pray for us... :( serious health issue

hey

it's 41 minutes past midnight

so we didn't mention anything

yet we

um well we have a little problem we just

had triplet

babies which is wonderful and really

exciting make sure I

but well one of them

we thought was going to be just fine

after she was stable with aites which is

like fluid in her abdomen area it turns

out she's not

fine and

so uh we wanted to pop back down to make

sure we could take care of our other

four children here uh and avoid this

hurricane or whatever that's going on in

California with all the flooding

um well it's

um we wanted to go back up

tomorrow to visit all three of them we

have one healthy girl named Violet she's

3

lb and uh 10 oz which is very little but

she is great breathing on her own and

wonderful we have a little boy who

uh was initially healthy but was born

with rapid

breathing uh or well had rapid breathing

which is an early sign of some

respiratory

distress he ended up having a something

called Numa thorax which is just um a

more pleasant way of saying his lung

collapsed after essentially a hole

was occurred in it and

um I was with him when that happened

well right after it happened and then as

they were repairing uh and I guess they

the way to repair it that the lung heals

itself and you provide surfactant and uh

mechanically pump it back up basically

but you have to make sure you get the

air pressure out of the chest cavity

it's just a disaster any he's he's

stable now though he's on a ventilator

he is breathing above the the the the

breathing

tube so that's good he's strong again

but and and this this tough with

triplets this this can happen uh these

are some of the most high-risk

pregnancies so it's just it's an odds

thing as well but it sucks

um so Jay is stable now

but

the other girl her name is

Summer uh she was born with aites again

fluid

accumulation uh fluid was drained when

she was born and there was this belief

that air got in through the

draining uh and and accumulated in her

chest cavity which led to some air spots

on her

x-ray um yesterday they drained another

7 oz of fluid from

her cavity um stomach cavity area close

to like the intestines and that and uh

she was stable no breathing tube

required you know just

CPAP everything's looking better not

enlarging again because she's she's got

a belly it's almost like she's a

pregnant baby uh and

um we thought okay well they're there

are cases where this goes away and there

is no

underlying well that is not this case

she is now going in for emergency

surgery ASAP so I will not be lost

I don't know when I'm going to be

posting my next

video and I just wanted to give you a

heads

up
