NO JAIL FOR ELON MUSK | ELECTION VICTORY [Lottery Case]

hey sorry about this I have to re-upload

this video because I made a mistake in

the last one with audio but basically

Elon just won okay elon's not going to

jail there were a lot of Impressions

that Elon was going to go to jail for

putting together a you know an illegal

Lottery that's because there are

sections of the election code that

basically say if you bribe somebody to

register to vote you offer them liquor

beer social assistance uh Money Lottery

chances or anything

that resembles a bribe to get you to

register to vote that is a crime and

therefore a lot of people are putting

things together going oh Elon Musk is

going to jail well good news Elon Musk

at least for this I don't think at all

is going to jail uh he uh just won the

Philadelphia court just stated that the

Elon pack is allowed to continue and

proceed with their Lottery you can see

right here here's the petition the

petition for injunctive belief is denied

that is because some lawyers sued the

Elon Musk um political action committee

and basically beg the judge to force the

shutdown of Elon musk's $1

million uh you know support the petition

program now I'm going to explain this in

just a moment what actually ended up

happening potentially how they got

through this loophole we don't have a

Judicial statement just yet though

usually what happens when things are so

time sensitive it's the day before the

election usually what happens is you get

a really quick ruling and uh from a

judge you know it's just a bench uh

decision basically uh yeah this is very

common I've been through a process

myself these election related cases get

processed first and very very quickly

and a ruling will come later with the

decision and all the extra stuff I mean

the ruling is out but the decision and

all the notes and everything so one of

the defenses the musk Pac put together

political action committee was that

these are not actually randomly uh

selected winners

that this was not a lottery chance that

this was not a sweep Stakes that instead

if you signed the petition you actually

had the chance of basically being hired

by the political action committee uh and

you're paid a million dollar to become a

spokesperson for it okay well that's

very different you know people's

expectation I think is that people were

going to sign and then they had a chance

at a million dollars with they're

actually and you know random chance but

what it actually is is they went through

and uh presumably either had people sign

the petition and then hired other people

or they picked people from the petition

or maybe both just to sort of dilute it

and make it clear it's not a swi s

stakes and then they sort of just

handpick people they want to sort of be

representative of their campaign in

America said hey if you you know say XYZ

on camera will give you a million

dollars and there are plenty of examples

of of the uh Elon Pac uh videos where

you know people are sitting there with

their million dooll check and they're

like you know I just want to support

freedom in America I just want to

support the Constitution I want to

support Free Speech blah blah blah blah

blah uh and that's really what this is

It's really just a a theme or a tool for

how do you sort of gamify a little bit

uh the election make it fun make it

engaging get PR but then also sort of

pick who want to make it seem like they

want and these are just normal Americans

that are like yeah I want to sign for

this see because keep in mind look at

what the petition looks like the peti

petition right here uh says petition in

favor of free speech and the right to

bear arms uh the first and second

amendments guaranteeing free speech and

the right to bear arms by signing Bel

law and pledging my

support uh all right our goal is to get

1 million registered voters in swing

states to sign in support of the

constitution in free speech little dicey

little little dicey uh but uh then they

do say here each P person may sign the

petition once uh and uh you know they

they've mentioned here special offer for

Pennsylvania registered voters sign this

petition and get $100 refer a petition

signer and get $100 so it's it's

definitely Towing on the line but I'll

tell you I think this is a big win for

Elon Musk because really you got a lot

of mass media attention around this

people are like oh elon's going to go to

jail or people are like oh no you know

it's doing an illegal lottery or

whatever but really he got so much press

attention around this and is now

Vindicated by the judge that uh that

this was okay even though these might

all be spokes people now for the

campaign so here you've got a black

family with a child here you've got a

white family with a child here you've

got elderly folks here you got big

families here you got solo families here

you got small families with a cute dog

you know here's uh a group of people and

they all look like neighbors you know

here's an Asian family here's a d with a

hat a Maga hat you know whatever right

so I think the intention really is to

show different Generations different

backdrops you know I would say this

looks a little lower income over here

this particular backdrop whereas this

backdrop over here looks a little higher

income that right there is a 70s

fireplace which is really old school but

then again she's also older you know

this looks like sort of a quintessential

front yard this looks like your typical

kind of American family room this dude's

obviously in the country with the porch

out there

uh okay not everybody's I would guess

this is like Georgia right here I don't

know that's my just my take uh and uh

you know that's that's the whole

intention is to try to show different

walks of life you know these people here

they're probably from Palo Alto they

don't need this million dollars it's

probably like an extra 5 cents for them

I mean look at that Wayne scating come

on man that is that is sexy right there

look at that molding not so into this

the Lou door over here but I have to say

pretty impressive and she's very happy

uh but anyway so uh congrat

congratulations it's a big win for Elon
