0:01

Hey, so a lot of you have been asking me

0:03

for a Cybert truck review video, and I

0:06

thought this would be a great

0:07

opportunity to tell you about the new

0:10

car that I just took delivery of minutes

0:13

ago

0:14

and why the Cybertruck can't fulfill

0:18

that role. But first, let's go through

0:21

some of the exciting things that I've

0:23

done with the Cybertruck because so many

0:24

of you have been asking about it. Uh,

0:26

and it's really honestly I'm pretty

0:28

stoked about everything that I've done

0:30

with the Cybertruck. Uh, so I'll go

0:32

through some of the things to do and

0:34

things not to do. So, let's get started

0:36

with the Cybertruck. And so, obviously,

0:39

the Cybertruck is wrapped matte black.

0:42

And now, I purposefully didn't get it

0:43

washed here because I want you to see

0:45

the downside of wrapping a car in a

0:48

dusty area like Southern California with

0:50

matte black. It will get dirty. So,

0:52

while it does look really nice with this

0:55

wrap, I personally do not recommend it.

0:58

Uh Ross Gerber was just asking me about,

1:00

"Hey, should I get a wrap like this,

1:01

too? It looks so badass." I'm like, "No,

1:04

because first of all, I don't want to

1:05

match." I love you, Ross, but I don't

1:07

want to match. Uh and two, uh this is

1:10

mine. Three. Three. There we go. Uh

1:13

honestly, it's a pain in the butt.

1:14

[laughter] You don't watch it all the

1:15

time. So, that is a red flag that I

1:18

encourage people to pay attention to.

1:19

Now, something that I did recently do is

1:21

I added the Mars rack up here, which

1:24

does go really well with the Cybert

1:26

truck coloring. And we got the Starlink

1:28

Mini over here. You can actually see me

1:30

do a Starlink Mini video uh on the

1:34

channel today. So, while I was driving

1:37

back from Nou with Ross, thank you,

1:40

Ross, for inviting me and paying. Uh, I

1:43

uh I did a live stream using Starlink

1:46

and while it was choppy the first couple

1:47

minutes by the ocean, it took me through

1:51

the canyon and the 101 amazingly. So,

1:55

shout out to Starling Mini. Really,

1:57

really amazing quality. Uh, and kind of

2:00

amazing. Take a shot for every time I

2:03

say amazing, huh? Kind of cool that you

2:05

can now live stream uh while being in a

2:08

car on full self-driving and using a

2:11

GoPro. I'll show you that in just a

2:12

moment. It's really cool. But what else

2:14

is really cool is, of course, the Cybert

2:16

truck. So, this is where I have the

2:18

Mini. It's mounted right here, which uh

2:21

Mars uh if you just type Mars

2:23

Cybertruck, you can find this rack. Uh

2:25

it's mounted over here, which is pretty

2:26

cool. You can also see I've got it uh

2:28

plugged in here. So, anytime I turn the

2:30

car on, this turns on, which is great.

2:32

It's much better than using hotspots. I

2:35

find that when we're working uh and you

2:38

know, one of us is driving, another one

2:39

of us is, let's say, on the laptop and

2:41

we're trying to order stuff at Lowe's or

2:43

we're trying to work with property

2:44

managers or vendors or contractors or

2:46

whatever, it's a pain in the butt to use

2:48

hotspots. Hotspots cut out all the time.

2:50

The Starlink kicks butt. For 50 bucks a

2:52

month, such a huge ROI in my opinion by

2:55

minimizing frustration. But so these

2:58

actually attach to the uh L- racks right

3:00

here, which are awesome. They just screw

3:03

right into the Lracks. They're a little

3:04

finicky to get in, but you know, I'll

3:06

keep things like uh construction

3:08

Sharpies, construction tapes over here

3:10

so I can mark up demo or jobs. Tape

3:12

measure scissor always comes in handy.

3:14

But I also got my uh DeWalt battery

3:17

always charged over here. Of course,

3:19

I've got a second one up here. I'll show

3:20

you about in a moment. Uh 10 lb, it's

3:23

probably more than that fire

3:24

extinguisher. I think puny fire

3:25

extinguishers are worth less. So, I got

3:27

these. Uh I've got a bunch more of these

3:29

underneath here, which is where I keep

3:30

my bowling balls. I'll show you that in

3:32

a moment. But I put some of them over

3:33

here just to tie things down. Amazing

3:36

A-frame ladder. By the way, look at how

3:38

this like minimizes down. Tiny, right?

3:42

And it it not only folds open, but then

3:44

out and then you get like 5 foot a whole

3:48

like 5ft A-frame like this. I don't want

3:50

to undo it all right now. Put EP pins in

3:52

here. Other little, you know, gadgets

3:55

for work. Same thing over here.

3:57

notepads, pens, backup batteries, I

4:00

don't know, guns, whatever you need,

4:02

right? But what I always got frustrated

4:05

by was having a few lessons that I

4:09

learned back here. Something that always

4:10

frustrated me is I don't want all my

4:13

property management equipment, always

4:15

using up my bed. because if I'm always

4:17

using the bed with property management

4:19

equipment for house hack, then I can't

4:21

really use the bed to transport

4:22

equipment cuz I always have that like

4:25

standby stuff in the way. So, what I did

4:27

is I got this uh Pelican uh case up

4:30

here, which is awesome. This is a you

4:32

know Pelican Cargo BX140R.

4:36

It actually if you pull these pins out

4:39

uh it can you know come up and off

4:40

really easily in case you want to load

4:42

something on the roof rack. But in here,

4:45

I just keep some basic tools like a

4:49

DeWalt blower, you know, paper towels

4:52

and window cleaner or a vacuum cleaner.

4:55

DeWalt vacuum cleaner, you know, super

4:58

useful. Uh because I can use the DeWalt

5:01

battery, which I have the second one of

5:03

right here. The other one's always

5:04

charged. It's not sliding around because

5:06

it's in these little bags. Uh and I can

5:09

always go do what I need to do. I'll

5:11

keep things like masks in here. So like

5:13

P100's or other little inspection

5:15

equipment, you know, nothing too fancy.

5:17

P100's, laser level, flashlights, you

5:20

know, pretty generic stuff. So, um,

5:23

anyway, this is really functional

5:25

because it just keeps everything sorted.

5:28

It's here. And so, worst thing for me is

5:31

getting to a property and then not

5:33

having what I need. So, this is awesome.

5:37

Now, a couple mistakes I made. So, first

5:40

mistake I made is I bought three of

5:42

these dividers. You don't really want

5:44

more than one, maybe two of the

5:48

dividers. I put a second divider right

5:50

here sometimes. And it's nice for when I

5:53

put paint buckets in so they don't go

5:55

sliding around everywhere, which is also

5:57

why I got this mat because if you just

6:00

use I got to sort those in here. If you

6:03

just use it's a work van or truck. If

6:06

you just use this, they slide around.

6:08

and they fall over and it's a pain in

6:09

the butt. So, this is in the Tesla store

6:11

as well. And then I just cut out, you

6:13

know, room for the uh uh this divider

6:16

section here. I keep our bowling balls,

6:19

which is kind of nice. So, I think

6:21

that's pretty good storage for bowling

6:22

balls. Uh and then uh you know, I got

6:25

some ceiling fans. I still got to

6:26

deliver over here. I've got these little

6:28

pins right there. I can actually put a

6:30

duster broom that collapses. And it

6:33

actually just came in from Amazon. I got

6:34

to install it, but I'll put a duster

6:36

broom from Amazon in there. Uh, so

6:38

that'll be kind of cool and collapsible.

6:40

I just hate going to a rental property

6:41

and it's like, "Yay, it's finally ready

6:43

to show to tenants and then like brand

6:45

new cobweb." I'm like, "Bro,

6:48

I just had the place cleaned." So, it's

6:51

those little things like the spot on the

6:52

window, the spot on the kitchen counter,

6:54

the cobweb. Like, I'll just handle it

6:56

really quickly. I'm not going to wait

6:58

and, you know, cost house hack money

7:00

because I'm waiting for a cleaner to

7:01

come touch up or whatever. So, uh,

7:04

something else that I've recently done

7:06

with a Cybert truck is I read articles

7:07

about how, you know, people got it like

7:10

trapped in the Cybert trucks and and

7:12

died in like a fire or whatever, and I'm

7:14

like, "Oh, that sounds terrible." So,

7:15

something that I've recently done is in

7:17

each of the doors, I've velcroed in uh a

7:21

little one of these. You know, I just

7:22

took cut this Velcro tape and put a

7:25

little hammer in. And so, every single

7:27

door now has the motor buddy. And I

7:30

velcroed it cuz I don't want them to be

7:31

projectiles. But anyway, that way you

7:33

know somebody needs to break a window,

7:34

they can. Uh, in here, what I really

7:37

like in here, uh, which I I hate that,

7:39

by the way, anything that's on these

7:40

seats, very frequently slides through

7:44

this, and then it's a pain in the butt.

7:46

So, this is just some stuff I got to

7:47

organize over here. This is uh doorbells

7:51

I got to deliver. Next time I go to the

7:53

properties, I got them. But anyway, uh

7:56

right here I'll keep like golf shoes and

7:59

golf balls, which or um golf clubs. So,

8:02

I think it's kind of a convenient place

8:03

for it. Uh something else I did, my kids

8:06

would always kick out the uh the plugs

8:09

over here. So, I just got a 90° plug and

8:12

then a USB adapter so I can like put all

8:15

sorts of different USBs down here or

8:17

whatever. Nice and easy. Uh then you

8:21

know I can put my laptop in here and

8:22

keep it charged or iPad or whatever when

8:25

I'm going to LA like I did today. So uh

8:29

then over here big fan of this upgrade.

8:32

So uh little little box that just sort

8:35

of cleans up some stuff you can put on

8:37

each side. I keep my registration and

8:39

paperwork in here and a bunch of 5hour

8:41

energies which I think is great. Highly

8:44

value this upgrade. also really love

8:46

these little things because they make it

8:49

very easy to organize cables. I learned

8:51

this in aviation. I don't want my

8:54

cockpit being a mess. So, as a pilot

8:57

now, when I get in the car, I will

9:01

actually uh put my phone right here. Uh

9:05

and then what you'll find is I'll just

9:06

kind of plug it in with these that are

9:08

nice and handy. Just plug my phone in

9:10

right here. So, I find that very, very

9:13

useful. Uh, another thing that's very

9:16

useful is having this little center

9:18

console caddy. So, I got this somewhere

9:21

on the internet, but anyway, it fits

9:23

perfectly in here. You can probably just

9:25

Google center console caddy. You know,

9:26

none of this is sponsored. And, uh, it

9:29

adds two cup holders, a little tray in

9:32

the back right here, which is actually

9:33

where I could just keep my little mics.

9:35

Uh, and then I've got a little

9:37

compartment over there for things like I

9:39

I use them for just like camera mounts

9:41

like the one I'm holding right now on

9:42

the iPhone. Uh, and then right here I

9:45

put the GoPro, so that'll film me when

9:48

I'm uh when I'm doing that live drive,

9:51

which is kind of crazy, [laughter]

9:53

but that way it's like totally

9:54

hands-free and I'm on FSD, but it's

9:58

handsree. I can pay attention to the

9:59

road and I can just talk and yap, right?

10:02

Which you all know I'm a big fan of

10:03

doing that. Now, I want to show you the

10:04

frunk and then we got to talk about the

10:06

new car and what this one can't do. So,

10:09

open frunk. All right, so the frunk.

10:13

What's really exciting here Oh, yeah. I

10:15

got dark tints, too. I love dark tints

10:17

cuz people all the time will like take

10:19

pictures of this and it gets a lot of

10:21

attention. This is the Cyber Cooler,

10:24

which I think Elon and the team did a

10:26

great job on. Uh, I haven't actually

10:28

used it for anything fun yet, so I just

10:30

use it to store waters because the kids

10:32

always want water. So, I just shove a

10:34

bunch of water in here, which I love

10:36

because it doesn't like roll around. I

10:37

hate when water bottles are rolling

10:39

around in the trunk. It's so annoying.

10:40

drives me nuts. But obviously, it's got

10:42

a little drain here, so if you filled it

10:43

up with ice and wanted to cool it or

10:45

have beer or tailgate or whatever, you

10:47

could do that. And it fits perfectly in

10:49

here, which I mean, the other thing I

10:51

have here is like washer fluid or my

10:52

front license plate and an oil can,

10:55

which is actually for a plane, uh, for

10:59

jet engines, turbines.

11:02

Anyway, I could probably not have that

11:05

in there. All right, cool. So, that's

11:08

the Cybert truck. Now, why am I talking

11:11

about new car? Okay, the reason I'm

11:14

talking about a new car is because we

11:16

have this car right here, which is a

11:18

2015

11:20

uh Toyota Sienna. We actually really

11:23

love this car. Uh it's a fantastic car.

11:26

And I just took out all five of the car

11:28

seats because our children, we have five

11:30

kids in car seats and then two older so

11:32

we got seven kids. Our children have now

11:34

outgrown their infant car seats. So, I

11:36

need to install new car seats. And so

11:38

I'm back here and uh this was just like

11:41

2 or 3 days ago. And I'm back here and

11:42

I'm like, "Oh, two car seats here, you

11:46

know, maybe the middle eighth seat for

11:48

Max. Jack can sit in the front. He's

11:51

tall enough now. And then three back

11:52

here." Dude, this is insane. Like these

11:55

kids are sandwiched back here now. It

11:57

works. Lauren would actually load them

11:59

in through the back tailgate. But I'm

12:01

back in here and I've got the three car

12:03

seats in. They're all sandwiched

12:05

together. And I'm like, "Bro, if this

12:07

car ever got in an accident and people

12:10

had to get these children out fast, like

12:12

because of a fire or something,

12:14

they're cooked, literally." And I'm

12:16

like, "F that." Like, my goal in life is

12:21

to provide value to people and to take

12:23

great care of my family, be there for my

12:25

family, and then of course, if I could

12:27

be there for you and my subscribers,

12:28

that's my goal in life. I don't care

12:30

about money. I don't care about a

12:31

number. I care about helping. like I

12:33

want I want people to look and think of

12:35

Kevin as like he gave more than he took.

12:37

That's that's my POV. So this was really

12:40

concerning to me. So I realized that

12:43

this not only is a death trap this size,

12:45

but then I did a little bit of research

12:46

and it turns out if you have multiple

12:48

car seats sandwiched together, they

12:51

actually transfer the lateral load of an

12:53

impact to each other rather than giving

12:56

that sort of crumple zone. Like if you

12:58

crash and you your face hits an airbag,

13:00

it's designed to be like firm and then

13:03

[sighs]

13:04

to give you a little crumple. Car seats

13:06

are designed to move a little bit to

13:08

give your body and your organs a little

13:11

bit of room to kind of slow down before

13:13

they impact the outer walls of of well

13:14

your you know the inner walls I guess of

13:16

your your body. That's how damage occurs

13:18

to your organs or your spine or

13:20

whatever. And so if you sandwich car

13:22

seats together, apparently at a 30 mph

13:25

crash, you could actually increase the

13:27

loads on your spine by 30% at 30 m and

13:31

then obviously up from there, which

13:33

isn't great because these are little

13:34

children. They're very sensitive to

13:36

this. Not great. However, I will say the

13:38

Toyota for being, you know, 10 years

13:40

old, 50 60,000 mi or whatever, like this

13:43

is a fantastic car. We've never had

13:44

issues with this car and we're going to

13:46

keep it because we love it. It's, you

13:48

know, Lauren's Oh, yeah. And we got the

13:50

clowns going up. I told you we'd have

13:52

clowns. Okay. I I I I hold my

13:56

commitments. Like if I say I'm going to

13:57

do something, I'm going to do it. Okay.

14:00

So, I actually don't think we have

14:01

enough clowns. Like, I want more clowns.

14:04

And I got to get a new American flag.

14:05

That one's getting faded a little bit.

14:07

Anyway, so now the whole point of this

14:10

video is introducing that uh yes, we

14:14

just got a new car. Uh, and it was

14:17

actually like when I was sitting in the

14:18

back of the car, I'm like, "This is not

14:21

good. All these little children, they

14:23

deserve uh to be safe uh and and

14:26

secure." Uh, in fact, let me show you

14:28

them really quickly. So, let's go in

14:30

here and then I'll show you the car. I

14:33

just want you to see that. Let's see if

14:34

they're around.

14:36

>> Oh, yeah. There they are. Hello.

14:39

>> Hi.

14:41

>> Hi. How's it going? Yeah. Hello. Oh. Oh.

14:46

Hi, Claire. Is this yet another new

14:49

camera? What is this? Hey, Mr. Prince J.

14:54

>> Camera. You see a camera?

14:57

>> What's your name?

14:59

>> Ella.

14:59

>> Yeah, you're Ella. What's your name?

15:01

>> Bubba.

15:02

>> Bubba. Yeah. Yeah. That's Jay. That's

15:03

who. What's her name?

15:05

>> What's her name right here?

15:07

>> What? Okay. What's your name?

15:09

>> What's your name?

15:11

>> Da.

15:12

>> I'm Dada. Yeah, that's right. I'm Dada.

15:13

[laughter]

15:15

Anyway, I love you all. Kisses, kisses.

15:17

I'll be right back. Kisses. Kisses. Oh

15:20

yeah. Kisses. Kisses. Kisses. I'll be

15:22

right back. Okay. Camera.

15:25

Okay. So, got to keep them safe.

15:28

Precious little precious cargo. So,

15:31

obviously, if you have precious cargo,

15:34

you must have a precious vehicle to keep

15:36

them all safe in. Introducing what Tesla

15:39

should have done many years ago. And you

15:41

know, best time to plant a tree was,

15:43

[snorts]

15:44

you know, 20 years ago. Next best time

15:46

is today. So, I guess they still have

15:48

time to get to it. But [sighs]

15:51

on the release of Tesla's new affordable

15:53

Model Y day, I have purchased

15:57

a Sprinter van. Let's go. [laughter]

16:01

Now, I have wanted one of these for a

16:03

very long time, so I'm really excited

16:05

about this. But here you go. It is the

16:08

2025

16:10

passenger Sprinter van Mercedes.

16:14

It is a diesel. This little side

16:16

cameras, too. I didn't even notice that.

16:18

Uh diesel engine. Uh it's uh super

16:23

spacious. I freaking love this thing. Uh

16:25

it is the 144 wheelbase. Lauren did not

16:29

want the larger one because she wants to

16:30

be able to park at school. And uh these

16:33

are standing room. It's also got the

16:36

additional air conditioning unit in the

16:38

back. That's what the hump is here. You

16:39

generally won't see that on the cargo

16:40

units because A, why are you air

16:42

conditioning the back? And B, it kind of

16:44

kills the flat roof in case you want to

16:45

store anything up there. Really, if you

16:47

want to store anything up there on

16:48

something this high, you need a ladder

16:49

to get up there. I I'm not using this as

16:52

a utility vehicle. I'm using this as a

16:54

human passenger van. That's the point

16:57

after all. And so, as you can see here,

17:00

we have a room. Now, something that

17:02

actually surprised me is this actually

17:04

only has four latch points, even well,

17:08

four latch seats. Uh, even though it has

17:10

10 seats, right? Three, three, four. The

17:14

entire rear row does not have latch,

17:18

which I was blown away by that they

17:20

don't have a latch back here. But right

17:22

here, you can see the ISOIX

17:25

uh latch points, latch points, and the

17:28

middle seats don't have them. uh latch

17:30

and latch over here. But that's okay.

17:32

We'll just belt one of them. But now the

17:34

car seats can be independent of each

17:35

other. 1 2 3 four and then we'll just

17:39

belt one over there probably in one of

17:40

the center two seats because center

17:42

seats are always the safest. You've also

17:44

got mass here. You've got air

17:45

conditioning here. You've got privacy

17:47

here. And I mean keep in mind you could

17:49

stand in this. You know, this is

17:51

awesome. Like I'm not worried about my

17:53

head at all. And I mean I'm 5'9 and a

17:56

half. Don't forget the half. But you

17:58

could probably be 6 feet tall and stand

18:00

back here. So, really nice. The cockpit.

18:03

This is a very, in my opinion, no

18:05

frrills car. Uh, I'm I'm not actually

18:08

the biggest fan of spending money. I

18:09

know sometimes people like, "Okay, just

18:11

I'm a really big fan of saving money. I

18:13

get satisfaction out of that. I love

18:15

like going to Lowe's and and using a

18:16

coupon code for our house hack investors

18:18

or, you know, like for example, you

18:22

know, we've got two properties next to

18:23

each other and I'm like, why am I paying

18:25

for internet in both of them? 80 bucks a

18:27

month. I'll just string an Ethernet

18:29

cable from one to the other, you know,

18:31

nicely. I'll put in another Ubiquiti

18:33

router or a wireless access point for

18:36

like the version 7 Pro or whatever is

18:39

like $299. Love Ubiquity, by the way.

18:42

Shout out to Ubiquiti. Uh and then uh

18:44

and $300 saves me 85 bucks a month or

18:47

whatever, which is like over $1,000 a

18:49

year, which is crazy. It's just

18:50

expenses, like recurring expenses, man.

18:52

They just freaking add up and I hate it.

18:54

But anyway, I mean, look at this. Uh, so

18:57

it's a pretty no frrills cockpit, which

18:59

is fine with me. Like, I don't mind. Uh,

19:02

and, uh, obviously, you know, I'll

19:04

personally use the, uh, Cybert truck a

19:09

lot, but with family, I don't even know

19:12

how to turn this thing on. With family,

19:13

I'll just be using this. Place key in

19:17

the marked space. See, I I I haven't

19:19

like synced the phone or anything yet.

19:21

Uh, I haven't done anything yet. I have

19:24

not test driven this. I don't even know

19:26

how to turn it on. Um,

19:30

well,

19:31

I guess that's uh that's the Mercedes

19:34

technology for you. How is there a

19:37

marked bro? Place key in the marked

19:40

space. I'm too dumb for this. Uh,

19:43

anyway, I'll put it up there. I don't

19:45

know. Anyway, so I'm too dumb to figure

19:47

out how to turn it on. So, I'll have to

19:49

ask Lauren how she figured out how to do

19:51

it. Uh, which is pretty wild. That's

19:53

crazy, huh? Uh but uh yeah, I wish it

19:56

were a Tesla, you know. I I want I will

19:58

say like there's no FSD. So, um

20:03

bro,

20:05

it can't be that hard. Other people who

20:07

drive Mercedes are obvious. You just put

20:10

it right there. Was it locked? Key not

20:13

detect. Oh, I figured it out. Okay. I

20:15

think it was just because it was locked.

20:18

Weird. Anyway, you know, Mercedes MI,

20:21

bro. I don't want Mercedes MI. I want I

20:25

want Tesla, you know, I want this to be

20:27

a big Tesla screen, but whatever, man.

20:30

You know, it is what it is. Uh I want

20:33

safe children, too. So, like, what are

20:36

all these buttons? I don't know what all

20:38

this crap is. I'm used to a Tesla

20:39

steering wheel. It's got nothing, you

20:41

know? Look, I've got so many buttons

20:44

that I've got placeholders for more

20:45

buttons.

20:48

Yeah, that's how you know. This is how

20:49

you know you got the no frills package

20:52

when uh the extra buttons are missing.

20:57

[laughter]

20:59

That's how you know. But I mean, still,

21:01

you know, the thing's still like 70s

21:03

something,000.

21:04

And let's see what this says here. So,

21:06

the sticker on it is $77,000.

21:09

Uh shout out uh to Matt over at Oxnard

21:14

uh Mercedes, dude. Matt, a Abraham. I

21:18

think it's Abraham. No, no, it's not

21:20

Abraham. I'm thinking about Donald Trump

21:21

and the Abraham Accords. Abdullah,

21:25

I'm pretty sure. Anyway, Matt, you were

21:28

great. Sorry I'm not perfect with your

21:30

last name, but it was really nice. It

21:32

was so nice. Yeah. I walk up and you're

21:34

like, "Hey, I'm a fan subscriber. I

21:36

watched your video on Tesla this morning

21:38

about you're complaining about how

21:39

Tesla, you know, hasn't made one of

21:41

these." AND I'M LIKE, "I KNOW, MAN. It

21:43

sucks. I wish I could buy a Tesla." So,

21:46

I guess I'll take the sloppy seconds.

21:47

And he's like, "Great. I'd love to sell

21:49

it to you." Great guy. Super nice. He's

21:51

like, "Look, I'm not going to waste your

21:53

time. Let's just work with you and the

21:54

manager and get like a bottom line deal

21:56

fast." They were great. I mean, great

21:59

people. So, big big big fan. Uh, so

22:02

again, shout out to y'all at the uh

22:05

Oxnard Mercedes Mercedes-Benz of Oxnard,

22:09

1511 Auto Center Drive, Oxnard,

22:11

California 93036.

22:13

Oh, your name's in here from M. Oh, no,

22:18

that's not your name. This I guess came

22:19

from Alabama. Mercedes-Benz USA Alabama.

22:22

Oh, that's cool. Well, I wonder what my

22:25

gas my fuel economy is on this sucker.

22:27

That'd be kind of cool. What do we What

22:29

do we even have? VF6 leatherrett black.

22:34

I don't know. What is all this crap?

22:36

Uh, so let's see what we got here. We

22:39

got basic comfort package, driver

22:42

convenience package, high performance

22:44

rear air conditioning package. Oh,

22:45

that's 1,200 bucks technically. Oh,

22:47

okay. Rear comfort package, roof high.

22:50

Hell yeah. Blind spot assist. Parking

22:52

package with 360 camera. Oh, that's

22:54

cool. Trailer crossmember, rims painted

22:57

jet black.

22:59

$92 for that. Bro, I could do with a $6

23:02

can of spray paint. Probably won't look

23:03

as good, though. Got some warranties. I

23:06

don't know. Whatever. It's an ICE

23:09

vehicle. Ice internal combustion engine.

23:13

Let's go listen to it.

23:19

I mean, it's pretty sick. [laughter]

23:21

Look at that. That's so cool.

23:25

What is that sound in the front? Is

23:27

something broken over here? What is

23:28

that?

23:31

What is Is this the frunk? How do I open

23:34

the frunk?

23:37

I don't know how to open the I don't

23:38

know what I'm doing. Maybe I have to

23:41

unlatch something inside.

23:44

I I hope there's extra storage in there.

23:46

That'd be nice. But uh anyway,

23:51

yeah,

23:52

I'm afraid to start pulling knobs here.

23:54

Screw it. Oh, I did it.

23:59

Yeah, it's been a while since I've uh

24:02

had an ice.

24:05

This is my Prius. OH GOD.

24:08

OH MY GOD. What the hell is that, bro?

24:10

How is it so tiny relative to this

24:13

frunk? Look at it,

24:17

dude. I was expecting to see a whole

24:19

like engine block back here in the front

24:21

of this. This is like a tiny It's

24:24

literally like you have a frunk on each

24:26

side, but they make me think it's the

24:28

whole end. It's so tiny. What the hell

24:31

is that?

24:33

like a spacecraft or something. Oh, look

24:36

at that. A belt,

24:38

man. Look at all those moving parts. You

24:40

know what that smells like to me.

24:43

Maintenance.

24:45

Lots of maintenance.

24:48

Although the diesel engines, honestly,

24:50

they usually don't need a lot of

24:52

maintenance. So, I don't know. It's

24:55

pretty hot.

24:57

Nevertheless,

24:59

it's not what I'm used to, but it's all

25:01

right. So, uh, it's definitely an

25:03

upgrade from this, though. You know, I

25:06

mean, what's actually remarkable is if

25:08

you look at these two vehicles, they're

25:11

actually not that different in width is

25:15

my understanding.

25:17

Look at that.

25:19

The width of them isn't that different.

25:22

Obviously, the height is a lot higher,

25:24

but what happens is the way they do it

25:26

is, you see the curvature of the cars?

25:29

See how this is so curved, right? That's

25:32

to give you the aerodynamics. But not

25:34

only does it give you the aerodynamics,

25:36

it gives you cup holders and all this

25:38

extra junk, right? The Sprinter doesn't

25:40

have that. The walls are straight and so

25:43

you don't have cup holders and grab bars

25:46

and all that kind of stuff. Although,

25:47

you do have cup holders in the seats

25:48

now. They finally added those and got

25:50

smart. I mean, the Sienna has self

25:53

closing door. That's kind of cool. They

25:55

stopped that at the Model X at Tesla,

25:57

huh? Uh, this one I actually have to go

26:00

over here and I have to manually close.

26:02

What is this? Oh my gosh. Here we go.

26:07

Well, I hope I don't lock myself out.

26:09

But anyway, yeah. I mean, look, you

26:12

know, with tax and stuff for a new car,

26:14

like, all right, a couple things. I know

26:16

people are wondering like,

26:19

why didn't we get a Ford Transit? I

26:20

asked Lauren. I'm like, yo, should we

26:21

get a Ford Transit? She's like, I will

26:23

not even step foot in a Ford dealership.

26:25

She's like, I don't want a found on road

26:27

debt. But I'm like, they have some

26:29

reputation work to do and I'm not about

26:31

to fix it, especially not in a debate

26:33

with my wife. So, that was the end of

26:36

that. As much as I actually would have

26:39

probably been okay with the Ford, I I

26:41

prefer the Sprinters, but I'll tell you,

26:43

man, I've I've gotten like the MLE

26:45

appliances and stuff like that. Uh you

26:48

cuz I was born in Germany, so I'm like,

26:49

"Oh, yeah. This will this will like uh

26:51

you know, represent the country that I

26:54

was born in or whatever." Man, [snorts]

26:56

dude, there's so much I forgot the key.

27:00

There's so much

27:02

like you want to get service on a

27:05

foreign product typically. I mean, at

27:06

least these people have a dealership

27:08

here, right? But you want to get service

27:10

on a MLE dishwasher, you think you're

27:12

going to have parts in stock? Nope. It's

27:13

all order. Oh, you think you're going to

27:15

have uh service technicians who know

27:17

what the hell they're doing? Nope. You

27:19

know, so it's a pain in the freaking

27:21

butt. Not a big fan. uh typically of of

27:25

like the foreign products. Uh I mean the

27:28

Chinese products are great and cheap and

27:30

I kind of like that but you know what I

27:32

mean like those like luxury crapp. Dude,

27:36

I don't even have a freaking driveway.

27:38

Okay. I I don't care about like big

27:42

status symbol or whatever. Business

27:45

tools I'll spend money on. I probably

27:47

spend too much money sometimes on that

27:49

personally. I don't for house hack.

27:51

food. I'll take care of the investors.

27:54

Why is this? Yeah. But uh like

27:59

another example. Oh, here's the S. By

28:00

the way, the S looks good

28:03

with its black wrap. So, that's kind of

28:06

cool. Uh and let's go on over here and I

28:12

want to show you a couple other things.

28:14

So, just for giggles, I want you to see

28:18

Oh, Jack is like super super happy about

28:20

this this um not right here cuz they're

28:23

they're not doing so well, but like

28:25

we're trying to make a moss garden and

28:27

so they're finally like some aren't

28:29

doing as well, some are growing to

28:31

together better. I got to get him to

28:33

actually like pick up his hose. But over

28:35

here, I'm uh just now flooring sort of

28:39

as like a little side project. um

28:41

flooring in a floor for a greenhouse

28:45

and Jack really wanted this decking. I'm

28:47

like, "Bro, it's a greenhouse. We don't

28:48

really need decking, but whatever. We

28:50

got some really good structural

28:51

hardware." Probably honestly overkilled

28:53

it with the structural hardware, but

28:55

that's okay, you know? I mean, uh

28:57

concrete and foundations, whatever. We

28:59

got our joist. We got our uh

29:02

waterproofing tape. We've got our

29:05

uh electrical fed through uh from the

29:08

panel. We've got our drain. We've got uh

29:12

water line somewhere over here. No. But

29:15

uh anyway, the the reason I wanted to

29:17

bring this up is the whole German thing.

29:20

Uh I can't find it right now. Oh, I

29:22

think it's in there. Ah, whatever. But

29:23

uh my dad's like, "I got the fest tool."

29:25

And he comes over with a festival tool.

29:27

I'm like, "Yeah, I got the DeWalt." And

29:29

he's like, "Son, that is not German."

29:32

Although honestly like in a while over

29:34

time he's also gotten into DeWalts which

29:36

makes sense because the universal

29:38

batteries

29:40

so freaking nice. So uh anyway yeah

29:44

there there you have it. Uh

29:47

thanks for watching. We'll see you in

29:48

the next one folks. Bye.
