the worst thing you can insult people

about is their intelligence if you imply

that somebody is stupid you are in a lot

of trouble but you want to be able to do

the opposite you want to play a sucker

to catch a sucker now one thing that I

often do that you're probably going to

think is really Machiavellian and evil

is I'll kind of initiate an argument

with somebody but I don't really believe

what I'm arguing I'm kind of just

playing Devil's Advocate and there kind

of say no Robert you're wrong and they

have all these arguments and at the end

I go you know you're right I actually

agree with you you actually made really

good points suddenly they're feeling wow

I'm smarter than he is and you know all

of their resistance to me all their

defenses have fallen to very very

powerful technique
