DOGE: Musk & Vivek KILL Wasteful Budget Bill ALREADY!
FULL TRANSCRIPT
okay this is crazy the bill that is
supposed to keep the government funded
is now including $6 billion for a new
nuclear submarine $64 million to
apparently fix up prisons that
apparently got majorly damaged during
storms but haven't heard much about that
in addition to that we are spending over
$150 million more for Indians to get
educated in America we also sending
stimulus to Farmers somehow nearly
spending a billion dollar more for NASA
$102 million to support the Coast Guard
to patrol a non-existent bridge and get
this $3 million you could look this one
up yourself and then we'll go through
some more of the details here $3 million
on page 25 to test molasses at any Us
Port of Entry yeah I kid you not this
also then on page 44 includes $399
million for the acquisition of new
hurricane hunter aircrafts we have a lot
to talk about in this video and before
we get into some of the crazy salacious
details and all this just want to
mention that if you want to learn

coming soon wow there is a lot going on
in this continuing resolution to fund
the government between now and March
14th and it includes your money going to
pay raises for folks in Congress it
includes a lot of money going to Farmers
nuclear class submarines money for NASA
disaster relief and a whole host of
other things I'm going to break through
some of the weird things that are in
here and we're going to go through it
all piece by piece including VI's weird
summary of the
law after saying he read it all but
we'll go through it ourselves and I'll
give you my breakdown of it and I'll
give you some reference pages that you
could look at as well some of these
items I will source for you to make it
as easy as possible for you once we get
towards the end of the video all right
let's get started so uh Elon Musk got me
excited about this when he posted a
photo on X of a giant stack of paper uh
calling it the biggest piece of pork he
has ever seen and so I decided Well
let's go see see why it's so
particularly Porky so the bill extends
government the government's funding just
days before Christmas here through March
14th 2025 hasn't been voted on yet but
it's expected that it'll probably pass
because lawmakers want to get home for
the
holidays it also lifts the pay freeze
that has been in place for senators in
congress men and women since 2009 which
would slowly allow their salaries to
creep up via a cost of living adjustment
from
$174,000 to potentially up to
$243,000 per year though that would only
bump up about 3.6% in 2025 to about
$180,000 per year though if you look on
X uh it comes across that next year
their salary is going to go from 174 to
243 but then that's X for you inflation
adjustments are also being authorized
for organizations like the FAA so they
have more money for air traffic
controllers which is probably not a bad
idea since there have been a lot of near
misses in 2024 and personally I'm going
through my own pilot licensing and
training which I know I know it's crazy
Kevin flying I know but anyway let's
just say I've been in environments where
I'm like bro I'm coming into land and
ATC literally just cleared somebody to
take off in front of me and I'm like 30
seconds from land
in ATC I'm going around just like what
is
this sometimes they're just a little
overwhelmed then they get on and they're
like oh yeah thank you we were just
going to ask you
to anyway uh $7.5 million for audit
oversight is included in this $3.4
billion going to Department of Defense
repairs you've got $2.25 billion going
to SBA grants for disaster loans uh
these are by the way pretty common these
are usually a 4% interest 30-year
repayment loans they have deferral
periods in there as well it's if your
house or business gets damaged you can
apply for these they're really just kind
of like sweetheart loans to try to get
you to be able to put your stuff back
together but you do have to repay it
over time sometimes they do forgiveness
on some portions of these uh and working
with the SB SBA small business
administration can be a little bit of a
headache but at least it's some tool to
try to put things back together if you
end up getting hit by a disaster over
$3.8 billion uh of this is going to the
Department of Homeland Security for
disaster relief which is pretty vague
because I'm like Department of Homeland
Security how did yall spend or or end up
with $3.8 billion in Damages usually I
feel like every organization just says
they have disaster related expenses so
that way they can collect as much money
as possible and I don't actually think
that they've sustained that kind of
damage but it's kind of not uncommon to
see this sort of stuff anyway uh VI
claims that $8 billion are going
specifically to the Francis Scott Key
bridge that was destroyed this is not
true and it does make me a little bit
nervous about uh viv's Integrity
sometimes when you know like he's
arguing that he's spending all this time
reading all of the bill but then he
doesn't I I'll show you that really
quickly he says here I wanted to read
the full 1500 page Bill and speak with
key leaders before forming an opinion
having done that in other words having
read the Bill here's my view because
he's said this numerous times that he's
going to sit here see currently reading
the 1547 Bill to fund the government uh
and he says right here that the Francis
Scott Key bridge replacement $8 billion
and so he kind of makes it seem like the
bridge is getting $8 billion
but the budget to replace the bridge is
about $1.8 to2 billion and the section
that he's referring to is actually page
uh 96 of the actual continuing
resolution and when you go to page 96
and you actually understand what you're
reading if you read it you actually find
out that that $8
billion gets allocated to various
different items uh sorry page 94 I
misread that uh there you go page 94
right here this is for an allocation of
emergency relief authorized under
section 125 title 23 if you look that up
what that is is that's the repair
section of the statue that allows the
government to spend up to $8 billion on
all bridges and all highways in the
country that have been damaged by
disasters including yes up to 100% of
the replacement cost for the Francis
Scott Francis Scott Key bridge so even
if the The Bridge cost 50% more than
budgeted then it would cost $3 billion
to replace the bridge another $5 billion
is going to other highways and bridges
so I think that's a really important
distinction that VI doesn't make here
and it just makes me scratch my head a
little bit and wonder like you're
supposed to be the Doge guy and I'm
really optimistic about Doge but I'm
also a little bit worried that if you're
willing to jump to somewhat rash
conclusion
this early on in the process of Doge is
there a potential that you're kind of
just looking for salacious things to
tweet and not actually going through the
real details because let's be real you
know 38,000 likes this is great
engagement because people read this and
they're like oh wow he's going through
all the pages this is great he's
actually going through the details of
this see he says this we're bringing a
novel idea to Washington DC read the law
not an agency interpretation of it not a
media distillation of it which is really
interesting because you know when I look
at his distillation here he writes
disaster relief 100 billion stimulus for
Farmers $10 billion the only place I saw
this and I link all my sources by the
way over at ec.com but the only place I
actually saw that phraseology was a CNN
article the deal contains nearly 100
billion in disaster ID and 10 billion
more and banking relief for farmers and
I'm
like Viv says this and CNN says this but
I kind of like read the bill differently
when I go through the bill I read it
very very differently I see it as uh you
know they list $30
billion in farm relief actually I write
down my uh my breakdown where is it
right here see totals I'm seeing are 32
billion in Farmer relief 7.3 of that in
disaster relief some of it is a little
blurry in terms of how they add it up
because in the actual legislation they
have 3.78 billion for crop livestock and
Timber loss blah blah blah blah blah so
again like the only place that I see
viv's actual claim is straight from
either an AP article or CNN article and
I'm like okay not actually seeing that
in the bill but okay all right VI it
does concern me a little bit that doge
is just sort of like a way to get
attention and it just makes me a little
doubtful about how effective they're
going to be if they're just going to be
this loose already look I'm not claiming
to be smarter than Elon or VI uh I'm
just saying like if if I can see things
that don't align this quickly it just
makes me nervous about how effective
they're actually going to be because if
they go in front of Congress and they
make those sort of oopsies they're just
not going to get anywhere uh which is
disappointing it sort of like Waters
down how effective do should really be
the department of interior is getting $3
billion of funding 188 ion of that is
going to the Department of Indian
Affairs and $153 million is going to
Indian education so like okay so we're
ramping up Indian education by 153
million of this I'm not saying that
Indians don't deserve to be educated
Indian Americans or whatever the correct
thing to call them today is but I feel
like all Americans deserve more
educational money but then I also wonder
like what does this have to do with the
continuing resolution and keeping the
government F I don't know cuz this is an
increase in funding right $500 million
going to Fish and Wildlife
$ 2.26 billion going to construction of
National Park stuff not damaged stuff
like new construction of stuff okay the
forest service is getting $6.4 billion
for damage to 2022 2023 and 2024
disasters all right so we're going back
two years well three years basically for
this Department of Health and Human
Services is getting $500 million for
child care
services now this one I actually think
is potentially underfunded $1.8 billion
for a new facility in Guam that was
mostly destroyed by the typhoon that hit
you've got about 6,500 service members
stationed over there that's probably
actually underfunded because that
typhoon was a category 4 and that was
pretty bad whereas like $1.8 billion
going for that facility but the forest
service is getting $6.4
billion I I I I don't know some of the
things just seem a little misaligned $12
billion more for Community Development
block grants these are basically Biden
bucks that are just sort of handouts to
developers that you know are politically
favored in their
communities uh $33.5 billion for the
Department of Agriculture we got that
this was an interesting one $9 billion
or sorry uh I misread that $50 million
going to the
inauguration that was interesting $9
million going for emergency planning and
security costs in DC of that $50 million
going to the
inauguration $50 million for
inauguration security now don't get me
wrong we don't want to see a president
getting shot again so I'm all for more
security but that seems like a lot but
then again a lot of people show up at
that
inauguration almost $6 billion is going
for a Colombia class submarine requested
by the Department of Defense uh that's
on page 17 the inauguration fund is on
page 15 of the bill uh Redevelopment
under economic adjustment assistance for
major disasters $1.5 billion I had a
little trouble understanding what that
was I think that was flood mitigation
page 45 and and Page 64 this is a little
confusion confusing page 45 and 64 both
talk about more money for Supreme Court
Justices and the protection of them $12
million for residence security and then
potentially up to another $13.5 million
in salaries so I kind of think that's
sort of like yeah $12 million for
fencing in cameras and then another 13.5
million for salaries that's my guess as
to how this breaks down might be because
this car Jacker was shot outside of
Justice sod mayor's house in DC in 2024
to Marshalls were in the car protecting
her house and somebody tried to carjack
them and they probably got
shot welcome to DC I guess uh $ 64.7
million are going to prison repairs
because of disasters in
2024 again I kind of think things are
just being lumped under disaster
damage
$740 million for Hurricane damaged
infrastructure for nasar related
facilities which was also confusing and
that's on page 47 of the bill which but
it's confusing because there was a
Florida Today piece that indicated that
NASA only received minor damage from
Hurricane built in but then the bill
just basically Loops in all damage that
could have occurred in 2020 uh 3 and
2024 so it's all right
whatever uh
$12.5 million to support operations
until September 27 uh 2027 by the Coast
Guard around the collapsed Francis Scott
Key
bridge and this is basically $100
million to patrol the collapsed Bridge
area so this I didn't really understand
because it's kind of like this is what
it looks like so you need $100 million
in addition to the funding you already
have to like what drive around this or
or is it like wall it's being
redeveloped or something I don't
know maybe I just don't understand it
seems a little
weird uh VI obviously he's really anti-
this he says Congress should vote no he
says that for every uh you know dollar
of new spending or sorry for every
dollar of spending that this bill has
there's 65 cents of new
spending it's a little hard to align
this exactly but I I don't disagree that
there's a lot of extra new spending in
here so I do agree with this again I do
question some of his sources so I'm a
little
skeptical uh speaker Johnson says that
Farms have been hammered with declines
in income of about 4.1% this year and
19.4% in the year before and so they're
extending the farm bill as part of this
a lot of people are like speaker Johnson
you knew this was coming since September
why are you just now trying to hammer
this through the week before
Christmas $29 billion going to FEMA the
package does not include language for
unfreezing the $20 billion that
Democrats want in IRS funding and yeah
that gives you kind of a full breakdown
of everything that's in this bill and
things that might be a little funky
