have noticed that my worrying has really
ticked up I got a daughter who's
overseas who's traveling on a solo
backpacking trip and whenever I can't
find her on my iPhone you know the
location I start to worry and then I
start to really worry and then I start
to think worst case scenarios and here's
what I do
I stopped that down with a tool that I
love it is six magic words and here they
are what if it all works out see when
you use these six words you ask yourself
this question and when your brain hears
you ask the question what if it all
works out it stops the worry spiral to
consider the question huh what if it
does work out
because the truth is you don't know
what's going to happen in the future
so why only consider the worst case
scenario
why not train yourself to consider the
possibility that it all works out and
based on Research 94 of the times the
things that you're worrying about never
actually happen anyway
what if it all works out start using it
and you're going to feel better right
