at church, at work, your friends and

still sit with this problem in your hand

and you don't know how to deal with it.

Now, what does the Bible say uh in 1

Peter 5: 8 or verse 7 rather? Says,

"Casting all your cares." The Bible

doesn't say a part of it. Keep some

back. Keep your little pebbles, keep

sort out the bigger ones for you. It

says, "Cast all your cats,

um, all your anxiety, all your worries,

because they sometimes feel it's nice

for people to pat them on their back

things that we battle to to get rid of

types of stresses that we have

type of stress is over your body.

The first stress that we have that we

experience is what we call a good

Aw stress, it's a good stress. This is

when a new baby is born into a family.

When there's a marriage that took place,

there's a new job that you got. You you

move from one place to another place and

we get what we call a bad stress and

that is distress.

Now the term stress comes from the

stress come from the outside organism.

Stress never come never come from inside

always from outside.

Same as a traumatic event comes from the

outside doesn't come from the inside

which will cause your body to respond to

either fight or flight. Therefore,

stress is a transaction that is taking

place between you and your environment.

When any event from the outside imped on

your belief system, your brain will

it will tell your body how to respond to

The response will activate your adrenal

glands to release adrenaline into your

bloodstam. Now, there's a few things

that will happen. Your uh blood will

then uh divert from various organs to

the brain and to your bigger muscles.

You'll get faster. You will get

stronger. Your pupils will dilate. You

will have a more acute vision. Breathing

and heart rate will increase and your

body will now be in what we call a red

alert response.

Although we sometimes in our life you

see there's there are people that battle

to differentiate

uh between worries um and stress. in

their life.

But we are sometimes subjected to

situations even at our work and

different places that we are affiliated

to. We are subject to the different

dangerous situations. We are driven by

tight programs or schedules which put a

demand of expectation on your thinking.

Thinking things like I'm not going to

meet my deadline. I'm not sure if I'm up

to this task. And you see all of a

sudden you put stress on your body

14:47

because from the outside you don't think

you're going to meet that demand of

14:52

expectation from you. This will cause

your body then to react exactly the same

as if you were in a dangerous situation.

Dr. D. Mclughan, he is a professor at

Harvard University. He says the

to you. Your your body is in str stage

one of stress. You've heard um the old

saying when you when we were small, your

father and mother would when they speak

saying. It's in the one ear and out of

it becomes hot air. That is what it

one of stress, it is going to help us.

In other words, your paradigm is growing

next one um is the this hormone is an

excellent building hormone and it will

stimulate the pitchery gland

in in your body

and the pitchery gland will release

hormones called adrenocortical trophin

medical name once again. It is ACT.

This hormone will keep you alert and

also stimulate the adrenal glands which

is situated in your kidneys to release

chemicals called cortisol and

adrenaline.

These hormones are good for uh for you

if you release it in small quantities to

keep you alert and focused. The

adrenaline and cortisol will send

messages to the hypothalamus to indicate

that there are enough hormones released

and the hypothalamus can stop releasing

CRH and ACTH.

This is what we call a negative feedback

loop.

When there are short bursts of this

negative feedback loop, it is good for

you if it's released in short burst.

This is when there's short burst it is

called a positive cycle.

Now stress becomes harmful when you

remain in stage one for too long and

when it is triggered by a toxic thought.

the stress becomes harmful when you

remain in stress one for two long and

when it trickers a toxic thought. This

is when your body um is to shift in

stage two of stress which we also call

the resistance stress or the acute

longterm stress.

When we serve from being alert to being

bitter, anxious, worried, fearful, uh

angry, the hypothalamus will then

respond to the to secrete too much CRH.

You must carefully listen to what I'm

saying for you, what's happening now

because this is now where things are

starting from the brain from the um from

the soul's dimension starting to affect

So now because of anxiousness,

bitterness, hateful and worry it

actually secretes too much of the CRH.

When there's large quantities of the CRH

chemical structure

um it changes the from a good hormone to

a negative hormone which we then call

the chemical of negative expectation or

CRH in large quantities then stimulates

the Pury gland to release um ACTH in

large quantities which are your fear

hormones.

This is fear in physical form.

Your whole structure of that hormones

changes from a good type of hormone to a

bad hormone and everything in an excess

of what your body needs that becomes

your fear hormones. So you're actually

secreting a lot of your own fear

stop secreting CRH and large quantities

of CRH and ACT will override and block

what we have called the negative

feedback loop because a negative

feedback loop have been overridden large

quantities of adrenaline and cortisolt

will now be released now you have the

situation and now it's actually becoming

worse. You have the situation where

you've got too much CRH, too much ACTH,

too much adrenaline and cortisol which

are chaotically flowing through your

body. This is what's happening only when

These three stress hormones if produced

in large quantities are destructive over

time and will flow continually.

They are only meant for short burst.

through your body. A burst of stress is

much healthier than a constant stress

which can put put your body in complete

state of illness mentally and

physically.

When all these r hormones are flowing in

large quantities, you cannot hear your

heart. Now your heart secretes two

different types of chemicals.

The one is what we call ANF atrial

natriatic factor. I call it in short my

So the and then the other one is

Most of you must probably have heard

through your biology classes about

households are overachievers and

underachievers. You you you generally

get that mix in a home. The husband

might be a under achiever and the wife

must might be a overachiever. In other

words, the wife might say to the

husband, um, you need to to clear this

husband for us. Um, and then she goes to

the kitchen, come back, and the dustman

is not clear and she'll tell, you need

to clear this dus for us. And by the

third time, she clears the dusband,

you see, and in other cases, the husband

can become the overachiever and the wife

the underachiever.

But inpective, if we do not assist and

help each other in the achievements that

we have to to reach in our homes, it's

going to put stress on us and then we're

going to find that there's chaos in our

lives. There's no not peace. Now for the

wife and the husband

it's easy and a lot of times simple

things can create big problems in the

home uh such as maybe husband that's

that's not uh taken out um and then they

battle to to communicate with each other

the wife will implode and she won't talk

to no one she's very cross. The husband

is very verbal about the situation. So

you always find that there is a tag of

war in in the home. And this is why we

need to make sure that this chemical

the problems that we have is sorted out

immediately that we don't go to bed. The

Bible says you can become angry but

don't go to the bed to bed. Um, and

don't let the sun set over your anger.

understand we need to have this

chemicals activated in our lives. I'll

They've got a specific way of attacking

your body. The heart and the blood

vessels is where these destructive

chemicals will attack first. Your heart

Bible shows us that the life is in the

The enemy knows that and if he can

attack the life of the person which is

Heart and blood vessel attack come from

This all happens before it even gets to

We have often heard about young people,

fit people, wasn't even sick, but they

We've heard about it. This is in a lot

of cases from a toxic thought and

emotions that were never dealt with

These stress levels have been building

up internally over time and then all of

a sudden it leads their heart and they

in America that about 750 people when I
