land called ancient
Egypt it was a land of mystery magic and
great kings called
pharaohs the Pharaoh was the most
important person in

staff and lived in a big
Palace the people believed the Pharaoh
was like a
god in ancient Egypt there was a very
special river called the River
Nile the River Nile was long and
wide it gave water to the people
the water helped them grow food like
wheat vegetables and
fruit every year the River Nile flooded
and the land became rich and dark
perfect for
farming people traveled on boats along
the River
Nile they used boats to carry food
animals and even big stones to build the
pyramids
the ancient Egyptians built huge
pyramids the pyramids were giant
triangle-shaped buildings Made of
Stone they were built to serve as tombs
for the Pharaohs when they
died the workers used big ramps and
ropes to lift the heavy stones

helped the Pharaoh live forever in the

protected so no one could steal the gold

inside however thieves managed to steal

people still visit the Sphinx today to

face the ancient Egyptians loved
