0:00

the steepling of the yield curve a

0:02

border crisis the United Auto Workers

0:04

strike and a government shutdown along

0:06

with what the heck is going on in the

0:09

bond market we have a lot to talk about

0:11

and it has big impacts on your economic

0:14

wealth let's get into it first look at

0:17

this this once I remove myself is the

0:21

inverted yield curve I want you to

0:23

remember that this zero line right here

0:25

breaking this is usually what signals a

0:27

recession with the exception of one time

0:29

when we had a soft Landing in about the

0:31

mid 90s where we didn't even really

0:33

invert that deeply but yet tiny little

0:35

bit of an inversion usually this does

0:38

accurately signal a cutting recession

0:40

especially when you have one that's this

0:42

deep basically the line going this low

0:44

and the painful parts are not actually

0:48

the going down part usually although

0:52

last year it was usually the painful

0:56

parts are what's known as the rest

0:59

deepening that's when the line starts

1:01

trending back up you'll see this really

1:04

rapid explosion here this was during the

1:08

march banking crisis and of course it's

1:11

a volatile graph like any graph but the

1:13

March banking crisis along with tax loss

1:16

harvesting right at the end of the year

1:17

led to some of the larger pain points

1:20

now we're starting to see a similar run

1:23

up that actually began right here around

1:26

July 19th which is right when the stock

1:30

market really topped out since July 19th

1:33

at best we've really been sideways on

1:35

most stocks in most cases though we've

1:37

started seeing the momentum stocks that

1:39

we're really running this summer give up

1:41

all their gains again if not some of

1:43

them are even lower than where they were

1:45

and other stocks are under heavy

1:47

pressure compared to where we have been

1:49

relative to July a lot seeing the

1:52

inverted yield curves re-steepening to

1:55

blame for this that you're actually

1:57

potentially driving billions of dollars

1:59

of selling simply algorithmically that

2:03

algorithms are saying okay when the

2:06

10-year Rises significantly and the

2:09

two-year does not rise a lot what

2:12

happens in that case well the longer end

2:15

of treasuries becomes more expensive and

2:19

the shorter end the two-year end doesn't

2:20

well that's the uninverting of the yield

2:23

curve it's the steepening that

2:25

steepening is painful and that's

2:28

probably what we're experiencing now

2:30

it's not just painful for stocks though

2:33

take a look at this this is Deutsche

2:35

Bank oh quickly I forgot to mention next

2:37

Friday we are raising the prices on the

2:39

pre-sale of the new verse Pro it's

2:42

really inexpensive right now it's 79

2:44

there are like 10 different options of

2:46

the new Bruce Pro crash courses you

2:48

could check out these are very specific

2:51

targeted crash courses to be very

2:54

efficient brand new material they're

2:56

really good the crash courses don't come

2:58

with the live streams you can add that

3:00

in that's how the price is also so low

3:02

so they're they're a little shorter uh

3:04

they're very very targeted 79 bucks

3:06

really great intro so check those out

3:09

you could bundle up you could get into

3:10

the crash courses but the price will be

3:12

going up next Friday so go to meet

3:14

kevin.com to learn more about that

3:15

Deutsche Bank now arguing that these are

3:18

the the worst Bond losses that we have

3:22

really seen since World War one and

3:25

quite frankly if you go all the way back

3:27

to the beginning of the 1800s you have

3:30

not seen these kinds of losses with the

3:33

exception of world war one that bonds

3:36

have been experiencing this is a really

3:39

tough time for markets and people are

3:42

pissed rightfully so now I'm dealing

3:45

with inflation and the balanced 60 40

3:47

portfolio of stocks and bonds is is a

3:50

completely topsy-turvy so it's painful

3:52

for a lot of folks but in addition to

3:55

that we wonder when will the pain and

3:59

Bank of America is reporting that we're

4:01

becoming more bearish as a market again

4:03

which is often a Buy Signal it's

4:07

contrarian Buy Signal on top of that

4:09

Bank of America's heart net suggests

4:11

that when it comes to Bank of America

4:12

private uh clients excuse me losing my

4:15

voice a little bit when it comes to Bank

4:17

of America private clients out with 3.2

4:19

trillion in assets under management

4:21

their clients are in stocks to the tune

4:24

of almost 60 percent it's actually

4:26

pretty decently allocated only about

4:29

11.9 stocks or sorry cash and 21.3 bonds

4:35

however this week represented the

4:38

biggest selling of stocks in four months

4:42

cash and t-bill inflows stayed strong

4:45

that's going to be your money markets

4:47

your cash accounts people are throwing

4:49

money into the money markets and again

4:50

it makes sense why would you touch bonds

4:54

right now the only way you touch bonds

4:56

is if you already own bonds or if you

4:59

really want to take this this like

5:01

really Cavalier approach of I'm doing

5:04

the contrarian bet the contrarian BET

5:06

right now is you go long like TLT or TMF

5:09

uh TLT is your 20-year bond fund uh TMF

5:13

is your triple leverage bond this is

5:15

basically a way of saying that's it you

5:17

think yields of time opt and you're

5:19

willing to suffer for you know a few

5:21

months because you think that'll bet off

5:23

big or pay off big rather and yield to

5:25

plummet and bond prices will Skyrocket

5:28

in such a case you would experience

5:31

capital appreciation in bonds and likely

5:34

those two ETFs those exchange trading

5:36

products the problem is when you're

5:39

earning a five and a half percent yield

5:41

on money markets why bother with

5:43

investing in the 10-year at four and a

5:44

half when you have the risk that maybe

5:48

four and a half isn't the peak maybe

5:50

it's gonna go to five percent maybe it's

5:51

gonna go to six percent maybe mortgage

5:53

rates are going back to double digits

5:55

and ten percent

5:56

but that's the way markets work it's

5:58

kind of like when Tesla was plummeting

6:00

and was down at 106 dollars everybody's

6:03

like but everyone waiting until it gets

6:05

the sixty nine dollars

6:08

no that's that's the emotion of the

6:10

stock market it's just like in Baltimore

6:12

much of an extent when markets are

6:16

euphoric it can't go down it's gonna

6:19

keep going better good to know because

6:21

you'll miss out otherwise and then of

6:23

course when things are a bearish they

6:26

can't really perish uh anyway this this

6:29

is all compounded obviously by the fact

6:31

that the Federal Reserve has sort of

6:32

walked back this idea of uh significant

6:35

rate Cuts really only dropping rates

6:37

maybe to 5.1 by the end of next year I

6:39

think something will break by then I

6:41

mean no guarantee somebody I mean we

6:43

thought things were going to break in

6:44

2023 knock on wood so far they haven't I

6:47

mean we did have a banking crisis it was

6:49

my little big question before Adventure

6:51

collapse yeah it's just a little

6:53

rounding error okay but yes short of

6:55

that we didn't have any real massive

6:57

economic issues that broke and destroyed

6:59

our economy this year with the exception

7:01

of just the lingering effects of high

7:03

inflation and so now the question is

7:05

well what's going to break next year and

7:07

if nothing breaks next year does that

7:09

mean maybe the fed's like I don't know

7:10

maybe maybe we don't even lower rates at

7:12

all next year just it's just not gonna

7:14

be good for Real Estate I really think

7:16

patience is going to be so key for real

7:18

estate and and I know I mean obviously

7:20

we're fundraising for house hack right

7:22

now uh you can invest for no fees uh

7:25

obviously we have some um uh some

7:27

processing fees uh that on our end we

7:29

have to pay with having a payment

7:30

processor and stuff like that uh but uh

7:33

you yourself you can pay uh you could

7:34

ACH invest right now you could credit

7:36

card invest right now it's really

7:37

convenient uh what we've got set up at

7:39

househype.com read the circular there

7:41

but when it comes to the real estate

7:42

market I think patience is going to be

7:45

so so important uh and I really believe

7:48

that right now watching what happens

7:50

over the next few months is critical

7:53

what we're doing just so you know how

7:54

we're preparing is we're preparing by

7:56

making sure we have CIS all of our

7:58

systems all of our ducks in a row

8:00

everything lined up we're renovating the

8:02

properties that we own which isn't too

8:03

many properties but we're renovating

8:05

what we own uh and we're using these

8:08

initial properties at house hack to

8:09

really say okay like let's just say you

8:11

had five properties now or ten

8:13

properties now it doesn't really matter

8:14

take the take what you have now now make

8:17

perfect systems so that way if things

8:20

really do hit the fan in the future we

8:22

could go okay now we got an extra 20

8:23

this month now we get an extra 20 this

8:25

month now we get extra 20 this month and

8:27

we're able to actually process all of

8:29

that business so to speak uh working

8:31

with vendors and contractors and finding

8:33

contacts and all of that and we're able

8:36

to do that and handle that when we need

8:38

to so it's a really it feels like prep

8:40

time because really higher the FED stays

8:44

for longer the more just unaffordable

8:46

real estate because then of course I see

8:47

everyone's comments and I see this

8:49

individually in markets as well yes

8:50

there's no inventory people always say

8:53

that but they're probably also not

8:55

looking at the real estate market every

8:57

single day and Nationwide going damn

8:59

there's a lot of houses hitting Market

9:01

every day that's what I see I see a lot

9:03

of houses hitting the market every

9:04

single day because the real estate

9:06

market doesn't stop you still get

9:07

properties hit at the market they just

9:09

don't sit on the market that long they

9:10

sell well until now and if you look at

9:14

data that we see most data we see just

9:16

on the Internet is two months old or at

9:19

least three weeks old three weeks to

9:21

eight weeks old that's the data you get

9:23

on the internet so you have to be really

9:24

careful what you should be doing is you

9:27

should be going into your market like

9:29

let's say you live in Toledo Ohio right

9:31

Toledo Ohio you should be going on like

9:34

Zillow or whatever for Toledo Ohio and

9:37

you just type in homes for sale whatever

9:39

Toledo Ohio Zillow 480 homes on the

9:42

market in Toledo Ohio I don't know why I

9:43

picked Toledo Ohio okay you can get a

9:45

house for 4 40 grand out there holy

9:48

smokes anyway

9:50

if that number Rises you have a daily

9:53

indicate you could have a daily

9:55

spreadsheet and watch inventory change

9:57

every single day in every single Market

10:01

and of course inventory is low but if

10:04

you start seeing it go wait a minute a

10:06

month ago it was 400. now it's 480. and

10:09

then next month it's 600. what do you

10:12

think's happening okay no little tricks

10:15

of the trade for simple ways to pay

10:17

attention to this you don't have to

10:18

don't over complicate real estate as

10:20

soon as you over complicate real estate

10:21

you end up facing problems okay so uh

10:24

what do we actually got going on though

10:26

uh in terms of this government shutdown

10:28

uh and what's going on with Ukraine well

10:31

actually both of these things combined

10:33

this was remarkable the Pentagon is now

10:35

going to exempt Ukraine Ukrainian

10:38

operations funding for Ukraine from a

10:41

potential government shutdown

10:43

now this is really convenient because

10:44

Republicans are well

10:47

we're gonna we're gonna hold up funding

10:50

because we're not convinced we want to

10:51

send more money to Ukraine and the

10:53

Democrats are like no we will not sign a

10:55

continuing resolution or a stop debt

10:58

funding measure unless there's funding

10:59

for

11:00

Ukraine and then you'll have the blood

11:03

on your hands of shutting down the

11:04

government so to speak uh and then as

11:07

this debate is going on between

11:08

Republicans and Democrats the pentagon's

11:10

like

11:11

we're just gonna

11:14

um spoiler keep funding Ukraine anyway

11:16

no matter what you do with your

11:19

government shutdown

11:21

oh and it's kind of like Republicans are

11:22

like what the hell we wanted to make a

11:24

point and Democrats are like

11:28

it's coming it's a crazy time word but

11:31

anyway uh the decision by the Pentagon

11:33

and quote ensures that American tactics

11:35

and equipment for Ukrainian forces can

11:37

continue without interruption the

11:39

exemption is in effect if uh lawmakers

11:41

fail to fund our government by September

11:45

30th which is when we would expect a

11:46

potential government shutdown this also

11:49

includes funding operation Atlantic

11:51

resolve operation Atlantic resolve

11:54

provides oh basically rotational

11:56

deployments of a combat ready forces to

12:00

the Eastern flank of the Ukrainian

12:03

borders to show our support to Nato and

12:05

it enhances deterrents on that Eastern

12:08

flank operation Atlantic resolve was

12:11

actually created after Russia invaded

12:14

Crimea in 2014. U.S military activities

12:17

including training of UK or a UK of

12:20

Ukrainian soldiers and shipments of

12:23

weapons will uh continue as well in

12:26

addition to that Joe Biden did did

12:28

announce a new Aid package this new Aid

12:32

package is an additional 325 million

12:35

dollars in military aid Joe Biden

12:37

announced this just yesterday during a

12:39

meeting with zielinski this is the

12:42

fourth package of additional funding

12:44

that we have seen for Ukraine in the

12:46

last six weeks it is separate from the

12:49

24 billion dollars Biden wants Congress

12:52

to approve Biden said there is a no

12:55

nation that will be secure if the U.S

12:58

does not help Ukraine now the package is

13:01

now expected to include air defense

13:03

capabilities cluster Munitions anti-tank

13:05

weapons and more keep in mind like there

13:08

there was this convention on cluster

13:11

Munitions assigned uh by 123 Nations

13:14

back in 2010 and the reason they did

13:18

this is because these cluster Munitions

13:20

like they had this fail rate of like two

13:23

to forty percent which basically means

13:25

if you had like 100 little cluster bombs

13:27

like two to forty of uh two to four

13:30

hundred of them sorry well out of a

13:32

hundred two to forty of them would not

13:34

detonate and then you have these Duds

13:36

somebody's got to go around and clean up

13:37

all these minefields that are being

13:39

bombed and then the leftover dud cluster

13:42

Munitions or or weapons it's gonna be a

13:44

disaster in eastern Ukraine for a long

13:46

time people are gonna pick this stuff up

13:47

and blow up it's a problem and have a

13:49

really big clearing effort that's the

13:51

bombs on Munitions consisting of a

13:53

projectile known as a parent emission

13:55

the transport several hundred baumlets

13:58

or cluster munitions

14:01

dropped by aircraft or launched from the

14:03

ground cluster bombs are designed to be

14:05

dispersed over a wide area the size of

14:07

several football pitches

14:11

as these weapons are generally

14:13

free-falling they can strike the ground

14:15

a considerable distance from the target

14:16

area if they're not used correctly or if

14:19

conditions are for example windy in

14:21

addition not all bomblets detonate on

14:24

impact they thus become de facto

14:26

anti-personnel mines banned by the 1997

14:30

Ottawa convention years after a conflict

14:32

is over they can kill dozens of people

14:34

including small children attracted by

14:36

their bright colors I'm sure BlackRock

14:39

would love to be involved

14:42

conspiratorial here but it's worth

14:44

noting that Russia Ukraine and the

14:46

United States have not actually signed

14:48

that agreement and so the United States

14:50

uh still has cluster Munitions and even

14:53

though they don't manufacture many of

14:54

them they've got plenty of them

14:56

stockpiled and now they're sending them

14:58

to Ukraine to use they're actually quite

15:00

functional for the purpose that Ukraine

15:03

is fighting right Ukraine is fighting

15:05

Russia's Dragon Teeth fortifications

15:06

which are basically like you know the

15:08

anti-tank well x's and triangles uh and

15:12

then you've got the Mine Fields and then

15:14

you've got the trenches cluster

15:16

Munitions are great for this because you

15:18

just you just blanket bomb an area and

15:20

then the mines blow up and you hit the

15:23

trenches easily uh and you can basically

15:25

get through the Dragon's Teeth Ambush

15:27

setups much easier rather than using

15:30

targeted missile strikes uh which

15:33

targeted missiles are great against

15:34

buildings cluster Munitions are great

15:35

against well what Ukraine is fighting

15:38

look I'm not like a military Intel guy

15:41

here okay just like I'm just trying to

15:43

catch you up a little bit but all of

15:45

this is related as well to this

15:48

government shutdown on the drama that's

15:50

happening right now for example listen

15:52

to this

15:53

apparently some in the GOP right now

15:55

just blockaded McCarthy yesterday for

15:58

the second time in three days leaving

16:00

McCarthy unable to bring his own

16:03

spending Bill to the floor like he can't

16:05

even pass his bill which he knows the

16:08

Democrats won't go for anyway

16:10

because you've got some hardlining him

16:13

in the GOP they're like yeah no no no no

16:15

we don't we don't even like your idea

16:17

and a lot of people don't like McCarthy

16:19

remember how hard it was for McCarthy to

16:21

get in the problem a lot of

16:23

contentiousness and a lot of people

16:26

probably gonna be pointing the finger at

16:28

Republicans for government shutdown but

16:30

you know what a lot of Republican

16:31

constituents are like you know what

16:33

Kevin

16:34

I want the government to shut down I'm

16:36

tired

16:38

that's true I think government spending

16:41

is pretty insane uh right now but uh but

16:43

it it it you know what at least you can

16:46

rest easily and knowing that Ukrainian

16:50

Pilots are still going to be trained via

16:52

Pentagon funding for F-16 fighter jets

16:54

the US Army's embra M1 Abrams at tanks

16:58

will still be expected to be delivered

17:00

and thousands of more Ukrainian troops

17:03

are expected to be trained using U.S

17:05

adalahallas want to know something else

17:08

about U.S dollar Hollis

17:10

they ever heard of the F-35 you know the

17:15

disappearing airplane okay maybe maybe

17:17

that's just a joke it actually is a joke

17:20

we did have an F-35 that it just uh

17:24

suddenly happened to go missing after

17:25

crashing anyway we don't have to think

17:27

conspiracy spirit that okay whatever

17:28

crashed in a dance forwards that's fine

17:31

ignore the conspiracy nothing to see

17:33

here but where there is something to see

17:35

is this look at what the financial times

17:37

just said this is ridiculous it involves

17:40

trillions of dollars now before we keep

17:42

going a quick note from our sponsor

17:44

Weeble paid sponsor but you know what

17:46

they're also about to pay you because if

17:48

you sign up for Weeble not only do you

17:50

get free socks but you could earn five

17:53

percent on your cash as you're waiting

17:55

to pull the trigger or buy the dip now I

17:58

actually like that a lot because I'm

17:59

worried that sitting on cash for too

18:01

long could create an opportunity cost

18:03

but if your cash is ready to go and you

18:06

see an opportunity on Weeble you know

18:08

you could trade on it right away I

18:10

personally like sorting by either market

18:12

cap small or big or by sorting based on

18:15

the movement in the day to see where

18:17

there might be some action to trade on

18:19

if I find an opportunity what I really

18:21

enjoy about Weeble is that I can hop in

18:23

and immediately Place option trades

18:25

calls sell puts sell calls you name it

18:29

or I could get my FIB retracement lines

18:31

up pretty fast and start checking out

18:34

hey are my Trends okay here or are we

18:37

about to keep tanking somewhat like oh

18:39

we won't talk about that one but the TA

18:42

was telling us and it was all on Weeble

18:45

so one thing I love is Weeble and I

18:49

encourage you to check it out not only

18:51

are your securities sipc insured up to

18:54

five hundred thousand dollars but your

18:55

cash can be secured up to nine hundred

18:58

thousand dollars in some cases check out

19:00

the terms and conditions at a Weeble and

19:02

make sure to use my link in the

19:04

description down below I really

19:06

appreciate it helps the channel out a

19:07

lot and I hope you enjoy using Weeble as

19:10

much as I do because quite frankly I use

19:12

it every single day here it is the

19:15

Pentagon says that the country's Fleet

19:17

of F-35 fighter jets can only fly a

19:20

little over half the time because

19:23

maintenance issues keep the aircraft on

19:26

the ground despite the growing Reliance

19:28

on f-35s by the United States but not

19:33

only that despite the fact that the

19:35

plane is only functional 55 of the time

19:37

the US military wants to buy 2 000 more

19:40

of them by the mid-2040s over the next

19:42

20 years and that is expected to cost

19:44

over 1.7 trillion dollars

19:50

1.7 trillion dollars

19:52

for aircraft that are only functional 55

19:55

of the time right now I I

19:59

like let's just say if I was gonna spend

20:01

1.7 trillion dollars I'd be expecting at

20:04

least 69 up time

20:08

okay tether

20:10

this is ridiculous tether apparently

20:12

stablecoin issue right Heather has like

20:15

an insanely profitable business model

20:18

insanely profitable they literally take

20:21

cash that's deposited and turn it into

20:25

gold by parking it into money markets

20:28

getting like a 5.3 yield with like no

20:31

freaking risk the biggest risk is that

20:33

people are like I need to dump my tether

20:35

but so they basically created nothing

20:37

and then are able to create or get cash

20:40

from people and earn massive interest on

20:43

that cash and it's like a banker's dream

20:45

their business model is amazing in that

20:48

sense right now and because of this

20:51

tether doesn't actually have to take on

20:53

risk in case you don't know tether is a

20:54

stable coin crypto okay we're talking

20:56

about crypto or crypto now

20:58

tether though listen to this has resumed

21:01

lending stable coins to support certain

21:03

crypto investors who need collateral

21:06

they promised at the end of last year

21:09

that they were going to pause this kind

21:11

of lending but they've decided you know

21:13

what we are going to support borrowers

21:16

because we're going to be a good citizen

21:18

and rather than some people having to

21:22

liquidate their crypto during volatile

21:24

crypto times why don't we just give them

21:26

a loan we've got plenty of money anyway

21:28

and it'll support the whole crypto

21:30

Community hey maybe that's a good thing

21:32

for tether but nobody will ever know

21:35

all of the Financial Insights of tether

21:40

and what's really going on behind the

21:42

scenes but this isn't a video about

21:44

tetherfud it's just to remind you that

21:46

tether is once again lending again so

21:48

make of that what you may regarding the

21:52

UAW strike the strike is expected to get

21:54

worse

21:56

today at 12 p.m Eastern 10 a.m local

22:00

time the strike is expected to expand to

22:03

more facilities of Ford estevantes and

22:06

GM I can't believe I almost just said

22:08

gelantis but anyway car makers propose a

22:10

20 pay increase UAW is now down to 36

22:15

percent UAW wants that 32-hour work week

22:18

and a restoration of some of the

22:19

benefits that were essentially postponed

22:22

after the global financial crisis

22:23

2008-2009

22:25

uh there's this also talk about again

22:27

this four day work week though some of

22:29

that is being kind of like

22:31

deprioritized by the UAW UAW really

22:34

focused on getting this pay increase

22:35

apparently things are reasonably

22:38

productive with Ford things are getting

22:39

a little better with solantis the one

22:41

that really isn't going anywhere

22:43

apparently is GM's

22:45

and uh well yeah that one might be

22:48

getting a few extra strikes today so

22:50

we'll see what happens with the UAW

22:51

along and short of it obviously we want

22:55

a resolution to be found here it's not

22:57

great for Supply Chains It's not great

22:59

for GDP or recessionary concerns it's

23:02

not great for the workers who are doing

23:04

their best just to survive and feed

23:06

their families who haven't had pay

23:07

raises in years uh it's not great for

23:10

the workers who are like all right like

23:12

just give us this pay raise we can get

23:14

back to work it's not great for the

23:16

companies who are trying to struggle

23:18

transitioning to manufacturing EVS but

23:21

they don't know how to make money in EVS

23:22

because they're Legacy autos and they've

23:24

got way too much of a burden on a legacy

23:27

business that has run into profit

23:29

challenges thanks also to inflation to

23:31

really profitably manufacture electric

23:34

vehicles and they don't have the scale

23:35

to do it yet it's a completely disaster

23:37

but it is worth noting that today things

23:40

are expected too

23:42

get worse

23:43

but you could always count on me

23:46

reminding you that next Friday the 29th

23:50

of September we will have a massive

23:52

expiration on the first pre-sale round

23:55

for the new Bruce Pro courses remember

23:58

those are only 79 bucks right now there

24:00

are many different numbers Pro courses

24:01

they're on pre-sale they're going to

24:03

start trickling out soon but we're

24:05

ending the first pre-sale and so we'll

24:06

have a price increase on those new verse

24:08

Pro courses within the next week so

24:11

buckle up for that check it out by going

24:12

to meet kevin.com and learn more

24:14

regarding

24:16

now a migrant crisis what is happening

24:20

thousands of migrants continued to cross

24:22

the Rio Grande today from Mexico the

24:25

deployment of military personnel is only

24:27

for 90 days to help fill gaps more than

24:29

3 000 migrants Crossing yesterday in

24:31

Eagle Pass up from 2700 Tuesday and a

24:35

new influx starting to cross there early

24:37

this morning the mayor of Eagle Pass has

24:39

declared an emergency and last night the

24:42

city council there voted to allow DPS to

24:44

start making trespass arrest at a park

24:47

where migrants have been Gathering

24:48

rescinding a previous action that had

24:50

kicked DPS out of the park trying to

24:52

prevent and trying to use every tool

24:54

that we have within our power as a state

24:56

to try to prevent some of these unlawful

24:58

Crossings and also focus on criminal

24:59

activity that's taking place along the

25:01

border and also outside around other

25:04

surrounding areas and Border communities

25:06

an example of that criminal activity

25:08

take a look was posted today on social

25:10

media by Lieutenant Olivares the picture

25:12

is of 49 migrants who were found to stay

25:15

locked up in the back of a poorly

25:17

ventilated truck trailer near Laredo Now

25:20

new DPS truck inspections they're now

25:23

being done at Key border crossings and

25:25

that razor wire cut by border patrol

25:27

well that was replaced today at least

25:30

two drownings were reported this week in

25:31

the Rio Grande a three-year-old boy

25:33

yesterday and the body of a man was

25:35

pulled from the river this morning okay

25:37

so we've got a migrant crisis if you

25:40

haven't seen what's going on uh in in uh

25:42

Eagle Texas it's a disaster okay

25:44

basically you've got thousands of

25:46

migrants flooding through the Border uh

25:49

illegally okay why is this happening

25:51

well that's because the Biden

25:53

Administration granted a temporary

25:55

protected status to about an additional

25:58

472

25:59

000 Venezuelans already in the United

26:02

States this TPS program is basically

26:05

designed to say look you've got massive

26:07

problems in your country why don't we

26:11

give you a temporary authorization to

26:14

work in our country and at least you can

26:17

survive this specifically relates to

26:20

Venezuela and and even though the

26:22

deadline to get into the country was

26:24

July 31st people are still flooding

26:27

through why because guess what people

26:29

are just going to flood in and they're

26:31

gonna be like I've been here since July

26:34

30th

26:35

of course because then you can get a

26:37

work permit and you can escape the hell

26:39

that is going on down south what the

26:41

hell is going on down south is I see I

26:43

know what the sentiment is and I I don't

26:45

blame the sentiment the American

26:46

sentiment is our border is not a border

26:49

we don't have a country without a border

26:51

we should seal the border and we should

26:52

call Americans to protest because we are

26:55

facing an invasion and people I see it

26:57

they say go make your own country better

26:59

don't come over here and take our jobs

27:02

these are very real sentiments and

27:05

everybody's going to have their own

27:06

opinion on this others on the other side

27:08

are going to say you realize what's

27:10

happening in Venezuela inflation is not

27:13

five percent it is not eight percent it

27:15

is not ten percent it's not 50 it is not

27:17

a hundred percent prices aren't going up

27:19

by double every single year they are

27:21

going up by

27:23

400

27:25

their economy is collapsing there's food

27:27

instability there's emergency service

27:30

instability the Maduro government is is

27:32

completely failing their monetary system

27:35

is collapsing the international criminal

27:37

court wants to bring humanitarian cases

27:40

against Venezuelan for the massive

27:42

humanitarian emergency over there lack

27:44

of even basic access to water or

27:46

nutrition

27:47

on top of that you've got armed groups

27:49

that basically just go around portraying

27:51

and killing people it's hell now again

27:54

is that our problem to solve and should

27:57

we just have open borders is it

27:59

completely our problem to solve should

28:01

we go fail out Venezuela like we bail

28:04

out other things as the World Police and

28:06

should we therefore have a completely

28:07

open border no of course not nobody

28:10

would expect that

28:13

but this is a little bit of why you've

28:15

got a migrant crisis now going on again

28:18

at Eagle gate Texas there is uh this uh

28:22

it's not just Venezuela though there are

28:24

others covered by TPS as well El

28:26

Salvador has its TPS running through

28:28

March 9th of 2025 Haiti through August

28:31

3rd 2024 Honduras through July 5th 2025

28:36

Nepal June 24 2025 Nicaragua oh too

28:41

early Kevin July 5th 2025 Sudan April

28:44

19th 2025. so a lot of different

28:45

countries with with humanitarian crises

28:48

have these TPS again that you're

28:49

supposed to apply from abroad and

28:52

legally enter the country with a work

28:54

permit when you seek and receive Asylum

28:56

however this is leading people to

28:59

illegally try to get into the country

29:00

that say they were here earlier uh than

29:03

they actually were to additionally

29:05

qualify for some of these uh of these

29:07

temporary work permit authorizations uh

29:11

you know obviously there are

29:12

requirements as well that you are not a

29:15

criminal when you come over here and

29:16

background checks get done but the court

29:18

systems and everything are so bogged uh

29:20

and and uh overwhelmed that uh how how

29:23

do we actually reasonably expect all of

29:25

these uh background checks for being

29:27

conducted well we don't hence why it

29:30

feels like we have no border but I'll

29:33

tell you one thing at least the Press

29:35

Secretary of the United States is

29:37

willing to talk to Americans about it

29:49

he puts forth a wait no no no no no no

29:52

no no you can't I'm answering okay we're

29:55

gonna move no no no no no no no no no

29:56

we're moving on great

30:01

answer Peter I tried to answer the

30:04

question you stopped me let's go okay

30:06

what do you call it

30:08

here at the White House

30:10

didn't try to answer the questions

30:12

talking about GOP trying to shut the

30:15

government down

30:17

yikes yikes

30:22

um politics so delicious you want some

30:24

deliciousness and politics give yourself

30:27

life insurance in as little as five

30:29

minutes but going to metcaven.com life

30:32

metkevin.com life where you could now

30:35

get life insurance in as little as five

30:38

minutes

30:40

that's what happens when you get

30:41

involved in politics

30:44

um but yeah it was sponsored by Weeble

30:45

let's take a quick check of the uh

30:47

pre-market this video is brought to you

30:48

by Weeble uh yet another fantastic new

30:52

promotion from Weeble and uh I really do

30:55

like Weeble I use Weeble uh literally on

30:57

a daily basis uh to understand what's

31:00

going on quickly fantastic obviously it

31:03

is a paid promotion in case that that

31:05

wasn't already obvious but uh taking a

31:07

quick look at the pre-market we have uh

31:11

you've got let's see xpings up six

31:12

percent 16 bucks right now Neo's at

31:15

eight bucks man I remember that thing

31:17

was at twenty dollars in January of

31:19

2022. don't ask me why I remember that

31:21

perfectly canoes down at 45 cents

31:24

finally closed by short on that I had a

31:26

little tiny teeny little tiny short on

31:28

that one that worked out uh I usually

31:31

don't short that much otherwise it

31:33

doesn't seem like we got too terribly

31:34

much movement uh in the pre-market here

31:36

you've got uh stocks basically flat

31:39

NASDAQ up about 45 bips Tesla up about

31:41

74. jump on into those 10-year treasury

31:44

yields what are we looking at you're

31:45

looking at basically flat oil at the

31:47

same time possibly up again about one

31:50

percent as a Russia export ban is uh is

31:55

is fueling some more fears again about

31:58

uh yet again more uh more supply chain

32:01

constraints uh for uh for oil on top of

32:05

that I'd like to cover Daily Wealth

32:08

again people seem to really enjoy the

32:10

Daily Wealth email still you can sign up

32:12

for those linked down below uh regarding

32:14

the Daily Wealth email uh the the lesson

32:17

today is business

32:19

people think business is about money

32:21

people always think this they're like

32:23

Kevin Kevin Kevin Kevin Kevin Kevin

32:25

business about making dalahalas that's

32:27

it

32:28

wrong

32:30

business is people that's it if you can

32:33

solve people's problems and provide

32:35

value to people you will make more you

32:38

will succeed more you will grow more you

32:41

will become great and successful what

32:43

you do with that success is up to you

32:44

for some people it's uh you know we

32:48

don't have to go into what it is they're

32:50

not good things other people it

32:52

motivates more success and greatness

32:54

ultimately though you've got to start

32:56

with at least having the option of

32:57

success and when you remember that

32:58

business is about people you'd start

33:00

succeeding

33:02

and that does it for today's bottom line

33:04

report thank you so much for watching

33:05

we'll see you next week why not

33:06

advertise these things that you told us

33:08

here I feel like nobody else knows about

33:10

this we'll try a little advertising and

33:12

see how it goes congratulations man you

33:13

have done so much people love you people

33:15

looked up to you Kevin financial analyst

33:18

and YouTuber meet Kevin always great to
