>> Oh, Walter White is great. So, people

will say he's got narcissistic traits.

Absolutely. He's a sociopath because,

you know, he'll kill people without

giving two thoughts about it. But the

biggest thing with Walter White is he's

someone who lived as a [ __ ] and refuses

to die as one. He's continually walked

away from greatness and been been denied

greatness his whole life. I want y'all

to think about this. He's a high school

chemistry teacher and in order to make

ends meet, he starts to work at a car

wash where his students show up and now

he is in the role of a servant for the

people that he's supposed to be having

authority over. Then he ends up getting

lung cancer and he says, "Fuck it. I've

played it safe my whole life. I'm going

to start cooking meth and I'm going to

do this for my family." And then as

Walter kind of grows, he's like he

adopts this new identity, right? What's

that famous line? I'm the one who

knocks. He's done so much to build this

drug empire. He deserves respect. He's

excellent. He's amazing. Right? So, if

you ask Walter, why are you doing this?

I'm doing it for my family. This is

really where his narcissism comes in.

He's not really a family oriented

person. He's someone who has a

narcissistic identity of a family

oriented person. I've seen so many

narcissistic people who have an identity

of being a good person. So, I think this

is what's really common. This is what

I've seen a lot. A lot of y'all will

have someone in your life who's not

truly family oriented, but has an image

of themselves as family oriented and be

on the lookout for that. So, this is

what's soing infuriating. They won't

make the sacrifices. They care about

you, right? But they won't make the

sacrifices that you ask them to. They're

going to make the sacrifices that

support their image of being family

oriented and martyring themselves for

you. So they do what they feel like

doing and convince themselves that it's

for your benefit instead of actually

listening to what you are asking for.
