FULL TRANSCRIPT

0:00

in this video I'm going to break down an

0:02

over two hour conversation between a

0:04

Vivek a candidate for president will

0:07

link his information down below and Elon

0:10

Musk moderated by David Sachs going to

0:14

do my best even though I'm not

0:16

personally feeling my best in fact I'm a

0:18

little nauseous I'm a little sick but

0:19

you know what I gave me a lot of time to

0:22

listen to this and give you a synopsis

0:24

of it so without further Ado here we go

0:27

Vivek is the candidate who says he was

0:30

able to create a multi-billion dollar

0:32

company while getting married and having

0:34

two kids he started out his conversation

0:37

very strong he says he's worried about

0:39

the American dream that Americans are

0:42

striving for purpose and because they're

0:44

striving for purpose we're unfortunately

0:46

falling victim to self-hate like

0:49

flogging yourself or as Elon Musk says

0:53

punching yourself in the face with

0:55

basically things that don't matter like

0:58

wokism now Vivek wanted to extend that

1:01

to some of the extreme climate change

1:04

sort of fight that we've potentially

1:06

seen and Elon was probably not the best

1:09

person to say that to since Elon quickly

1:11

defended how important it is to make

1:13

sure we don't mess up the Earth we have

1:15

here and how he spends his blood and

1:17

sweat and tears fighting for climate or

1:21

the climate in America and the world

1:23

it's this is a global issue this is a

1:25

human issue now Vivek and Elon were able

1:29

to agree that of course we should focus

1:31

on individual achievement and purpose

1:34

and maybe because we don't really have a

1:37

wider common enemy we find enemies

1:39

within each other you know how united we

1:42

got after 9 11 that kind of unity is

1:45

missing much like Rome was able to

1:48

survive for 2000 years because they had

1:50

common enemies outside of the Roman

1:53

Empire rather than enemies basically

1:56

within it which could ultimately lead to

1:58

its collapse which was a lot of the

2:00

debating that was going on between Elon

2:02

and Vivek was this pessimism about the

2:05

future elon's suggestion for how to

2:08

solve this was rescinding donations to

2:11

Big colleges that teach anti-americanism

2:14

basically corporations or donors who try

2:19

to influence what we teach individuals

2:23

through a liberal arts education and

2:26

essentially indoctrinate them into hey

2:28

if you're white you're bad if you

2:30

succeed you're bad if you're successful

2:32

you're bad these are issues that we

2:35

should strive for in terms of

2:37

achievement and success and of course be

2:40

colorblind to things like skin color and

2:44

instead basically encourage success off

2:47

of Merit which is something that Vivek

2:49

really tries to double down on now I

2:53

personally ran for governor in

2:55

California and I came in second out of

2:57

recall candidates with almost a million

2:59

votes what I thought was amazing was

3:02

that Vivek adopted a similar mindset at

3:06

the start which I had as well which was

3:07

equal opportunity equal chance

3:11

regardless of the color of your skin but

3:14

also elon's opinion of the focus on

3:18

education now Vivek didn't Echo this as

3:21

much as I really wish he would have

3:23

Vivek had a great start with hey we got

3:25

to make sure the American dream is there

3:27

for our children I argued that in

3:29

California what am I supposed to tell my

3:31

children about why I raised them in

3:33

California without crazy California is

3:35

becoming so they took a similar angle

3:37

here as I did during my Governor

3:39

campaign but in my Governor campaign I

3:41

had a really clear road map for what I

3:44

called future schools which was

3:45

basically incorporating trade skills in

3:50

our schools financial accounting trade

3:52

skills and practical skills so that

3:55

every high schooler could graduate at 18

3:58

without the need to to go to an

4:01

additional trade school or college in

4:03

other words everybody would have some

4:05

kind of skill to fall back on that is

4:07

missing today a lot of people graduated

4:09

18 without the opportunity or ability

4:12

should I say to do anything there might

4:14

be plenty of opportunities but the

4:15

ability to do anything might be lacking

4:17

I really wish Vivek had a stronger

4:19

message here he really agreed with Elon

4:22

that yeah those donations to the woke

4:25

promoting institutions is bad fine we

4:29

can agree with Elon on that but elon's

4:31

not running for office I think Vivek

4:33

needs a stronger message here but in

4:36

spirit I agreed in meritocracy the next

4:39

thing that I also agree with both Elon

4:41

and vivekan and is also something that I

4:44

ran for when I was running for governor

4:46

was finally streamlining our immigration

4:49

processes the concern in America is that

4:52

hey why do we want to let other people

4:54

in when you know they're just going to

4:56

come in here and use our social services

4:58

and then our text dollars will go to

5:00

support them I personally don't agree

5:03

with that and I don't think evivec and

5:05

Elon agree with either I think what we

5:08

should be promoting though is that if

5:09

somebody is capable of moving from a

5:12

different country to America and then

5:13

being employed not taking somebody

5:15

else's job but being employed providing

5:18

skills that are unique but not extreme

5:21

skills like you don't need a PhD the way

5:23

you do now or some kind of crazy stem uh

5:26

achievement to be able to essentially

5:29

make it into America instead anybody who

5:32

can prove that they would have the

5:34

opportunity to work for a company or

5:37

create a business where there currently

5:39

isn't one or whatever just to Foster

5:41

competition and basically be

5:43

self-sustaining well they should be able

5:46

to apply and have a streamlined

5:49

immigration legal immigration process

5:51

supporting illegal immigration and then

5:54

providing free services for illegal

5:56

immigrants I don't think sets the best

5:59

precedent because now we're inviting

6:01

essentially anybody in to break the law

6:04

not the biggest fan of that of course I

6:06

understand there are always

6:07

circumstances and edges around a core

6:10

ideal but I think Vivek could have

6:12

really doubled down a little bit more on

6:14

hey how exactly are we going to enable

6:18

people to come into America with a more

6:21

streamlined immigration process we can

6:23

all agree in spirit that the legal

6:25

immigration process sucks and basically

6:27

what people do is they just get married

6:29

and then they live a full life for a

6:32

couple of years until their immigration

6:33

appointment and then they make it in

6:34

beyond that we've got to actually

6:37

streamline the immigration process by

6:39

reforming it and I didn't get a lot of

6:41

color on that from Vivek although

6:43

usually in America we tend to get lost

6:45

in the me weeds so maybe there's a

6:48

method to his Madness of not providing

6:50

too much detail but anyway Elon and

6:54

Vivek uh well Elon made a good analogy

6:56

here about how look if there are Ace

6:57

players on other teams in other words

6:59

people from other countries we should be

7:01

able to have them join our team and we

7:03

could all Crush together this optimistic

7:05

view that hey look adding people is a

7:08

net benefit to everyone now Vivek then

7:11

talked about how he you know was the

7:14

founder of this company that you know

7:16

launched many Pharmaceuticals and

7:18

otherwise

7:19

I lost Vivek a little bit here I wasn't

7:23

as excited about vivek's past as I

7:27

thought I would now before I go into

7:29

this next segment I just have to give

7:30

you disclaimer because we're about to

7:32

look at some financials for a company

7:34

that Vivek is involved in and I want to

7:36

give you a heads up look I cover Finance

7:38

daily on this channel and really news

7:41

that makes you money often that does

7:43

involve Politics as well because

7:44

political decisions can affect the way

7:47

we make money I teach how to build your

7:49

wealth and really how anybody can become

7:51

a millionaire and a zero to millionaire

7:52

real estate investing course stocks and

7:54

psychology of money and plenty other

7:56

programs on building your wealth

7:57

including how to make more money with

7:59

artificial intelligence or as an

8:01

employee or as an entrepreneur in other

8:03

words you want to be more productive and

8:04

you want to make more money some really

8:06

good programs linked down below I am a

8:08

licensed financial advisor as well and I

8:11

run an actively managed ETF so when I go

8:13

through this I want you to know that I I

8:16

look at balance sheets and income

8:18

statements on a daily basis and while I

8:20

haven't read every word of this filing I

8:22

do have some concerns with this company

8:24

that Vivek help found but before we look

8:27

at the financials a bit of background

8:29

according to the nyt which I know many

8:32

people are going to throw their hands up

8:33

and go ah come on this is going to be

8:35

biased but listen to at least the

8:37

allegation and then let Vivek defend it

8:39

in the future but I'll show you the

8:40

financials first right after this

8:43

preface here apparently in 2014 Vivek

8:47

founded this company Roi event Sciences

8:50

I call it Roi Advanced Sciences because

8:52

that's actually what the allegation here

8:54

is that the company's Roi stands for

8:57

return on investment which was a really

8:59

interesting way to name a pharmaceutical

9:01

company that the priority was return on

9:03

investment rather than like you know

9:05

life sciences or something that was like

9:07

promoting actual biological outcome

9:09

right but anyway uh promoted or founded

9:12

this in Bermuda which is a tax Haven

9:15

area with a hundred million dollars in

9:17

funding for the hedge fund that he

9:19

worked for after college then what they

9:21

did is they ended up buying for five

9:25

million dollars a patent for a specific

9:28

Alzheimer's drug that GlaxoSmithKline

9:32

had given up on after four failed trials

9:35

now later that drug would go on to fail

9:40

it didn't end up succeeding and I'm

9:43

talking within the eight years

9:45

thereafter no success it never succeeded

9:49

but guess what happened in the meantime

9:51

six months before starting any new

9:55

trials on this failed drug that he

9:57

bought the rights for for five million

9:59

dollars he ended up taking axovant

10:02

public so in other words he carved out

10:04

part of the company that he bought for

10:06

five million dollars with this hedge

10:09

fund backed money and then ipo'd the

10:12

company for three billion dollars that

10:16

company today is public and it's worth

10:19

over 8.9 billion dollars which you might

10:22

think hey like that's amazing it must be

10:26

doing really well if it's worth over 8.9

10:28

billion dollars today right well that's

10:31

where the cynicism of the New York Times

10:34

story gets me scratching my head and I

10:36

go well maybe they started with Rocky

10:39

foundations but maybe things have gotten

10:41

better right

10:42

no this is a company that in 2022 Roi

10:48

Advanced Sciences again I'm purposely

10:49

mispronouncing it because that's what

10:51

they created this name for anyway

10:54

for 2022 the company had zero product

10:58

revenue and 55 million dollars in

11:01

licensing Revenue

11:02

in 2023 they finally had some revenues

11:06

but 28 million dollars of revenues 33

11:09

million dollars of Licensing revenue and

11:11

here's the wild part I understand when a

11:15

company loses or spends nearly half a

11:18

billion dollars on research and

11:20

development I get that but why would a

11:23

company spending half a billion dollars

11:26

on research and development also be

11:29

spending over half a billion dollars 600

11:33

million dollars on selling General and

11:36

administrative fees much of which

11:39

includes stock based calm

11:42

so hold on a second a company with

11:45

nearly no revenues

11:47

is dumping a ton of money in the selling

11:50

and the administrating of a company that

11:53

isn't really selling a product they're

11:56

researching a potential product but

11:58

anyway this company is literally losing

12:00

over a billion dollars a year and so the

12:05

history of where Vivek got his money

12:07

from which apparently now he only owns

12:10

about 15 percent of this company which

12:12

is still great I mean 15 of 8.9 billion

12:16

dollars still makes you a billionaire

12:18

even if that's only 10 percent off of

12:20

the other gains he's taken in the past

12:21

great and who knows maybe the company's

12:23

falling into some kind of management

12:25

disrepair or dysfunction or whatever

12:28

but let's just say if there was one

12:30

thing that I just didn't love that I

12:33

looked up when I started digging into

12:35

some of the financials of vivek's past

12:37

it's this and it made me scratch my head

12:40

a little bit hmm wouldn't that be a

12:43

great way to kind of you know get

12:45

attention after you graduate from

12:47

college and you have some hedge fund

12:49

backing hey let's just take a

12:52

pharmaceutical public and Market it

12:54

really well and it almost feels like

12:57

that's kind of what the company is still

12:58

doing today marketing itself really well

13:00

so then I wonder

13:02

is there detail behind what Vivek is

13:05

running for as a candidate and I would

13:07

like to actually see that detail because

13:09

we know he's smooth spoken but where's

13:12

his detail see when I ran for governor I

13:15

gave more detail than anybody asked for

13:17

and partly that was probably a problem

13:20

because then people again get into the

13:22

weeds and politics of all your details

13:24

oh well you know I don't like exactly

13:27

how you do this detail who knows maybe

13:29

that's how you're supposed to run for

13:31

politics I don't know it wasn't my

13:32

opinion but that was sort of a a red

13:35

flag for me so I'd like to see some more

13:37

color on that because he talks a big

13:39

game but the way this big money came

13:42

about is a little eyebrow raising to me

13:45

let's just say and who knows so far I

13:48

have to say I like some of the things he

13:50

says I don't necessarily love the idea

13:53

of let's delete the FBI and basically

13:57

fire 15 000 uh or sorry twenty thousand

14:00

back office workers take the other 15

14:02

thousand and allocate them to other

14:05

entities that already exist like the US

14:07

Marshals service or the Department of

14:09

Justice or otherwise I think there's

14:11

probably going to be a hole there and

14:14

don't get me wrong I definitely disagree

14:15

with some of the things we saw the FBI

14:17

getting involved with especially as we

14:19

saw in the Twitter files but there's

14:22

probably going to be some kind of hole

14:24

left if you just go in and we're

14:26

deleting the FBI on day one which is

14:28

something that Vivek says Nah it won't

14:30

leave a hole we'll be fine

14:33

okay maybe a little bit more detail

14:36

would be useful here that unfortunately

14:40

could cast Vivek on a little bit more of

14:44

an extreme side which I think most

14:46

Americans are just looking for somebody

14:48

to give them the straight scoop and this

14:50

is actually something I really like a

14:52

Vivek where he says look Americans can

14:55

handle the truth we deserve to know the

14:58

truth on vaccine safety covet Origins

15:02

the hunter Biden story or corruption on

15:05

any side of government and this I

15:07

wholeheartedly agree with vividcon I

15:09

agree that people deserve and can handle

15:12

the truth just tell them the truth about

15:15

what's going on or what's happening

15:17

behind the scenes why we're not enabling

15:21

an oversight office for like a new

15:24

Inspector General to audit essentially

15:26

the expenditures in Ukraine is

15:29

mind-blowing it's something that Vivek

15:31

and Elon Musk shake their heads that out

15:34

of disgust apparently this was blocked

15:36

by Senate Democrats maybe there are some

15:38

other reasons for it maybe it's a topic

15:40

for a different video but there was also

15:42

a lot of frustration over Ukraine and it

15:45

wasn't just because of this uh blocking

15:48

of the audit but it was also the idea of

15:50

why are we fighting a war in a trench

15:54

warfare style where we're getting maybe

15:56

inches to feet to maybe a few miles of

16:00

territory through trench warfare and

16:03

thousands to hundreds of thousands of

16:05

young men essentially are dying in

16:08

trench warfare as Elon Musk says the

16:12

flowers of the Young Generation of

16:15

Ukrainian youth is dying and this is bad

16:19

why is the West rejecting Ukrainian

16:22

neutrality why are we pushing for NATO

16:25

expansion so much as David sacks argued

16:27

why are we escalating ourselves into

16:29

World War III NATO expansion is a red

16:33

line for for Russia so why don't we stop

16:35

that NATO expansion this is something

16:38

that Vivek agrees with and so does RFK

16:41

let's stop NATO expansion and let's have

16:44

cooler heads prevailing here because in

16:46

war nobody wins Elon argues that

16:49

ultimately this war may have gotten to

16:52

zielinski's head and there could be some

16:54

problems here now moving on it's worth

16:58

noting that there were some

16:59

conversations about Fidel Castro and

17:01

about Putin and about regime change and

17:04

bureaucracy and the conversation really

17:06

went on for quite a while I've done my

17:10

best to hit all of the meat of the

17:12

matter I got out of this conversation

17:14

and I have to say out of two hours of

17:17

talking I didn't get a lot of what are

17:21

you going to do for us Vivek and if

17:23

there would be a recommendation I could

17:25

give to any politician it would be

17:27

please tell me how you are going to fix

17:31

our schools how are you going to fix our

17:35

government how are you going to make us

17:39

have more faith that we can actually get

17:42

daily matters done that actually apply

17:46

to Americans whether it's fiscal

17:49

sustainability and the deficit spending

17:51

that we keep running up why are we

17:53

spending more money on issues that maybe

17:56

don't matter so much to individual

17:58

Americans instead of issues that do

18:00

matter like health and safety or gosh

18:03

our schools and law enforcement why is

18:06

there lawlessness both at the border and

18:08

in our cities what can we do to solve

18:10

these issues that affect us at home why

18:13

are people dying on the streets of

18:15

America to homelessness these are the

18:17

things that we should be talking about

18:19

and I wish there was more color on these

18:22

topics and we didn't get those out of

18:25

this conversation now maybe they'll come

18:27

up in other conversations but this is

18:30

the summary that I got from Elon

18:32

confronting Vivint hopefully you

18:35

appreciated my summary if you do check

18:36

out the programs on building your wealth

18:37

18:43

found it useful we'll see in the next

18:45

one and hopefully

18:46

I feel better because I think I get a

18:48

new bathroom again now I want you to

18:50

know this when it comes to AI time is

18:53

what's going to make you money and if

18:55

you can prove that value to an employer

18:58

you'll always be able to be employed so

19:01

this is another way of making sure that

19:02

you don't get replaced by artificial

19:05

intelligence if you can Master AI by
