0:01

Is Donald Trump a fascist dictator

0:03

holding a military parade on his

0:06

birthday or is this something else? In

0:09

this video, I'm going to give you my

0:10

opinion. So, if you're not interested in

0:12

my opinion, you can X out and move on to

0:14

the next video. Just went on a run,

0:16

spent a little bit of time in the gym.

0:18

I've got a little bit of a

0:19

disproportionate balance where I like

0:21

becoming more orange out in the sun and

0:23

spending less time in the gym. Maybe

0:24

I'll flip that balance at one point. But

0:26

the argument is very simple. Donald

0:28

Trump on one side is a king, a fascist

0:32

dictator, somebody who wants to see a

0:34

Kim Jong U or Kim Jong- depending on

0:38

which generation you most recall

0:42

style military presentation of might and

0:45

weaponry. When on the other hand, people

0:49

on the other side say, "No, this is just

0:50

a celebration of the various different

0:52

battles that the military has fought in

0:54

and won. This is a an anniversary date,

0:58

the 250th anniversary of the US Army. It

1:02

celebrates a remarkable uh time for the

1:05

US Army in victory after victory.

1:07

Although obviously not every battle and

1:10

Vietnam was a little poopy dupy, okay,

1:12

maybe we had some problems in

1:13

Afghanistan and Iraq as well. You know,

1:15

we didn't end up finding those nukes.

1:17

We're told they're in Iran now. But

1:19

those are all for a different video. The

1:21

point of this is more to say, hey, like

1:24

is is this a parade for a fascist king

1:27

or is this a parade for another purpose?

1:31

The most convincing argument that I find

1:35

for something that relates to me as an

1:37

individual is frankly the argument of

1:40

military recruitment. In 2025, for the

1:43

first time through March of the year,

1:46

all active duty military branches have

1:48

exceeded their recruitment goals. Some

1:50

attribute this to Donald Trump's

1:52

election victory and a thought that the

1:53

military might actually be able to act

1:55

uh with a bit more power than they were

1:57

able to under the Biden administration.

1:58

However, to balance this, other people

2:01

actually credit the Biden administration

2:02

for uh limiting uh you know, removing

2:05

obstacles uh such as CO 19 restrictions

2:09

uh that were related to in-person

2:11

recruiting uh a lot of competition in

2:13

the private sector uh industry which you

2:16

know in 2022 2023 the job market was

2:18

much more plentiful with higher paying

2:20

jobs. Now we're in an environment where

2:22

there's significantly fewer higherp

2:23

paying jobs. That could be a contributor

2:25

as well. But it's worth noting that the

2:27

Associated Press reports that the US

2:29

military spent more than $6 billion over

2:31

the past 3 years to recruit and retain

2:32

service members. Now, what I think is

2:34

really interesting on this note, in

2:37

addition to some of the Biden topics

2:38

such as larger enlistment bonuses,

2:40

preparatory courses, and updated

2:42

recruiting strategies, that's what some

2:43

people give Biden a benefit for. Other

2:45

people say no, it's Trump's Trump's the

2:47

reason why there's more recruitment.

2:49

Other people say it's more economical.

2:51

It's because there is a limited

2:53

availability of jobs. So, you may as

2:55

well enlist, get some more education,

2:56

and then after you get more education,

2:58

maybe the jobs market will be better.

2:59

It's actually not a terrible argument,

3:01

especially since you can actually learn

3:02

like serious skills in the military,

3:04

especially trades in the military that

3:06

you can learn as well, which could be

3:07

very useful, especially in this day and

3:08

age of artificial intelligence. So, all

3:12

of it said, when we see military parade

3:15

really of any kind, what it does for me

3:17

personally is it sort of evokes the uh

3:20

female fighter pilots that uh you

3:22

constantly see these I feel like they're

3:24

almost put together by the military for

3:26

advertising purposes, but you've got

3:28

female jet pilots in the Air Force that

3:31

uh frequently put together these these

3:33

phenomenal Tik Tok videos uh on on

3:35

flying fighter jets. And I'll tell you,

3:37

as a 33-year-old dude who's into ladies,

3:42

this is freaking awesome. Okay? Like I I

3:44

ended up becoming a jet pilot, I think

3:47

in part because I was watching those

3:48

videos. Now, obviously, I I fly a

3:51

different type of jet. But I like I as

3:53

as like a dude, I get really excited

3:55

about this is freaking awesome. Like

3:57

it's cool. Uh, you know, the big

3:59

weapons, the big machinery, the big

4:02

jets, the fighter planes, the stealth

4:04

bombers, recon, Jason Bourne kind of CIA

4:07

stuff. I love that stuff. And hey, if

4:10

we're going to spend, you know, 50

4:11

to$100 million on a parade, it actually

4:14

might end up being pretty damn cheap

4:17

recruitment for people who are like, you

4:20

know, jobs market is kind of crap right

4:22

now. Hey, never thought about it before.

4:25

I could I could join the chair force. I

4:27

mean, the Air Force, no, no disrespect

4:29

for the Air Force, okay? I'm I'm pilot,

4:30

too. I love it. Okay, I sit in the I

4:32

gained so much weight I feel like when I

4:34

became a pilot cuz I wasn't actually

4:36

moving in fairness. Okay, so a lot of

4:39

sitting in the chair. Okay, anyway, I

4:41

can't unberry myself out of that one.

4:43

It's okay. Leave me a hate comment. I

4:44

deserve it. I deserve it. Give it to me.

4:46

Anyway, u you know, whatever branch of

4:49

military you want to join, it's exciting

4:51

and it actually, if you think about it,

4:54

it gets you past whatever bull crap

4:55

happens economically. So, if you're, you

4:57

know, 18 to 28 right now, you know, sort

5:00

of that prime recruiting age might be

5:02

closer to 27 cut off, that prime

5:04

recruitment age, CIA, uh, you know,

5:07

military. This is the time where I feel

5:08

like our country needs us the most with

5:11

Iran failing negotiations with Donald

5:14

Trump, whether it's Donald Trump's fault

5:15

or not. Uh Putin becoming more

5:17

aggressive, also failing negotiations

5:19

with Donald Trump. Again, whether it's

5:20

Donald Trump or not doesn't matter.

5:22

China becoming more aggressive. Now,

5:23

we've got oil wells attacked in Iran,

5:26

which limit the oil imports that China

5:28

could receive because Iran exports a lot

5:31

of energy over to China. Uh and

5:33

obviously, we're in a trade war with

5:35

China with fears that China might end up

5:38

invading Taiwan one day. Now is probably

5:41

a good a time as any if you're on the

5:42

edge to think about the military and

5:45

this 250th day celebration honestly

5:48

probably couldn't come at a better time.

5:50

So, I will put aside any uh broader

5:55

biases over, hey, it's just it's just

5:57

flag day, okay? Or Trump's a fascist,

5:59

this is a birthday, like whatever. From

6:02

the point of view of people watching

6:04

this right now who are like, man, you

6:06

know, I have been looking for something

6:07

to do. You know, I I I didn't go to

6:10

college or I did go to college, but I

6:11

can't get a job. There's so many great

6:14

skills you can learn in the military and

6:16

frankly I think this military parade

6:19

could be a catalyst for additional

6:22

military recruitment. 2025 already the

6:24

first year that we have met our military

6:26

recruitment goals in all branches of the

6:28

military. Something we haven't seen

6:29

since before co uh military enlistment

6:32

has already been declining you know for

6:34

the last 50 years uh probably because we

6:36

frankly have a smaller need for a

6:38

standing army but who knows these days.

6:41

Anyway, massive respect to all the

6:43

veterans out there, fellow pilots, I

6:45

love you. And uh yeah, I think I'm sold

6:49

on this one. I'm okay with it as a

6:51

recruiting
