Every Time I HIT QUADS! (Six-Figure Pots)
FULL TRANSCRIPT
Let's take a trip down memory lane. This
video is going to include all the hands
in my last six years of playing poker
professionally and all the quads that
I've hit from three playing like $20
pots all the way up to playing 5001k
with nearly a $300,000 pot at the end.
But big thank you to Club WPT Gold for
sponsoring this video. They're doing an
insane promo. They're giving away
300,000 chips as their special oneyear
anniversary on their birthday. But more
on that later. But let's strap in.
You're going to see all the quads that
I've hit throughout my entire career,
and it's a fun one. We have Jack 8
offuit in the big blind, six-handed, and
it's three-way limp pot. Not really much
to talk about pre flop wise. So, we're
going to a flop, which comes 885
rainbow. That's when I start hitting the
record button on this hand. It checks to
the under the gun limper who fires a bet
of $12. Small blind gets out of the way,
and I decide to just make the call here
for 12 right now. And we're off to a
turn. The turn is the last eight. So
once again, we do have quads. What the
hell is going on? I think it's a pretty
decent spot to lead out with quads here
because no one's really expecting that.
But as played, I check and he checks
behind. The turn is a deuce here. We
have to go for value with quads here. We
can't let this check through. So I
decide to throw a bet of $35. He folds
and we take it down once again with quad
eight.
This next hand is a fun one. We pick up
pocket jacks and we open it up to $15
right after getting bluffed. Only one
player makes the call in the small blind
and he's been playing a wide range of
hands. He was the one that had jack six
against us. So the flop comes jack 6 for
rainbow. Top set on a pretty dry board.
So when he checks to us, I decide to
just check it back to balance. He can
bluff a lot as well. And we're going to
see what evaluates on the turn. The turn
is a nine. And when he checks to us, I
am going to have to bet something here.
I throw out a bet of $25. Not really
sure what I get called by, but hopefully
he has a nine or something. So, he does
make the call for 25. And we're off to a
river. The river is the case jack.
Making us quads once again. Quads twice
in a session is something else here. So,
when he checks to us, I really, really,
really, really wanted to polarize myself
and overb the pot, but realistically, I
just don't know what I'd get paid on um
on this board here. So, I chose with a
smaller sizing to get value. I chose a
sizing of $65. And he thinks about it.
He does make the call. So, we do get
paid, luckily, and we show it.
Next, we pick up pocket deuces under the
gun. I open limp this awful hand. It's
just a hand that I kind of want to see a
cheap flop on. The middle position
player raises to $25. There are two
callers to me. And here standardly we're
going to be making the call for just $20
more. Let's go to a flop. Let's go set
mining. Flop comes six deuce. Deuce two
clubs. Oh my god. Set mining turns into
flopping quads. My goodness. Action
checks the pre flop razer who see bets
$50. The button makes the call and
actions onto me. Never going to be
trying to get players off of their hands
right now. We're hoping someone has a
club draw and gets there. So, I flop the
50. We're going to a turn. Turn is the
king of clubs. Beautiful. Expecting
someone to hit their club draw now.
Multi-way. So, I check. The pre flop
razor checks. The button checks around.
That's not good news. The river is I
don't remember a total brick. But I
decided to just check once again hoping
for someone to bet anything. No. They
all check around and we feel a lot a lot
of pain.
>> Oh
yeah.
>> Wow.
>> I suck. Quick interruption in the video
to talk about Club WPT Gold's 300,000

insane promo for the next 3 or 4 days.
So, join me. I'll be streaming some of
it and I'll see you on the virtual felt.
But, 300,000 chips just given away back
to the players to us. Looking forward to
seeing all of the fun results. We've got
a battle back as I just lost a lot of my
profits here. I pick up pocket sevens in
early position. Raise up the $300 and
get the button to make the call. Off to
a flop of ace, queen, jack, two spades.
This isn't the board for sevens, I must
say. Action goes check check the turn.
[ __ ] seven. All right, we turn a set.
Can I bait my opponent to bet this one
here? Action quickly goes check check
yet again. Seems like my opponent's on
give up mode. And the river comes
another seven. My goodness. I go out,
grab some chips, and immediately my
opponent folds. I was going to bet
$2,000 or something like that, or maybe
$1,000. I don't remember. I just
remember grabbing chips and seeing a
fold. Feels like I've been hitting a lot
of quads lately, but it's pretty sad
that I didn't even have a chance to bet
out and win any money here with this
level of quads. Pick up ace9 offsuit on
the button. And we're playing full ring
here now. And by full ring, I mean we're
playing six-handed. So, the under the
gun player opens up the action to $11.
He is a very good and very, very solid
player at this table. So, someone to
look out for. A loose player in the
middle makes the call and actions onto
us here. I don't think I should fold
ever, but um I'm going to lean more
towards being aggressive cuz he can be
opening up fairly wide I think even
though he is under the gun. But I go
with a three bet of $45 and we get one
caller from the under the gun pre flop
razor. So we're going to a flop in
position. The flop comes 957 two
diamonds out there. He checks to us
flopping top. Pretty ideal flop for us
if we're going to be three betting trash
hands like this. So I go for value. I
bet $50. He thinks about it and makes
the call. We're off to a turn. Turn
comes a nine. Once again, he checks to
us and having improved, we've basically
got the nuts here. Obviously behind sets
that turn into boats or something that
flopped a straight like 86. But
regardless, we have the effective nuts
here. So, I size up to $125. I really
don't know what his holding could be yet
at this point. He could be calling with
like a ton of pairs plus gut shots, pair
plus straight draw, pair plus flush
draw. Could be a lot of different
things. So, um, I size up to 125. He
thinks about it and ends up making the
call for 125. We're going to a river.
The river is probably one of the better
cards that we could ask for. It's
another nine. So, we've got a pretty
good hand here with quads. And even
better news, he leads into us for $100.
Music to our ears here. I Hollywood and
pretend to think obviously. But with
only $255 total in our stack, we have
one move and that's to jam. So I go all
in and he now goes well into the tank.
And when I say the tank, he probably 5
minutes of tanking. Um it was a lot a
lot of tanking
for only $155 more. After about 5
minutes of tanking, give or take, I'm
going to assume that he's going to be
calling, right?
No, unfortunately not. He makes the good
lay down. Um, and he said he had pocket
10s. Nice fold to him. Like I said, he's
a fairly solid player. So, um, this was
a really good fold by him for only $155
more. So, we went a really big pot. Um,
it could have just been a little bit
bigger, though. Next pot, we find
ourselves with pocket threes in the
small blind with an under the gun open
to $11. The next act three bets to $35.
And this is a player that has a really
narrow three bidding range here. Even
though we're in the small blind, I have
really great implied odds to cold call
out of position against them. And so
even better though, the button makes the
call and this makes our decision to call
the 35 so so much easier. We call and
the underg player calls as well. So
we're going four ways hoping to see a
good flop. The flop comes deuce three,
four, two diamonds. Bingo. This is what
we're looking for. action checks to the
three better who throws in a bet of $85.
The button thinks about it for quite
some time and then folds. So, that's an
easy decision. If he was to call or if
he was to raise here, this would be a
pretty interesting spot. But anyways, he
folded and now on to me. Definitely a
spot we're going to check raise on such
a wet board. Definitely going to get
called by a lot of the aces and kings
and queens that are definitely in his
range. So, hoping he has that. I go for
a check race sizing to $250
which only leaves myself with about $260
behind. Not a whole lot behind here in
this spot, but the under player folds.
The three better jams his entire stat
covering me and I snap call. Let's go to
a run out.
>> Call.
>> No, I have quad.
Yeah,
>> the three butter never showed his hands
when I showed quads, so we didn't really
have to force him to show his hand, but
we get the full double up here. Playing
nine-handed. Everyone puts $300 each.
And we're playing this game called
Kukaruchu, which is a double board PLO
bomb pot, but it you can only pot or
fold. So, you can only put $2700 in the
middle or fold. And then you run out
both turns in both rivers. And I've got
ace A64. And oh my goodness, I flop the
nut flush on the first flop and then
quads on the second flop. That is the
most unbelievable
flop I've ever seen in my life. And here
we go. One opponent on my right puts in
2,700. I'm going to call the 17002 cuz
that's all I can do. And the button puts
in more money. He puts in his $2,700.
And I have never been more excited to
play this game having quads. So, no
one's going to beat me there. And I've
got the nut flush, which is really hard
to beat as well. This could be the
freest $5,400 I've ever made in poker.
Let's run it. It's unbelievable.
>> It's not [laughter] running. I'm
running.
>> Give me it. Sh it.
>> I mean,
>> no. Surely not.
>> You're short of 100.
>> I know, but I'm winning the pot.
>> Sorry. Don't worry about winning.
>> I'm Come on. No.
>> Don't have a boat.
>> Just go. Obviously to no surprise, our
quads and nut flush will win. The board
did pair on the flush board, but luckily
no one had a full house. And wow, what a
way to cap off an unbelievably fun
session of poker.
>> Question.
>> Rampage with the tanks raises.
>> Okay,
>> you planning on asking as
>> Thank you. I asked if
>> Okay, everyone was acoustic.
>> Is that the words used?
>> Acoustic. Isn't that like a guitar?
>> Mhm. Like an instrument. You can be
strum and then you can hear him hum.
>> Cryptomax makes the call.
>> What's hing?
>> The dead money of the stream of the
nitame. [laughter]
>> Tax is out there.
>> T1000 comes along three ways with his
Dolly Parton. Could have made it more
small.
>> 9 to5.
>> No, that was the right size.
>> And there's the set for Rampage, the man
of the hour, who's had one hell of a
roller coaster on this stream.
>> Is that a song?
>> Mhm.
>> Oh, okay.
>> Kryptoax in trouble flopping top pair.
>> Kryptoax may still be in chat. You may
want to avert your eyes, Cryptomax. This
will not bring back good memories.
It does not look like it's going well.
How about
>> Quadrofenia?
>> Let's do it.
>> All the tents
>> belong to Rampage.
>> Too late for that.
>> So, just basically an espresso.
>> 40 miles.
>> Exactly.
>> Um
I apologize for getting such a good
hand. That's That's my bad.
>> I forgive you.
>> All spades may allow Cryptomax an exit
ramp.
>> For the viewers,
>> feel free to off if you want.
>> Oh, I love it.
>> Oh, they had it the whole time.
>> They got you.
>> All in.
save me.
>> And that spade did save Kryptomax.
>> No spade.
>> Ready for action.
>> Have no spade.
>> Fresh like a spring [laughter] chicken.
I have no spade.
>> No spit.
>> Rampage has his second wind.
>> Giving high fives to everyone around
him.
>> But now I finally pick up a premium. The
ununion player raises to 800. There's a
hijack three bet to 3,000. And I've got
queens playing about $120,000
deep, which is 600 big blinds. I decided
to call. Everyone else ends up folding
though, so sometimes I'm playing a
little bit too conservative here, but
I'm in position at least. And the flop
is king, queen, queen. Oh my goodness.
The last time I flopped quads was
playing on gold from the comfort of my
own home, and you can too with the link
below using my name, Rampage. And back
to this insane flop here. for my
opponent. C bets $3,000. And you know,
when you've got quads, you're just going
to smooth call. Don't want to scare them
off the pot. And there's a good chance I
might be able to win $100,000 from this
one. Couldn't be more excited. And the
turn comes a jack. So, this is a pretty
amazing board to see. King, queen,
queen, jack. He could have a full house.
Give him kings. Give them jacks, please.
Anyways, he checks though, which is a
pretty clear sign for some sort of a
give up. And now I'm torn between
betting and checking. I decided to go
for a small bet of $4,000. But he insta
folds. So no more money here. But this
is not the only time I hit quads in the
session. And then the second time I do
is for a much much monstrous of a pot.
Pocket nines in the next spot. I'm in
the $100 straddle. And there's an under
the gun raised to 250. The cutoff makes
the call. And now on to me. I'm thinking
250 is just not enough. I'm buried in
this game now. down about 20,000. So, I
make it $1,500 to go and we get action.
Both of these opponents make the call
and we're off to a flop of 93 deuce. We
found the [ __ ] flop of the world. I'm
going to slow play and check because how
else can anyone have anything? Unun
player checks as well. And then the
cutoff player throws 1,700 into the
middle. Music to my ears. I'm just going
to slow play. It's a dry board. It's top
set. Let's get after it. I make the
call, hoping to build up the pot. And
the other player folds the turn. Nine.
Oh my goodness, it's quads. It feels
like it's been forever since I've had
quads in a poker game. And I'm going to
check, hoping somehow this guy could
just bluff off his stack, but he checks
this one back. Now the river comes
another board pairing deuce. So a
complete brick. And looking at his
stack, he's got about 6,000 there. And
we've got quads. I kind of want to play
for all of I don't really trust this
opponent to bet his $6,000 stack in the
middle himself. So, I'm going to do it
for him. I put all the blue chips in the
middle, signifying my opponent will be
all in if he calls. And he goes into the
tank. And I'm just praying, man. Please
call. I've been having a pretty rough
night or up and down night at least. I
just lost $8,000 pre flop with pocket
eight to the hand before. This one would
be a really great one to win. And he
sticks it in. Let's go. Getting paid by
quads is insane. I show the hand, of
course. My opponent gets stacked. We
ship all the chips my way and we win.
>> Also, just because I got bullied.
>> Okay, maybe Rampage is locking it up.
Just calling with H6 suited out of the
small blind.
>> Which I'm sure theoretically
totally fine,
>> especially when you're going to do this.
>> Ace ace ace.
>> See that? 400.
>> Every single ace in [laughter] the deck
for Rampage that happened the last two
sessions of it
>> be accompanied by a Wolf Gang short on
YouTube.
>> Whoa.
>> Whoa.
>> Wolf gang. I know you're not going to
believe this, but uh they're going to
have this whole thing in 4K just for
you.
>> I know, but
>> yes, we do have cameras here. Thank you.
>> I won't get Brazil god saying whoa.
>> Whoa. [laughter]
>> But the chuckle, too.
Real behind the scenes looks
both Rampage [laughter] and Manning.
Stuck around.
>> I'm just really excited about this.
>> Whoa.
>> Thank Madden got the memo.
>> Two calls.
>> Now there's one.
>> Get rid of everyone including this next
street. You'll be gold last known
survivors. The thriller
>> king,
>> how much?
>> Uh,
>> you have a reveal button.
>> Oh, in case you want to use it. Yeah.
>> No, no. He's saving it.
>> No, no, no. Don't save it, please.
>> Might be a nice bluff to use the reveal.
>> I like that.
>> I'm confident about this one.
>> Excuse me.
Use your button. Use it and check raise
him. Let's go.
>> Right.
>> I'll just check him now.
>> No. Don't you want to use it now?
>> Makes a 50k. Let's see.
>> 30,000.
>> Oh my.
>> The dream spot for Rampage.
>> What? [laughter]
>> Right now.
>> Right side.
>> And now he uses the reveal.
[laughter]
And he got him to pick the one he
wanted.
>> Beautiful all the way over to [laughter]
>> pick your whichever one you want.
>> But definitely pick this one.
>> Rampage. [laughter]
>> All in.
>> Raise all in.
>> Wow.
>> I know. [laughter]
What is going on right now?
>> Finally used it. [laughter]
>> I used it.
>> What are you doing?
>> Well, at least he used it. Now someone
else can get it and
>> I can.
>> Oh man,
>> he will drag a massive pot. I
>> pick up pocket threes in the cutoff.
Little baby pairs. Got to love that. I
raise up to 500 and I get the button to
immediately three bet me to 1,700. Small
boy makes the call of the 1,700 and I'm
priced in to set mine because everyone's
playing pretty deep stacked. And if I
hit a set here, it's going to be pretty
disguised. I make the call and we see a
flop of 953.
Let's freaking go. We're in [ __ ] City
here. Action checks it over to the
button player. Of course, I'm going to
check my bottom set to my opponent. He
makes it 2500. Small blind gets out of
the way and folds. And now with bottom
sets, I think I just have to check raise
uh for a lot of different reasons
because one, I have a very strong hand
when we're playing very deep stacks. I
don't want to see a bad turn cut where I
can't get much value. Uh and if he has a
flush draw, then I would like to charge
for that flush draw. And if he has an
over pair, then I'd like to stack that
over pair. So, I make it 7,000 right off
the bat. Starting off with a check raise
here, trying to get some value. And my
opponent tank calls with about 30,000
behind. So, here when he calls, it seems
like he must have a very good hand. And
I hope he has like aces or something
like that. So, we're going to a turn
with one of the bigger pots of the night
brewing. Now, turn is the jack of
hearts. It's okay. Okay. I certainly
could be losing to pocket jacks here now
at this point, but I can't be afraid of
monsters under the bed. I've definitely
got to go for value. And I think I have
one of two options, which is somewhat
tricky here. I certainly could go half
pot, maybe. I want to size for an allin
on the river, and I don't want to get
too greedy on this turn card here,
right? So, if he has 30k behind, I can
get 10k on turn, then 20k on the river.
Or I could also just shove all in right
here, right now, and I get all the hands
that are already going to call to commit
their stack. Aces, kings, queens. I
can't imagine those hands are ever going
to be folding to an all-in bet. I take
my time and think about those two
options and I decided to just go for
what I said in the first place. Just bet
10,000 half pot. It seems like a very
easy decision to commit his stack on the
river here and not get too greedy. I
don't want to risk losing value if my
opponent has a flush draw or something
cuz he's never going to fold a flush
draw to a half pot bet. So, for that
reason, I make it 10,000. And my
opponent takes his time and ends up
making the call, which is lovely because
that means the pot is bloating up.
Almost $40,000 into the middle. And
let's see what happens. River is the
three of clubs. What overkill, guys. I
have quads. Uh [laughter] I have quads
with 40,000 in the middle. And I'm going
to announce allin for his last 20,000. I
take my time. I Hollywood it over. Of
course, I can't just immediately snap
all in because that looks really tricky.
I finally announce allin after
pretending to think. And my opponent
goes into the tank. And when he doesn't
snap call, I don't love it cuz he
obviously doesn't have a flush. And he's
thinking about contemplating on a fold
with an over pair, which would be a
disastrous situation. Anyways, he takes
his time and ends up announcing a couple
things out loud. He says he can fold
sometimes, which is not really what you
want to hear when you want to get
called. And he says he'll call 25% of
the time. Seems like he does some sort
of randomization of the 25% and ends up
folding and letting me know he folded
aces with the ace of clubs, which is
such such a sick fold by him and a very
very good one at that. So, I got to give
my opponent props. I've got pocket fives
on the button
>> and I raise it up to $2,500. The small
blind makes the call and then the big
blind decides to three bet to $13.5,000.
And look, I've got a small pair and it's
a little bit scary to navigate, but I am
in position and we're going to have to
figure it out on the fly. So, I flick in
$11,000 more. The small blindfolds and
we've got a pretty big pot here going
pre flop and the flop is queen 53.
Oh my goodness. Middle set in a three
bet pot. And we're playing super deep in
a 5001k game. Guys, I need to remind you
the insane stakes we're playing. My
opponent fires out a half pot bet of
$14,000.
Guess what I'm going to do with middle
set? I'm going to call because why would
you scare off a customer like this? When
the turn comes a king, it brings two
flush draws on the board here. And when
my opponent decides to slow down for a
check, well, this one seems a little
tricky. I could go for small or big
size, but considering I don't know if my
hand needs that much protection after a
check on this turn, I throw out a small
bet of 18,000. Small considering the
size of the pot. Certainly not small
with the real amount of dollars that
could be used. But what's great is that
my opponent makes the call yet again.
And we're off to a river card with the
pot ballooning up. And it's another
five. What? We [ __ ] quads for the second
time this session and my opponent checks
and we are playing for it all.
Obviously, my opponent's got $85,000
left in this stack. And guess what? I'm
not going to just bet a random amount.
I'm going for all of it. You've got
quads. You want to win the max. And we
decide to ship it all in. And all I have
to do now is sit here and pray for a
call. My opponent's in the tank. He's
thinking about it left and right, upside
down, front side up. He's thinking about
every possibility of what I could have
here to jam, but I don't think he's
putting me on fives. I'll tell you that
much. He's thinking I might have a king.
I might have 67 for a bluff. I might
have some misdraws. I really want him to
fold, but at the end of the day, he
thinks his hand is too good to fold.
It's clear he's got a queen. And he
makes the freaking call with queen jack.
And oh my goodness, this $280,000
pot is coming my way via quads. I can't
believe the words that's coming out of
my mouth and I can't feel any more
stoked. I've stayed up all night for
this game. It's nearly 78 a.m. and I've
just stacked my opponent for so much
money with quads. This is literally what
dreams are made
