0:00

now we've heard a lot about the

0:01

Nordstrom pipeline but in this segment

0:03

I'm going to tell you about something

0:05

crazy because I got a lot of family in

0:07

Germany and something that I just read

0:11

kind of blows my mind a little bit about

0:13

what Germans think about Russia and

0:15

Ukraine but not only are we going to

0:17

talk about that of course we're going to

0:19

talk about the north stream pipeline so

0:20

they're they're basically multiple

0:22

allegations at this point right the

0:24

United States government wants to make

0:25

the argument that and I'm going to

0:27

summarize this to try to speed you up in

0:29

case you don't know all the background

0:30

I'm going to speed you up as fast as

0:31

possible okay you ready for this US

0:33

government says Russia bombed their own

0:35

pipeline because basically the argument

0:36

is well Russia knew we were never going

0:38

to use their Russian natural gas anymore

0:39

uh because it's a pipeline that goes

0:41

well two pipelines that go from Russia

0:43

to Germany and we weren't going to use

0:44

their natural gas anyway so why not blow

0:46

up the pipeline to basically punish

0:48

Europe is the sort of the conventional

0:51

argument and Russia basically committed

0:53

sabotage against their own pipeline is

0:55

the theory and of course the county

0:56

theory is why would they do that they

0:57

could literally just turn off the tap

0:59

they don't have to destroy

1:00

infrastructure they spent three to five

1:03

billion dollars on on manufacturing okay

1:05

that's that's one argument now of course

1:08

we have the idea that why would Joe

1:10

Biden say at a press conference when

1:13

asked hey how are you going to stop the

1:15

production of the nordstream 2 pipeline

1:16

why would you say essentially and I'm

1:19

paraphrasing here a little bit but you

1:20

could see this video all over the

1:21

internet

1:22

we will make sure there is an end to the

1:25

north stream pipeline right that's his

1:27

response sort of implying that look if

1:28

we need to take it out ourselves we will

1:30

and so the mainstream argument is that

1:33

Russia bombed the pipeline now

1:34

unfortunately though the mainstream

1:36

narrative is falling apart for the

1:38

people who believe the mainstream

1:39

narrative with even companies like the

1:42

Washington Post so the Washington Post

1:44

leans left it's in my opinion very

1:46

important to understand media bias

1:48

because it gives us insight into which

1:50

way they lean so we know where where

1:52

their biases are and then we know okay

1:53

like when they say something that's

1:55

potentially anti that buys maybe there's

1:57

more credibility to it maybe you know

1:59

potentially you can have that argument

2:00

so the Washington Post tends to lean

2:01

pretty far left and if the mainstream

2:03

argument is oh Russia bombed it the

2:05

Washington Post has actually done

2:06

multiple pieces now arguing there is

2:09

zero evidence that Russia bombed its own

2:12

pipeline so then on the Other Extreme

2:14

you have this argument that it was

2:16

actually and this was a reporter uh

2:18

who's broken stories on the Vietnam War

2:20

this is a Pulitzer prize-winning

2:21

reporter this person has an incredible

2:23

history but anyway there's this reporter

2:25

who wrote down here's how the United

2:26

States could have basically bombed the

2:28

Nordstrom Pipeline and the argument is

2:29

the CIA would have worked with mil the

2:32

military like the Navy and the Navy of

2:34

of Norway or other countries and

2:36

basically the CIA probably placed

2:38

plastic explosive with navy divers on

2:42

the pipelines because you had combined

2:44

three explosions in three different

2:46

locations placed plastic explosive

2:48

encased in concrete the reason you

2:51

encase it in concrete is a so the

2:53

explosion can actually occur B so the

2:55

explosion is directed into the pipeline

2:58

rather than out into the water right I

3:00

mean the concrete's going to break

3:00

anyway but it directs more of the energy

3:02

into the pipeline so you put plus so if

3:05

this is a pipeline you stick plastic

3:06

explosive on the side which is encased

3:08

in concrete the explosion goes in

3:09

ruptures the pipeline boom methane goes

3:12

everywhere right now the gas lines were

3:14

not being used at the time nonetheless

3:15

you still have potentially between 100

3:18

000 to 500 000 metric tons of methane

3:21

that likely leak according to the Danish

3:23

government that's probably about five

3:26

times more than the largest methane leak

3:28

we've ever seen in 2016 the Aliso Canyon

3:31

pipeline leak in or facility leak in

3:34

California and so the equivalent of that

3:37

basically is like burning 5 billion

3:40

gallons of gas is what some people say

3:43

although others say nah this is actually

3:45

more like a leak of methane that would

3:47

be the equivalent of two to maybe five

3:50

days of actually just regular

3:52

transportation in the world from Planes

3:54

cars boats trucks whatever so like yes

3:57

it was a big methane leak was it really

3:59

that big of a deal yes for one moment it

4:01

was very historic but in the grand

4:03

scheme of things does it really change

4:05

much for climate change probably not so

4:08

so some people kind of water that down

4:09

although yes it was a very very large

4:12

explosion of or release of methane

4:14

condensed at one point again the impacts

4:16

of that uncertain but anyway going back

4:18

to the CIA allegation because you've got

4:19

the mainstream argument then you've got

4:20

the CIA allegation the CIA is that these

4:23

bombs were attached to the pipeline not

4:25

only are the bombs attached to the

4:26

pipeline but they're not on timers

4:28

they're actually activated by

4:30

potentially dropping a buoy like a water

4:33

floating object uh on the surface of the

4:38

water so a plane can fly by whenever you

4:40

want it to happen plane fly spy drops a

4:43

buoy the buoy then releases sonar

4:45

signals but not just any kind of sonar

4:47

signal because Wales send sonar signals

4:51

uh you know whatever so instead it would

4:55

sing basically a sonar tune as kind of

4:58

like an eerie violin on the Titanic and

5:01

as soon as that sequence of sonar ends

5:04

it triggers the C4 to explode blowing up

5:06

the three pipelines without making it

5:09

actually seem like there were any divers

5:10

or boats in the area well now so so

5:13

that's another thesis so you have one

5:14

thesis which is Russia did it the other

5:16

thesis is know the United States did it

5:18

now the new sort of revised mainstream

5:21

argument is that oh well it's actually a

5:24

pro-ukrainian group that ended up uh

5:27

blowing up this pipeline this Pro

5:30

Ukrainian group

5:32

somehow basically dove into the depths

5:35

which are only about 80 yards deep at

5:37

the side of the explosion using

5:39

potentially submersible drones or divers

5:41

or Surface ships or whatever uh were

5:43

were the people who bombed this now Pro

5:45

Ukrainian groups which zelenski says he

5:48

has no idea about could really be anyone

5:50

right it could literally be a Splinter

5:53

Cell of the CIA not to bring back

5:55

memories of the game's Splinter Cell

5:57

best game ever okay Splinter Cell

5:58

Pandora tomorrow in Chaos Theory do not

6:00

hold a candle do anything else in other

6:03

words nothing else holds a candle anyway

6:05

you know what I mean so so anyway so now

6:07

there's this new argument that oh no no

6:08

it was actually just pro-ukrainian

6:10

saboteurs it wasn't even a government

6:12

yeah okay come on man this is like bull

6:14

crap but whatever but what's actually

6:16

really interesting out of all of this is

6:19

that apparently German authorities uh

6:21

and the German media is now suggesting

6:24

that a small team of saboteurs actually

6:26

had a rented yacht from Poland who was

6:28

owned by two ukrainians who were

6:30

apparently able to use that yacht to to

6:32

go dive down and plant these plastic

6:34

explosives or whatever now whether that

6:37

was those were CAA you know individuals

6:39

or whatever who knows the point is the

6:42

damn thing blew up okay got it somebody

6:43

did it it was probably funded by either

6:46

EU and the United States but we'll never

6:48

probably know that with certainty but

6:50

the point here is that Germans are

6:53

actually finding that the danger of

6:56

potentially seeing that a pro-ukrainian

7:00

group blew this pipeline up could

7:02

potentially weaken NATO support for

7:05

Ukraine which is already starting to

7:07

weaken in Germany because in a weird way

7:09

you're seeing a lot of Germans who are

7:11

actually somewhat sympathetic and this

7:12

sounds crazy sympathetic to Russia and

7:15

the reason and I'm like I'm mind blown

7:17

because I got family in Germany and I'm

7:19

like what like a lot of people in

7:21

Germany apparently don't like solinsky

7:23

and I'm like I feel like I'm whispering

7:25

saying that because I'm like that's

7:25

weird but but that's apparently the

7:28

mainstream media in Germany is like

7:29

people don't like zielinski and the idea

7:31

is that uh that it can continuously

7:34

funding this NATO expansion is exactly

7:36

what we should not be doing now at the

7:39

same time as this NATO expansion is

7:41

happening you know the United States is

7:42

like no no no we're not going to send

7:44

f-16s to Europe but what are we seeing

7:48

well you've got people on the house

7:49

armed services committee saying the only

7:51

reason we're not sending f-16s yet is

7:54

because it's probably going to take us a

7:55

year to send Parts planes and train

7:58

Pilots to send f-16s to Ukraine to help

8:00

them potentially go attack Russia well

8:03

that's potentially where you get more of

8:04

a World War III approach right now

8:06

there's a lot of drama about Bak moot

8:08

obviously because this is where the

8:09

ukrainians are like oh no we're losing

8:11

and the US is like no it doesn't matter

8:12

if you're losing and then you've got the

8:14

Wagner Group which is a a hodgepodge of

8:16

like convicts and criminals who are

8:18

basically mercenaries who are freed from

8:20

jail to work for Russia who are acting

8:22

like they're being abandoned by Russia

8:24

and so everybody's kind of using the

8:25

propaganda of Bak moot to get more

8:27

funding for their side the Russian side

8:29

and the Ukrainian side the point is

8:31

everything is a complete disaster the

8:34

biggest takeaway from all of this in my

8:36

opinion Nordstrom pipelines the Germans

8:38

the ukrainians Russians the pile of

8:40

fighter pilots going there the biggest

8:41

takeaway out of all of this is there is

8:43

no obvious end game and probably it's

8:46

going to take quite a while for

8:48

basically politicians to realize that

8:51

their constituents Americans Germans

8:53

Russians ukrainians whatever are tired

8:55

of the war and only then can we have a

8:57

negotiated settlement but right now this

8:59

is a war of attrition Russia has more

9:00

soldiers they're willing to use those

9:02

soldiers the the West continues to

9:04

provide more and more Weaponry there's

9:06

no obvious end game here and the more of

9:08

this drama that happens and the more

9:10

pain we see in areas like bakmud or

9:12

otherwise the longer this is going to go

9:15

on and unfortunately it's terrible so

9:18

that's the latest on Ukraine hopefully

9:22

that is useful to you I am now going to

9:24

the course member live stream goodbye

9:26

and we'll see you in the next one thank

9:27

you so much for watching as always
