FULL TRANSCRIPT

0:00

Hey everyone. Most people today are

0:02

using their Claude account like they

0:03

drive a Prius to the grocery store. I'm

0:06

going to show you how to turn your

0:07

Claude into a Ferrari using the most

0:10

underrated app out there. I'm going to

0:13

use the brand new Claude desktop app to

0:15

show you how you go from a screenshot of

0:18

a competitor's website to real feedback

0:20

from your customers to building a email

0:23

campaign full HTML that you could send

0:26

out immediately. This is going to be a

0:28

gamecher for your marketing efforts.

0:30

Let's get into today's show.

0:36

Hey everyone. On today's show, I'm going

0:38

to show you how to use a under the radar

0:40

AI app to transform all of the marketing

0:43

copy you need to grow your business. So,

0:46

the first thing I want to do today is

0:49

tell you about the app that I'm using a

0:53

ton. So today we're going to use the

0:55

Claude desktop app to help make our

0:57

marketing copy much much better. And the

1:00

first thing we're going to need to do is

1:02

to actually download and install the

1:04

Claude desktop app. I want to show you

1:05

what that looks like so that you know.

1:07

You need to go to claude.com/d download

1:11

and you will get a link to download

1:13

Claude on either Mac or Windows. I'm a

1:16

Mac user, so everything today I'm going

1:18

to be talking about the Mac app and the

1:20

Mac keyboard shortcuts, but there are

1:22

similar parallels on Windows in case

1:24

you're a Windows user. And then you get

1:26

an instant video here of some of the

1:28

cool demo features of Claude, but I'm

1:32

going to show you those. Uh, so we don't

1:33

we can we can skip that. So, you want to

1:35

go download the Claude app and sign in.

1:38

So, once you download the Claude app,

1:40

it's going to look like this. It's going

1:41

to look like the regular Claude window,

1:43

but in its own desktop. and you're going

1:45

to have a little icon down here. And

1:48

there are a few things you're going to

1:49

need to do. One of the things you need

1:50

to do is basically allow permissions for

1:53

for screenshots, for file sharing, and

1:56

everything as part of the signup

1:58

process. Once you've done that, then

2:01

you're off to the races. And one of the

2:02

things I love about the Claude desktop

2:04

app is it gets you a couple of really

2:06

great shortcuts. The first of which is

2:08

you can hold caps lock and it will turn

2:10

into a dictation machine. Claude, can

2:14

you write me a prompt to do competitive

2:16

intelligence on HubSpot's customer agent

2:18

product?

2:21

And now you can see it dictates the the

2:23

text down there and I can go and submit

2:25

that if I want. So super easy, very

2:28

quick, no big deal, right? And it's just

2:31

a way of bringing the clawed app into

2:34

anywhere you are. You don't even need to

2:36

be in the app. And if you just think of

2:37

a question you want to ask it, hit caps

2:39

lock and then immediately dictate. So

2:42

that's super easy. The thing I want to

2:43

talk to you about today is one of the

2:46

big evolutions in artificial

2:48

intelligence is how easy it is to get

2:51

context into the AI. And with the cloud

2:54

desktop app, it's done some very cool

2:56

things. One of the things here is the

3:00

screenshotting technology. So for

3:02

example, HubSpot has this awesome

3:03

product. It's called Breeze Customer

3:05

Agent and it helps businesses with their

3:07

customer support inquiries using AI. And

3:10

so we've got an awesome product page

3:13

here. There's email copy. We do

3:15

obviously all types of assets. There's

3:17

also like a hundred other companies

3:19

trying to do this same thing. And so you

3:22

can use this exact same steal this exact

3:24

same process for your business. So one

3:27

of those other companies is a company

3:30

called Finn Finn.ai. And they've got a

3:34

whole host of of different products

3:37

here. and they've got an offering that

3:39

helps your customers interact with their

3:42

customer support via AI. So, there's a

3:46

few things that you can do here. The

3:49

first thing I'm going to do is I'm going

3:52

to doubleclick option that brings up

3:54

that claw app. Then, it allows me to

3:57

drag and drop and take a screenshot.

4:00

And so, now I have a screenshot of how

4:03

they're positioning. And then I would

4:05

say how would my customer growth Gabby?

4:11

So we have a persona at HubSpot we call

4:13

our growth Gabby. I have a cloud project

4:16

with transcripts and from sales

4:19

conversations and customer interviews

4:21

that basically personify and give the AI

4:25

details on who growth Gabby is. You can

4:28

either just create a document and upload

4:30

it to do this. You can upload the call

4:33

transcripts and stuff yourself into a

4:34

project and have the same thing. There

4:36

are a couple different ways, but it's as

4:37

simple as like you could even just

4:39

describe your ideal customer in a couple

4:41

sentences. I don't have to do that

4:43

description because I have a cloud

4:44

project in the background. How would my

4:46

customer growth Gabby react to this web

4:50

copy from Finn.ai

4:53

in relation to HubSpots customer agent?

4:58

And so I enter that and it automatically

5:00

takes that screenshot.

5:03

And so what's great about the

5:04

screenshot, you can do copy, you could

5:06

do images, you can do everything. So

5:08

it's like a real snapshot of a very

5:10

specific question. I'm constantly online

5:14

on websites on social media where I like

5:16

I have a question about that specific

5:18

thing and I have found the new Claude

5:20

app to be a real hack in getting to an

5:23

answer and an insight really quickly.

5:25

And so what it what it's doing here is

5:28

that it is searching my Google Drive for

5:31

information about Growth Gabby in

5:33

addition to the project that I have. And

5:37

I could have I should have probably told

5:38

it that I to use the Growth Gabby

5:40

project. That was my failure. And so

5:41

based on Growth Gabby's initial

5:43

reactions, skeptical interest but

5:45

concerns about complexity.

5:48

Okay. So basically what she's saying how

5:51

this compares to HubSpot's customer

5:53

agent positioning easy, fast, and

5:55

unified. So So now I can say, and I can

5:58

do this with the caps lock in. Now that

6:01

we know that Gabby would have concerns

6:04

about complexity as it relates to

6:06

Finn.ai, AI, could you help me develop

6:09

an email marketing campaign about

6:12

HubSpot's customer agent that leans into

6:15

the ease of use versus the complexity

6:18

concerns of Finn.ai? So, it's very, very

6:21

basic prompt, but you can see like if

6:23

you're just working on a campaign,

6:25

you're a marketer, you're grinding

6:27

things out, you're just trying to get a

6:30

better result than you had the time

6:31

before. Again, I I talk about this loop

6:34

marketing framework all the time. This

6:37

is part of the first step of the loop

6:39

marketing framework. How do you express

6:41

your ideas and get a really compelling

6:44

story and narrative? And here you go. I

6:48

I have gone from a screenshot on a

6:51

competitor's website, getting feedback

6:54

on that to now starting to create an

6:56

entire campaign.

6:59

And so what's happening is it's opening

7:02

an artifact in Claude, which I love. And

7:05

it's creating

7:07

the full emails of this campaign.

7:10

And so it's it's creating this email

7:12

campaign. It's very cool. All right. So

7:15

it's created these plain text emails.

7:17

What's really cool I think I could do

7:19

this. These emails are really cool.

7:21

Could you actually build them as

7:24

individual artifacts with HTML designed

7:28

in the HubSpot brand style so that I

7:31

could import them directly into the

7:32

HubSpot product to send them out? And by

7:35

the way, you can do all this with the

7:36

free version of HubSpot. You can send

7:38

email with the free version of HubSpot.

7:39

So, if you're out there, you're trying

7:41

to think about a campaign, you want to

7:42

test it out, you can sign up for the

7:44

free version of HubSpot and actually go

7:46

and see if this is going to work for

7:48

you. Let's see if Claude can make this

7:51

happen for us. So, normally what I would

7:54

do in, but we're on YouTube this sake of

7:56

time. I'd go through and I would edit

7:58

all of those emails with Claude and I'd

8:00

get to a final set of copy and then once

8:03

I had a final set of copy I like for

8:05

each of those, I'd then have Claude go

8:08

and build the code out. So, what you'll

8:11

see is that it's taking the email

8:13

sequences we discussed. It's creating an

8:15

email as separate HTML artifacts that we

8:17

can put into HubSpot. Notice I just said

8:20

in HubSpot style. If you want to do this

8:22

really well, you will create a style

8:25

guide and say, "Hey, I have a style

8:27

guide that will consist of colors,

8:28

fonts, uh, image use, all of those

8:32

things so that the emails will be really

8:34

good." I still suspect these emails are

8:36

going to be pretty solid because

8:37

Claude's smart, but you've got a really

8:39

great baseline in that it went and found

8:43

some of the brand colors, though we

8:46

don't really use this navy too much.

8:47

It's it's a little bit of an older

8:49

color, which is why it helps to give it

8:51

a style guide. But for the sake of what

8:55

you can do and especially if your

8:56

business is earlier stage and you don't

8:59

have a much of a brand style guide, but

9:01

you have a few colors and a little

9:03

direction, you can give it that and it

9:05

can go and build these out. Do you

9:07

remember when learning Excel made you

9:09

instantly more valuable at work? Claude

9:11

AI is that moment all over again, but

9:14

but a lot bigger and I mean way bigger.

9:17

While everyone is using Claude to write

9:19

emails, the real opportunity are in its

9:22

advanced features. Our new guide breaks

9:25

down Claude's best features, shows you

9:27

how to use them to work smarter and

9:29

faster, featuring real strategies from

9:32

real people who have used it and done

9:34

it. The link is in the description

9:36

below. Go check it out. It's going to

9:38

transform how you use Claude. Now, let's

9:40

get back to today's show. Okay. So, as

9:43

you see here, we have a first draft of

9:47

an HTML email about a financial services

9:50

campaign for our customer agent product.

9:54

And again, like I said, I would have

9:56

gone through back and forth and done

9:58

some more advanced copy editing and

10:00

everything, but if you really know your

10:02

audience well and you have like a really

10:05

targeted campaign idea and you feed that

10:06

in, I found that you get a really good

10:08

first shot um with Claude. And what's

10:11

awesome is that it's been able to make

10:13

what I think is a pretty good-look

10:14

email. It you can make a great email

10:17

with some additional style guide

10:18

recommendations.

10:20

Here's the kicker. Now, now I could go

10:24

and

10:25

take this HTML, copy it into HubSpot or

10:28

where whoever is sending my email, my

10:31

email service provider, and just go and

10:33

send the email that way. The other thing

10:36

that's really awesome about the cloud

10:38

desktop app is that it has advanced MCP

10:42

setup, which means that you can use MCP

10:45

servers to basically take these

10:49

artifacts and put them directly into

10:51

tools like HubSpot or really any email

10:53

tool you would build an MCP connection

10:55

with. So that is pretty remarkable in

10:59

that it starts making Claude a real

11:02

center of gravity for I can do this

11:04

campaign and ship it through the tools

11:07

that I use to actually reach my

11:09

customers. And so that's really

11:11

powerful. So

11:13

with the show today, what I've showed

11:15

you is how to use anything that you

11:18

might think is interesting, good, bad,

11:20

or other from a competitor.

11:23

Actually inject that into Claude. get

11:26

real feedback from your target audience

11:29

and then take that feedback and leverage

11:31

it into a campaign. And as somebody

11:34

who's done marketing for a couple of

11:36

decades, those insights and reinforcing

11:39

your core message against a competitor's

11:41

weakness is really, really powerful and

11:44

something that is always going to drive

11:45

meaningful growth and results for your

11:47

business. And if you found today's show

11:49

helpful, this is all the type of stuff

11:51

that we are suggesting you do as part of

11:54

Loop Marketing, our new AI marketing

11:56

playbook. You can go to

11:57

looparketing.com.

11:59

You can get the full rundown on how to

12:02

better leverage AI in your marketing.

12:04

And everything I told you today, this is

12:06

part of the very first stage of that

12:08

framework. So, you're going to want to

12:09

check out the other three. So, I highly

12:12

recommend if you haven't and you use

12:13

Claude, download the desktop app. It's

12:15

available for all Cloud users. So, if

12:16

you're a free user, totally works for

12:18

you as well. And I'd love to hear what

12:20

you do with the app. And if you want us

12:22

to do a more advanced show on the MCP

12:24

integration, please drop a comment
