. Hedge funds sell for a third

4:27

straight straight week. Okay, we can

4:30

usually tell when institutions are

4:33

selling based on the time when when the

4:37

orders come through. Usually, this is

4:39

just a little bit of insight from

4:41

somebody who used to do institutional

4:42

orders, me. Uh, usually institutions

4:46

will set up orders

4:48

for market on open or market on close.

4:52

So, you're really not intraday trading

4:55

that much when you're running a fund.

4:57

You send your order to your broker

4:59

dealer or the person doing your orders.

5:02

They send it through compliance. And

5:03

there's so much bull crap that goes on

5:06

that usually you just mark the order.

5:09

It's not an ASAP order, but rather you

5:11

just mark it as

5:14

well, basically either it's going to

5:16

happen on open or it's going to happen

5:18

on close. Now, it it's really

5:20

interesting uh that you know this

5:22

morning in the alpha report, I was

5:24

really hoping that if institutions

5:27

didn't dump that we would see the tech

5:29

trade continue like AMD finally pushing

5:33

the 164 line. But unfortunately, what

5:36

happened is institutions dumped and so

5:38

AMD came right back to 164. In fact, you

5:42

could see it right here. Take a look

5:44

specifically at the cues and I want to

5:46

teach you this so you could see it

5:47

yourself. Look at the five minute chart

5:50

the last two days. Look at those open

5:52

cells. Now we did get this funky midday

5:56

cell here and we'll talk about that in

5:58

just a moment.

6:00

This is your open selling. This is your

6:03

open selling which is usually a sign of

6:06

institutions dumping. The only time we

6:09

tend to get intraday selling is when

6:12

things like, "Oh crap, the budget just

6:16

didn't get extended in the Senate. We

6:19

just didn't get the votes and all of a

6:21

sudden massive volume comes in to create

6:24

some form of intraday event that ends up

6:26

getting heavily traded." And keep in

6:27

mind, there are institutional traders

6:29

that trade during the day, but it's your

6:32

long funds that usually don't trade much

6:35

intraday. They're usually trading at

6:37

open and close. So anyway, we got to

6:40

talk about this uh this this Tesla video

6:43

because it's really really fascinating

6:44

and and it's really suggestive of like

6:47

some real progress here with these

6:50

robotics. We're going to talk about

6:51

that. Uh I want to quickly mention that

6:54

I'm just going to read it verbatim. This

6:56

morning I wrote, "The only way we don't

7:00

continue to QQQ 6:15 IMO today is if

7:06

institutions start to panic over the

7:09

lack of data." I even said retail's

7:12

going to buy the dip. And we explained

7:13

this in our live stream. Retail's going

7:15

to buy the dip, but institutions are

7:18

probably going to start getting nervous

7:19

about selling, especially when you got

7:21

this sort of fund manager flow, which is

7:24

insane. or I not even just fund manager

7:26

flow, just just broad equity markets

7:28

flow. These are crazy inflows into the

7:31

market. This is more than FOMO. This is

7:34

like turning to euphoria. And don't get

7:36

me wrong, I love it because like I mean

7:38

I'm I feel like every single day my

7:40

stocks keep making me money. I'm looking

7:42

at it. I'm like, dude, this is this is

7:44

not sustainable, but this is great. Like

7:46

I love this. I love my exposure to like

7:48

chip stocks or whatever or the 10 stocks

7:50

we're buying over the next 10 years. It

7:52

doesn't matter, right?

7:54

But institutions get nervous when we

7:57

don't get the data and not getting the

7:59

BLS data isn't great. Now, let's talk

8:01

about this regarding the Optimus here.

8:04

So, what I'm going to do is I'm going to

8:05

play this clip on the Optimus. Uh, and I

8:08

want you to think, do you think that

8:09

this is teley tea operated by somebody

8:12

wearing a suit or do you think it's

8:13

remote control operated by somebody with

8:15

a joystick? Um, yes. Spoiler alert,

8:18

there's a guy holding a remote control

8:20

in the back left. Second, spoiler alert,

8:22

he's not controlling the robot. I will

8:24

explain it in just a moment. Uh, and

8:25

then I'm going to explain to you Elon

8:28

Musk's reply here and what I think Elon

8:31

is not telling us. Are you ready for

8:33

this? And no, Elon's it's not going to

8:35

be Elon's reminding you that the coupon

8:37

daddy's bag expires and why I got to

8:39

change it sometime tonight. I got a lot

8:41

of crap still left to do. But anyway,

8:43

here we go.

8:47

Heat.

9:07

Heat.

9:17

Looks pretty cool. Pretty dang

9:19

impressive performance by the Optimus

9:21

robot there. Uh now uh there is a

9:24

question that is replied here which I'm

9:28

almost certain Elon was anticipating

9:30

that this question would be asked. So

9:33

here Elon goes Tesla Optimus is learning

9:35

kung fu. Here Devon Olsen writes

9:38

operated or AI powered. Elon writes, "AI

9:40

not tea operated." And when I first saw

9:42

this, I'm like, "Hm, that's pretty damn

9:45

impressive." Now, how long do we think

9:47

those actuators are actually going to be

9:49

able to last? Like, how many fights can

9:51

it go in before it a runs out of

9:53

battery? Not many. Less than an hour.

9:55

Uh, you know, how long before the, you

9:58

know, servos burn out, uh, or need a

10:00

break or overheat? Probably not long.

10:03

That's just sort of the stage of

10:04

robotics right now. That's really not

10:06

anything bearish. That's just sort of

10:07

where robotics are today. That's just

10:09

the nature of technology today. But Elon

10:12

said that this is AI. All right, then.

10:14

Fine. If this is AI, who the hell is

10:17

this guy with a remote? Well, I believe

10:20

that you see these rails up here. These

10:23

rails right here are stationary rails

10:26

that house cranes. They're basically

10:28

just crane rails. The easiest way to see

10:31

it is right here in this frame. See this

10:35

Optimus hanging from this crane right

10:37

here? I believe there is another crane

10:40

holding this Optimus. And as this

10:42

Optimus moves forward,

10:45

this crane gets operated to the left, to

10:48

our left, right to this person's right.

10:51

At the same time as the crane moves to

10:54

the left, you're going to notice this

10:55

guy subconsciously starts walking to the

10:58

left as well. A because he's going to

11:00

get whacked by this Optimus, and B

11:02

because he knows that he's not remote

11:04

controlling this Optimus. He's remote

11:05

controlling the crane. So basic here

11:08

you're going to see that you can see as

11:10

that crane is moving he is also moving

11:13

to not get whacked by the crane. There's

11:15

another crane. So this is pretty

11:16

obvious. He just seems to be on, you

11:18

know, let's just call it the x-axis

11:20

moving the tether for the Optimus robot

11:24

to the left or the right. Now, a lot of

11:27

people are very excited about the

11:30

behavior of this because, oh my gosh,

11:32

like the Optimus robot is is responding

11:34

to this person in, you know, a black uh

11:37

karate uniform and wow, this looks so

11:40

impressive. Okay, first things first,

11:42

this guy's wearing Crocs and um I I

11:46

don't actually know if they know

11:48

anything about karate. I'm I'm not about

11:50

to tell you that I know everything there

11:52

is to know about, you know, karate or

11:54

kung fu or whatever the hell we're doing

11:56

over here. But what what I will say is

11:59

the robot does not appear to actually be

12:04

interacting with the person. Now, that's

12:08

going to piss some people off, but I

12:11

will show you my rationale for why. I

12:13

believe that this robot has been uh

12:18

repeatedly trained to behave in the same

12:22

way. In other words, the robot is going

12:25

to start by, you know, doing a few

12:28

warm-up punches. Uh, and then we're

12:31

gonna get ready and then we're going to

12:33

do high block, low block, kick, high

12:38

block, low block, or something to that

12:40

element. I think the human is

12:45

choreographing with the robot, knowing

12:48

what the robot is going to do next.

12:52

The one of the reasons I believe this is

12:54

the robot is not actually even pointing

12:56

its head at the person. suggesting that

12:59

the robot is not actually responding

13:01

with artificial intelligence to the

13:03

person. Instead, maybe it was, you know,

13:07

trained to repeat a pattern with

13:09

somebody in a teleoperated suit and then

13:12

all right, we've recorded this pattern.

13:14

Now, go do this pattern over and over

13:16

again. And the human is now going to

13:18

sort of like engage with the robot for

13:20

the show. It's a good show either way

13:22

because it shows you sort of the

13:24

mechanics of where the technology is

13:27

going and uh the actuators and how

13:29

strong they are. But I'm going to show

13:31

you uh where the points are where I

13:34

think this happens. So, what we'll do is

13:35

we'll play this and we'll slow this down

13:36

in just a moment. All right. Ready? Here

13:38

we go.

13:42

All of this likely to me just a script.

13:46

Okay. Now let's go slow it down now to

13:50

0.25. So quarter speed. And I'll just

13:53

let it play and we'll narrate. Okay. So

13:55

we'll narrate here. So obviously this is

13:58

the initiation.

14:02

Now here that punch by the optimus. I

14:05

wanted to keep it playing but it's kind

14:07

of important to see this. This punch by

14:09

the optimus.

14:11

I think the individual in the black

14:13

outfit knows that the punch is coming.

14:16

But look at where the punch goes. The

14:17

punch doesn't actually go towards the

14:19

person. It goes out kind of in line with

14:23

where this X is over here. He's not even

14:26

over there. Now, he might be there. And

14:30

I think that's why he kind of steps into

14:32

it to get a little closer. Like, who

14:35

takes this punch? What kind of freaking

14:37

punch is this? I mean, I hate to say

14:38

this, but like who throws a jab? Like,

14:41

this guy's throwing a jab right here.

14:43

What is this? That's not even a jab.

14:44

First of all, this is like this is like

14:45

an arm lever punch. I've never seen

14:47

that. Usually, you jab with your forward

14:49

arm and this is like some kind of like

14:52

halfhearted

14:54

swat and you're not even making contact

14:57

with the Optimus in that in that moment,

14:59

right? So, watch watch the Optimus's

15:02

left arm. Watch this arm right here.

15:04

That arm's just going to get yeeted out

15:05

towards the X. Yeeted out towards the X.

15:08

This guy's going to like pretend to swat

15:10

it. Misses it. They totally miss each

15:14

other there. Now, the optimist then just

15:18

repeats, you know, because like I said,

15:20

I think this is a script, you know, you

15:22

kind of start and the optimist is going

15:24

like, "All right, like imagine you're

15:26

the person in black." The optimist is

15:28

like, "All right, execute script."

15:34

And like you're the person. It's like,

15:36

"Bro, this is just a script. It's not

15:38

even a good one." All right. Uh but but

15:43

anyway, then we get, you know, the right

15:45

arm from the Optimus, which is is I

15:49

think it was trained by somebody who

15:50

also doesn't do martial arts, just this

15:52

is a very bizarre fighting stance to be

15:55

in with this

15:57

half-hearted. It's not really a jab.

16:00

It's try like cuz a jab would be more

16:02

towards the head. It's more of like a a

16:04

body swat. Also, now we're getting a

16:06

lunge forward by the Optimus, which he

16:08

happens to know perfectly. Like, he's

16:11

already he already knows like, "Oh, the

16:13

Optimus is going to step forward." Like,

16:15

look at this. Like, as the Optimus leans

16:17

forward, this guy's already like, "Oh,

16:19

yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah." I mean, the

16:20

punch the technically this punch has

16:22

already come in here. And then this

16:23

guy's going to like, "All right, yeah,

16:25

hey, we're going to we're going to back

16:26

up here cuz we know exactly what the

16:28

Optimus is doing." Uh, in fact, you

16:31

could see him sort of raise his arm

16:33

right here to block the Optimus, which

16:36

what the hell is this? What kind of

16:38

attack is this? I mean, first of all,

16:40

his whole face is exposed. You just

16:41

punched the crap out of him with a jab.

16:43

If you didn't step back, you smoked this

16:46

guy in a fight already a long time ago.

16:49

Okay, but anyways, but but you know,

16:52

like who blocks while your foot is in

16:55

the air? You know, this is like the most

16:57

unstable foundation for a fight. This is

17:00

like embarrassing fighting. Like, please

17:03

get some people who know how to fight.

17:05

But anyway, it's like you're So, now

17:06

you're gonna air block the Optimus who's

17:09

also floating while this is happening.

17:12

They're literally both floating while

17:14

this funky air slap is happening.

17:19

And now, I mean, this this has some

17:21

potential here. some potential because,

17:24

you know, you could take a step and

17:26

lunge, but the problem is the Optimus

17:29

like sort of lunges its arm before it

17:33

actually steps. Like look at that. The

17:35

lunge is complete

17:38

and now we're stepping,

17:40

which is is not how you lunge, right?

17:43

Like if you're going to lunge, you're

17:45

going to right like you extend when your

17:48

foot hits the ground. Now, you don't

17:52

extend and then, oh I need to get

17:54

my balance.

17:56

All your power is gonna go away, right?

17:59

I get it. It's just a robot. I get it.

18:03

But come on, man. Uh, all right. So,

18:07

let's keep going here.

18:10

All right. Now, we're doing this insane

18:14

come and get me demo.

18:18

Now, we're going to do some things that

18:19

look cool. Okay. Yeah. Okay. Yeah. We're

18:22

going to lean back and and swap forward

18:24

to touch tips, I guess. Okay.

18:27

Predictable kick here. Yeah. And now

18:29

we're going to do this little fist bump.

18:30

And now I want you to push me.

18:34

Here comes the push.

18:36

And this is nice though cuz you do get

18:38

to see Optimus balance a little bit. I'm

18:40

not sure what that kick was for. Little

18:43

karate kick here or you know like karate

18:45

kid kick. All right. Good. Here comes uh

18:49

No, got to align with a little push

18:51

here. And oh, let's give him a little

18:52

push. This is This We got to give him

18:54

credit. Kind of good that these Optimus

18:57

robots can balance like this.

19:00

Big fan. Big fan. I give him credit. All

19:02

right, I'll finish. Oh, yeah. Shake it

19:04

off a little bit. And I'm ready to keep

19:06

going. I mean, it's it's obviously

19:10

extremely choreographed.

19:12

Fine. It's still really cool because

19:14

look at the darn thing. It could balance

19:16

on one leg. Yeah, it's tethered, but

19:19

that's because if this thing falls over,

19:21

all of this is like 3D printed cladding

19:23

that just makes them look cool. It's

19:26

going to shatter and you're going to

19:27

have to sit there for 4 hours and print

19:29

a new plate or more because some of

19:31

these are multi-piece molds. It's a pain

19:33

in the butt. Most of the tech here

19:35

though that I think is cool is the

19:38

balance. You know, I love the balance

19:40

we've got in the hips. Uh, I love what

19:42

I'm seeing in the mobility in the legs

19:44

and the arms. The whole thing though,

19:47

this is not this is not artificial

19:49

intelligence. I've got a guy controlling

19:51

a crane to make sure the thing doesn't

19:53

face plant. I've got, you know, a guy in

19:56

Crocs who's, you know, doing a

19:59

choreographed headband dance with a

20:02

robot. And I got a robot who has a

20:05

script who is, you know, presenting a

20:10

show of maneuverability. That's what we

20:12

have here. Uh, unfortunately, when you

20:14

only watch it once, it looks like you

20:17

have a robot that is,

20:21

how should I put it? Um, responding to

20:24

the individual, right? So, the first

20:26

time you watch it, you're like, "Oh my

20:27

gosh, the the robot is reacting to

20:30

everything the guy is doing. This is so

20:32

impressive." But the reality is actually

20:34

the opposite. The guy has done this

20:38

dance 27 times and he knows exactly what

20:41

move the robot's going to make. It can

20:43

barely hold its balance. The robot's

20:46

just going through its script.

20:52

Still, it's cool. Is it very impressive?

20:58

No. So this is unfortunately though

21:02

sometimes the MMO we get from Elon and I

21:06

liked it because initially I'm like oh

21:07

wow really that's that's pretty

21:09

impressive. Uh Elon discussing Optimus

21:12

robot learning kung fu moves through

21:13

AIdriven imitation not teleoperation

21:17

right that's actually interesting that

21:19

it mentions im imitation here. Uh I

21:21

didn't see this but I think that is I

21:24

mean I I think it's script. I think

21:27

imitation is a nice way of saying

21:28

script. This is to the extent that Grock

21:32

understands as well. But that's my take.

21:34

So I find it kind of interesting. I also

21:36

was looking a little bit here. I did

21:38

find it interesting as well that there's

21:39

this company here called uh Cerebis

21:41

Systems. They scheduled to IPO. They

21:44

filed this IPO, this S1 last year, and

21:48

uh they showed a net loss of $127

21:51

million, loss from operations of 133,

21:53

but they're a chip company, and they

21:55

actually just raised a $1.1 billion

21:59

funding round just a few days ago,

22:01

valuing them at $8.1 billion. And the

22:04

CEO said that when they were doing the

22:07

funding that their funding round wasn't

22:09

going to impact their desire to actually

22:11

go public and now they've withdrawn

22:14

their IPO saying oh yeah you know just

22:17

kidding we got all this funding and now

22:19

just kidding we actually don't want to

22:21

go public anymore

22:23

systems with request for withdrawal of

22:25

S1 which is really interesting because

22:27

it kind of makes me wonder like

22:30

like did you get your funding and now

22:32

you're like eh this isn't the best time

22:34

to go public. We're at the top of the

22:36

market. You maybe things are a little

22:37

stretched or, you know, are you guys

22:40

worried because you're going to have to

22:41

issue updated financials and now you

22:43

just took on a bunch of extra debt and,

22:45

you know, maybe we're getting to that

22:46

point in the cycle where people are

22:48

like, "Oh man, damn, these these AI

22:50

companies are just living off of debt

22:51

right now." I I don't know. I don't

22:53

know. Uh so definitely some interesting

22:56

things going on at this time of the

22:57

market. We'll be incorporating uh these

23:00

in our strategies in the Meet Kevin

23:02

membership. I have a bunch of lectures

23:04

to film this weekend. So, I'll be hard

23:06

at work this weekend filming lectures

23:08

and uh continuing with our house hack

23:10

renovations, which I'm very excited

23:12

about. We're kicking butt on. You watch.

23:13

We did a little house hack video, too,

23:15

if you want to see those. And um yeah, I

23:18

might take a little bit of a nap and

23:19

then get to that uh get to that coupon

23:20

code. So, it might still be active when

23:22

you watch this video, but um anyway, go

23:24

to mekevin.com and I'll change it as

23:26

soon as I can. Appreciate y'all being

23:28

here and cheers to the Toppo.

much. People love you. People look up to
