In today's video, we will look at the NAREX angle grinder from the Camouflage series,

so let's try it and test it properly.

An angle grinder is definitely a must-have item for every home

handyman. The drill from Narex from the Camouflage series is also suitable for the CBU 125 model

, which is sold in a cardboard box. It is designed for 125 mm discs and its idle rpm is 8,000

. 80 euros and then let's unpack it.

In the package we find a user manual and a warranty card

. There is a rubberized handle for two-handed holding of the machine.

The key for disassembling the disc

and the angle grinder itself from the Camouflage CBU 125 series from NAREX.

The ergonomics of the machine is at an excellent level, we can find rubberized elements against accidental damage

, it is already a two-handed machine, therefore there is a handle that can be mounted on the right and left side.

With an M8 thread on the gearbox, which is Al

, there is a button for blocking the disc when changing, several vents for ventilation of the powerful brushless motor,

the protective cover of the disc can be positioned without a tool system.

And we have an M14 thread with an ordinary nut

, the processing of the machine is already a little worse because you can see there are again imperfections in the joints on the plastics, but it is only minimal.

The power is taken care of by a brushless motor with a maximum speed of 8000, there is a switch for turning

it on , and I think that the spacing of the screws for fixing the angular gear can be turned by 90 °, so the switch could theoretically be on the side as well.

At the base of the battery we also find a filter to protect the powerful brushless motor.

The sander from the Camouflage series looks very nice and uses a fast brake of a powerful brushless motor within 2 seconds.

The total weight of the sander with pre-mounted disc and 4 Ah battery is 2305g.

The grinder can be stored in this way as standard, unfortunately not on the base of the accumulator

, it is not stable here

on the angle gear, but we have a protrusion thanks to which we can also store the angle grinder in this way

and thus simply sharpen some object, the stability is excellent in this position.

Next, we will look at the noise, vibrations and revolutions of the machine.

So the noise without load is of course irrelevant, the rpm the manufacturer indicates on the label is 8000, I measured 7700

, in my opinion very good performance, because some angle grinders that reach the specified parameters at 8500 do not even reach 7200.

There is only a minimal deviation, so

we'll see be aware of machine vibrations and don't try it at home.

The vibrations on the angle grinder are really fine-tuned, they are minimally felt.

To test the angle grinder from the Camouflage series, I prepared various consumables for testing different applications

in cooperation with the Solík brand. sk I'll throw the links to all the discs down in the description under the video.

We have various discs here, be it fiber, lamella or cutting discs, mainly 3M Cubitron 2

, but also other brands, so let's test the flex from Narex properly.

Well, now I'll try to press the flex in the cut.

So flexa bears some pressure during cutting, if I wanted to I could of course stop it, but I think it cuts very nicely.

We will try to grind a regular weld on a thin yoke profile with a 3M cubitron 2 disc.

For further grinding of the weld, I will use a 3M drifter with the same 3M cubitron 2 fiber disc with 60 grit.

And here you can see that the welds on the profiles can be sanded much better with it.

I will use another disc of the 3M cubitron 2 brand with a pad that is shaped so that it does not bend in the edges when sanding.

You could see that I sanded off about 2 cm of 5 mm thick steel and there is absolutely no sign of use on the disc, so the abrasive is really excellent.

We will try another drifter for sandpaper.

We start with a test of the effectiveness of one charge of a 4 Ah accumulator with a disc from Solík 3M cubitron 2.

So we have the first stop, the accumulator signals the last level of charge, I will try to finish the cutting.

So it's discharged, but I think it's quite a decent performance for 1 charge of a 4 Ah battery. I am

continuing with another test of the effectiveness of one charge of a 4 Ah accumulator

. For a change, I will use Most ceramic discs for steel and stainless steel.

I will cut the same material as with the Cubitron and we will see the effectiveness for one charge and also the consumption of two discs.

So, here we have the first shutdown of the 4 Ah accumulator, the last LED is already lit there, I will try to finish something, but it is not a complete discharge.

So it's final, there's an obvious difference where, of course, with the disc, the Bridge is really only missing a minimum of about 1 cm after the battery is discharged,

but you could see that the cut lasted longer, but the disc was also not used up.

What is the angle grinder from Narex with the Camouflage series, in my opinion, excellent ergonomically processed so that it fits beautifully in the hand.

It has very low vibrations, which is why I definitely praise it, and I also tested the effectiveness of one charge of 4 Ah accumulators on two different discs with it twice today.

The price of the discs Most ceramics 1.70 euros and cubitron 2 approximately 3.50 euros,

where you can see that the effectiveness of the cubitron was higher, it was 19 cuttings with dimensions of 45 x 45 x 5 mm and in the Most 12 of these cuttings.

You can also see a greater loss of abrasive with the Most disc, where the diameter of the Most disc is 105 mm and the cubitron is still 110 mm

, so from my point of view I definitely recommend using discs from 3M Cubitron 2 in flexes for accumulators.

it's a bit of a chore to make 40 such cuttings, so 4 regular meters of cutting are enough for you with felxa Narex and 2 batteries.

If you were to use a disc from Most, you would need 3 accumulators

, so this is my point of view, of course, some of you for home use may need discs from Most

, they are half the price, but there is not such efficiency of work because the work takes longer.

The only thing I could criticize about this flex is that today I changed discs quite often

and sometimes I needed to position the protective cover as well, and here it happened to me several times that after fixing the protective cover clip, the cover did not hold well.

This is caused by the imprecise casting of the protective cover

, which does not precisely fit into the machined part of the angle gear

, and sometimes it creaks a little and it cannot be positioned ideally, of course it can be different from piece to piece.

Unfortunately, I had such bad luck and such an experience.
