all right we gotta run numbers on

0:01

Twitter we're gonna do that in this

0:02

video we're gonna look at financials

0:04

we're also going to talk updates

0:05

regarding uh a revision on what happened

0:07

with Elon Musk this morning I have a lot

0:09

more insight so we're going to talk

0:10

about that and of course we're going to

0:12

remind you that yesterday is the 14th

0:14

0:16

0:17

wanting to join the trading challenge

0:18

that started today uh it's great it's

0:22

going great so far I'm super excited to

0:24

share it with y'all that is uh what in

0:26

2023 will be the 5 million dollar

0:28

trading challenge building that account

0:29

up and that's in stocks and psych make

0:32

sure to check out zero to millionaire

0:33

real estate investing as well as the

0:35

elite Hustlers course coupon code PP

0:37

expiring tonight thanks all right in

0:38

this video I want to update some of my

0:40

thoughts on the Elon Musk jet situation

0:43

Free Speech situation and I want to

0:45

update these thoughts uh based on

0:47

actually a tweet that I sent this

0:49

morning which I thought about this a

0:51

little bit more and this was the tweet

0:53

that I sent after I made my morning

0:54

video about Elon Musk Banning the

0:56

account that tracks this Jet and there

0:58

have been some updates since then some

0:59

more bands I wrote If elon's private jet

1:02

can't be tracked on Twitter then no

1:05

one's jet should be tracked on Twitter

1:08

Oprah Swift Bezos Bill Gates you name it

1:11

right in other words if there's one rule

1:13

that should apply to everyone if the

1:15

rules of Twitter say you're not allowed

1:17

to leak someone's address or phone

1:18

number then don't leak someone's address

1:20

or phone number if that then extends to

1:22

you're also not allowed to leak uh or

1:25

tracking information which even though

1:27

most of the time that's public

1:28

information

1:29

that's considered doxing if you're

1:31

tracking somebody and posting updates on

1:33

that well fine if that's the rule then

1:35

then people should be made aware of that

1:37

rule change and then have an opportunity

1:40

to not break that rule right

1:42

so then I wrote these uh the rules

1:45

should apply equally I'm tired of quote

1:47

the rules are for thee and not for me

1:50

there should be equal application now I

1:51

say that because in California you get a

1:54

lot of that okay like the mayor London

1:55

breed in San Francisco hey you all Gotta

1:58

Wear Your masks and then she's out

1:59

partying not wearing a mask the same

2:01

thing with Gavin Newsom he did the same

2:02

thing going to dinner it's always with

2:05

the politicians it's it's here are the

2:07

rules you follow them and then the

2:09

politicians themselves don't it's it's

2:10

hypocritical

2:12

that's a little bit what it felt like

2:14

this morning when Elon Musk band an

2:17

individual's account who was tracking

2:19

the Elon Musk jet when Elon Musk said

2:21

himself hey this is part of free speech

2:24

even though that's not good for my

2:25

security uh you know we're going to

2:28

allow that free speech to occur clearly

2:30

that has since changed clearly now uh

2:33

Twitter has decided no no private jet

2:35

tracking accounts are going to be banned

2:37

and apparently it's now no longer just

2:39

Elon musk's account that has been uh the

2:43

tracker for Elon Musk private jet that

2:45

has been tracked but apparently now

2:46

other private jet trackers are starting

2:48

to disappear as well however because of

2:51

the leak that occurred where Jack

2:54

Sweeney posted pictures this morning

2:56

that came from internal messages within

2:58

Twitter that his private jet account was

3:00

being censored through visibility

3:02

filtering the same kind of nonsense we

3:04

saw in the Twitter files apparently then

3:07

maybe I paid it for a different reason

3:08

but apparently Jack Sweeney that Creator

3:11

who was running the private jet account

3:13

now had all 30 of his Twitter accounts

3:16

banned including his personal one where

3:18

he was kind of exposing his own Twitter

3:20

files he called it

3:22

now uh there's also you know an

3:24

interesting argument about uh tracking

3:26

private jets first

3:28

upon looking into this a little bit more

3:30

most private jets you look at the tail

3:31

number you throw it into flight away or

3:33

boom you could track him you can now

3:35

apparently request a flight blocking

3:38

with the FAA which then restricts other

3:42

people's ability to actually track your

3:44

private jet I believe people have to

3:46

apply for that I'm not sure what the

3:48

exact details of that are but uh there

3:51

was also another opinion from one of the

3:53

folks over on the all-in Pod and I

3:54

thought this was actually a fair point

3:56

he wrote my this was Jason my personal

3:59

belief is that the sustained sharing of

4:02

public information location information

4:04

is de facto doxing if one follow if one

4:09

individual followed another around all

4:11

day and shared their location on a

4:13

Twitter handle called let's just say

4:15

Susan's location that would obviously

4:17

present a security risk a dangerous

4:19

Securities and I think this is

4:21

interesting right uh I I

4:24

think the way all of this private jet

4:27

stuff is being handled though is the

4:28

problem I agree I think if I had a

4:30

private jet and somebody was always like

4:32

oh Kevin's here now oh Kevin's going

4:33

from Texas to Florida oh what deals he

4:36

buying over there for how's that that'd

4:38

be a little awkward at least uh and then

4:40

you know what if there are some haters

4:42

uh I don't know they're fortunately not

4:44

too many of them but there are loud ones

4:47

right and Loud ones are maybe a little

4:49

more unstable they need a little more

4:51

love in their lives you know so uh that

4:54

can create concerns so I get it but I

4:57

think the way to handle situations like

5:00

this is very simple so dear Elon if

5:03

you're listening to this here's a very

5:05

simple blueprint if you're going to

5:07

restrict Free Speech because of a rules

5:09

change

5:10

change the rules first right change the

5:13

rules hey update to the rules everyone

5:15

you do a little notification red banner

5:17

Twitter rules have been updated now the

5:20

following are also considered hate and

5:23

then you could throw in you know things

5:25

about uh clarifications on lgbtq if you

5:29

wanted to or clarifications on race or

5:31

or clarifications on private jets right

5:33

well whatever you deemed necessary make

5:36

the rule hey now everybody's got 24

5:39

hours to read the new rules and we're

5:41

going to start Banning people after 24

5:43

hours

5:44

that would be a reasonable way to do it

5:46

because now if the re rule is written

5:49

into stone well now well I mean rules

5:52

are never written into stone but now if

5:53

the rule is published I should say now

5:55

individuals can look at the rule and go

5:57

okay do we choose to abide or not if you

5:58

choose not to abide you get fired right

6:01

you get suspended if people have a

6:03

problem with the rule they could say

6:05

something about the rule right

6:07

but the concern this morning was that it

6:11

appeared Elon Musk first started with

6:14

hey let's just restrict just this one

6:17

person's account who's tracking my Jet

6:20

and not other people's Jets right that's

6:22

that's not cool if you're going to ban

6:24

the tracking of private jets for

6:26

yourself it should be a ban for everyone

6:28

but then you should also give a heads up

6:30

with a rules change like put that on the

6:33

Twitter rules it's honestly not that

6:35

hard like if you got you know I don't

6:38

know where I mean you probably do it all

6:39

yourself in the back end you know open

6:40

the CSS code or whatever but I'm just

6:42

thinking to myself like I'm gonna log

6:44

into Squarespace and make a quick little

6:45

edit take me less than five minutes to

6:47

throw in a new little rule they're like

6:49

not that hard to do I know you all know

6:51

that but I think that's a better move

6:53

from a PR perspective because remember

6:55

the goal at Twitter is attracting

6:59

advertisers advertisers want the feeling

7:02

of stability not hypocrisy so provide

7:06

stability look hey there's a new boss in

7:08

town the rules are going to be changing

7:10

every Friday at five o'clock then you've

7:12

got 24 hours to accept those otherwise

7:14

we start Banning people okay it's strict

7:17

but at least it would be clearly

7:19

communicated then and again when there's

7:22

one rule it should apply to everyone

7:24

it's not oh only elon's Jet right I

7:28

think that was really the frustration uh

7:30

this morning was that it seemed like

7:33

all of this was just being done on

7:35

behalf of Elon and it started with that

7:37

idea with visibility filtering now it

7:40

appears like it's becoming more Broad

7:42

and maybe it will turn into a rule

7:44

change it's just backwards the way

7:45

that's being done and it's unfortunately

7:47

this kind of management style that does

7:50

create uncertainty for advertisers which

7:52

creates pain for Twitter more pain for

7:55

Twitter very expensive loans what ends

7:58

up happening well you end up in a

8:00

situation where Tesla's gonna probably

8:02

eat it because elon's gonna have to sell

8:04

more I mean take it for example 13

8:06

billion dollars of debt over at Twitter

8:08

let's just assume the average interest

8:11

rate is eight percent on all that debt

8:13

that means Twitter has a Debt Service on

8:17

an annual basis of

8:19

1.04 billion dollars

8:22

that's a million 40. a 1 billion and

8:25

then another 40 million that's a lot

8:27

right divide that by day that's like

8:29

over three million dollars a day in

8:32

interest payments that doesn't even

8:34

include employee expenses you know you

8:37

have 2 000 employees at uh left out of

8:41

the 7 500 or whatever that there were

8:43

say you got 2 000 employees at an

8:45

average uh you know with insurances so

8:48

assume somebody's at a hundred thousand

8:49

dollar salary but then you have fringe

8:50

benefits payroll taxes insurances

8:52

liability blah blah blah blah two

8:55

thousand people

8:56

times 150 000 that's another 300 mil

8:58

right there

8:59

double that for servers infrastructure

9:03

offices other you know expenses ads uh

9:07

mistakes you know just BS that happens

9:09

just double your payroll costs for a

9:11

moment you're sitting at a 1.6 billion

9:13

dollar burn or 1.6 billion dollars is a

9:17

burn when you just lost half of your

9:19

advertisers according to NPR they lost

9:21

half of their advertisers

9:23

it's gonna be tough let's look at

9:25

Twitter's last earnings report and let's

9:28

see how much money they were making so

9:30

all we have to do Twitter uh Q2 was the

9:32

last one Q2 earnings report 2022. uh

9:36

we'll get a quick look at that look at

9:37

that it's still on the CDN right here

9:39

okay perfect so go to the financial

9:42

income statement right here there it is

9:45

okay so for the three months ended they

9:48

had revenue of 1.1 billion that's

9:52

actually great uh that's not bad for the

9:55

three months ended there say that's now

9:57

halved okay now we're sitting at

10:00

somewhere around let's make it make the

10:02

math easy we're sitting somewhere around

10:04

500 million dollars in in quarterly

10:07

Revenue however we've now gone into a

10:11

recession remember that right there

10:13

represents April May June where people

10:15

weren't really yet expecting the

10:17

recession so take 500 million and let's

10:20

drop that by 35 that's going to bring us

10:24

to 325 in quarterly Revenue

10:28

325 times 4 puts you at 1.3 billion

10:32

dollars in potential annual revenue at

10:35

Twitter and we just calculated about 1.6

10:37

in expenses you're losing 300 million

10:41

dollars a year now 300 million dollars a

10:43

year that's not

10:44

the billion a year if especially if

10:46

elon's having to subsidize it but the

10:49

fear of and I don't

10:51

Elon can get this company to a break

10:53

even but let's be clear here

10:56

this is like either creating the buying

10:59

opportunity of a lifetime for Tesla

11:01

because this literally has nothing to do

11:03

fundamentally with Tesla the only thing

11:05

this does is put selling pressure on the

11:08

actual stock or the fear of selling

11:10

pressure on the actual stock changes

11:12

nothing fundamentally but it does make

11:15

some people scratch their heads hey why

11:17

was volume the highest right over here

11:20

that it has been in over a year now this

11:22

right here being October of 2021 right

11:25

it makes you wonder is Elon having to

11:28

pre-sell because the expenses have been

11:29

so high remember we talked about

11:30

yesterday all of a sudden they're having

11:32

to sell I mean I get it they laid off a

11:34

lot of people but they're selling

11:35

computers office chairs espresso

11:37

machines brazing pans

11:40

they're auctioning this stuff off so you

11:42

know hey if you can sell a bunch of

11:44

stuff and get another 50 mil now all of

11:46

a sudden your loss goes from 300 ml to

11:48

250 mil right just ideas I think just

11:52

bottom line Elon like y'all

11:57

just try to communicate a little bit

11:58

better at Twitter probably need to be

12:00

doing that with Tesla too and we can get

12:03

on the right track I really I don't want

12:06

people to be confused that my criticisms

12:08

of Elon are a way to say oh I hate Elon

12:10

I don't like I love Eli I think just

12:12

some of the stuff they're doing at least

12:14

looking in from an outsider is like oh

12:16

not again it's just like you're sitting

12:18

here like face palming like oh my gosh

12:19

why would you do that you know like

12:22

I I get it I heard it like at least 50

12:24

percent of you say it in the comments

12:26

and the other 50 don't when Elon said

12:28

prosecute fauci 50 of people are like

12:30

God damn right prosecute vouching the

12:32

other 50 are like oh my God here we go

12:35

like

12:36

that's not what you should be doing when

12:38

you're trying to attract advertisers

12:40

okay that's all we're not going to

12:41

related litigate all of that and I know

12:42

then some people are like oh but

12:44

somebody's got to do it

12:45

do it when the company's making money

12:47

then okay like doing what things are

12:49

stable it's kind of like like you're

12:51

teetering on uh on on like a pogo stick

12:54

right now like you're on a pogo stick

12:55

and this is you you're on a pogo stick

12:57

in an earthquake and you're like boy I

12:59

hope we don't fall over and go bankrupt

13:00

by the way prosecute fauci and then

13:03

other people start shoving you and

13:04

you're like oh gosh it's getting harder

13:06

to hold on it's like

13:08

I say this to my kids sometimes it's

13:10

like why are you making it worse for

13:13

yourself

13:14

why are you making it harder on yourself

13:16

just stop

13:17

anyway uh all right thanks for watching

13:19

check out the pp coupon code down below

13:21

we'll see you next one goodbye
