The Lawsuit Results are IN!!!!

oh my gosh justice has been served in

california and i'm so excited that i'm

able to say that

phrase this is a really really really

good news and

it renews my faith in the legal

injustice system so

a few weeks ago i mentioned that we're

considering suing governor gavin newsom

because he's being a knucklehead suing

his own administration because he wants

special treatment

basically what happened is he signed a

bill into law

and then that bill had to do with recall

elections should one ever come up

and then a recall election came up and

in the law he signed into effect

governor newsom had to do something by a

certain deadline by a certain date

which he failed to do he missed his own

deadline

then he filed a lawsuit saying that well

this whole election thing is unfair it's

not

fair i missed my own deadline but i want

special treatment

i want to be just like all the other

candidates and have a deadline like they

have

it's not fair otherwise it's basically

what he said in the lawsuit

and he even called his own law

unconstitutional

because he gets a different deadline he

has a way earlier deadline because he's

already

somebody in office and it's a law that

he signed into effect so anyway he wants

special treatment because he missed his

own deadline

so he's suing himself he's suing his own

administration to do that

and i'm like this is ridiculous like you

want to know what's unfair is the

governor being able to

pass out covered exemptions in other

words here

you're able to keep your business open

because you're an essential service

like netflix filming on studio lots is

an essential service

while at the same time collecting three

million dollar donations

from the co-ceo of netflix hmm

gets a little shady doesn't it but

anyway governor can do that

get three million dollar donations but

regular candidates like me can only get

thirty two thousand

four hundred dollars per person that's

not very fair

he's certainly not complaining about

that it's nuts

but anyway let me read you this one

little snippet here by the way i'm going

so take a look at what the judge said oh

it's so cool look at the judge

so i read the entire thing here there's

there's a lot of stuff in here and i did

a lot of highlighting but i'm not going

to bore you with all of it i just want

to look at this

it's worth it this is what the judge

says okay it's worth repeating

that the law literally says if you miss

the deadline

you don't get what you want and then it

goes on right here to say keep in mind

governor newsom you signed this bill

into law just weeks before

the deadline on his party designation

passed

so he literally signed this law a few

weeks before

the deadline was up so it like it should

have been fresh in his memory

if he actually read the law he signed

into effect

and then the judge goes on to say look

just because

you made an inadvertent mistake or you

inadvertently

missed it does not justify an excuse

from the deadline even though you're the

governor

and governor newsom even though you're

trying to call your own law

unconstitutional because the

the law you sign is so clear even though

you

apparently didn't read your own law but

because the law is the law

governor newsom no you actually don't

advance

any constitutional claims in your

petition and lawsuit

and as a result you get to jump over

here to the best part

for all the foregoing reasons the

petition is

denied boom signed sealed

delivered governor newsom loses

his lawsuit no that is freaking

awesome we uh we hired attorneys

ourselves

to consult and figure out okay what do

we want to do how do we want to

strategize

about this because this is ridiculous if

he's able to change the rules for

himself

we the money that we spend on

consultations

ended up leading to the conclusion that

let's just wait and see

how the judge responds first because the

judge is probably going to respond

within

10 days it's a really good decision that

we did that

because we only ended up spending like i

don't know a couple thousand dollars

instead of spending 75 to 100

000 on filing a lawsuit so we we got out

with a good consultation

500 to a few thousand dollars i i we're

probably somewhere around two thousand

dollars because i think it was like 500

times four or something like that

but anyway we got out for under two

thousand dollars to just kind of like

see and posture and position and

strategize

which was really really good but

ultimately governor gavin newsom lost he

does not get special treatment

and i'm really really excited to see the

california justice system

finally hand down a win to everyone

fighting

against governor newsom and honestly

thank you because things would have been

really broken if governor newsom

actually was able to

like proceed with something as ludicrous

as this
