I’m Suing the Governor of California.

i'm pretty stressed right now i just got

off the phone with

there's a lot going on because i'm

but anyway like oh my gosh there's so

much ahead and now this

okay and now this lawsuit all right

so let me catch you up so yesterday i

posted a video where i broke down a

lawsuit that gavin newsom governor gavin

newsom filed in california

he's suing his own administration

because he claims his

own law which he signed into law is

unfair

unreasonable violates his free speech

and doesn't afford him equal protection

under the constitution

those are his words he's basically

calling well he is

he's calling his own law a law he signed

unconstitutional

and he is suing because he missed a

deadline

that he set related to his campaign he

missed his

own deadline which is why he's suing his

own administration

and in yesterday's video i also

explained that in california

recall candidates for governor can only

raise 32

400 per donor now that sounds like a lot

but consider this

it doesn't take many elon musk style

donors to throw 50 million dollars into

a campaign

and all of a sudden you can run a whole

campaign with one donor

literally you could run a whole campaign

with one donor my average donation

is fifty dollars now the governor

he doesn't have this thirty two thousand

four hundred dollar limit

i do any recall candidate in this

election for governor has a 32

400 per donor limit the governor though

can raise

unlimited amounts of money and i show

the facts for this

you can even google it it's on the

elections commission website for

california

the governor has no limit so in other

words we've got this situation here

where governor gavin newsom is suing to

be equal to all the other

candidates where it favors him basically

giving him

special treatment because he missed his

own deadline in a law he signed to the

law that he's now calling

unconstitutional

but he wants to remain unequal

in that he can raise unlimited amounts

of money but we can only raise thirty

two thousand four hundred dollars

so putting that a little bit differently

the governor's administration is

basically kicking and screaming to break

their own law

when it's convenient for them and

they're trying to screw everyone else

this is wrong like it's just it's just

wrong and it kind of

it kind of exemplifies what's been wrong

in california too the traffic the

homelessness the housing affordability

issues people are leaving our state

and it's a beautiful state the policies

are just broken

so yesterday i had about eight phone

calls with my legal team and another

three this morning and we're scrambling

to fight for what's right

the problem is time is really of the

essence here to make sure we can fight a

fair fight in california

because the election's coming up anytime

within the next two to three months

oh yeah and guess who gets to decide

what day the election is

the governor's administration it's so

broken but anyway

if the governor can sue because he

missed his own deadline and demand

special treatment for himself

then we believe we can file a lawsuit to

demand

equal treatment not special treatment

just equal treatment

for equality in campaign donations

the problem is the lawsuit's probably

going to cost

a hundred thousand dollars over the next

month and this is exactly how the system

can sometimes be set up to screw you

you need a lot of money to run a

campaign a lot

i mean we spent like 25 000 doing

text messages we want to do radio ads

we're like what it's three to four

hundred thousand dollars for an la

county radio campaign what are you

talking about

we don't have that much money so i'm

just going to share some of the details

of our plan here in terms of what's next

but what i am doing because there's no

way it's going to happen otherwise is

so here's the scoop right now we're

working on our strategy

we're not a hundred percent sure on the

exact way to approach this yet

one of the options is an all hands on

deck approach where we go all in and we

get this complaint filed the lawsuit

filed by

friday we do believe the sooner is

better because the july 4th holiday is

coming up

and that's going to potentially create

some issues but we need to also do the

legal research like

the the deep deep dive legal research

the initial legal research is already

like oh yeah

no this is wrong but we got to do like

the the ten

person army deep dive brief research

where it's like here's our 30 page

opinion on this

we got to do that research first in

order to file

like a solid lawsuit and that's going to

take i mean imagine you have a team of

10 attorneys

each working eight-hour days or 12-hour

days over the next three or four days

a lot of money's doing this but anyway

if ultimately our goal is to file this

lawsuit and and to

win now if for whatever reason we do our

legal research and we decide okay we

need to restrategize

in the meantime we're going to use every

bit of campaign donation money we have

to hold more rallies to travel to more

locations to do more interviews

to get the word out about our five-part

one-year plan

and our full five-year 20-part plan

and that includes ending homeless on our

streets

living on our streets or dying on our

streets within 60 days

more affordable housing better schools

we're one of the most beautiful states

in the country and yet

we tax the most and have schools ranked

40th in the nation

what's up with that like you've got to

be kidding me

so much of it feels like the problems in

our country are the result

of the behavior of or the policies of

governor gavin newsom and his policies

have ultimately been

misleading us by playing loopholes much

like the reason why

we want to sue him he's misled us on the

surplus

we're not we don't have a 76 billion

dollar surplus maybe we had a 38 billion

one but he ended up spending so much

that now we're going 12 billion dollars

into more debt

he misled us on fire prevention npr just

did a whole expose

on how gavin newsom the governor misled

us

he misled us on homelessness he misled

us on rental relief

folks it's really tough right now it's a

tough time in california

it's time to fight for what's right so

in terms of next steps i've instructed

my legal team to prepare documents to

get this process started

we're going to be very very smart and

methodical about this because i want

this to be the most efficiently run

campaign that exists

i want strong lean powerful and

impactful

we have to fix california and i'm hoping
