Remove Rust, Paint and Mill Scale - Scotch Brite Clean & Strip Pro Disc 3M

Check out the Scotch Brite clean and strip pro disc from 3M this 125-millimetre disc will

remove rust paint adhesive and mill scale fast without any risk of grinding into the base metal

underneath. Normally for that sort of application, you'd use a wire wheel like this one which can

throw off bristles and in general are just not a lot of fun to use so let's put them side by side

and compare. Removing paint the scotch brite clean and strip pro was so much faster than the wire

wheel which took 26 seconds to do what the scotch brite wheel did in just 10. and when removing rust

we had a similar result with the wire wheel taking 19 seconds to do what the scotch brite disc did

in just 10.6 seconds it's so much more than just the time saving when you look at the fine finish

but the scotch brite disc lays on that underlying metal as well when i was a first year apprentice

i spent a whole day stripping a shipping container with a wire wheel like this one and at the end of

the day i was pulling bristles out of my arms and legs we've all been there i've never liked using

these things and now i don't have to these are faster they're safer you throw it in the grinder

remove rust paint and more it'll leave a nicer fine finish on the underlying metal as well that's
