Donald Trump Vice President: Vivek Ramaswamy

hey everyone me Kevin here wow so Donald

Trump just commented on Vivek and the

potential for him to be a VP candidate

he was on a podcast with Glenn Beck

Donald Trump said Vivek would be quote

very good as a possible candidate uh and

open uh I mean really what this would do

is it would open Donald Trump up to a

younger and potentially more radical

anti-washington kind of person which is

really what Donald Trump ran on in 2016.

remember Donald Trump ran on drained the

swamp and then after uh his first

presidency he's complained that he feels

like he wasn't able to put the right

people in place to actually finish the

job of draining the swamp and this is

one of the promises that he makes now

that he's gonna go back in there and

continue to clean up the swamp so to

speak and it's very interesting that

Vivek has now taken a very similar

message in fact in a speech he just gave

at the Ronald Reagan Library on August

8th I believe it was August 8th Vivek

says you've got to be able to turn over

the log of Washington D.C and come

prepared with pesticide it's basically

the same analogy it's kind of

interesting and Vivek has taken this

very almost smart strategy of aligning

with the top Contender to where Donald

Trump can't say anything bad about him

in fact listen to this uh Donald Trump

has asked about Vivek and Trump says

well I think he's great look anybody

that said I'm the best president in a

generation I don't know you'd have to

Define generation it's a long time but I

can't be upset with him he's a smart guy

he's a young guy he's got a lot of

talent he's a very very very intelligent

person he's got good energy and could be

some form of something I'll tell you I

think he'd be very good at VP I think

he's he's really distinguished himself

now Donald Trump had some suggestions

for Vivek as well but it shows you the

Brilliance of this strategy that Vivek

is taking and even though I have my own

personal criticisms that we've talked

about on the channel before in terms of

some of vivek's history and business

history this strategy is brilliant it's

a line with the top dog the top dog

can't be mad at you and you can then

either team up with the top dog or if

the top dog is gone everybody who for

whatever reason right what like you know

Donald Trump got struck by a bus or

whatever happened Tucker Carlson just

recently alleged that the next thing

that's gonna happen to Donald Trump

after indictment's not working and all

these things is that he's trending

towards the a word assassination Tucker

Carlson said it I didn't say it I'm just

saying okay if for some reason the top

dog disappears for whatever reason

if you didn't upset all of the people

who were supporting that person well

what happens you could potentially fill

that void or if that doesn't happen you

could team up with a person it's a

brilliant strategy and that's why Donald

Trump finds himself in a position where

he can't say anything bad above a vague

it's brilliant and Vivek is echoing

similar mindsets that led to the

election of Donald Trump

now doing so with a younger

uh age let's just be straight about it

does come with some question of well how

are you going to do XYZ right we hear

Vivek say things like well you know

we're going to get rid of the Department

of Education oh we're gonna get rid of

the FBI and of course the first thing

people say is or like we're going to

introduce a bill that requires single

day voting okay great how are you going

to convince a democratically controlled

Senate what if you have full control how

are you going to get all senators and

representatives on board uh all of these

sort of minutia

interestingly in politics matter more

when the candidate is Young when the

candidate is older people have this

belief that oh well they know they'll

figure it out when they're young the

questions come up and this is why a

potential partnership could actually be

really interesting between the two

because you get those ideas from a

younger Vivek in partnership with Trump

who wants to clean up but maybe needs

that at least appearance of that younger

energy right I mean Donald Trump's

coming up on you know knocking on the

door of 80 as well so I find it really

interesting now uh what I also think is

that Donald Trump has a good point

although some people are making the

argument that maybe Trump feels a little

threatened in that Donald Trump in

talking to Glenn Beck says if he'd give

any advice to Vivek it would be to quote

I gotta tell him be a little bit careful

some things you have to hold in just a

little bit right he's starting to get

out there a little bit he's getting a

little bit controversial that when

Donald Trump is calling you

controversial it might be a sign but

it's interesting because some people are

saying oh is Trump getting threatened

well not if you look at the polls I mean

quite frankly if we go to the latest I

mean we know nobody really cares about

the polls okay polls are polls we know

that we know that but right now it's a

landslide I mean here we go Economist

yougov we've got Trump at 42 percent uh

for the Republican side to Santa's had

16 REM Swami at six okay uh you've got

Ram swanny no higher than eight over

here 10 over here you've got him at

three over here 13 over here five over

here nine over here in everyone where

the Republican was leading he's leading

by a massive margin where Trump 50 57 58

59 50 two and even in Battleground

States now in some of the latest polls

you know you've got Trump beating Biden

so Trump enhancing his take it with

maybe someone more aggressive in the

drain the swamp but back by the

experience of trump it could be a really

interesting ticket and it might lead

some to say Biden's gonna have to start

thinking about cleaning up how he wants

to run the campaign especially based on

where the economy could be next year

which nobody knows we're going to be in

recession deep recession shallow

recession Great Depression or is

everything back to the races like 2019 I
