A triangular bandage is a large triangular-shaped piece of cloth.

They can also be used to cut sticky tape to the required length.

1:28

Some other common items that might be useful

1:30

are cling film or clean plastic bags for dressing burns and scalds.

Use alcohol gel to clean your hands if you don't have any water.

1:37

A blanket, survival bag, torch, and whistle are useful for helping people outdoors.

1:48

So remember: make sure you have a first aid kit

1:50

and make sure you know how to use it.
