FRP Butt-Joint Kit Lamination Tutorial【FRPpiping】 *Please turn on CC subtitle in setup*

Check spec sheet to confirm the contains of joint kit.

Measure the polish width according to spec sheet.

Grind both pipe ends.

Grind curve(about 30°~ 40°) at the connecting edge of both pipe ends.

Brush off the dust.

Apply small amount of resin (with about 3% hardener) to glue both pipe ends.

Check label to see if it is right kit for the pipe.

Blend silica powder (included in the kit) evenly with resin & hardener(about 4%).

Apply silica putty to seal the joint.

Smooth the joint surface with sander.

Lay up the first fiberglass set.

Coat resin on polished surface.

Wrap the first fiberglass set right after coating of resin.

Roll out air bubbles.

Repeat the same lay up process.

Clean up.

Top coat with wax resin after last layer is gelled (wait about 20 minutes).

Process completed.
