As we talked about in our live stream

0:01

this morning, Pierre Polv released a

0:03

video demanding that we start cracking

0:05

down on bogus asylum refugee claimants

0:09

and deporting them as well as pull back

0:12

on the benefits we offer refugee

0:14

claimants in order to stop bleeding

0:16

money as a nation. And well, as expected

0:20

and predictably, we've watched that play

0:22

out throughout the day. And liberals and

0:24

the left have lost their ever loving

0:26

minds over it. They are now again

0:29

shouting from the rooftops that the

0:30

Conservative party has completely lost

0:32

their way. It's over. They're done. It's

0:35

completely finished. These guys are just

0:38

jumping the shark at this point. And

0:39

what it shows me is that the typical

0:42

liberal voter, even the likes of Andrew

0:46

Coin, just aren't aware and educated on

0:49

what is currently happening with our

0:51

systems and what is taking place. And

0:53

this episode today, well, it's going to

0:56

be an informative video just to really

0:58

break down what the conservatives are

1:00

addressing here and the issues that they

1:01

have and how they are not being

1:04

adequately addressed. And no, it doesn't

1:06

make them racist. Welcome to the Elevate

1:09

Report. I'm your host, Josh. If you're

1:10

getting any value from today's episode,

1:12

take the time to like, share, and

1:13

subscribe. It helps us to grow. It helps

1:15

us to get to new audiences. It helps

1:16

people see that there's something

1:17

different than what the mainstream media

1:20

has to offer. And now let's get into our

1:22

first story, shall we? Before we get

1:24

into the the brunt of it, we had a need

1:26

to non have a press conference this

1:27

morning to describe kind of what can uh

1:30

be expected of Canadians that are

1:31

currently locked up in Mexico as all the

1:35

shenanigans takes place with the cartels

1:37

there. And essentially her messaging

1:39

hasn't changed. It's simply been, "Hey,

1:42

continue shelter in place. Wait for

1:43

Mexican authorities. We'll see what ends

1:46

up happening." That's essentially what

1:47

she reiterated. will play the first

1:49

minute of what she had to say there.

1:50

>> I am in contact with my Mexican

1:53

counterpart who expects the situation to

1:56

normalize in the coming days. Our

1:59

ambassador and consular staff are

2:01

working with their counterparts to

2:04

ensure that Canadians remain safe. Last

2:08

evening we updated our travel advisory

2:12

to first expand the list of affected

2:15

areas to alert that volatility may

2:19

continue to spread and three align

2:22

travel advisories with that of our

2:26

peers. Local authorities have in some

2:29

cases issued a shelter in place order

2:33

and the situation remains fluid. So

2:36

since that's what she ends up getting at

2:37

is stick to what she posted yesterday in

2:41

terms of the phone numbers that were

2:42

made available the emails reach out

2:44

register at the website and that's what

2:48

was she she offered uh at this present

2:50

time and if any doubt contact your local

2:53

MP so they can get in direct contact the

2:54

need office. So as I said nothing's

2:58

really changed from our conversation

2:59

this morning. Everything else remains uh

3:02

the same. missed a lot of just waiting

3:03

and seeing shelter in place

3:05

unfortunately. But we move into our

3:07

first story of the day or the story of

3:08

the hour is Pierre Pi ever released this

3:11

right. Breaking conservatives will

3:13

introduce a motion tomorrow to cut back

3:14

deluxe benefits for fake refugees and

3:17

deport non-citizens and foreign

3:18

nationals who do crime. Time to take

3:20

care of our healthcare, our taxpayers,

3:21

our safety and our country. And this is

3:24

the 2 and 1/2 minute video that he

3:26

dropped.

3:27

>> 6 million Canadians can't get access to

3:30

a family doctor. Fact, it takes 30 weeks

3:32

for the average Canadian to see a

3:34

specialist. Fact: While you can't get

3:36

health care, Liberals force you to pay

3:38

higher taxes to fund deluxe

3:41

supplementary health care benefits for

3:44

asylum claimants who've been rejected,

3:46

who are non-Canadians, non-permanent

3:48

residents, and have never paid taxes in

3:50

this country. Fact. The reality is that

3:54

these services include many things that

3:56

are not covered by your public plan.

3:58

things like physiootherapy.

4:01

Fact, the cost of providing these se

4:03

these deluxe supplementary benefits to

4:06

asylum claims claimments has gone up by

4:09

a,000% under the Liberals to over a

4:12

billion dollars. Money diverted away

4:14

from our health care, jamming up our

4:16

system and increasing our weightlines.

4:19

The Liberals destroyed our immigration

4:20

system with numbers that overwhelmed our

4:22

jobs, our health care, and our housing.

4:26

Not only that, they've made it so that

4:29

when someone is here making an asylum

4:30

claim and they commit a crime, they

4:33

could indeed have lower sentences than

4:36

if a Canadian had committed the very

4:39

same crime. This is unfair and it's time

4:42

that it changed. That's why tomorrow,

4:44

Conservatives are moving a motion to

4:46

change it. The motion would force a

4:49

review and a cut back in benefits to

4:51

asylum claimants to ensure that

4:53

non-citizens and non-permanent residents

4:56

do not get superior health benefits than

4:59

Canadians. Second, it would ensure that

5:02

those asylum claimants who are here and

5:04

have been rejected only get lifesaving

5:08

emergency care and not special care.

5:10

>> That is the focus and that is the

5:12

message that he wanted to push for. That

5:13

that is what they're going to be

5:14

introducing into the House tomorrow. And

5:17

what was very fascinating was more so

5:19

seeing the coverage and the reaction of

5:22

those on the left. I'll show you what I

5:24

mean. Is a fun little thing I've been

5:26

doing lately is I've been kind of when

5:28

it comes to like significant

5:30

conservative

5:31

voices and whenever they post things, I

5:33

like going to their view their quotes

5:35

and seeing people who quote their posts

5:36

and seeing what their perspective is on

5:38

it. And it was very loud. It was very

5:41

loud. We had the likes of Andrew Coin

5:43

who said, "This is just sad and

5:45

desperate. go out with some dignity.

5:46

What about with what he said, Andrew,

5:48

was wrong? What was wrong with what he

5:51

said, Andrew? He even followed up

5:53

saying, "Note the language, deluxe

5:55

benefits, blaming asylum seekers for the

5:57

problems of the healthcare system,

5:58

demanding deportations, raising the

5:59

temperature, dividing us from us versus

6:01

them, appealing to resentments. It isn't

6:03

that there isn't aren't legitimate

6:05

issues with immigration refugee policy,

6:07

but you can tell what a politician is up

6:09

to by the emphasis they place on

6:10

something, by what they choose to place

6:12

in the shop window, and by the language

6:13

they tone to use." Oh, here we go.

6:15

Language tone policing. To judge by this

6:18

video, you'd think there was no more

6:19

important issue before the country.

6:20

Suppose it were, yada yada yada yada

6:22

yada yada. He says Polyv is inflaming it

6:25

with this video. He's just making it

6:28

clear how our system currently operates

6:30

and how it should stop operating the way

6:32

it is.

6:33

refugee claimants, specifically refugee

6:36

claimments who get rejected

6:39

still get better health care than

6:42

Canadians who are trying to access that

6:44

system. That's actually how it currently

6:46

operates. And he's saying, "How about we

6:48

make the health care equal and we take

6:51

care of deporting people who are have

6:53

bogus asylum claims?" Nothing crazy.

6:55

Because those people who have the bogus

6:56

asylum claims have been committing

6:59

atrocities and a lot of violence across

7:00

our country these days, including the

7:02

big extortion crisis you were crying

7:03

about the other day, Andrew Coin. But we

7:05

move on. Dwayne Brat says, "Poly decides

7:07

to go beyond Smith and her

7:08

anti-immigration push. I also do not see

7:11

how his emphasis on deportations

7:12

distances himself from Trump.

7:14

Immigration is a challenge and changes

7:16

need to be made, but this is hostile

7:18

rhetoric." You realize what's happening

7:20

here, right? because you utter the utter

7:23

the word immigration, all of a sudden

7:25

you are Trumplike and a racist. That's

7:28

the theme you're going to start picking

7:29

up on as you read more of these posts.

7:31

Fun Tom says, "Your pathetic desperation

7:34

strongly suggests that you now know what

7:36

the rest of Canada has known since you

7:38

lost your writing the last election. You

7:39

are finished, sir. You're grasping for

7:41

the Trump playbook to try to use

7:42

anti-immigrant sentiment as a way to

7:44

gain some traction will not work. This

7:46

is not America. This is Canada. We are

7:48

sophisticated population who don't

7:50

appreciate the use of hate as a

7:51

strategy. Oh, Pierre, you look exhausted

7:54

and unmotivated in this video. Out of

7:55

breath and tripping over the fake words

7:57

as they fall from your lips, a poor

7:59

leader to the very end. You're catching

8:00

on to the drift. Of course, Rachel

8:02

Gilmore had this to say. Gross. Also,

8:04

when dudes from the Dominion Society are

8:06

going off on live streams claiming to

8:08

have guys on the inside of the

8:09

Conservatives, this doesn't help dispel

8:10

those allegations. Personally, I'd make

8:12

dispelling those claims a priority

8:14

rather than doing this. And then of

8:17

course, Gator Gum drops this. Pierre is

8:19

trying to play the far right by pushing

8:21

out anti-immigration stuff, but needs to

8:22

appeal to his more moderate traditional

8:24

base, leaving him to post crap like

8:26

this. Get rid of cut deluxe benefits

8:29

from fake refugees. And there was one

8:31

more that was really fun. I thought was

8:33

hilarious where it said this. Michael

8:35

says, "Fake refugees." What the f is he

8:39

talking about? Some of these people

8:41

don't even know what he's referring to

8:44

with this post. I'll say this with Paul.

8:46

we did here. I appreciate what they're

8:48

pushing forward. I think it's needs to

8:49

be talked about, but I'm starting to

8:51

realize the the gap of knowledge between

8:55

people who follow politics and don't and

8:57

then those who do follow politics are

8:59

intentionally being obtuse is getting

9:02

wider and wider by the day. And I'm

9:03

like, whoa, okay, how do you bridge that

9:08

gap? That's my question. So, here's the

9:10

thing. That's the left's criticism of

9:11

this whole situation. Let's look at some

9:13

stats, shall we? When we look at the

9:15

interim federal health programs page on

9:17

the government website, it shows what

9:20

they provide asylum claimants. Okay, in

9:22

terms of healthcare, they get basic

9:24

coverage, which is hospital services,

9:25

services from penal doctors, registered

9:27

nurses, and other licensed healthcare

9:29

professionals, ambulance services, lab

9:31

and diagnostic services. And so that's

9:33

the basic stuff, right? Then you have

9:35

the supplemental coverage which is more

9:37

so getting stuff like assisted devices

9:38

like prosthetics, mobility aids and

9:40

hearing aids, home care and long-term

9:42

care, occupational therapists, psycho uh

9:45

physiootherapists, speech language

9:46

therapists, this that the other. Then

9:48

you get into prescription drug coverage

9:49

that is also covered as well. So when it

9:51

comes to a Canadian trying to access the

9:53

provincial health care system,

9:56

they only get the basic coverage. They

9:59

don't get the supplemental coverage and

10:00

they don't get prescription drug

10:02

coverage. That's typically when you need

10:03

private health insurance to kind of

10:04

cover those things unless you're part of

10:06

like the senior demographic or something

10:07

along those lines and then you get some

10:08

of this, but you don't get all of it.

10:10

And so that's what we're referring to

10:12

here is asylum claimants are getting

10:14

more health care coverage than Canadians

10:17

who've been paying into the system for

10:18

forever and a day. So simply what

10:20

they're asking is how about let's strip

10:22

out the supplemental coverage. Let's

10:23

strip out the prescription drug coverage

10:25

and let's just give them basic coverage

10:28

like every other Canadian. And on top of

10:30

that, let's also let's remove and deport

10:36

bogus asylum claimants. Pretty simple.

10:39

Pretty simple. Oh Josh, you're racist

10:40

for saying that though. Oh, am I racist?

10:42

Okay, let's talk about it for two

10:44

seconds then. Because right now since

10:46

2020, this is from the parliamentary

10:48

budget office where they said the

10:50

interim federal health program provides

10:52

limited and temporary healthcare

10:53

coverage to some groups of foreign

10:55

nationals who are vulnerable and

10:56

disadvantaged and aren't eligible for

10:57

health insurance from provinces or

10:59

territories. Between 2020 and 2025, the

11:02

cost of the program grew from over $200

11:05

million to $896 million. Quadrupled.

11:10

Quadrupled.

11:12

We can't afford. That's not sustainable.

11:14

can't afford that and it's set to grow

11:18

to over $1.5 billion by 2030. So what's

11:22

happening is you're having all these

11:24

asylum claims come in and this isn't

11:27

approved asylum claimments either. Okay?

11:30

People get their cases rejected, end up

11:32

staying here and there's no follow-up on

11:34

having them deported because they

11:35

continue bringing their case after case

11:36

and keep trying to appeal appeal appeal

11:38

or process for years on end and they

11:40

keep accessing the program. Lena Dapp

11:43

was in committee admitting as such as

11:44

they don't follow up on if people have

11:47

left and people who do stay even after

11:49

they've been rejected are able still

11:51

accessing the program. That's why you're

11:53

seeing things balloon the way they are.

11:55

This isn't a racial issue. Even the

11:58

government itself has rejected close to

12:00

50% of asylum claimants based on their

12:03

own data. 2024 54% uh visitor visa

12:08

refusal rate in 2024 up significantly

12:10

from 38% in 2023. And again, Josh,

12:12

you're not the these are visitor visas.

12:14

These are not asylum claims. Yes.

12:17

However, what we've seen and what the

12:20

government has acknowledged is that

12:21

people actually use the visitor visa

12:23

stream first as a prerequisite to then

12:25

apply for asylum in our country. So

12:28

seeing that and then seeing that there's

12:29

been a 251% increase in visitor visa

12:32

refusals for fraud is alarming. So you

12:36

get people who are in the system and

12:37

they get their cases denied. They are

12:40

still able to access the system

12:42

afterwards because there's no fault but

12:44

having them leave. And that's all Pure

12:46

Pol is bringing to the table with this

12:48

issue because well what's the problem

12:51

again? It's a costly program that's

12:54

quadrupled since 2020 and increasing

12:58

more by the year. So, we need to figure

13:00

out how to bring those costs down and

13:03

stop bleeding so much money as a

13:05

country. Even the Liberal government

13:06

recognizes this is an issue. They they

13:09

announced this on January 27th this

13:11

year. As of May 1, 2026, IFHP

13:14

beneficiaries will be responsible for

13:16

the following co-ayments. $4 for each

13:18

eligible prescription medication filled

13:20

or refilled under the IFHP and 30% of

13:23

the cost of all other eligible

13:24

supplemental health products and

13:26

services, including dental care, vision

13:28

care, counseling, and assist of

13:29

services. Beneficiaries covered by the

13:31

AFHP will be asked to pay these amounts

13:34

directly to their healthcare providers

13:35

when they receive IFHP eligible

13:37

supplemental products or services. Basic

13:39

health care benefits, including doctor

13:41

visits and hospital care, will remain

13:43

fully covered under IFHP with no

13:45

co-ayments required.

13:47

Even the Liberal government in their

13:49

cowardly way acknowledge that this is an

13:52

issue. And the Conservatives are just

13:54

simply saying, "Let's take it a step

13:56

further. How about scrap the co-ay

13:59

model?" They're responsible for paying

14:02

into the system for any supplemental

14:04

coverage, meaning they'll get the basic

14:06

coverage completely free, but anything

14:09

additional and supplemental, they will

14:12

have to cover on their own. and also

14:14

what's with fall on those applications

14:16

who get rejected and make sure they

14:17

leave the country. That's the

14:19

conservative stance on this. So you can

14:21

call it racist this that the other all

14:23

you want, but even your own liberal

14:25

government has acknowledged in their own

14:27

weird way that this is an issue and that

14:30

it's a drain on our current system and

14:32

it's not sustainable for us. So we have

14:34

to figure out a solution. And what the

14:37

conservatives are are proposing is a

14:39

solution that most people agree with.

14:42

The only ones who disagree with it are

14:44

the ones who like to virtue signal and

14:46

try to make it look like they care

14:48

amongst all their f all their obnoxious

14:51

friends. That's the reality. So, this

14:53

will go into the House of Commons

14:55

tomorrow and we'll see what the debate

14:56

looks like. However, I will be going uh

14:59

live tomorrow morning which I'm looking

15:00

forward to yet again and we'll be

15:02

talking about a story that was breaking

15:03

on social media today and that's the

15:05

idea of three different conservative MPs

15:08

going down to Punjab, India ahead of

15:10

Mark Carney's visit to India to engage

15:13

in trade talks and let's just say it's

15:16

not a great look and we'll be discussing

15:18

that tomorrow morning on the show. But

15:20

anyways, enjoy your day. Have yourselves

15:21

a good one. Ano?
