Ayurvedic Tips For Nervous System Balance When You’re Vata Dosha (Spiritual Growth)

yes so we're talking a little bit a bit
about ayurveda because I wanna I've been
I can't talk about health or
regenerating or reducing the symptoms of
a sensitive nervous system if I don't if
I don't bring ayurveda into it and every
time I have a consult we go over this
and so it occurred like okay I need to
make a video on it to give the
foundation so then we're at the next
level when we talk
that's the whole purpose of me making
these channels anyway it's just it's
easier you know because in the past I
used to have to start all over from
scratch one whenever from the beginning
when I met somebody new
I'm like this I don't want to talk
anymore but yet I could feel like
there's some service to to share this
but I'm like I just can't keep repeating
the same thing over and over again so
then I'm like oh videos this is what I
need to do that's what I'm doing
um
okay so and I I'm just gonna you can
study this on your own anymore I'm just
gonna give a brief uh outline about it
because it's not this isn't the
ayurvedic Channel but in ayurveda it's
an Indian
um uh healing sign started in India the
same rishis that started yoga they
started ayurveda also for health and
there's three doses Dosha by definition
means imbalance okay
every physical body is imperfect
everything's imperfect okay because it's
formed it's imperfect
so dosha's
well first of all the five elements make
up these bodies
earth water fire air ether
every form has a mixture of those
elements
but they're not perfect that means
there's some imbalance that means
there's too much of one element and not
enough for the other that's what Dosha
means too much of one element and not
enough for the other
Vata pittacapha these are the three
imbalances kapha means too much you have
too much uh earth and water so these
people they're they're kind of prone to
being lazy and overweight and they could
get mucus uh Health disorders stuff like
that but the kapha has the best
Constitution out of all of them they
have the least amount of health issues
generally speaking
Pitta means too much fire
get too much fire you can get angry easy
uh usually these people they go they go
bald
later in life but they're great leaders
because I got all this fire and they're
good they're good commanders and
Generals and all that okay
but they get mad easy
then you got Vata too much air and ether
the Vata the minds restless and they're
jumping around and they want to go here
they want to go there
they change their mind all the time
and they start a project don't finish
they like multitasking they have the
most health issues anybody with nervous
system disorders too much about to
or bones or joints too much Vata
so we're going to talk about Vata
because this channel predominantly is
dealing with mental health issues and
nervous system disorders
that's always Vata
I don't want to make things complicated
but usually people dominate predominate
into two there's two it's like
two doses
myself
that means predominantly
I have too much air and ether this is my
main Dosha
secondary I have too much Pitta fire
but it doesn't cause me much problems
what causes the problems is the Bata too
much air and ether
okay so we're going to focus on that
so when there's too much air and ether
we need more kapha we need Earth element
to ground
see remember Vata is spinning all the
time
and then you get anxious and then this
is how mental health issues start and
all that we need grounding uh
need Earth element we need kapha this is
why a lot of times our best friends are
the opposite Constitution they're kapha
people because it's like they help
ground us somehow energetically and
we're good for them because we help
stimulate them because they just want to
sit and watch TV all the time
so life is like that Opposites attract
all right so
how do you ground
we're going to talk more about diet on
this I'm gonna I'm gonna make some other
videos you can also climate is important
like the weather and
read about this though because there's a
whole lifestyle that suits Vata
and then if you want more specific
instruction after that then we can get
together if you want
so how to use foods to ground
the whole thing that I keep sharing in
all my diet videos is this you want to
take in as much electricity as possible
because that's that energizes the
nervous system it gets it fired up
we need energy okay but too much too
much electricity
uh
short circuits the nervous system spasms
it so then we need to ground see we need
grounding we need to we need to we need
to like plug into the socket and get
electric electricity and then we need
the ground the current
this is this is the game this is what
we're trying to do here
so
meat super grounded
but it can make the Mind dull
this is the thing and it's hard to
digest people with with Vata that are
Vata they they can't digest their meals
good it takes too much they have a
sensitive nervous system so when we eat
too much
it requires too much energy to digest
the food so then the nervous system
spasms and then we have our symptoms
so if meat snack you got to discern and
see is it okay for you to eat if you
know it you have to check but for me
it's not it's it's just my nervous
system doesn't like it okay so how do we
what are some grounding Foods then
and if you're gonna eat meat
fish is the best chicken and turkey
second beef
third and pork's the worst in terms of
digestive energy
I like sweet potatoes avocados rice and
root vegetables you know your potatoes
and carrots Etc bean and cheese burritos
you can have some pizza whatever once in
a while
eat it with the salad it digests better
there's so many options you can eat
besides meat
try it and see for yourself does that
work better for you when you're
vegetarian do you notice your symptoms
or less you have to see you can't just
do it you know because somebody told you
to you check and see do it for a couple
weeks and see like is this good for me
so then I drink these tonics in the
morning that um
that I've shared in these other videos
that's full on electricity drinking
these tonics then I'm drinking I'm uh
I'm gonna make a video on electricity
too for the nervous system that should
be its own video
so I'm consuming this electricity but
then for lunch see I eat twice a day as
far as a solid meal goes
fruits also highly electrical but see if
I just drink tonics and eat fruits
it's too much air and ether actually
remember Vata is too much air in ether
already so that's that's too much
balance I need to ground that stuff with
some Earth element grounding meal rice
and vegetables
mashed potatoes like whatever
sweet potatoes have that for lunch that
grounds you now
the reason and then do the same for
dinner the reason I eat twice a day is
because
you got to figure this out too
I don't want to get too complicated it's
all about metabolism if you have fast
metabolism
then
like vatsa does you you're going to want
to eat you don't want to eat because
remember it's too much digestive energy
for Vata
it takes too much energy to digest too
much food because our digestive system's
weak so you don't want to see people
like that you don't want to eat the one
meal a day
it's too much it's just it just is too
much
so you want to eat multiple meals
so but I eat twice but
I eat a lot of fruit and I drink a lot
of liquids though so that that you know
otherwise I'd probably maybe I have to
eat three or four small meals
but I eat twice a day I used to eat once
a day back in the day but it was just
not good my body because I can't eat a
lot at one time I can but it's not good
so I eat smaller meal but then I get
hungry again because we have fast
metabolism and Vata needs to stay
grounded so it's good to eat more often
smaller meals more often you gotta check
what your metabolism is now to make
things a little more complicated
remember I said there's two doses
usually you predominate in one and then
secondary is another let's say
somebody's vaticapha
I talked to somebody on the phone that
was like that
their mind supervata
they have all the symptoms right nervous
system and all that
their body's markapha
they can gain weight easy
now
I don't I don't think I asked him about
the I don't or I don't remember if he
said he has fast or slow metabolism so
what do you do then you could have a you
could have a vatamine
and nervous system so you need grounding
support but yet you have a kapha
constitution so if you eat you eat too
much then you're you're going to get
weight you're going to gain weight what
do you do then
you gotta you gotta size this up for
yourself
if you have a if you can be Vata and
have have fast uh slow metabolism that
contradiction can be there if that's the
case then you can you you can eat one
meal a day
you have to feel how you feel though you
don't want to get ungrounded
see about to about to get sun grounded
easy and then then your nervous system
spasms it's already
just by Nature Vata is very spasming
so you don't want to you don't want to
add more things to your life that cause
that spasm coffee
for example
um any stimulants you don't want
stimulants if you're Vata you need nice
grounding support
that's why raw foods aren't so good for
vatsa Vata is very cold and dry and
rough by Nature you want to eat
something warm and nurturing
you know in in liquidy
don't eat dry food it's not good not not
for Vata
so like I said you can read about this
stuff online I'm giving you a an
introduction of it and then read about
it and see this this is a big deal like
I wouldn't talk about it if it wasn't
this this really helped balance my life
you know and if you want some extra

a brief intro on this because it's just
important and um

I'm talking about when I say you need to
ground yourself with Earth element
in in your foods but not too heavy
remember because we got to be careful
the digestive system it's a finessing
thing Vata is the hardest Dosha to
balance out of all of them but we can do
