CONVEYOR BELT SUSHI FEAST🍣! Tokyo's FRESHEST Sushi Train Experience

in this tokyo japan travel vlog we visit

two of the best conveyor belt sushi

restaurants in the city to try delicious

and cheap sushi this was filmed before

kovid so some new regulations may be put

into place for now please enjoy the

sushi train experience and dream of the

day we can travel again

okay everyone we're at a conveyor belt

sushi restaurant here in tokyo this is

actually really close to shibuya

crossing and really close to genki sushi

which is the really popular one but this

one my friend recommended to me and they

say this is really good too so i'm

pretty excited we actually had such a

long wait just to get in i think it was

around 45 minutes usually though

supposedly it's around 30 to 45 minutes

so expect a weight if you guys come

earlier like right when it opens

obviously no wait so how it works is the

conveyor belt is just right here or

there's a menu

right here that you can use to order so

i'm gonna order some stuff and i'm also

gonna grab some stuff off of here

price there's rolls japanese soup i'm

gonna go ahead and press special oh you

can do nikiri sushi by price oh

that looks really good three pieces

assortment sushi so i guess you can get

assortment sushi which comes with three

pieces

or

you can choose what you want i'm such a

fan of salmon so i'm trying to look for

that oh right here

yes i'm gonna get jumbo sweet shrimp

that looks so good

oh fresh snow crab oh my gosh you guys

we're gonna get one

there's also fresh fatty salmon so let's

regular salmon

so checking out the soup oh no they're

out of steam egg i love steamed egg

and there's also

some deep fried dishes if you guys are

into that garlic shrimp french fries

avocado tempura yeah something from my

mom

oh spicy fried chicken meat all right

well i'm gonna order this for now and

see what's up

okay so if you order on the menu the

stuff is supposed to come right here and

let's see what else is here

don't know i think that's funny that

they have just the water

on the sushi belt also bottles of sake

on the table there is green tea powder

you can put into

your cup

and right here there's like a hot water

dispenser

a ton of ginger if you are a ginger fan

you guys want to make sure when you're

grabbing your food you also take the

plate under it because they calculate it

by plate don't try to trick the system

is that egg oh my goodness you guys i'm

such a fan

of these eggs

it's so soft savory pillowy

this is like a brick of egg heaven

oh my goodness and then look at these

salmon pieces i'm so excited also the

shrimp is looking really good oh my gosh

here we go okay we're gonna try the snow

crab

i cannot believe they have this here we

wow that was so fresh it just melted

apart ridiculously good next up we have

the shrimps there's already a layer of

wasabi inside it

and i just have to pick it up like this

it looks so good i'm gonna detach the

head oh my goodness look at this large

piece of shrimp it looks so good dip it

into a little bit of soy sauce and

wasabi

one go just one bite ready

so good i believe this is the fatty tuna

i'm gonna grab some soy sauce

i'm a big fan of wasabi so i put a lot

of wasabi on my sushi

look at this giant piece

it just like topples over the rice

i'm gonna wrap it a little bit let's go

i need like

three of those that was

so good the shrimp has been delicious

salmon really good the crab the crab

i got more of the

shrimp ones because i love the sweet

shrimp

it's just so delicious it's like cold

it's refreshing

okay i'm gonna order some more stuff

okay ladies and gentlemen the uni has

arrived

this is what it's looking like it looks

really fresh pretty generous piece of

uni we're gonna see if it tastes good

oh my goodness on the conveyor belt

there's these like giant shrimp tempura

some of this sauce that it came with

no i've never been a fan of tempura um

so i just feel like it's just so much

better but this definitely way more

shrimp the batter the batter just

lightly coats it adds a nice crunch

this you guys this is the scallop that i

really love look at that fresh piece of

scallop on top this and the shrimp is

what i came here for

i think that scallops okay i think this

is like the lower grade one or the

cheaper one there's some premium scallop

i won't get that because i'm actually

eating a lot of rice so you can't really

get sashimi here so you fill up pretty

fast and to be honest i thought they

would be like less rice there's actually

quite a lot of rice to each piece so all

of the toppings has been so fresh that

the quality is there and for this price

forget about it

all right i'm not gonna vlog too much

i'm gonna continue eating so here's a

and when you're done be sure to press

that to put the train back so we tried

the pre-menuni and this is the regular

sea urchin one

so let's try it definitely doesn't look

as good as the other one but i'm sure it

still tastes pretty good my parents are

currently getting drunk drinking sake

they turning up dude they turn up

me

i should have gotten this one first and

then gotten the premium uni because that

first one that we tried was so

delicious and melty this one kind of has

a little bit of an aftertaste to it

as if like it's been left out after

taste same thing with the scallop of

this like

aftertaste almost kind of like oceany

dirt

type of

aftertaste i probably wouldn't order

that one again the first uni though

so good oh no you guys i just found the

sashimi i didn't even see that right

there there we go yeah let's order one

of those

that's so strange it's in snacks and

soup you can also get

cabbage all right let's order that from

my mom's

that was really fun and really good and

pretty affordable too really cool place

besides the way on the outside i think

this is really worth the visit i've

never been to genki sushi before but

apparently that's another conveyor belt

sushi that's popular here and if this

one was this good i wonder how good the

other one is shout out to my friend

hope when you guys are in tokyo you get

a chance to stop by here again just make

sure you come early because the line

does wrap around the whole restaurant

besides that i think it's totally worth

it we got a lot of food we're gonna

check out now and see how much it costs

done with dinner i'm gonna head home

because we have an early day tomorrow

64. for three adults and for all of that

fresh sushi

ridiculous pretty good place i really

recommend it uh if you guys are in tokyo

if you have time to spare to wait or you

know just plan it out so you don't come

during rush hour but wow

that was pretty darn good i couldn't

believe it's only 64 u.s

oh my gosh

in new york for 50 u.s you get 12 pieces

of sushi like really tiny pieces so

if that's not a good comparison then i

don't know what is okay

so this is genki sushi another really

popular conveyor belt sushi restaurant

so there are tables over there but this

is single seats which is really nice as

well you get a menu to order from so

their sea urchin hopefully it's good

oh i'm gonna get their hokkaido scallop

definitely gotta try salmon

we gotta try this sweet shrimp

oh man you can only order three plates

at a time

okay spinning oh i didn't win anything i

was done sucks

they have the thick sliced omelette see

that's good oh my goodness they have

cheese hamburger sushi

let's get the crab meat

it's really fast

and it goes wanna see what's for a

dessert

let's get some drinks some alcohol

these come out so fast

okay everyone it's time for that sweet

sweet voiceover people actually sat down

next to me so since i was dining by

myself i didn't want to disturb them or

anything okay let's get to the eating um

this is me trying to scallop and when i

tell you the scallop was so good it was

incredibly fresh it was meaty

oh my gosh i'm just drooling thinking

about that scallop again

next up we are trying the egg omelette

and it looks so fluffy but it just

wasn't as soft as it looked it wasn't

bad it's just i don't think i would have

gotten it again the next thing that i

tried was the uni and even though the

uni didn't look you know as glamorous as

the last restaurant it was so good and

in fact i thought it was better than the

other uni

i also got the shrimp and the shrimp was

just okay the size is a little small and

there was a lot of rice um and of course

i went back to the scallop because the

scallop was seriously so good oh my gosh

i just love scallop

i also got the salmon and the salmon

wasn't bad either i always get salmon

cravings so at this price oh my gosh i

can't imagine there's a kinky sushi

where i lived i would go every single

day

i also got the crab i basically got

things that were similar to the first

restaurant just so i could compare

um the crab wasn't good at this one one

thing that i really loved here was the

egg custard okay it had crab on it it

had like mushroom and seafood inside it

was so good

i mean the egg was just like gliding in

my mouth oh my gosh it was so good that

i actually got another one this is

actually

one of my favorite things i know it's

just egg custard you guys but this was

like

so yummy

i ended up ordering enough to play the

game again and i won something so you

can either get a coin for a capsule

machine or you can get five percent

discount i ended up going for the coins

because i wanted to see what it was but

i should have gotten the five percent

you guys

the one thing that was so good was this

piece right here and this was the fatty

bluefin tuna when i tell you guys that

they melted in my mouth oh

oh it took me to sushi heaven oh my gosh

after that last piece i was pretty much

done i think this restaurant had a

little bit more rice on their sushi but

i mean

i got all of that for 22 usd which is

just insane

it's such a good deal in my opinion and

the experience was so much fun

i think there's these are like little

sushi stickers i think i'm gonna go with

this one
