0:00

here we

0:01

go we're going to extraction height got

0:04

to get an extra 3 in you know every inch

0:07

matters what does that mean am we going

0:09

to hit the

0:10

curb all right half charged cyber Tru on

0:14

Comfort mode actually it's finally

0:16

happened we get to review the Tesla

0:19

cybertruck thanks to Dennis CW here

0:21

thank you so much for bringing this

0:23

vehicle out here we've got a lot to

0:25

cover we've got great things to cover

0:27

we've got problems to cover and boy I

0:30

have to say there's one reason that

0:32

would actually prevent me from buying

0:34

this car today which I'm disappointed

0:37

about we're going to hit in this video

0:39

but first let's start with the outside

0:41

the first thing that I really want to

0:43

point out over here is one of the things

0:46

that I love about trucks is the idea of

0:48

hanging out by trucks that's the first

0:51

thing I did out here and then I started

0:54

realizing why is this painful it's

0:57

because this Edge is actually on the

0:59

relatively sharp side Jack what do you

1:01

think about that you want to you want to

1:02

touch that tell me what do you think

1:04

about that how do you feel about it uh

1:08

kind of sharp kind of sharp okay kind of

1:10

like a dull knife at Medieval Times or

1:12

blade at Medieval Times right but anyway

1:14

the so sitting here it's great like

1:17

usually at a truck you're going to rest

1:18

on it somewhat like this this is fine on

1:20

the plastic Edge great but it really

1:22

does make you appreciate the sharpness

1:24

of the edge uh when you lean on it now

1:28

what I think this vehicle is is nothing

1:31

more than the Prototype of what is going

1:34

to be the biggest competitor to rivan

1:36

remember rivan makes the Amazon delivery

1:40

vehicles and I think this is your almost

1:43

prototype for the Tesla van now I don't

1:48

know how I love that as an investor

1:50

because it just means we're probably

1:51

another four years away from that

1:53

actually happening but I will say pretty

1:56

impressed with again elon's use of

1:58

trying to save on Mark margin and that

2:00

is rather than having a handle here to

2:03

open the lift G or the gate here what

2:05

you've got is a button that unlatches

2:08

the vehicle on the side uh and then

2:10

we've got our awesome bed now this is

2:13

where the rivan part comes in in my

2:15

opinion this system the rail system here

2:19

Mercedes has this in their Sprinter vans

2:21

and other vehicle manufacturers have

2:24

tried to copy these systems the

2:26

attachments on this vehicle are screwed

2:28

in with torque screw screws so you can't

2:31

easily kind of turn them and move them

2:33

as you might be able to with some of the

2:35

Mercedes attachments they're pros and

2:37

cons to that you get more stability here

2:40

and uh you you get less of a risk that

2:42

they're sort of going to wobble around

2:44

uh and and loosen an object you're

2:46

securing but it does add this extra step

2:48

what I would probably do is if I was

2:50

moving these regularly I'd probably have

2:52

a small drill or or even just torque

2:55

screwdriver perfectly for this size

2:57

always in my trunk or space some where

3:00

uh so that way I could move these as i'

3:02

like I personally think one of the

3:04

biggest utilities of this trunk is going

3:06

to be dividing it with the plastic

3:09

dividers that Tesla sells so and again

3:12

even just leaning like this ouch but

3:14

dividing this with the plastic dividers

3:17

so that way I could permanently have

3:19

tools that I need in various bins I'll

3:22

give you an example let's say I'm an

3:24

electrician and I have one kit for

3:27

changing outlets and switches and I have

3:29

another kit for panel uh Replacements

3:32

I'd like to be able to have those in my

3:34

truck and go I've got boom my Fest tool

3:36

bin or my DeWalt bin or whatever for uh

3:39

switches and lights I've got my bin for

3:41

the panel which these are often

3:42

different tools different size

3:44

screwdrivers whatever uh so I think

3:46

there's a real utility in organization

3:49

here because it's not actually in your

3:51

seated area in the car and it's not

3:53

getting thrown around like in the trunk

3:54

of a car now uh this section here uh is

3:59

your uh you're sort of below uh bed

4:02

storage which there is a good amount of

4:04

storage here but what I really want to

4:06

show off here is these dividing panels

4:09

because this is what I'm talking about

4:11

you want to hold that using these

4:13

dividing panels to really keep

4:16

organization I think a will be underused

4:19

but B should be overused most folks

4:22

aren't going to take the time to go

4:23

through an organize their bed I do think

4:25

there's massive utility in that though

4:27

and it'll be very very useful for people

4:29

who are uh contractors or vendors of

4:32

really any type and these just slide

4:34

into these slots here the nice thing

4:36

about the bed is you have a lot more of

4:39

an adjustment factor with how far apart

4:41

you want to have these uh separators

4:43

because you've got the complete rail

4:45

system here let make sure that closed

4:46

all the way good so uh this is amazing I

4:50

mean it's it's certainly a head turner

4:52

love it really excited about it uh and

4:55

this locking tunnel cover very

4:58

interesting a apparently if you drive

5:00

with it open your fuel economy tanks so

5:04

it's useful for not just locking and

5:06

storage but also the aerodynamics of it

5:09

uh so now let's go ahead and uh give

5:11

this a two second hold here I think uh

5:13

Dennis told us about in a let go and it

5:15

closes all the way we have a little bit

5:17

of video of Jack sitting on top of this

5:20

uh although Dennis you've mentioned

5:22

friends have been up here as well and so

5:24

it not damaged no problems yet eh

5:26

exactly yeah it's supposed to hold up to

5:27

like 300 lb but you want to try it get

5:29

out get up on it okay all right I a

5:32

little nervous about it like I would be

5:34

the guy who's going to end up denting it

5:35

or you know what you go in here without

5:37

this latched yet and you pull yourself

5:39

up and just fall off the back exactly

5:41

I'm not liable but let's give it a shot

5:43

there by the way did you notice that

5:45

shot was actually filmed on a POV camera

5:48

the link to that POV camera is in the

5:49

description down below yeah I mean

5:52

that's that's pretty good it feels

5:54

pretty stable pretty solid up here uh I

5:57

I I would have expected to feel a lot

5:59

lot more bending uh and and I don't feel

6:02

that so it's probably because you've got

6:05

so many of these independent slats that

6:07

are Distributing weight rather than sort

6:09

of point pressure on just like you know

6:12

a board of plywood a thin Board of

6:14

plywood that would be bending in the

6:16

middle here so the slat system is

6:18

probably adding a lot of strength here

6:19

which also allows it to roll up kind of

6:22

like the Ikea Appliance garages so

6:25

really like that very very cool now I

6:26

also noticed we have what look like

6:28

anchor points

6:30

here uh these anchor points will likely

6:32

be useful for ski racks or uh really

6:35

quite frankly anything yeah we just have

6:37

two uh bolt uh opportunities here uh

6:41

there there's screw attachments but I

6:42

can bolt something onto this uh and

6:44

that'll let us go for ski racks do you

6:46

have any intentions for what you want to

6:47

do with yours I mean unplugged has a

6:49

full rack system on every single Mount

6:51

so I'd love to test that out and just

6:53

put a box on it just for fun I love that

6:55

idea what I also love is talking about

6:58

unplugged and this isn't even sponsored

7:00

by unplug I when the Cyber truck was

7:02

first announced I was looking at some of

7:04

their products and I'm like yes they

7:06

know exactly what cyber truck owners are

7:08

going to want and there are two things

7:10

here from unplugged there's this uh

7:12

carbon fiber trim kit that you've got

7:14

here uh and these rims which you were

7:17

saying these are the largest rims ever

7:18

put on a cyber truck yes to my knowledge

7:20

these are 22in rims subex rims from

7:23

unplugged and you got the ko2 big meaty

7:27

tires on top for them yeah got some

7:29

visitors yeah come on by come say hello

7:32

uh so um that's amazing so uh now when

7:38

it comes to actually opening the door

7:40

here we were touching on how challenging

7:43

it is to not actually touch the frame

7:46

there are two options that you have when

7:47

you unlock this you can go for the

7:49

window which I personally don't

7:51

recommend because I think that window

7:52

server Servo rather in there uh is going

7:55

to get worn out by you wobbling this or

7:57

misaligned and the worst thing thing is

7:59

taking a car into the service center

8:01

that's why all the Tesla owners talk

8:02

about loving software updates because

8:04

you don't have to go in the service

8:05

center so I always think of when I touch

8:07

things is it going to end up causing

8:08

more maintenance for me so the other

8:10

option is grabbing it by the weather

8:11

strip here but let's be real this

8:13

weather strip is going to unglue if you

8:16

use this regularly to open and close the

8:18

door especially when you start putting

8:20

forward pressure on this with your thumb

8:22

to go close the door uh this almost

8:24

certainly won't last so that leaves you

8:28

with option number three which is the

8:30

best option but also not the most

8:33

comfortable for grabbing it it is a

8:35

sharp edge I almost wish they had like

8:38

you know a carbon maybe not necessarily

8:40

carbon fiber but some kind of you know

8:43

grip Point uh which it could quite

8:45

frankly be a thing of rubber a little

8:48

cutout or I don't know like what a

8:50

normal car has some some kind of grab

8:53

here uh where it's a little less

8:54

uncomfortable to touch that edge now you

8:56

might be wondering why is this different

8:58

from a normal car so the easiest way to

9:00

Picture This is what is sharper when

9:03

let's say we take a piece of paper if we

9:05

slice our finger down this we might get

9:06

a paper cut right now obviously that

9:08

material is thicker so we're not

9:10

expecting to get cut but when you look

9:11

at a car a car is also made out of

9:14

sheets of metal however those sheets are

9:16

much thinner so that way those sheets of

9:18

metal can actually be bent so if we uh

9:22

Focus here on the $100 bill for a moment

9:25

and we think about this edge here a car

9:28

door normally has a bent side of metal

9:31

like this so when you're touching the

9:33

edge you're touching that rounded Edge

9:36

check it yourself go to your car next

9:38

time you open the car you'll actually

9:40

see the metal is folded back on itself

9:43

and that's why it's softer to hold but

9:46

this is really thick I mean this isn't

9:49

like I think the comparison actually

9:51

might be good rather than using a dollar

9:53

it'd be kind of like trying to bend this

9:55

and it's like I I can't really Bend bend

9:59

that around myself without having like

10:00

some giant Gap here right so I don't

10:04

think bending is the solution but maybe

10:06

like how about a little rubber weather

10:08

stripping I don't know but but something

10:10

would be a little bit more comfortable

10:12

there and of course to leave

10:14

fingerprints on now uh I'm going to try

10:17

a little bit of a rub here on the

10:18

fingerprints you okay with that go for

10:20

it all right but that's why I think like

10:22

ppf or paint protection film on the door

10:24

is probably going to be a hot seller

10:26

from whatever shop that does that that's

10:28

a good point so a little bit of uh juice

10:31

there and a little bit of uh elbow

10:34

grease and it looks like I got a a lot

10:36

out but I will say I still see a little

10:39

bit so we're using the the the St Louis

10:42

Fred here so so maybe they're not the

10:44

best for cleaning things with but yeah

10:47

that is going to take a little bit of

10:48

elbow grease to really kind of rub and

10:50

polish that out uh and I still see

10:54

evidence or residue of the oils of uh of

10:59

the fingerprints so uh I think you were

11:02

mentioning that a SpaceX engineer told

11:04

you that some of the wraps might

11:07

actually we don't know this but could

11:09

potentially like lead to a lack of

11:11

oxygen on the actual stainless which

11:14

could lead to a corrosion yeah so I met

11:16

with not a SpaceX engineer but a space

11:18

engineer and he said that you shouldn't

11:20

same thing you shouldn't wrap the Cyber

11:23

trucks because the stainless steel if

11:24

you wrap it it can't breathe and that

11:26

could lead to corrosion but I wasn't

11:28

sure if he meant like corrosion

11:29

immediately or corrosion in 10 years but

11:32

it'd be kind of weird that Tesla

11:33

wrapping them themselves so who knows

11:35

which is also so weird I mean I think

11:36

there's probably going to be a product

11:38

that is breathable if that is an issue

11:40

but also weird from the point of view of

11:43

I always thought oxida like corrosion

11:45

was caused by oxidation which would be

11:47

exposure to air not the lack of exposure

11:50

to air so I find that very interesting

11:53

but anyway okay so this is the outside

11:55

of the vehicle have you gotten to the

11:56

point where you're you found out how to

11:58

remove these yet not yet okay that that

12:01

was one of the big things when Elon

12:03

first talked about the vehicle is

12:04

removing the mirrors apparently it's

12:06

possible not gotten there yet that's

12:08

okay one thing I noticed is how they

12:10

attached this Foundation series logo I

12:13

joke that you could just buy the regular

12:15

car and then just put a sticker of

12:17

foundation series on but they've done

12:20

something very special here what it

12:21

looks like they've done is it looks like

12:23

they've put a template uh over this area

12:27

uh and then run a very very fine brush

12:29

think of like fine sandpaper and really

12:32

polished this in so the way this was

12:35

done is it was sort of this this rough

12:37

stainless that was polished uh to be

12:39

cleaner almost like a a knife's blade uh

12:42

polish here versus the rest of the area

12:45

so uh creates a very cool uh a cool

12:48

imprint that would be a lot harder to do

12:50

after uh market for for somebody who's

12:52

not obviously you know got a automotive

12:54

garage or some kind of stainless

12:56

polishing tools yeah there's actually

12:58

four places that the foundation is

12:59

marked you got two in the front right

13:01

here one in the interior cabin and then

13:03

one on the back of the car as well oh

13:05

we'll have to see all of those wait so

13:06

in the inside as well let's take a peek

13:08

at that I missed that one so right there

13:10

above oh you're right look at that yeah

13:13

that's really nice right in there on the

13:16

plastic here very cool and then where's

13:19

the other one the last one is right

13:23

here oh yeah yeah very cool but you you

13:27

can see like in every Loc it's a little

13:29

bit different and not like a same type

13:31

of stamp that's awesome so what we're

13:33

going to do is we're going to invite

13:34

Jack here to open the frun and we want

13:36

to showcase the size of this I believe

13:38

this template here will be for the front

13:40

license plate and then we've got some

13:42

tow hooks here uh but Jack there is a

13:45

button in here you'll just have to avoid

13:47

and Dodge this sharp edge here go ahead

13:50

and give that a push yeah look at that

13:52

and then we've got the motorized

13:54

frunk and uh this uh I imagine should be

13:58

strong enough for Jack to go in there

14:00

you think you're okay with that Jack why

14:02

don't you go in there I won't close it

14:03

on you uh we're not going to conduct

14:05

child abuse at least not on camera no

14:07

I'm kidding never uh can you lie down

14:10

and can we see what that looks like let

14:12

see if you could fit completely in there

14:14

yeah okay that's pretty cool man so

14:16

we've got a whole eight-year-old that

14:18

can fit in here uh I I'm not sure if

14:21

that's the use purpose here do would you

14:24

want to sleep in there is that

14:25

comfortable if there's an air

14:26

conditioner so no hop on that's awesome

14:30

give us a a close on this here Jack push

14:32

this and then just watch your

14:34

head now I wonder how painful it would

14:37

be to get bonked by that edge so we

14:39

tried it actually my friend TR of sat in

14:41

here he sat in here and actually it just

14:43

hit it and then stopped so it's actually

14:45

pretty sensitive in terms of not closing

14:46

on people oh good okay and same thing

14:48

with the tunel cover too oh good that'll

14:50

has has a reverse too that's that's a

14:52

good ad that's really good to know okay

14:54

so now let's take a peek inside and uh

14:57

start exploring the inside of the car

15:00

and then we'll give it a drive so that's

15:02

wild yes Jack what do you got um can you

15:04

open this one heck yeah why don't you

15:06

try to open it can can an 8-year-old

15:08

open

15:12

itz nice cuz that's my only other

15:15

drawback is the doors are heavier for

15:17

sure and so significant others Family it

15:19

might be a little bit of a pain to get

15:21

in and out and it's not like the model X

15:22

so the model X opens and closes for you

15:25

jack how heavy was that

15:27

door kind of kind of heavy but you're

15:30

pretty strong right you want to buckle

15:32

up how much room you got back there got

15:34

plenty of leg room

15:36

there

15:38

yeah all right jack go ahead and buckle

15:40

up uh oh very good feature for adults

15:44

you have three latch systems in the back

15:46

you look at the middle seat and see the

15:48

little icons there on the left and right

15:49

of the bottom corner Jack can you show

15:51

the little latch icons you see those

15:54

yeah probably that those uh indicate you

15:57

should be able to fit three three car

15:59

seats or boosters back here so we got a

16:01

booster seat oh cool you went to that

16:03

side that makes this even easier for me

16:05

thank you and so what we're going to do

16:07

is we're going to see how much space we

16:09

have and how easy this is to latch okay

16:12

that's very easy to latch thank goodness

16:14

I hate it when they're hard to get to uh

16:17

this one is on the right a little bit oh

16:21

this one's a little harder oh NOP I

16:22

missed we'll get it Jack we'll get it

16:25

got it okay so oh first booster's in

16:30

look at that Jack you got plenty of room

16:32

there next to the booster can you try

16:34

sitting in the booster for me thanks man

16:38

good sport I can't unbuckle oh you can't

16:41

unbuckle with the booster in there

16:43

yeah um now you

16:46

can there we go all

16:50

right yeah so the booster is going to

16:53

cover up it looks like one of the

16:54

buckles on the left or right this is

16:56

pretty common in almost every car I have

16:59

that struggle when you have a booster in

17:00

the middle seat they cover up somebody's

17:02

seat belt but if I had to go in here and

17:06

seat Bel Buckle yeah there'd be a little

17:08

bit of I'd have to kind of shove them

17:10

around find that middle balance ground

17:13

but otherwise you could do both of them

17:15

at the same time they're both exposed

17:17

now yeah perfect how does that look when

17:19

I'm next to you how do I feel it's

17:22

actually pretty good I couldn't complain

17:24

about this now maybe a full car seat

17:26

would be different like if we had Ella

17:27

and Claire in giant car seats you'd

17:30

probably be squished

17:32

huh probably yeah but that's okay that's

17:34

super normal look you've got

17:36

infotainment are you not

17:39

entertained uh is this the door like

17:42

override on the side here uh that's the

17:44

window no it's the open door you push

17:46

that and the door opens the override is

17:49

this handle yeah a little bit lower okay

17:51

so so in the event of a power loss you

17:54

can pull this up uh you shouldn't do it

17:56

unless you really need to but you could

17:58

pull this up and then open the door so

18:00

you can get out do we have these in the

18:02

back Christian could you take a peek

18:03

there no I don't no overrides in the

18:07

back that's that was consistent with the

18:10

model 3 is that they didn't actually

18:11

have an override that I saw in the back

18:13

I think mine has an override in the back

18:15

does it okay yeah yeah I don't know

18:17

that's really interesting it's not

18:19

intuitive this one's better one a couple

18:22

things I want to point out here I love

18:24

the logo of the cybertruck that almost

18:26

looks like it's weld etched on on to

18:28

here very cool kind of gives you a

18:30

little bit of this rugged feeling for

18:32

the car as it should have since it's a

18:34

truck love the buttons here not entirely

18:36

sure what all these do uh what does a

18:39

square button do that's my back rest

18:42

this is up down forward backwards

18:44

probably your lumbar

18:49

support I don't know I don't know yeah

18:52

that's good maybe it's like a TBD

18:54

software upgrade you know exactly

18:57

special feature to be determined yeah

18:59

see you just hold it for 20 seconds Okay

19:02

cool so uh some other things wait where

19:05

did the red line go there was a red line

19:07

up here I think once you have to close

19:09

all the doors and then start it and

19:10

that's the ambient LED

19:13

lighting or maybe it's just turning off

19:16

cuz it's on auto there we go oh wow so

19:19

in even very bright light that red LED

19:24

strip is beautiful really love that

19:27

touch uh I'm actually surprised at how

19:29

much I like that and you can change the

19:30

color of this exactly so if you go here

19:33

you can see all the different El oh no

19:35

way oh

19:37

wow oh that's okay yeah Jack and it does

19:41

it back here too there strips back here

19:42

on the doors oh do purple you want

19:44

purple that's so

19:46

cool yeah that's that's pretty nice uh I

19:49

wonder if you could attach that to your

19:51

user profile so that way if you know

19:53

let's say Lauren gets in and it

19:55

recognizes her car it changes it to

19:57

let's say a pink or purple or whatever

19:58

she wants and yeah you also get the

20:00

strips here a little harder to see

20:02

during the day but very cool I can't

20:04

really see outside yeah cuz the tunel

20:06

cover is closed right now so you can

20:08

raise the suspension all through here

20:10

and you can open and close the tunnel

20:12

cover wait oh oh when the tunel cover is

20:13

closed you can't see outside you can't

20:15

see outside but you have a digital LED

20:17

or a digital mirror right here ah that

20:19

makes sense right okay that is very

20:21

interesting but if it's open you can see

20:23

outside if it's open you can see outside

20:25

and you can also use the digital mirror

20:26

if you need to as well can we open it

20:28

from in here yes so right here there's a

20:32

button hit

20:34

that you can hear chugging along in the

20:42

back wow look at that now I can see and

20:47

now I can use the mirror too wow

20:50

interesting but you noticed a drop

20:52

inefficiency driving with it open

20:54

exactly uh it was definitely more

20:56

inefficient probably close like 250 to

20:59

200 mil of range if the tunnel pretty

21:01

good drag pretty good drag wow okay and

21:03

I can close it from here as well and

21:05

because it has some kind of oh sorry I

21:07

keep hitting open because it has the

21:09

ability to to sense pressure it won't

21:12

pinch somebody hopefully exactly it's

21:14

got like a safety good yeah can we see

21:16

the ride height difference so you have

21:17

it at entry what does high yeah you want

21:19

to back up as I as I pop it up uh here

21:23

let's close all doors if yall don't mind

21:26

all right we're going to go for a low

21:28

height here we're on Entry right now

21:30

moving up to low now we're going to go

21:32

to

21:34

medium that's kind of bizarre it's kind

21:37

of eerie I mean it's like the X the X

21:39

does it too and the other vehicles so

21:42

I'm surprised how quick it is too like

21:43

it just lifts up really quickly with the

21:47

suspension that's pretty nice wow so

21:50

right now we're at 14 in of clearance

21:53

but the Cyber truck can go to 17 so it

21:55

can still go even higher now why would

21:58

it go even higher for what's called uh

22:01

off-road extraction mode and so when you

22:03

click that you can see it gives you a

22:06

warning little disclaimer and then you

22:08

can go even higher by going back to

22:10

controls and now you can go to High ex

22:13

very high and then extract and extract

22:15

you tried it we did we did the LA River

22:17

and we tried it against a rivan going up

22:19

that angle uh and it got up to 17 Ines

22:22

of clearance let's try

22:24

it uh raise the Cyber truck to maximum

22:27

height only use one necessary here we

22:30

go we're going to extraction height got

22:33

to get an extra 3 in you know every inch

22:36

matters what does that mean holy smokes

22:39

wow wow that's that's a drw I almost

22:42

feel like I need like the Sprinter

22:43

handle here and like a running board

22:45

underneath too yeah exactly

22:48

wow that's a lot higher than when we

22:52

started filming yep so now to get in uh

22:55

I mean I'd probably just go for a grab

22:57

here I could still right I'm 5'9 and a

23:00

half and and I can make it uh with a

23:03

step it's a good step though uh you know

23:06

you feel it with tighter pants and uh

23:09

and then kind of a grab in here so it's

23:13

doable but wow that's impressive that's

23:15

really cool uh now you mentioned that

23:18

one time you were getting in the vehicle

23:20

you dropped one of your cameras over

23:23

here and of

23:24

course you

23:26

know it's not a daily use case to drop

23:29

things on it but I do think it is

23:34

disappointing that a camera dropping

23:36

would almost penetrate that leather as

23:38

quickly as it did it is that's a bummer

23:41

that's because that's a full penetration

23:43

I mean I wonder if you could almost like

23:44

try to pop the leather up a little bit

23:46

to kind of cover it again but boy it

23:48

really got pushed in there like I I

23:51

wonder if you could get a tiny little

23:53

screwdriver and Pop That lip out on the

23:55

other side and then you just see a

23:56

little tear versus this but still you

23:58

might make it worse exactly the problem

24:01

which goes to show like this is supposed

24:02

to be a rugged truck but I do feel like

24:04

the interior is just a little soft ah

24:07

bummer we're going to

24:09

go right now we're in the full left

24:11

position we're going to go full right

24:14

now there we go that was it and we'll go

24:19

full left

24:22

again it already feels vastly different

24:26

from a regular car with the steer by

24:28

wire feature so very excited about this

24:31

all right can we do the back oh yeah

24:33

yeah back okay

24:38

sure

24:42

yeah buckle up and give this a

24:45

shot roll up your

24:48

window now triple tap the front window

24:52

triple tap yep oh that's nice and the

24:56

sound effect too wait wait somebody said

25:01

something oh man it didn't go through

25:04

it's from the aveal event 201 it's a

25:06

clip of Elon going oh man and then he

25:09

immediately walks like oh well it didn't

25:11

go through exactly I love that that's

25:14

really

25:16

cool oh censored oh my effing God that's

25:20

great all right let's give it a shot

25:22

everybody ready buckled up oh can he

25:24

Buckle oh he can and you were able to

25:26

Buckle too mck

25:28

okay well we have tested the Buckle with

25:30

a booster seat in place all right so

25:32

let's give this a shot and uh oh wow

25:36

this is substantially smoother already

25:40

than any Tesla I've ever driven and the

25:42

Teslas are very smooth this is really

25:45

incredible it immediately feels like I'm

25:49

in in an upgrade it's it's like I just

25:51

went from the iPhone 7 to like the

25:52

iPhone 15 or something that's weird uh

25:56

and also really cool so

25:58

first turn in it oh wow it it is almost

26:01

like a psychological like Head trip

26:04

feeling the steering in this this is

26:07

very very cool yeah it gets aggressive

26:10

at low speeds and then when you get to

26:11

highway speeds it's not as aggressive

26:13

but you do have to make adjustments on

26:14

how much it turns there we go yeah

26:18

you're right oh that's nice though

26:21

okay have you have you launched it uh I

26:24

have not launched it but 0 to 60 and 4.1

26:27

uh I think someone tested it and it was

26:28

pretty uh quick okay do you want to

26:30

launch it in a safe spot if you want to

26:33

yeah let's precondition does it go we're

26:35

about to find out so we need to controls

26:39

Dynamics Sport and then is there a

26:42

launch mode like the plads have that I

26:45

have not found where they have like a

26:47

precondition the battery feature no it

26:50

doesn't look like it so okay blinkers no

26:52

yolks we're on the steering wheel okay I

26:55

love the mailman taking photos it's so

26:58

cool yeah it gets attention

27:02

everywhere that's nice and how how do I

27:05

go to that rear view mirror again so

27:07

it's actually a button right here oh wow

27:09

oh yeah it's a physical button mhm but

27:11

now now it's showing me the side because

27:13

I have my blinker set and I imagine when

27:15

I unset this I'll go ah yeah that's nice

27:18

exactly but just like how this is a baby

27:20

mirror it's also a baby screen it's a

27:22

little small there can you enlarge that

27:25

at all nope not at all nice

27:30

wow yeah that's nice uh I think what

27:35

everybody says about it is true it it's

27:37

smooth and we're on the sport mode right

27:41

now pretty impressive yeah so let's see

27:44

we're going 54 now if I go try to go get

27:47

another another 10 miles on

27:50

this nice okay

27:53

okay uh wow so this is also half charged

27:58

right now exactly

28:01

54% yeah and going back to the Comfort

28:03

like probably said this before in the

28:04

past but this is like 30% more

28:06

comfortable than the model X H when

28:08

you're back in the comfort mode when

28:10

back in Comfort mode yes okay I'm going

28:11

to try

28:15

that

28:17

nice but also don't forget these are on

28:19

unplugs unplugged performances 22-in

28:22

rims with the beefy tires so it can

28:24

still get more comfortable with the

28:25

smaller rims and smaller tires that's a

28:27

good

28:28

point yeah how much did that cost you

28:31

the tires uh so they're just letting me

28:32

Demo them right now just because one of

28:35

the first cyber trucks and first 22-in

28:37

rims on a cyber truck

28:40

nice yeah that's really

28:42

cool okay so I guess while while we make

28:45

this turn here uh Christian i' I've I've

28:49

got to reveal why I can't buy a cyber

28:52

truck right now you may have noticed it

28:55

in the last 2 minutes uh I've had to

28:58

drive and I'm not the best

29:01

driver so this car does not have

29:06

autopilot despite you having paid for

29:09

FSD this does not yet have autopilot or

29:13

FSD which have to

29:16

say I I I wouldn't use it then I would

29:19

stick to my plaid until they actually

29:21

had it out mostly because I feel FSD is

29:25

not only so safe but it's so comfortable

29:27

even just me looking back right now I

29:28

feel wrong looking back because I don't

29:31

have FSD on right now uh and even with

29:34

FSD obviously want pay attention to the

29:35

road but boy it just gives you that

29:38

extra feeling of comfort of having a

29:39

co-pilot with you and one that's really

29:42

good that you could trust in 95 to 99%

29:45

of circumstances and you kind of get

29:46

used to knowing where it's going to be

29:48

funky so it's almost like you know where

29:51

it's going to need your help and you

29:52

know where it's not going to need your

29:54

help which almost gives you 100% right

29:57

reliability on FSD my belief is that you

30:00

go 200 bucks a month to pay for uh FSD

30:04

when you want it on subscription or

30:06

Tesla should have a feature where they

30:08

charge you $300 a month but that 100

30:10

extra goes to pay down principal on FSD

30:12

that's a good idea and that's probably

30:14

why in this past quarter they where they

30:16

still are giving free FSD for three

30:18

months with by using a Tesla Pho code

30:20

link Down Below in the description yeah

30:21

so that people can try get hooked and

30:23

then pay the the money for it yeah good

30:25

call all right all right so let's see

30:28

how we turn over here this should be fun

30:30

oh

30:31

nice nice tight turn which should be

30:34

easy with these wheels I guess with the

30:36

turn in the back but this is Mega tight

30:39

so and this is a massive car for this

30:41

there's no way I'm going to make that

30:43

nice nice are you am I going to hit the

30:45

curb no you're good what about the front

30:47

you're good I have no idea how close I

30:49

am to this because this wide angle right

30:51

here is not indicating to me how close I

30:54

am to that I've never made a turn in

30:56

this car before so I don't know where

30:58

that is uh but it's got the radius we

31:02

made it it made it okay wow yeah cuz

31:06

that's the second drawback with this

31:08

like as good stay out there for a sec M

31:10

okay I'll come right back and get you

31:12

all right uh I'll go sorry what's the

31:14

second drawback as good as how these

31:16

cameras are there's no parking sensors

31:19

so no indication of when you're backing

31:20

up to stuff and like other Teslas that

31:22

have the park assist with the cloud this

31:24

doesn't have it wow all right here we

31:28

go all right half charged cyber truck on

31:32

Comfort mode actually going I have to

31:35

say it's pretty good it's it's no plaid

31:40

charged up but uh that's pretty good

31:44

hello this is so cool you are you are a

31:47

celebrity in this driving around I mean

31:50

that person sped up to catch up to us

31:53

just to get a picture of this car and

31:55

we've got a whole crowd of children

31:57

right here just looking at the car so

32:00

very very cool uh okay let's go pick up

32:02

McKay yeah let's try backing up let's

32:06

see how backing up goes oh that's so

32:08

Eerie because I don't have a mirror and

32:10

I'm I'm a mirror back repper ah yeah uh

32:15

and no sensors either no I see

32:20

[Laughter]

32:21

McKay yeah the the no parking sensors or

32:25

really just turning sensors is odd now

32:30

we keep seeing videos on on axe.com of

32:34

of how good the sensors are getting just

32:36

based on the cameras so I would guess in

32:39

the future we'll get our parking sensors

32:43

via softw update it's almost like we're

32:45

driving a little bit of an MVP here like

32:48

a a minimum minimally viable product uh

32:52

but uh I don't know how I feel about

32:54

that because i' I'd be bumping into into

32:56

walls or turns and taking this into a

32:59

parking structure might be a little

33:00

harder well I mean anything you hit

33:02

you're going to win so I'll win uh like

33:06

surviving but I'll I I don't think I'll

33:09

win the repair costs exactly and the

33:11

weight time on repairs like let's say

33:13

you damage it it's going to be 6 12

33:14

months for something to get fixed

33:17

yikes okay so let's head back

33:24

here but you can see like the steer bar

33:26

wire it is a little weird at first but

33:28

once you get used to it it's like

33:29

perfectly nice yeah it's it's I be very

33:32

intuitive and it's it's comfortable is

33:34

what the steer by wire is it's

33:36

comfortable I feel like I'm fighting the

33:38

car less and trying to make those wider

33:40

turns uh or or tighter turns whatever

33:43

I'm fighting the wheel less uh it's

33:46

quite frankly like this is just a

33:48

joystick playing Microsoft flight

33:51

simulator or or yoke playing Microsoft

33:53

flight simulator where I'm controlling a

33:55

whole you know bow 57 and there's very

33:59

little resistance to the action that I'm

34:01

making exactly and that adds to the

34:04

comfort of driving like you've probably

34:05

been in other Teslas where if you're

34:07

driving on the highway you get blown

34:08

around with the high winds this because

34:11

of the weight and size it just cuts

34:13

through and just drive straight you

34:14

don't have to worry about it that's a

34:15

that's a good comparison yeah yeah now

34:18

my favorite steering wheel is no

34:20

steering wheel though and

34:23

unfortunately I have to drive this one

34:25

because there's no FSD dang it don't

34:28

trust me driving thanks for trusting me

34:30

driving not yet what not yet that

34:32

there's no self driving you think it's

34:34

coming yeah Jack how long until FSD

34:38

comes out what's FSD full self driving

34:40

driving

34:43

um uh four years

34:47

later probably like when like they come

34:50

out with or like more people buy them ah

34:54

so you think we've got to get thousands

34:56

of people people owning the Cyber trucks

34:58

first so they could test the systems

35:00

maybe and then when they're comfortable

35:01

to deploy FSD the full soft driving then

35:04

it'll come out yeah

35:07

so Elon time 2 weeks two

35:12

[Music]

35:19

years push it the the here we go come on

35:24

push it oh my God what's happening first

35:27

of

35:28

all that's nice that's Jack you're

35:31

loving that huh Christian can you come

35:33

close and see if we can get this to like

35:35

Splash me in the face cuz I want to say

35:37

get Splash come back come back to me

35:38

then we could say the Cyber truck

35:39

squirted us come here no I don't all

35:42

right here we

35:47

go wow how am I not getting

35:51

squirted this is amazing can I get

35:53

squirted I it would not squirt me no let

35:56

me try over here

35:59

maybe the Cyber truck refuses to squirt

36:02

meet Kevin wait can skirt me do you want

36:06

probably doir

36:08

me apparently not that's pretty good I I

36:11

mean it's pretty good so you were

36:13

mentioning that one complaint is it it

36:15

releases just a little bit uh and

36:17

sometimes that's not enough to actually

36:19

get you a clean windshield uh because

36:21

it's actually launching the fluid from

36:24

various different points on the actual

36:27

wiper itself exactly and what the cool

36:29

thing is you didn't get wet but it does

36:31

collect all the fluid here and drains it

36:34

all the way down here at the bottom oh

36:36

that's really nice oh it drains out over

36:38

here yeah you're right look at that they

36:40

have like a little

36:42

channel here not

36:45

bad okay that platform might get a

36:48

little dirty then depending on how dirty

36:49

your uh your window is very cool thank

36:52

you so much so how how can people follow

36:54

you uh Dennis CW on my channel I talk

36:56

about about how to get the best the on

36:57

Tesla good financing rates and get good

37:00

payments for Teslas this was so amazing

37:02

thank you so much for driving this out

37:03

here that was so nice I got a gift for

37:05

you as well no way oh my gosh let's go

37:08

cyber truck hoodie bro dude thank you

37:11

man that's so nice of you man oh very

37:13

cool so where does that leave me well I

37:15

will say shockingly disappointed about a

37:18

full self- driving I don't think that is

37:20

going to hold back on any cybertruck

37:22

sales and obviously we know full self

37:24

driving is going to come that's like the

37:26

definition of Tesla so am I really

37:29

worried about that as a shareholder

37:31

longterm no am I really worried about

37:34

those rough edges on the

37:36

CT not really I mean who's walking into

37:39

these I think uh it's not great I think

37:42

there are going to be ways maybe we can

37:44

put like a clear uh Edge rubber film on

37:47

it like a like a silicone film maybe

37:49

it's an option something to make it a

37:51

little bit more comfortable but we're

37:53

talking nominal I don't love that the uh

37:57

metal comes up as high as it does at the

37:59

back of the cybertruck bed but if you

38:01

didn't have that edge you'd have the

38:03

plastic Edge and that might get more

38:05

damaged as you're potentially loading

38:06

things into the back so you kind of have

38:08

a little bit more of a sturdy container

38:10

this way so the complaints are really

38:13

really minor obviously I'm not going to

38:16

drive it until I have FSD just because

38:18

there there's a reason I bought a car in

38:20

2017 with autopilot which this car also

38:22

doesn't have uh so look eventually that

38:27

will come the car is going to sell

38:29

everything they produce until FSD and uh

38:32

and and autopilot come so that is not a

38:36

negative for the stock uh in terms of

38:39

once we're past that is this a bullish

38:41

Catalyst for the stock absolutely

38:44

because it shows that Tesla can create a

38:47

completely Innovative

38:48

product and I'm left with minor

38:51

complaints most of them which will end

38:54

up being fixed those parking sensors

38:56

will be there the turning radius was way

38:58

better than I thought it was I just

39:00

couldn't tell because of the first time

39:01

driving the vehicle uh it's so hopeall I

39:04

have to say pretty bullish I'm I I was

39:08

expecting to be a little bit more

39:09

disappointed and even though I was

39:11

disappointed about FSD that shocked

39:14

me as an investor I'm not so worried

39:17

about it because we'll get past that

39:20

what I'm most excited about which I

39:22

don't think folks realize is that steer

39:24

by wire is really just the Prelude to

39:27

the robo taxi this is like an on the

39:30

road test of their steer by wire systems

39:32

to set up for robo

39:34

taxi the rail system in the back is just

39:38

phase one of the van expansion mode and

39:41

that's when we can actually make a

39:43

profitable rivan style delivery truck or

39:46

Sprinter van or Ford Transit and Tesla

39:49

can actually compete in that space as

39:51

well so in my opinion this is just the

39:54

the foundation of an amazing future for

39:57

the company so I'm very excited about

39:58

that and we're not even talking robotaxi

40:00

Optimus or otherwise yet so that's my

40:02

bottom line on this thank you so much
