She lives with her parents in Beijing.

Her father is a teacher.

Her mother is a doctor.

In 2015

they came to work in China.

Mary came to China to study together with them.

They have a dog.

It is cute

and his name is Lele.

Mary loves to play with him.

They have been in China for almost six years.

They have made many good friends.

They often eat and drink tea together.

Mary's father likes to read.

Her mother likes to watch movies and go shopping.

Mary likes to listen to music and learn Chinese.

Mary can speak Chinese

and write in Chinese.

In college she is a good student.

Her classmates and teachers all like her.

Next month is her mother's birthday.

She wants to buy a gift for her mother

but she doesn't have much money.

Behind the university there is a restaurant.

She begins classes at 8 in the morning.

At four in the afternoon she goes to work at the restaurant.

A month later,

she already has money.

She buys a beautiful piece of clothing for her mother

and a book about Mandarin Chinese for herself.

When the birthday arrives,

she gives her gift to her mother.

When her mother sees the beautiful clothes, she

gets very happy.
