You don't have to solve your problems
FULL TRANSCRIPT
So here's the key mistake that people
make. People think that in order to fix
a problem that is messing up your life,
you need to solve the problem. That's
technically incorrect. You don't have to
solve the problem. You need to act
towards the problem. You need to try to
do something psychologically. That is
actually that does half the battle. You
know, let's say I have a a parent who's
very very toxic and narcissistic. I
can't fix their narcissism, but acting
in some way, either by setting
boundaries or by taking a break from
like leaving the house and like I'm just
going to go out and do my own thing for
a couple of hours. Taking action
alleviates the stress of the mind
always. And if you guys don't believe
this, a really good example of this,
taking any kind of action, if it's
oriented towards the problem, it's good.
But even taking other kinds of action
can be good, too. So if I don't know how
to tackle this gigantic work pro
project, even if I spend an hour
cleaning, you will find that your mind
is a lot calmer. Taking any kind of
action can be helpful.
