What I'm about to tell you is probably
something no one has ever told you, a
nd it's the reason why, if you keep do
ing the same thing, you'll never learn
English the way you truly want. But i
f you can listen to this with an open
mind and put it into practice, your re
lationship with English can change com
pletely. For many people, learning Eng
lish has become a constant source of f
rustration. Years go by, courses are b
ought, apps are downloaded, notebooks
are filled with notes, and the feeling
is that you're almost in the same pla
ce. You study, you do exercises, you r
epeat phrases, but when it comes time
to use the language in a real situatio
n, your mind goes blank. Sometimes you
manage to understand a little when ot
hers speak, but when you try to say so
mething, the words just won't come. Pr
onunciation generates insecurity, and
you get tongue-tied. And to top it all
off, there are the comparisons. Othe
r people seem to be progressing quickl
y while you start to think that maybe
you're just not good at languages. If
any of this sounds familiar, it's impo
rtant that you know something. You're
not alone. What you're going through
happens to many people, and it's not a
problem of intelligence, age, or abil
ity. In most cases, the real problem l
ies in the method and strategy used to
learn. In this episode, I want to sup
port you and show you that it is possi
ble to learn English in a simpler, cle
arer way, with much less frustration.
I'm going to share five simple but po
werful tips with you that can make all
the difference if you apply them a li
ttle bit each day. It's not magic; it
's about changing the way you relate t
o English and to your own learning pro
cess. Let's get started. The first pie
ce of advice is to surround yourself w
ith English every day, even if you don
't understand everything. Before you s
peak your language naturally, you spen
t years listening to it. From a young
age, your brain was surrounded by conv
ersations, songs, television, and radi
o. First, there was a lot of listening
, and only later did the ability to sp
eak well appear. The same is true with
English. You don't need to know enoug
h to be able to listen. On the contrar
y, listening from now on is what will
allow you to understand much more one
day. You can play English audio or vid
eos while you cook, clean, exercise, o
r commute to work or school. You can c
hange the language of your phone and s
ome apps to English. You can watch you
r favorite series or movies in English
with subtitles. First in Spanish, and
then in English when you feel more co
mfortable. At first, you might feel lo
st, and that's okay. Little by little,
your brain begins to recognize sounds
, rhythms, and words. There comes a po
int when, without realizing it, you go
from "I don't understand anything" to
"Wait, I did understand that." It's n
ot just about studying for many hours;
it's about living surrounded by Engli
sh every day. The second piece of advi
ce is to speak from day one, even if y
ou make mistakes. One of the biggest c
hallenges for English learners is the
fear of speaking, that feeling of havi
ng something in mind but not being abl
e to say it. That fear of making mista
kes, of being laughed at for your pron
unciation, of not finding the right wo
rd. Here's a truth that can change you
r learning process: You don't learn to
speak English by reading grammar rule
s. You learn to speak English by speak
ing. Confidence doesn't appear before
practicing; it appears afterward. If y
ou wait until you feel ready to speak,
you could spend years waiting. Start
with simple things. Introduce yourself
in front of the mirror in English. Sa
y your name, where you're from, and wh
at you do. Tell someone about your day
using simple sentences. Record yourse
lf speaking English for one minute eac
h day. No one has to listen to these r
ecordings. They're just for you, to he
lp you overcome your fear and see your
progress over time. Mistakes aren't a
sign that you're bad at English. They
're proof that you're on the right tra
ck, that you're trying, that you're ma
king progress. And now, before moving
on to the next tip, I want to extend a
very special invitation. If you truly
want to improve your English, not do
it alone, and have ongoing support, I

Leave a comment and tell me what your
biggest challenge with English is rig
ht now. Maybe you struggle to understa
nd when people speak quickly. Maybe yo
u freeze up when you speak. Maybe gram
mar confuses you. Reading your comment
s will help me create content designed
exactly for what you need. Okay, let'
s continue. The third tip is to learn
phrases, not just individual words. An
other very common pain point is this:
studying vocabulary lists, memorizing
word after word, and still feeling stu
ck when you want to put a sentence tog
ether. You know the words, but you don
't know how to put them together. The
solution is to change your approach.
Instead of learning only isolated wor
ds, start learning complete phrases th
at you can use in real-life situations
. For example, instead of learning onl
y the English word for meeting, learn
phrases like, "I have a meeting in the
morning" or "We can schedule a meetin
g for tomorrow." That way, you see how
the word works within a real-life str
ucture. Then you can change parts of
the phrase and create new sentences li
ke I have a class in the morning or I
have an appointment in the morning. I
recommend creating your own personal b
ank of useful phrases: phrases for int
roducing yourself, for talking about y
our job, for asking questions on a tri
p, for sending messages or emails. Ea
ch phrase you learn is a ready-to-use
tool. You're not just memorizing; you'
re building English that you can apply
in real life, and that gives you a se
nse of genuine progress. The fourth ti
p is to turn English into a game. When
English feels like a heavy obligation
, your mind starts to resist, and excu
ses arise: lack of time, tiredness, ot
her priorities. On the other hand, whe
n you make it lighter and more fun, yo
ur brain opens up and motivation incre
ases. You can use apps that give you p
oints, levels, achievements, and daily
streaks. You can set small, achievabl
e challenges, like "Today I'm going to
learn five new phrases in English ver
y quickly without pausing." Reward you
rself when you reach your goals. It co
uld be a piece of chocolate, a few min
utes of your favorite show, or an extr
a break. This way, your mind associate
s English with something positive. And
if you don't study one day, it's okay
. Don't ruin all your progress becaus
e of one bad day. Just pick it up agai
n the next day. What will take you far
isn't perfection, it's consistency.
The fifth piece of advice, and probabl
y the most important, is to have a str
ong "why" that won't let you give up.
Many people abandon English because th
ey aren't clear about their true reaso
n for wanting to learn it. When the "w
hy" is weak, any excuse seems good eno
ugh to quit. Learning English isn't ju
st about adding words and rules; it's
about opening doors to better jobs and
higher incomes. It's about being able
to apply for opportunities outside yo
ur country. It's about traveling more
easily and understanding what's happen
ing around you. It's about accessing c
ourses, books, movies, and content tha
t are only available in that language.
I encourage you to take a moment and
ask yourself honestly, "Why do I real
ly want to speak English?" Maybe you w
ant to give your family a better life,
maybe you dream of emigrating. Maybe
you want to study in another country.
Maybe you simply want to stop feeling
embarrassed every time someone switche
s to English. Whatever your reason, wr
ite it down on a piece of paper, in yo
ur notebook, in a note on your phone.
That "why" will be your driving force
when you feel tired, when you think it
's difficult, or when you feel like yo
u're not making progress. Reread it w
henever you feel like giving up. Let's
quickly review these five tips so the
y stick in your mind. First, surround
yourself with English every day, even
if you don't understand everything at
first. Second, speak from day one. Acc
ept mistakes as a natural part of the
process. Third, learn complete senten
ces instead of just isolated words. Fo
urth, turn English into a game so your
mind wants to keep learning. Fifth,
have a reason so strong and so clear t
hat it won't let you give up. And befo
re I sign off, I'll remind you again t
o subscribe and follow the English 365
Club channel. Here you'll find the vi
deo for this content, repetitions in E
nglish and Spanish, and complete lesso
ns that will guide you step by step in
your learning process. Don't leave wi
thout leaving a comment telling me wha
t your biggest challenge with English
is today. Your experience and your que
stions are very valuable, and based on
them, I'll continue creating content
to help you. You don't need to be a ge
nius to learn English. What you need i
s to decide that this time you're not
going to give up and take even a small
step today. When you finish listening
to this audio, do just one thing in E
nglish, only one. Watch a short video,
repeat a phrase, introduce yourself o
ut loud, but do it today. Your future
self, that version of you who speaks E
nglish confidently and without fear, w
ill be deeply grateful for what you st
art doing from now on. Yeah.
voz alta, pero hazlo hoy. Tu versión del
futuro, esa versión de ti que habla
inglés con seguridad y sin miedo, te va
a agradecer profundamente lo que
empieces a hacer desde ahora. Yeah.
