0:10

So let's let's let's start with our

0:12

scripture reading for this afternoon

0:15

session. Matthew 24.

0:19

Um we're going to read one and two and

0:21

then we'll get into the story of it. The

0:23

Bible says, "And Jesus went out and

0:24

departed from the temple.

0:28

And his disciples came to him for to

0:30

show him the buildings of the temple.

0:32

And Jesus said unto them, see ye not all

0:34

these things. Verily I say unto you,

0:37

there shall not be left here one stone

0:39

upon another that shall not be thrown

0:42

down." Let's pray. Father God, we thank

0:44

you for this opportunity to study your

0:47

word. We thank you for um your

0:50

wonderful, beautiful Sabbath day today.

0:51

Lord, we ask now, Lord, that you just

0:53

lead us into truth by the power of your

0:55

Holy Ghost. It's our prayer in Jesus

0:57

name. Amen.

0:58

>> Amen.

1:00

>> All right. So, the talk, we'll come back

1:03

to those verses in a second, is

1:04

ready-minded. And we, how do we have

1:06

make sure we have the kind of mind that

1:08

is ready for what's about to happen in

1:10

the world? So, we read already that the

1:13

disciples were shocked. Jesus in Matthew

1:15

chapter 23, Jesus had um gone into the

1:18

temple. Remember, he thrown out the

1:20

money changers and um he said to them,

1:24

you leave your house unto you desolate.

1:26

This blew the disciples minds because

1:28

the disciples were thinking, wait a

1:29

minute, he's going to be the king of

1:31

Israel. How can he say that the temple

1:32

is desolate? So, they started to panic

1:35

and then they follow Jesus. They, you

1:37

know, they're following Jesus and they

1:38

ask him, you know, how is this going to

1:40

happen? as we'll see in a second. But

1:41

just to give you an idea, that's what

1:42

the temple looked like in Jesus' day.

1:45

Prophetically, one of the things

1:46

happening right now that is very

1:47

relevant is that there is a move to try

1:50

and build a third temple in Israel.

1:53

We'll come back to that. But this is

1:55

based on a false interpretation of

1:58

biblical prophecy. And here's the

2:01

interesting thing is it helps drive a

2:04

good chunk of American foreign policy.

2:07

So, it's an interesting tidbit that is

2:10

based on the false doctrine that some

2:12

believe there's going to be a secret

2:13

rapture one day. Not biblical, but they

2:16

believe in order for that to happen, the

2:17

antichrist has to exist in the rebuilt

2:21

third temple. It's the weirdest

2:23

doctrine. So, the antichrist has to be

2:24

in the temple. Dr. Tony Evans from right

2:27

here in Dallas, I think he just stepped

2:29

away from ministry from what I was

2:30

reading. Um, no, he wasn't restored.

2:34

He's restored, but he's not running the

2:36

church is what I just read. So, um

2:39

really nothing to do with what I'm

2:40

saying. He I don't want to be I don't

2:42

want to be chos here. Um so, but he what

2:46

he said is what he said years ago is

2:48

that out of that third temple, which

2:50

will not I don't believe is biblically

2:52

prophetically accurate. Jesus will one

2:54

day reign for a thousand years and force

2:57

the world to keep his commandments. Tony

2:59

Evans, I heard him preach that years

3:01

ago.

3:03

But let me say this. Do we need a third

3:06

temple?

3:07

>> Because where is Christ now?

3:09

>> Heavenly temple.

3:10

>> In the heavenly temple. And he is there

3:12

now interceding on our behalf. If you

3:15

read the book of Hebrews, it is very

3:17

plain. Any work. What would an earthly

3:20

temple do? Would you take a bull and

3:21

kill it and put it on all? What good

3:23

would it do when Christ has brought as

3:25

Hebrews says his own blood into the most

3:27

holy place? Amen.

3:29

>> So

3:29

>> what good is the blood of calves or

3:31

lambs going to do you when the blood of

3:32

Christ is in the heavenly sanctuary?

3:36

>> Anyway, that's that's that's one of the

3:37

things that do. So if you did if you go

3:39

to Israel, I've been Israel. This is all

3:41

that's really left. And it's not even

3:43

this is not from the original. This is

3:45

not from Herod's temple or Solomon's

3:46

temple. This is what the Ottomans

3:48

actually built. The Turks when they

3:50

ruled they built this. So this is not

3:53

actually just like Jesus said every you

3:55

know he he prophesied here every stone

3:57

would be torn down every stor stone was

3:59

torn down and was never rebuilt

4:03

>> and Satan wants so bad to build this

4:05

thing back up but we'll see what happens

4:07

sometimes I think well maybe he builds

4:09

it up right before the close of

4:10

probation but we'll see Matthew 24:3 and

4:13

as he sat upon the mount of olives the

4:14

disciples came unto him privately saying

4:17

tell us when shall these things be and

4:19

what shall be the sign of your coming

4:21

and of the end of the world. So the

4:22

disciples ask the questions your

4:24

neighbors are going to ask.

4:28

We've had people our our our real that

4:30

we sold I think we just sold our house

4:31

in Connecticut. He was a once an

4:33

orthodox Jew, really good guy. Um now

4:36

he's an atheist. Really doesn't want

4:38

anything to do with God. Two years ago

4:40

when October 7th happened, he called me

4:43

and said, "You got to tell me what this

4:46

means." Now he knows the only

4:48

perspective I'm going to give him is a

4:50

biblical one. Yet when when the when the

4:52

when you know when the chaos of the

4:54

world was high enough he said listen you

4:57

know let me turn to someone who might be

4:58

able to give me an answer from the

4:59

scripture. So we have to be able to

5:01

answer this question. So the disciples

5:03

asked when will the end of the world be.

5:04

Here's Jesus's response and this is

5:06

where this connects back to the frontal

5:08

lobe.

5:10

Verse four. And Jesus answered and said

5:12

unto them take heed that no man

5:15

>> deceive you. I said it this morning. We

5:17

are living in an age of deception. The

5:21

word for deceive there, that's the

5:22

Hebrew word. It's pronounced plano. It

5:26

means to be led away into error. Jesus,

5:29

before he gives one prophecy about the

5:32

end of the world or what's going to

5:34

happen to Israel or the temple, the

5:36

first thing out of Jesus' mouth is

5:38

listen, don't be fooled.

5:41

And so many are being fooled now. In one

5:45

of my recent service, I told a story

5:46

how, you know, they have these AI things

5:48

now. So, you don't even know when you

5:49

watching like you get like something on

5:51

social media and it you don't know if

5:52

it's real or not anymore. I mean, I saw

5:54

this thing and this big bird of prey

5:56

came down and grabbed the baby cub lion

5:58

and the big bird of prey was taking off

6:00

at the lion baby cub and the lion

6:02

lioness start running and she jumped way

6:04

up in the sky and grabbed the bird. I'm

6:06

cheering for the lioness. Get him. Get

6:08

him. Then at the end you find out it's

6:12

fake.

6:13

There's no lion, no lioness, no cub, no

6:16

bird, nothing. It's just some dude

6:18

sitting in a room somewhere telling chat

6:21

GPT or somebody what to do. The the

6:24

ability to deceive us

6:27

>> today is astronomically greater than

6:31

anything the disciples could have even

6:33

imagined. So we have got to have sharp

6:36

minds to make it through these last

6:38

days.

6:41

So verse four, and Jesus answered and

6:44

said unto them, take heed that no man

6:45

deceive you. Why? Because many will come

6:47

in my name, saying, I am Christ and do

6:49

what?

6:51

>> Said and deceive many. So there is going

6:52

to be a not just plain oldfashioned

6:55

deception, false Christs, false

6:58

messiahs, people leading people in a

7:01

certain direction. So, I I I I when I do

7:03

this full thing, I I have a lot of

7:05

these, but I'll give you just a few. The

7:06

guy on the left there is um Yahweh Ben

7:09

Yahweh. He's a black American from

7:11

Miami. If you go back to the '9s, he was

7:13

worshiped as God.

7:16

Literally worshiped him as God. They

7:17

even had a whole dance they did today

7:19

hip-hop music to this guy. You see the

7:21

guy in the middle there? He's Puerto

7:22

Rican. Um that's I forget his full name.

7:26

>> Jose.

7:28

>> Yeah. Here you see it here. Jose Jesus

7:31

Miranda that's his that's his name and

7:32

look how he was worshiped as God he had

7:35

people saying he was Jesus then he

7:37

switched to 666 and Lady Tat I said boy

7:40

that's crazy of course here in Texas

7:42

Waco Texas is famous for um David Cares

7:45

and the Devidians but Sunyong Moon was

7:49

also worshiped all of these were false

7:51

Christ some of you may even remember and

7:53

I sometimes have slides on this um the

7:55

guy from San Francisco um D um Jim

7:58

Jones.

8:00

I mean, Jim Jones led all those people

8:02

all the way to Guyana and them all and

8:05

and had all those people put to death.

8:07

>> It was prophesied that this would

8:09

happen, but it's not just there. Um, one

8:12

of the interesting points is this one.

8:13

This is um and again, when I do a full

8:15

music talk, I get into this a lot

8:17

deeper, but this is a guy named Kendrick

8:18

Lamar. I'm gonna come back to him.

8:20

Notice what is he wearing on his head?

8:23

A crown of thorns. Isn't that

8:25

interesting? He's the guy who did the

8:27

Super Bowl last year. Now, I don't know

8:29

about you, and I grew up listening to

8:30

rap music. I couldn't understand one

8:32

word he said. I didn't know what he was

8:34

saying. I said, "He just talking,

8:35

rapping, and it don't it's just blending

8:37

like bad macaroni and cheese. I don't

8:39

know what he's saying, right?" But I and

8:43

some of these I have the slides of Kanye

8:44

West and Nas, all these rappers

8:47

pretending to be Jesus. What a lot of

8:48

people don't know about hip-hop, rap

8:50

music, and unless you come from the

8:52

Northeast, specifically from New York,

8:54

you you may not know that actually rap

8:56

music, hip-hop music is born out of a

8:59

religion in large part. The name of that

9:02

religion is the 5% Nation of Islam. So

9:06

if you don't know that that's old school

9:08

rappers like Big Daddy Kain, the poor

9:10

righteous teachers, famous rappers like

9:12

the Wuang Clan that were big, you know,

9:14

I don't know who's big now, but I know

9:16

Jay-Z is still a 5enter. I would have to

9:18

believe he was a 5enter back then. The

9:20

5% nation teaches that the black man is

9:23

God and the white man is the devil. Did

9:26

you know that? So when, and here's

9:28

what's funny. When rap music started

9:30

selling, GUESS WHO BOUGHT ALL THE

9:32

ALBUMS? It was the white kids in the

9:34

suburbs. There would be there would be

9:36

no hip-hop today if the records didn't

9:38

sell in the suburbs. Anybody know

9:39

anything about hip-hop knows that that's

9:41

how hip-hop actually raise money. It is

9:45

based on a false and demonic doctrine.

9:49

That's why the rappers are so vain,

9:51

profane. They skirt all rules and laws

9:55

because many of them, not all of them,

9:57

but many of them believe that they are

10:00

inherently divine. That's why Jay-Z has

10:02

a song where he says, "I am Jehovah,

10:06

God, MC."

10:09

So all of that is prophesied by Jesus.

10:12

But Jesus goes on to talk about the end

10:14

time. Jesus says in verse 6, "And you

10:16

shall hear of wars and rumors of wars.

10:18

See that you be not troubled, for all

10:19

these things must come to pass, but

10:21

what?

10:22

>> The end is not yet." One of the good

10:24

things Jesus does for us in Matthew 24

10:26

is he lets us know war is not the way

10:29

the world is going to end.

10:31

>> Somebody ought to say amen.

10:33

>> So when these wars come up and people

10:35

panic, I remember when the Ukraine war

10:37

started, people started to panic. I was

10:39

able to say from the scripture, listen,

10:41

this is not going to start a a nuclear

10:44

third world war that ends the earth

10:46

because my Jesus told me war is going to

10:49

come but the end is not yet.

10:52

So you can see war in the world today.

10:54

Now now the current administration

10:55

Donald Trump is I mean I if if if

10:58

everything they say on both sides is

11:00

true he stopped a lot of wars. In fact

11:03

this week we just saw um and hopefully

11:05

it holds a ceasefire um in the Middle

11:09

East. So you can see on the left there

11:12

were people in the streets chanting

11:14

Donald Trump's name begging that he gets

11:16

the um the the Nobel Prize. And on the

11:18

on the other even in Gaza, they were

11:21

chanting his name and saying he should

11:22

get the the Nobel Prize. You can see the

11:24

people returning to um on the right you

11:27

can see the people returning to Gaza

11:29

from the to the north of Gaza, from the

11:30

south of Gaza. This is serious. It's

11:33

big. It speaks to what we talked about

11:34

before, this false idea of the prophetic

11:37

relevance of Israel.

11:40

And you'll see that that is one of the

11:41

things that's going to keep happening.

11:42

And unless your frontal lobe is sharp,

11:44

you won't get it. This is after Israel

11:46

got bombed by Iran. I just left that

11:48

picture in there. But of course, in

11:49

America, you forget about the Middle

11:51

East. Right here, we have a war.

11:54

>> These are these are mass shootings in

11:56

the United States. This is up till 2020.

11:58

There was a mass shooting after midnight

12:01

last night in I think it's Mississippi.

12:05

Four dead. I don't know how many

12:07

survived it. But you see this keep

12:09

happening, happening, happening,

12:10

happening. Um in other parts of the

12:12

world, people stabbed. It's you mass

12:14

stabbings. They've had those in places

12:17

like China and in Europe. At the end of

12:19

the day, something has shifted in the

12:21

world or the world is very violent. And

12:22

if you remember in Matthew 24, Jesus

12:25

says, "As it was in the days of Noah,

12:27

the hallmark of the days of Noah is that

12:29

the flood came because of their

12:32

violence."

12:33

So when you see these increases in mass

12:36

shootings, like we've seen these high

12:37

rates of these things, you know that

12:39

Jesus going to come. Now, let me throw

12:40

this in in case I forget to say it

12:41

later. One of the things that we I was

12:43

with Neil Nedley. Many of you have heard

12:45

of Neil Nedley up at Weimar, brilliant

12:47

physician, and we were talking offline a

12:49

little bit about these mass shootings.

12:51

And he said something profound. He said

12:53

he thinks that you can connect uh the

12:55

high use of marijuana with these mass

12:58

shootings.

13:00

Now, marijuana, so alcohol can make you

13:02

suicidal. It can make you homicidal. Um

13:05

you know, most drugs will make you kind

13:07

of more likely to hurt somebody else.

13:10

But marijuana can make you nihilistic

13:13

where you just want to kill everyone.

13:15

And obviously that's not the majority of

13:16

people who smoke marijuana. It's

13:18

probably a very small number. But

13:19

there's this connection that the media

13:21

is not talking about. We'll see if it

13:23

ever comes out in the media. So then

13:24

Jesus switches from the wars and he

13:26

says, "For nation shall rise against

13:27

nation and kingdom against kingdom and

13:30

pestilence uh there shall be famines and

13:32

pestilences and earthquakes in diverse

13:35

places." Then Jesus says in verse 8, to

13:37

me one of the most startling verses in

13:39

all of the Bible, after all the stuff he

13:43

described, that's some bad stuff.

13:44

Earthquakes, pestilence, terrible

13:46

famines. He says it's just the beginning

13:48

of sorrows.

13:51

Why do you need a frontal lobe that's

13:53

clear? Why do you need to be anchored in

13:55

Christ? Because what is coming, Daniel

13:57

tells us, is a time of trouble like has

14:00

never been.

14:02

>> Something is about to happen. And unless

14:04

you're watching what's going on, you're

14:06

going to be lost. The first one here,

14:08

verse seven, the verse seven starts with

14:10

for nation shall rise against nation.

14:11

Well, nation rising against nation goes

14:14

back to the Greek word for e uh um

14:16

ethnos. The Greek word ethnos, which

14:19

translates in English or we take it as

14:21

the word ethnicity. Jesus predicts that

14:24

as you get closer to the end of time,

14:26

you're going to have more division along

14:29

tribal lines, ethnic lines, language

14:32

lines, racial lines. people are going to

14:34

fracture. Here's one of the reasons I

14:36

believe one of the signs of the remnant

14:38

church is found in this statement. By

14:41

this men will know that you are my

14:42

disciples because you have what? Love

14:45

one for another. One of the key signs of

14:48

the church in the last days is going to

14:50

be what we saw here today. People that

14:52

look from all over the world who don't

14:54

necessarily look alike, but they believe

14:56

alike.

14:57

>> Amen.

14:59

>> They have one Christ. Nothing else

15:01

matters. you will not make it. And so

15:03

this what what the devil has done a

15:05

great job of is literally making putting

15:07

culture over Christ,

15:10

>> patriotism over purity. The devil has

15:13

done a amazing job with and people are

15:16

fractioning up and they don't realize

15:17

you there will be no my family's

15:19

Jamaican so I use JAMA THERE'LL BE NO

15:21

JAMAICAN SECTION IN HEAVEN.

15:25

>> I believe they'll have a trees. I do

15:27

believe that and bread fruit but I don't

15:28

believe there's going to be a Jamaican

15:30

section. You get my point? When we GET

15:33

TO GLORY, NOBODY'S GOING TO CARE WHERE

15:35

YOU CAME FROM on earth.

15:38

>> Now, they say Spanish is the language of

15:39

heaven. We'll wait and see.

15:43

But if it is, at least I'll be fluent

15:44

then.

15:46

I'll be speaking in speaking in an

15:48

unknown tongue. All right. So, what else

15:52

did Jesus say? Well, he said that there

15:53

would be famine. World hunger continues

15:55

to rem. Why is this fulfilled prophecy?

15:57

Because we have the ability for no one

15:59

in the world to be hungry. We could

16:01

easily feed the whole world right now

16:03

without even costing anyone anything.

16:06

>> It's a fulfillment of prophecy.

16:08

Pestilence. COVID was a pestilence.

16:11

There are lots of pestilence when I do

16:12

talks on on on intimacy, love, and

16:14

relationships. Sexually transmitted

16:16

diseases have skyrocketed.

16:19

We almost got rid of syphilis in the

16:22

2000s. Today we have congenital syphilis

16:25

back again. Babies are being born with

16:27

syphilis again. Like this was the 50s or

16:29

60s. It I mean everything has gone the

16:32

opposite direction. I warn young people.

16:34

I say you be careful what you do. They

16:36

got diseases now that we still have not

16:39

fully figured out. Did you know that we

16:41

have emerging sexually transmitted

16:43

diseases? I tell I joke all the time in

16:45

my service about this doctor. I was

16:46

working in Bakersfield, California going

16:48

to Vegas for the weekend and the man is

16:50

like, "Oh, save me some rosphan for when

16:52

I get back." And one of the nurses like,

16:54

"Oh, you're nasty." He said, "Oh, don't

16:57

mind. What happens in Vegas stays in

16:58

Vegas." I said, "Not herpes, brother.

17:00

That stuff that comes back with you.

17:04

Pestilences,

17:06

earthquakes in diverse places." And

17:08

somebody said, "Well, you know, they've

17:09

always had lots of earthquakes and you

17:10

can, but there's something about deadly

17:13

and destructive earthquakes that is

17:15

different." And this is from the US

17:17

Geological Survey. It shows that. So

17:20

people are, you know, these earthquakes

17:22

are more are frequent. They're all over

17:23

the place just as Jesus says. Then he

17:27

says, "These are the beginning of

17:30

sorrow." I just watched a video of an

17:31

earthquake in Philippines just recently.

17:34

Frightening mercy,

17:36

>> man. I mean, you know, I I was I

17:38

remember being in California when I

17:39

first moved out there. Was working at

17:41

Lom Melinda Hospital. I was up on the

17:42

top floor doing oncology and there's an

17:44

earthquake and the whole building

17:47

>> just they put it on some kind of I don't

17:48

know they put on a swing a rocker. We're

17:51

just I'm I'm in the room like this the

17:52

clock on the they had like a pendulum

17:54

plus swinging. I said man I need to get

17:56

back to the east coast. This is crazy.

17:59

We going to fall off into the ocean out

18:01

here.

18:03

All right. Here's what Ellen White says

18:05

on this. Signs of his soon coming. Luke

18:08

uh 212526.

18:10

Uh uh now this is from Luke 1. And there

18:12

shall be signs in the sun and in the

18:14

moon and in the stars and upon the earth

18:16

distress of nations with perplexity, the

18:18

seas and the wave the sea and the waves

18:20

roaring men's hearts failing them for

18:22

fear and for looking after those things

18:23

which are coming on the earth. For the

18:25

powers of heaven shall be shaken. These

18:28

prophecies have been fulfilled.

18:29

>> The stars fell remember in in the 1800s

18:33

and the 1700s the the the uh late 1700s.

18:36

We and if you go to Heritage and Hope,

18:38

they actually have the newspapers where

18:40

the people talked about the day when the

18:42

sun darkened and the moon turned to

18:43

blood and all this. These the there is

18:45

perfect evidence that this has happened.

18:47

The Bible says men's hearts failing them

18:48

for fear. What is the number one killer

18:50

in America?

18:51

>> Heart disease. What is the number one

18:53

reason someone visits a doctor? Anxiety.

18:55

All in the verse.

18:58

>> Right. And then there's here's where

18:59

Ellen White says, "The nations are in

19:01

unrest. Times of perplexity are upon us.

19:04

Men's hearts are failing them for fear

19:06

of the things that are coming upon the

19:07

earth. Look at this. But those who

19:09

believe in God will hear his voice amid

19:12

the storm saying, "It is I. Be not

19:16

afraid."

19:17

>> If you really are connected to Christ,

19:21

the more chaotic the world becomes, the

19:24

more confident you become that he's

19:26

coming for you. Amen.

19:29

>> If you really are connected with Christ

19:31

and these crazy things happen, you don't

19:33

panic and go into fear. I told you that

19:35

turns off your frontal lobe in faith.

19:37

You hear the voice of Jesus saying,

19:38

"That's all right. This turbulence has

19:40

to happen, but I'm about to land a

19:42

plane."

19:45

>> So

19:49

without a functioning frontal lobe, you

19:52

will not hear his voice.

19:55

You will not hear his voice if you don't

19:57

have a functioning frontal lobe, which

19:59

is what we talked about this morning.

20:00

So, Satan attacks the mind. How does he

20:02

I'm going try and go through this a lot

20:04

here quick, but we're going to go

20:05

through a few quick things. He attacks

20:06

the mind. One of the major things, and I

20:08

wish the young people are here, I know

20:09

they have Pathfinders, is marijuana,

20:12

alcohol, and drugs.

20:15

Texas has not legalized recreational

20:17

marijuana. And I would imagine after

20:19

living here for a few months, it'll be a

20:21

long while before Texas does. But you go

20:24

up north and out [snorts] west and it's

20:27

ubiquitous. Those dispensaries are the

20:29

size of the church. I mean, some of them

20:30

are massive. And what they've done is

20:33

and marijuana is probably one of the

20:34

biggest threats. Let me let me say it

20:36

clearly. People have they got into CO

20:38

and the COVID response. And while all

20:40

that was going on, they were just

20:41

legalizing recreational marijuana all

20:43

over the country. Nothing is a bigger

20:45

threat to the to the public health of

20:47

the United States of America, especially

20:49

its young people, than the legalization

20:51

of recreational marijuana because it

20:54

causes new diseases. It does some

20:56

strange things. So, this is an um a

20:58

graph of the percentage of

21:00

tetrahydrokinabonoid and CBD in cannabis

21:03

samples. So, they they they they get the

21:05

cannabis um they look at it and they

21:08

test it. The marijuana that Bob Marley

21:10

and Bob Dylan smoked was about 3% THC.

21:14

For those of you who know who those two

21:15

people are. And today, this shows 16. We

21:20

have samples of of of marijuana now

21:22

where the THC is over 30%.

21:27

10 times the percentage points. Why is

21:29

that relevant? Because nowhere in human

21:31

history has anyone ever smoked or

21:34

consumed marijuana with that much THC.

21:37

in the history of the world. How did

21:40

they do it? Well, they said out of it

21:42

was social this why social justice don't

21:44

always know is what you cracked up to

21:45

be. They said for social justice

21:47

reasons. We need to legalize this cuz

21:48

all these minority kids are going to

21:50

prison for marijuana. Well, they didn't

21:52

tell you they could decriminalize it

21:54

without legalizing it. That's the first

21:56

lie. They wanted it legal, right? And so

21:59

what they did is they said that now

22:00

listen now those kids don't make any

22:02

money off of big who's making it. Big

22:04

corporations are making a fortune off of

22:06

marijuana. And like just like street

22:08

drug dealers, it's the same thing. If

22:11

you you know, I grew up with some some

22:12

dope boys in Miami. When they sell

22:15

drugs, they want to sell the most potent

22:17

version of it so you keep coming back.

22:20

>> That's what they've done with

22:21

recreational marijuana. They've made the

22:22

most potent version ever so that you got

22:25

to keep coming back for it.

22:27

>> So everything you thought you knew about

22:28

marijuana, forget it because it's 30% or

22:32

more tetrahedro tetrahydrokinabonoid.

22:35

Now what have we seen? We've seen new

22:37

diseases like cannabis induced hyper

22:39

emmesis where they can't stop throwing

22:41

up. Cannabis induced psychosis where

22:44

people just snapped into a psychotic

22:46

break. One boy ate a brownie too fast

22:49

and jumped to his death out of a hotel

22:51

window.

22:53

So we know now that this is and and and

22:56

so many young people they they they're

22:57

they're vaping it. They're doing the

23:00

edibles. They're you it's not just that

23:01

they smoke it now. You know, there's all

23:02

these different ways to take it. But one

23:05

of the things marijuana does is it

23:06

changes and I'll skip that and just go

23:08

here. It changes literally

23:12

um the way that your dopamine receptor

23:14

works. Marijuana is a gateway drug

23:16

because cocaine, amphetamines, alcohol

23:19

will flood the synaptic space between

23:22

the presinaptic neuron and the

23:23

postsaptic neuron with all of this

23:25

dopamine. So you get high. That's how

23:26

you get high. There's overrelease. If

23:29

you eat food, you release just a little

23:30

bit. You have sex, you release a lot

23:32

more than food, but still a controlled

23:34

amount. You do cocaine and all of these

23:36

empty. That's why cocaine is so

23:38

addicting. Marijuana does. It releases

23:41

more dopamine, but it messes with the

23:42

receptors down here, making them more

23:45

sensitive. So that when you try cocaine,

23:48

it's even more pleasurable to you than

23:49

it would have been. But it does

23:52

something else. This changes your

23:53

ability to experience normal everyday

23:56

pleasure.

23:58

So you move into a there's a condition

24:00

we now describe with marijuana called

24:02

amotivotivational syndrome. The young

24:05

person loses all motivation to do well

24:07

in life because

24:09

their dopamine system is all fried. All

24:12

messed up. And here's the thing, it

24:15

blocks GABA release. So So the other the

24:18

other drug I talk about, this is um this

24:20

is um frequent marijuana use uh may be

24:23

related to risky decision-making in

24:25

young adults. We now know that if you

24:27

want kids to make bad decisions or take

24:29

risky decisions, get them smoking

24:30

marijuana. But they don't just smoke

24:32

marijuana. It's not the way it works.

24:34

They do it with alcohol. So here it is.

24:37

There's no This is the World Health

24:39

Organization. There is no safe level of

24:42

alcohol consumption. Somebody said that

24:44

like a hundred something years ago. I

24:46

forget who it was. Oh, IT WAS ELLEN

24:48

WHITE. SHE SAID IT.

24:51

AND ALL these people have been telling

24:52

you all through the 70s, 80s, 90s, 2000,

24:56

oh a little wine is good for you. Have a

24:58

little wine at dinner. Now they said

25:00

even if you just drink one drink or two

25:02

drinks a week, it increases your risk of

25:04

cancer. Ain't that interesting? Took all

25:07

them years. Now they said, yeah, now now

25:09

they, you know, it all lines up.

25:12

But the chemical, like I mentioned this

25:14

morning, that inhibits bad behavior and

25:16

helps you to be self-controlled and be

25:18

temperate is the chemical GABA.

25:21

GABA is actually blocked by not just

25:24

marijuana and is also blocked by by

25:27

alcohol. So, I don't have time to get

25:29

deep into this. It's not a drug talk,

25:30

but I want to mention this because we're

25:31

talking about the frontal lobe, but

25:33

Snoop Dogg had a song a long time ago,

25:35

and I don't know how Snoop's so popular.

25:37

I I I I'm lost. I watched him on the

25:39

Olympics. I said this I I don't

25:41

understand. But then I remembered Snoop

25:43

made a song a long time ago called

25:45

Murder is the case. And if you go back

25:47

and just you just read the lyrics, you

25:49

can watch the music video on YouTube,

25:51

but you just read the lyrics so you

25:52

don't have to watch it. He sells his

25:54

soul to the devil in the record.

25:59

No qu I mean I challenge you to go look

26:01

at it. Nah, don't go look at it, but you

26:04

can read it. He sells his soul to the

26:07

devil.

26:09

No wonder then he's pushing jin and

26:11

juice. And him and Dre actually came out

26:13

with a drink, a actual jin and juice

26:15

drink. But he talks about smoking endo

26:17

with it, which is marijuana. What we now

26:19

know is when you mix alcohol and

26:20

marijuana, you completely become

26:23

disinhibited and you can totally change

26:25

a person, really damage the frontal

26:27

lobe, but in the moment the person can

26:30

be dangerous. I say this every time,

26:31

almost every time I preach on this, I

26:32

say it. I asked was when I was working

26:34

with the Bloods and the Crips. Our

26:35

church worked with them and my job in

26:37

Pasadena, we worked with him and I asked

26:38

with him, "How do you do a driveby

26:40

shooting? How do you just go to somebody

26:41

and just shoot up a house? You don't

26:42

even know who's inside." He said, "A 40

26:46

and a blunt.

26:49

You drink alcohol and smoke weed and you

26:52

be surp You should be surprised what you

26:55

can do."

26:57

Cuz he said, "My grandmother raised me

26:58

better than this." Now, all right, let's

27:02

get out of drugs. Let's go to TV. The

27:04

bigger drug, right? So, one of the

27:07

things that will damage the frontal lobe

27:08

is television. And television is known

27:12

to make you we've been in church a we've

27:14

been talking about this since I was a

27:15

kid way back in the day. But what the

27:18

science is really catching up, it's not

27:20

just a movie. How television shapes our

27:22

brains. Television puts us in a hypnotic

27:25

state. This is not a church publication.

27:28

What does that mean for us? So when you

27:29

watch TV, you go into a hypnotic state.

27:32

And you know this because you can watch

27:33

a 2-hour movie. If you've ever watched a

27:35

2-hour movie that you really enjoyed, it

27:37

went by like this. That is the sign that

27:40

you're in a hypnotic state. Football,

27:42

you know, sports sometimes can do that.

27:44

Um except that they have commercials.

27:46

But you know, the movies are just

27:47

smooth. Watching television alters

27:49

children's brain structure and does

27:51

what? Lowers IQ. So, did you know that

27:54

if you just want to one of the way there

27:56

are two things you can look at on most

27:58

kids to predict school performance. One

28:00

of them is how many hours of television

28:02

they watch a week. The second one is how

28:05

many hours of sleep they get a week. If

28:08

you look at the kids who perform the

28:09

worst, they're going to be the highest

28:11

in TV and the lowest in sleep. And you

28:14

throw in social media as a new third, it

28:17

also works like TV works. So, um, here

28:20

here's another article.

28:23

Too much too much TV may be bad for your

28:26

long-term brain health. People who watch

28:28

large amounts of television in midlife

28:30

experience greater cognitive declines in

28:32

their senior years. That's that's crazy.

28:35

So, when you can just come home from

28:37

work and relax and watch TV, it actually

28:39

sets you up to have more dementia-like

28:41

symptoms later in life. That's how bad

28:44

the effect of television. And again, not

28:46

this is not Christian publication or

28:48

Ellen White. This is just what they

28:50

found. New study suggests that too much

28:52

TV really can rot your brain. And Ellen

28:55

White says it like this. She says

28:58

manuscript 63, if they talk darkness,

29:00

they have darkness in abundance. What

29:03

does she say next? By beholding, we

29:06

become changed into the same image.

29:09

That's what happens as we watch stuff we

29:12

shouldn't watch. So there's mirror

29:14

neurons in the brain. Um and we you know

29:17

we know that these are clinically very

29:18

relevant and we discovered these mirror

29:21

neurons in the brain studying monkeys. I

29:24

won't take long here but so the they had

29:26

the monkey hold a banana. They scanned

29:27

the monkeyy's brain and this part of the

29:28

brain lit up. Then the handler of the

29:30

monkey held the banana and the same part

29:32

of the brain lit up. They started doing

29:33

the research and what they realized when

29:34

you watch someone do something even on a

29:37

screen there's a part of your brain that

29:39

thinks you're doing it.

29:41

So when you watch all that violence on

29:44

television,

29:46

and again, everybody's different. So

29:47

there are people who are going to have,

29:48

you know, good protective measures.

29:49

They're never going to act out what they

29:50

see. But there going to be other people

29:51

who can't help themselves and will act

29:54

out what they see. Or in a time of

29:56

stress or great depression, they will

29:59

then act out what they've seen. So

30:01

here's the kicker because I'm not going

30:02

to talk about it in this talk. What does

30:04

pornography do then?

30:07

It is a complete destruction of the

30:09

mind. When I when I do the talks on

30:11

pornography, we talk about how

30:12

pornography actually shrinks the human

30:15

brain. Did you know that the brain of a

30:18

hero of a of a porn addicted person is

30:21

the same looks the same as the brain of

30:23

someone on heroin

30:26

damages especially the frontal lobe. Of

30:29

course, it does all the damage it does

30:30

to later life. So all these young boys

30:32

are watching porn because of cell

30:33

phones. The average age that kids sees

30:35

porn now is like 11 or 12 years of age.

30:38

So, when I was growing up, if I mean,

30:39

you'd have to go to a store or steal

30:41

somebody's or something. And if you

30:43

brought one of them magazines into my

30:45

mother's house, woo boy. I mean, I can't

30:48

even imagine what would happen. I would

30:49

never even try. You'd have been whooped

30:52

with the magazine before she burned the

30:54

magazine. [snorts]

30:57

My point is, it's easy to get now. And

31:00

it's in a in it in forms that are far

31:03

more dangerous than the magazines.

31:06

And this is one of the ways the devil is

31:08

attacking the frontal lobe, especially

31:09

of young men. In some of my sermons, I I

31:12

showed a study where they said 70% of

31:14

men, Christian men in America, of all

31:17

denominations, and 40% of women are

31:20

regular porn watchers or consumers.

31:23

Here's the scary part. The majority of

31:26

the people in church who use pornography

31:28

are perfectly fine with using it.

31:32

meaning they no longer pricricked by the

31:34

Holy Spirit that watching pornography is

31:37

wrong.

31:39

This is the damage to the frontal lobe.

31:41

And of course, Hollywood is all over

31:43

this. Um, you know, Hollywood is from a

31:45

tree, the Holly tree. And you remember

31:48

Merlin's magic wand was made out of

31:50

Hollywood. So, Hollywood, California is

31:53

really Satan's magic wand. It's designed

31:56

to get you to hate God. And I have a

31:59

whole thing I do on this. I just took

32:00

out this one. This is um the Simpsons TV

32:02

show. Some of you have heard of it. One

32:05

of the kids, Bart Simpson, is asked to

32:07

thank God for a meal. He says, "Dear

32:09

God, we paid for all this stuff

32:10

ourselves, so thanks for nothing."

32:14

[snorts]

32:14

So, let me ask you, what happens when

32:16

your four-year-old, 6-year-old,

32:18

8-year-old, 10year-old, 11year-old

32:20

watches this? You're trying to get them

32:22

to love the Lord and they see this.

32:24

Remember that when they're watching

32:25

television, they're in a semi-hypnotic

32:27

state. So these messages are will

32:29

actually penetrate and affect them more

32:32

than the sermon they hear in church

32:34

because in church they're not in the

32:35

hypnotic state. They might fall asleep

32:37

but they're not in a hypnotic state.

32:41

Right? And so Jesus when when he was

32:42

dealing with the demoniac boy in Mark 9,

32:45

he asked the father, "How long is it ago

32:47

since this came unto him?" The father of

32:48

the child responds since he was a child.

32:52

So we know from the Bible the devil

32:54

wants to get our children, right? So,

32:57

this is why when you look at um all of

33:00

this stuff, it's it's geared towards

33:01

you. I thought Dora the Explorer was

33:03

trying to teach you Spanish. No, she

33:05

teaching you all kind of witchcraft and

33:07

voodoo, all kinds of stuff. I mean, you

33:10

look it up. I mean, it's all mixed in

33:12

there. Mickey Mouse. Mickey Mouse is,

33:14

you know, he one of his first great

33:17

things from way back in the 50s is

33:19

Fantasia. If you watch that on you, you

33:21

can go back on YouTube and watch it. He

33:22

Mickey Mouse murdered someone in the

33:24

shadow realm.

33:26

as he does all this magic. This is how

33:28

the stuff started. I've talked when I

33:30

talk about love and marriage, how Walt

33:32

Disney said, "Listen to your Walt Disney

33:34

himself said, you know, your heart

33:36

whispers, so listen carefully." And then

33:38

they Disney has the whole thing, follow

33:40

your heart. And Ernesto de la Cruz from

33:42

the show Coco, he says, "The the world

33:44

may follow the rules." Ernesto de la

33:46

Cruz says, "I will follow my heart." But

33:50

you know what Jeremiah says? The heart

33:52

is desperately wicked.

33:55

Do you really want to follow that?

33:57

Right. So they Hollywood and the frontal

33:59

lobe. So they got Harry Potter came out

34:02

and everybody was bragging about all

34:03

these kids reading these books and

34:04

nobody ever asked A TOUGH QUESTION. WHY

34:07

IS a kid reading a book this thick?

34:10

Probably because there's a spell on the

34:12

book, right? And so everybody was all

34:14

excited. But those are real spells. Um

34:17

you know that real witches do. And it is

34:20

why now in America we know that there is

34:22

a rapidly closing American churches.

34:25

Churches are closing but they're

34:27

overshadowed by the meteoric rise in

34:30

witchcraft.

34:31

Witchcraft has come. And this is also

34:33

prophecy. We It was prophesied that

34:36

spiritualism will be one of the big

34:38

things in the last days. And it's

34:39

because a lot of people don't know the

34:41

Bible. Ecclesiastes 9:5 and 6 says, "For

34:43

the living know that they shall die, but

34:45

the dead know not anything. Neither have

34:47

they anymore a reward. For the memory of

34:50

them is what?

34:51

>> Forgotten." They don't have any memory.

34:53

Also, their love and their hatred, their

34:55

envy is now perished. Neither have they

34:57

any more portioned forever in anything

34:59

that is done under the sun. Can you be

35:01

haunted by a dead person?

35:03

>> No. If you're haunted, who's haunting

35:05

you?

35:06

>> A demon. Dead people are dead. They have

35:10

no consciousness according to the

35:11

scripture. But the witchcraft connects

35:13

us and and again I wish I had more time.

35:15

But when you look at where they done now

35:16

they move to these ghost shows, these

35:18

where they really go and try and find

35:20

them. Um ghost hunters and stuff. What

35:22

TV channel do they put them on? Sci-fi.

35:25

They want you to believe that

35:26

scientifically they can prove ghosts but

35:29

scientifically they can't prove God.

35:32

They want you an atheist who believes in

35:34

ghosts and aliens. I talked to one guy

35:37

who said, "You know, I don't believe in

35:38

God. there's no God. And I said, "What?

35:40

But then how do you explain it?" We

35:41

started talking about evolution and I

35:42

was explaining to him, "It doesn't

35:44

really make sense. Take the Bombader

35:45

Beetle for example. There's no way that

35:47

could have evolved." We're talking

35:48

talking. HE SAID, "THAT'S ALL RIGHT. I

35:49

understand. We're in England actually on

35:50

a on a train." And the man said, "The

35:52

aliens came and started the world." I

35:55

said, "Wait a minute. You don't believe

35:56

in God, but you believe ET came down

35:58

here and started the world?"

36:01

So, who made ET?

36:06

When you watch television and you get

36:07

into this hypnotic state, one of the

36:08

thing TV does is it opens your mind to

36:11

the supernatural.

36:14

>> When I was in when I was in Sabbath

36:15

school as a kid at Faith 7th Day

36:16

Adventist Church in Hartford,

36:18

Connecticut, I remember one of our um

36:20

Sabbath school teachers telling us that

36:22

um there was a TV show back then called

36:24

Fantasy Island.

36:27

She told us way back then that that show

36:29

was actually created for Seventh Day

36:32

Adventists

36:34

>> to get Seventh Day Adventist to believe

36:36

things they don't otherwise believe.

36:37

Now, I was just a little kid. I don't

36:38

know if what she was saying is true. I

36:40

do know that when you go back and look

36:42

at what they talked about, bafflement

36:44

appears on the show. All kinds of stuff

36:45

appears on the show that is consistent

36:47

with being antithetical to what we

36:49

believe.

36:51

One of them, of course, being the dead

36:54

know nothing. You can't visit the dead.

36:56

The dead can't visit you. So, what is

36:59

our earth in the in the Marvel

37:01

multiverse? And everybody loves Marvel

37:03

and they keep pushing out. In Marvel,

37:05

it's 616. The Earth that all these

37:08

characters exist in is called Earth 616.

37:12

Now, I found this interesting. I put

37:14

this in my talks on Black Panther

37:15

because Black Panther movie came out,

37:17

everybody went crazy. Here it is. The

37:19

guy who in who said that Marvel's Earth

37:21

is 616 says this. Thorp states he came

37:24

up with a number through numerology of

37:25

which he was a student at the time to

37:28

get the earth 616. He subtracted the

37:30

number 50 from the number 666.

37:33

A number tied to the Christian theology

37:35

to arrive at 616 as the home reality of

37:37

Marvel. So literally when you watch a

37:39

Marvel movie, you are watching Earth 666

37:43

minus 50. So what does 50 represent? It

37:46

comes from Alistister Crowley's do as

37:48

thou wilt shall be the whole of the law.

37:51

When you watch Marvel, it is numerology.

37:54

That's why in Marvel universe, the great

37:56

protector is a red dragon. In the Bible,

37:59

who's the red dragon?

38:01

>> Is he a protector? Not the last time I

38:04

checked. He'll kill you where you stand

38:06

if he can. And I I mentioned Black

38:08

Panther because one of the things they

38:11

want to do is especially destroy the

38:12

faith of African-Americans.

38:15

A lot of people don't know the backbone

38:16

of the church in America for a long time

38:18

has been black people, especially black

38:19

women. and they they they want to wipe

38:22

out the black church. That's why you're

38:23

going to get so much more of the um

38:25

racial tension and it's going to seep

38:27

into the church. People are going to be

38:28

blind. I realize what's most important.

38:30

They're going to miss stuff. But one of

38:32

the ways it did it when Black Panther

38:33

came out, I know a church that rented

38:35

out the movie theater and the and all

38:38

the church went to go watch Black

38:40

Panther. Now, let me ask you a tough

38:41

question. So when you do crusade now in

38:43

evangelism and people come to your

38:45

church and you tell them the living know

38:46

that they shall die and the dead know

38:48

not anything. How you going to tell them

38:50

that? At the same time you paid for

38:51

people to go see this man on the screen

38:54

talk to his dead relatives.

38:57

>> You see how the devil is slick? I mean

38:58

BECAUSE WE'RE SO PROUD. OH, we got a

39:00

black superhero.

39:02

I don't want a black superhero. I want

39:04

Jesus.

39:06

>> And so they've they've gotten all of us

39:07

with this. This is more that this is the

39:09

post-Christian morality of wicked. So, I

39:12

when I was a kid, we saw um uh um um the

39:15

Wizard of Oz,

39:17

>> Lion King.

39:18

>> I never thought much about the Wizard of

39:19

Oz. I'll be honest with you. As a kid,

39:21

you know, whatever. But they took the

39:24

Wizard of Oz. What I didn't know at the

39:25

time is that the Wizard of Oz is a

39:27

represent the guy himself, the wizard

39:29

himself represents the god of heaven.

39:33

Once you understand that the whole show

39:34

starts to make sense that in fact and

39:36

I'm talking about the movie from back in

39:37

the 50s or 60s when you get to the

39:39

wizard he's a farce right he he he

39:42

really is just like a clunky old man

39:45

there that's what they're trying to say

39:46

about the god of heaven

39:48

>> that's literally the point of the movie

39:50

so when this movie came out I was

39:51

curious but I can't watch musicals cuz

39:54

I'm like first of all I don't watch

39:55

stuff like this anyway but musicals

39:57

drive me nuts why don't you just say it

39:58

stop singing all the time right take

40:01

make the movie take forever Here it is.

40:04

One of the most noteworthy theological

40:06

trends in the 21st century pop culture

40:08

has been the rehabilitation of the

40:09

villain. Watch this church. From Kruella

40:12

Deville to Maleficent to the Joker and

40:15

more, iconic villains are now routinely

40:17

given spin-off movies and sympathetic

40:19

backstories that complicate our

40:21

categories of good and evil. This has

40:23

dovetailed with the rise of the trauma

40:25

plot and a narrative fixation on how

40:28

destructive choices, let's just call it

40:30

sin, can be explained by past trauma. So

40:32

they've made the movie so that you you

40:34

look at this evil person and say, you

40:36

know what, they were traumatized as a

40:38

child. So what? They're a wicked evil

40:41

villain. I feel sorry for them now. I

40:44

can excuse their sin. That's basically

40:46

what they're trying to get you to do.

40:47

But let's look at what else the article

40:49

says. Giving villains origin stories is

40:51

intriguing, but I think this trend r

40:53

trends rise is also connected to the

40:55

post-Christian cultures confusion about

40:57

sin and evil, morality and justice. In

40:59

this world, the theological word sin has

41:02

been replaced by the psychological word

41:04

brokenness

41:06

and transcendent concepts of justice

41:08

have been replaced by oppressor

41:09

oppressed power dynamics.

41:12

The article says, "All this is on full

41:14

display in Wicked. Rather than being the

41:16

iconically despicable, nightmareinducing

41:18

character immortalized by Margaret

41:20

Hamilton's 1939 Wizard of Oz, the wicked

41:23

witch of the West is reconsidered in

41:25

Wicked as a good-natured,

41:26

well-intentioned outcast named Alaba,

41:29

who has been seriously misunderstood."

41:31

They say,

41:34

"It is interesting that the wizard is a

41:36

god proxy." This is what I was just

41:37

explaining. The wizard is a god proxy in

41:40

the film's world. Characters explain

41:43

things like, "Thank Oz uh and what in

41:46

the name of Oz." This deity turns out to

41:48

be manipulative, a manipulative,

41:51

selfserving, untrustworthy villain.

41:53

Religious mythology is exposed as a

41:55

convenient means of perpetuating human

41:58

power.

41:59

So Wicked is getting all these awards

42:02

and everybody like I think they're

42:03

coming out with a sequel because what

42:05

the devil is trying to do is actually

42:07

make you have sympathy for him. So he

42:11

made the TV show Lucifer

42:13

and in making the TV show Lucifer they

42:16

re they're rewriting the great

42:18

controversy.

42:20

Right? So let me give you an example of

42:21

this. If you if you you know I didn't

42:23

know people watch this show but people

42:24

do watch it. Here's from the wiki page

42:26

on the show Lucifer. When Michael was

42:29

battling Lucifer and Amanadil in the Los

42:32

Angeles Police Department, he unfurled,

42:34

opened up his wings prior to his

42:36

brothers and prepared to battle them at

42:38

full battle him at full strength. Using

42:41

the wings as weapons until God arrived

42:42

to halt the fighting, they then refurled

42:45

their wings. Look at this. During their

42:47

during the final battle with Lucifer to

42:50

decide who would be the next God. Can

42:52

Lucifer be the be God?

42:55

All right. Right there, you're wrong.

42:56

The brothers used their wings to battle

42:58

each other in the sky. After Michael was

43:00

defeated, Lucifer used a flaming sword

43:02

to sever Michael's wings, seeing it as a

43:04

preferable outcome to the fight to the

43:06

death Michael had wanted. Now, in the

43:09

Bible, who is Michael?

43:12

>> Jesus.

43:13

Do you see what they're doing? So, when

43:15

you go to witness to people and tell

43:17

them about the Lord, they actually going

43:19

to have the whole story backwards now.

43:23

And again, you're in a semi-hypnotic

43:25

state when you watch a show like I

43:26

didn't think Adventist my wife, we go

43:28

places and I talk about this show,

43:29

people come to me, "Oh, it's not that

43:31

bad." You know, we just watch it cuz

43:32

it's funny. It's funny.

43:35

>> I don't think that's funny at all.

43:37

Making Jesus into the laughing stock of

43:39

the show, making Jesus the bad guy.

43:42

How's that funny if you're a Christian?

43:46

Revelation 16 13- 14 says, "And I saw

43:50

three unclean spirits like frogs come

43:52

out of the mouth of the dragon and out

43:53

of the mouth of the beast and out of the

43:55

mouth of the false prophet." What are

43:57

these spirits? They are the spirits of

43:59

devils working miracles which go forth

44:01

to the kings of the earth and of the

44:03

whole world to gather them to the battle

44:04

of the great day God Almighty. There are

44:07

these spirits that have gone out unclean

44:09

spirits, spiritualism, in order to get

44:11

people to do what they want. And if

44:13

Satan has a a superpower of above all

44:16

his other powers, it's music. The Bible

44:19

in Ezekiel tells us that he was built

44:21

with pipes and tabts. He is a living

44:25

musical being. That's who he is. Some

44:28

argue he could sing. He can sing eight

44:29

part harmony by himself. Led the

44:31

heavenly host in the in their choir. He

44:34

is a musical uh uh uh person. And how

44:37

effective is music? Remember, music

44:39

bypasses the frontal lobe. We're talking

44:41

about the frontal lo this morning. Music

44:42

bypasses and enters into a different

44:44

part of the brain and affects you in a

44:47

way that you do not process the lyrics

44:49

to a song the way you would if someone

44:51

spoke them to you. And most of us know

44:54

how music affects you. Right? If you if

44:56

right now if you just start playing

44:57

music, a lot of us would start moving

44:59

even if we weren't listening to the

45:00

music really.

45:03

>> But it's deeper than that. A 2006 study

45:07

um from the journal pediatrics found

45:08

that 1500 they studied 1500 teenagers

45:11

and found that the teenagers who who

45:13

heavily listen to music featuring sexual

45:16

subject matter are more likely to start

45:18

having sex earlier than those who do not

45:20

by a margin of almost 2 to one. So if

45:23

you want to make a child corrupt, in

45:25

fact, the lyrics to some of these songs

45:27

have gotten so vile that some argue it

45:31

is child abuse for them to listen to

45:34

people like Megan Stallion and Cardi B

45:36

and there's another one, somebody like

45:38

Sabrina Carpenter or something. This so

45:40

sexually charged and of course the male

45:43

rappers and the male singers have been

45:45

like this for a long time. The women are

45:46

just kind of more coming around to it.

45:48

It is so sexually charged that it is

45:51

concepts being given to kids that the

45:53

kid can't understand.

45:56

Which is why they say in a sense it's

45:57

like a trauma.

45:59

And we now know from this study and

46:01

there are many others that are quoting

46:03

some of the other talks that it actually

46:05

can change the way a child behaves.

46:09

And so of course we was is music

46:12

spiritualism? Well, this book by Peter

46:13

Berbal, I've been talking about this

46:15

book for a long time. how the occult

46:17

saved rock and roll. And it basically

46:19

outlines the fact that in fact, yes, the

46:22

music industry was saved and propped up

46:25

because they brought in occultism,

46:29

right? And so when people get mad and

46:31

people get mad at me when I talk about

46:32

Taylor Swift, please don't hurt me. Let

46:34

me just I'm not going to say nothing but

46:36

read her own lyrics. She says in this in

46:38

this song, um, light me up. She says,

46:41

"They're burning all the witches, even

46:42

if you aren't one. They got their

46:44

pitchforks and proof, their receipts and

46:46

reasons. They're burning all the

46:47

witches, even if you aren't one. Then

46:49

look at what she says. So, light me up.

46:51

Light me up. Light me up. What is she

46:53

saying?

46:56

I ain't say it, but that's what she's

46:58

saying.

47:00

And I know that that's what she's saying

47:01

because she tweets this kind of stuff.

47:04

Here it is. You ever find yourself

47:05

waiting for the signal and meeting

47:07

someone after dark and happening upon a

47:09

majestic coven in the woods? Coven of

47:11

witches. Me neither. But do you want do

47:13

you want your something to make you feel

47:15

like that or I don't know what that bad

47:18

English is there. Then the willow

47:19

moonlight witch version is for you. She

47:22

said on Instagram about the moonlight

47:24

witch. Moonlight witch. Now if you're

47:27

not into witchcraft, would you make a

47:28

song named the moonlight witch? I

47:30

probably would never even come up with

47:31

an idea like that.

47:34

The point is these singers and I I

47:36

stopped showing this one but I brought I

47:37

resurrected it for y'all because we in

47:39

Texas. This is Beyonce's song, Church

47:41

Girl. Now look at what Beyonce says. And

47:44

no, now notice she's levitating. You

47:45

ever been to church? Somebody levitate.

47:47

If you go to church, someone levitate.

47:49

My advice to you is to get out of church

47:50

fast. Somebody's not floating around up

47:53

here. You might want to hit that back

47:54

door.

47:56

But you ain't going to get out there

47:57

faster than the brothers. They going

47:58

usually get out first. Out that back

48:01

door. Look at what she says. She says,

48:03

and she she's sampling the Clark sisters

48:05

gospel song, Centered in Your Will,

48:07

which they talk about being centered in

48:08

the will of God. Listen to what Beyonce

48:10

says. Ooh ooh, "I want to be centered. I

48:12

want to be centered in your will. I'm

48:14

warning everybody as soon as I get in

48:16

this party. I'm going to let go of this

48:18

body. I'm I'm going to love on me." Look

48:20

at what she says. Nobody can judge me

48:22

but me. Is that true? No. Judgment is

48:25

given to Christ. She says, "I was born

48:27

free. Bad girl acting naughty. Church

48:31

girl don't hurt nobody."

48:35

You You figure that one out yourself.

48:36

Here's the impact of it from a magazine

48:38

headlined for the article said Beyonce's

48:41

church girl has black Christian women

48:43

going that's me. So there's this idea

48:47

that you're going to be a Christian

48:48

woman at the same time you're going to

48:50

be in the party in the club showing out

48:53

and no one can judge you. Let me say

48:55

this. If you if you're a young person in

48:57

here, young adult even you cannot serve

49:00

God and Satan.

49:02

>> Amen. I see, you know, this is one of

49:04

the reason I'm not a big fan of the

49:05

sometimes we our churches we spend a lot

49:07

of money and have a big band playing in

49:09

church and I'm tell you I've been at

49:10

churches where the you can see the dudes

49:12

played the played the nightclub the

49:13

night before still got the stamp on

49:15

their hand from the nightclub and walk

49:17

straight in here to come play in God's

49:19

house.

49:20

>> You can you're not you're not supposed

49:22

to Bible says do not mix the holy with

49:24

the profane.

49:26

>> Right. So there's other artists my

49:28

friend um his daughter started listening

49:30

to someone named Billy Isish. Yeah, I

49:32

got heard of this young lady. I'd never

49:34

heard of her before. I talk about her

49:36

now, but at that time I hadn't heard of

49:38

her. And she had a song called All the

49:39

Good Girls Go to Hell. I mean, that says

49:42

enough to me. Well, I wouldn't listen to

49:43

her, but she look at some of her lyrics.

49:45

And I'm just going to give this one

49:46

thing. She says, this is the name of her

49:48

song here is a bury a friend. Step on

49:50

the glass, staple your tongue, bury a

49:54

friend, try to wake up, cannibal class,

49:58

killing the sun, bury a friend. Then she

50:01

says,"I want to end me."

50:05

Now in a time when we are watching

50:07

epidemic rates of selfutilization,

50:09

suicide, and young people, why would you

50:12

make a song like this? And I'm missing

50:14

something because our daughter showed me

50:16

that this word son here, she she looked

50:17

up the actual lyrics is supposed to be

50:19

spelled S O N. She's killing the son,

50:22

meaning Christ.

50:26

this. So my my pastor friend, he said

50:28

his daughter started listening to her

50:29

and she just totally changed. He's like,

50:32

"Look up this young. Who is this

50:34

person?" And I looked her up and I was I

50:35

was actually shocked. So then of course

50:37

you got people like Kanye West. Kanye

50:39

West, here he is with Common and he he

50:41

wrapped a long time. He said, "I sold my

50:43

soul to the devil. That's a crappy

50:44

deal." He said, "Um, at least it came

50:47

with a few toys like a Happy Meal."

50:50

Right? Then everybody said, "Well, no,

50:51

Kanye West is a Christian. He made a

50:53

gospel album called Jesus is King. Every

50:56

Kanye Christian. Now

51:00

the Bible says, "Judge not, but by their

51:03

fruit you shall know them." So here it

51:06

is. It says here, "Satan, this is the

51:09

Church of Satan's official Twitter."

51:10

Well, now X Satan is the best friend.

51:14

Kanye,

51:20

can you guys Satan is the best friend

51:23

Kanye has ever had as he will keep him

51:25

in business all these years.

51:30

The church of Satan said Kanye hasn't

51:32

left us.

51:34

And you can see by his behavior, the way

51:37

his now wife dresses. I mean, I have

51:41

pictures of Kanye West wearing his whole

51:42

face is covered in a black mask.

51:46

Doesn't even make any sense.

51:48

Here's the thing. You can't listen to

51:50

that and expect to be on God's side.

51:54

When he made Jesus as King, I just

51:55

didn't buy it. I just like this don't

51:57

make no sense. I saw him going Joel

51:58

Ostein here in Texas, Houston, and he

52:00

ran up there and rambled. It made no

52:02

sense.

52:04

I said, "That's a weird testimony. It

52:06

don't It doesn't make any sense what

52:08

he's saying.

52:10

But then the guy who really blew up now

52:12

is this guy

52:14

Kendrick Lamar. And in one of his

52:16

interludes, he has a song called Lucy.

52:18

And listen to him. Lucy is short for

52:20

who?

52:21

>> Lucifer. Listen to what he says. He

52:24

says, "My name is Lucy." Lucifer.

52:26

Kendrick. You introduce me. Kendrick.

52:28

Usually I don't do this, but I see you

52:31

and me, Kendrick. Lucy gives you no

52:33

worries. Lucifer is going to give you no

52:34

worries. Lucifer's got a million stories

52:36

about these rappers that I came after

52:38

when they was boring. So, he's going to

52:40

tell on all the other rappers and make

52:41

you be able to do better diss tracks,

52:43

which is what he's famous for. Lucy's

52:44

going to fill your pockets. Look at this

52:46

one. Lucy's going to move your mama out

52:48

of Compton inside the gigantic mansion

52:51

like I promised. So, the devil is

52:54

promising Kendrick Lamar all this stuff.

52:56

Then he says, "Lucy just wants your

52:58

trust and loyalty. Avoiding me? It's not

53:01

so easy. I'm at these functions

53:03

accordingly." Kendrick, Lucy, don't

53:05

slack a minute. Lucy work harder. Look

53:08

at this last line. Lucy's going to call

53:10

you. Even when Lucy knows you love your

53:13

father.

53:15

The devil says, "Listen, it don't matter

53:17

how much you say you love Jesus. I'm

53:19

going to keep calling you. I'm going to

53:21

keep promising you the things of this

53:22

world." He is now, I would argue, maybe

53:25

the biggest rapper right now. I don't

53:26

know. I'm not into rap anymore, but I

53:28

know he did the Super Bowl show last

53:29

year, so I know he's big. Here's what

53:31

the Bible says. 1st Samuel 15:23 says

53:33

this, "For rebellion is as the sin of

53:35

what?

53:37

>> Witchcraft."

53:38

Rebellion is as the sin of when you

53:40

rebel against God, it's like a sin of

53:42

witchcraft. That's why even as a church,

53:45

our church, again, it grieves me. I just

53:47

did a sermon on this at Linda. Grieves

53:49

me to see the people in the church

53:51

attacking each other, attacking the

53:52

church. It grieves me because if you're

53:55

rebelling against the remnant, what

53:57

spirit is making you do that? Amen.

54:01

>> So, just to make the point, here's Kanye

54:03

West's ex-wife and his daughter,

54:05

Northwest. So, his last name is West. He

54:08

named his daughter North. That says it

54:10

all, right? Um, so Kim Kardashian uses

54:13

mediums to talk to her late father and

54:15

he has a lot to say about Northwest. So,

54:18

they're trying to make Northwest a star,

54:20

the daughter, a music star. So, she

54:23

talks to the dead f is can she talk to

54:25

him? According to Bible, she can't talk

54:27

to him. So, who's she talking to? Who's

54:31

giving her advice on how to make her

54:32

daughter a superstar?

54:35

>> So, when you listen to them, who are you

54:37

really listening to?

54:39

Is your frontal lobe in the right place

54:41

to be able to deal with all of this

54:42

stuff? 1 Timothy 4:1-2 says, "Now the

54:45

spirit speaks expressly that in the

54:47

latter time some shall depart from the

54:49

faith, giving heed to seducing spirits

54:51

and doctrines of devils, speaking lies

54:53

and hypocrisy, having their conscience

54:56

seared with a hot iron." In the last

54:58

days,

55:00

some are going to depart from the faith,

55:04

church. It's happening. It's called a

55:06

shaking. And I see it happening all over

55:08

the place. I see people questioning our

55:10

fundamental beliefs, asking why is it

55:12

even important that we teach prophecy or

55:14

revelation or Daniel. You know what

55:16

Peter says about prophecy? He says there

55:18

is a more sure word of prophecy. Of

55:21

course, we teach prophecy. Prophecy is

55:24

one of the ways you know for a fact you

55:25

can trust the scripture. Study the 490

55:27

year prophets. Study the Dead Sea

55:29

Scrolls when we now know how old we now

55:31

know the book of Daniel is. We some

55:32

argue that recent study come out say the

55:34

book of Daniel from the Dead Sea Scrolls

55:36

probably dates almost all the way back

55:38

to the time of Daniel himself which

55:40

means those prophecies were written

55:41

hundreds of years before the birth of

55:43

Christ. Yet the 490ear prophecy

55:47

that last week that the evangelicals try

55:49

to take from the Jesuits and use

55:51

futurism and throw way out into the

55:52

future. That last week the Bible says in

55:54

the middle of that week the Messiah

55:56

would be cut off. That is exactly and

55:58

precisely the day and almost the hour

56:01

Jesus WAS CRUCIFIED. THAT PROPHECY TELLS

56:04

ME I CAN TRUST MY BIBLE.

56:08

But they don't want you studying it

56:09

anymore. They ain't want you listening

56:12

to music. Ecclesiastes 7:5 says, "It is

56:14

better to hear the rebuke of the wise

56:17

than for a man to hear the song of

56:19

fools."

56:21

Music is a trap. You got to be very

56:24

careful. It leaves you on course. Just a

56:26

couple slides on this one. Social media,

56:27

I'd be remiss if I didn't say something

56:29

about it. And one of the big things

56:31

besides the fact that it keeps kids up,

56:32

so they're not getting good sleep.

56:33

They're not doing good in school. It it

56:35

causes body dysmorphia with girls on

56:38

Instagram. The studies have come out

56:40

show that girls who are into this

56:42

actually see themselves as less

56:43

attractive and go into can go into bad

56:46

behaviors because of that. But one of

56:48

the big things that it's doing is it's

56:50

actually pushing so spiritualism. This

56:52

is uh witches of Instagram. How does

56:54

social media spread spiritual

56:55

spirituality, witchcraft, and pagan

56:57

movements? The big thing on Tik Tok is

57:00

called witch talk. Uh the rise of the

57:03

occult, and there are over 80 billion

57:04

views of this now, or or I don't know

57:06

how they do it, but the 80 billion

57:08

things about this. This is how they

57:09

training kids to be witches from a

57:12

distance.

57:14

They said they're going to do away with

57:15

Tik Tok. You know why they're not going

57:17

to do away with TikTok? You know why Tik

57:18

Tok will survive? because right now it's

57:20

probably Satan's number one tool for in

57:23

for indoctrinating young people into the

57:26

occult and witchcraft.

57:28

[snorts]

57:29

>> So

57:31

1 Corinthians 10 says verse 21, you

57:34

cannot drink the cup of the Lord and the

57:35

cup of devils. You cannot be partakers

57:37

of the Lord's table and the table of

57:39

devils. Do we provate provoke the Lord

57:41

to jealousy? Are we stronger than he?

57:45

You can't you can't have it both ways.

57:48

We've got to make a decision today. And

57:49

that's where the frontal lobe is so

57:50

important. You got to make a decision

57:52

that you are going to follow God no

57:54

matter what. That's why Philippians 4:8

57:56

says, "Finally, brethren, whatsoever

57:58

things are true, whatsoever things are

58:00

honest, whatsoever things are just,

58:02

whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever

58:03

things are lovely, whatsoever things are

58:05

of a good report, if there be any

58:07

virtue, if there be any praise, do what?

58:11

>> Think on these things." Let me tell you

58:13

what what the advice I give people now.

58:16

I a lot of time I don't even listen to

58:17

Christian music in my car anymore unless

58:19

it's hymns or something. I listen to the

58:21

Bible. There's no excuse. I go on audio

58:24

verse. I can get the animated version of

58:26

the Bible and I can listen to the Bible.

58:28

I just I listened to to Exodus through

58:31

Joshua in just the last few weeks and

58:33

I'm on Judges now. I listen to Spirit of

58:36

Prophecy. I went back and listened again

58:38

to the story of redemption and the great

58:40

controversy recently. while you drive

58:42

around in your car, while you doing

58:44

chores, while you're at the gym, flood

58:46

your mind with the things of God. That

58:49

doesn't replace getting sitting down in

58:51

the Bible and studying hard. But when

58:53

you just I listen to the book of Psalms

58:55

through, man, you would go back and just

58:57

listen to the Psalm. It's so encouraging

58:59

just to hear them read the Psalms to

59:02

you. That's what we have to do. Then you

59:04

can get on audio verse and find other

59:06

good sources like that and listen to

59:08

really good sermons, uh, doctrinal

59:10

sermons. the men like Norman McNelte,

59:12

you want to learn about the book of

59:13

Daniel and Revelation, he has a great um

59:16

uh commentary he put on on those two

59:17

books, re listen to his sermons on it

59:19

and some of the things you think you

59:21

don't understand, you'll get full and

59:22

thorough understanding because guess

59:24

what? We can, you know, I used to tease

59:26

my brother all the time. I had to stop

59:27

cuz he got mad at me, but I used to

59:29

tease my brother cuz he's a big sports

59:30

fan and he could tell you every player

59:33

in the NCAA football. He can tell you

59:35

every player, NCAA basketball, every

59:38

player in the NFL, NBA, who won, what,

59:40

where, when, and how. I said, "David,

59:43

can you tell me the 12 disciples?"

59:47

I said, "If NCAA, they back then they

59:49

changed their teams every four years." I

59:51

said, "They ain't changed the disciples

59:53

in 2000.

59:57

Anything can become an idol.

60:01

Think on the things of God.

60:06

And finally, we are called

60:08

above all things, we are called to stand

60:11

for Christ.

60:13

>> And so we have to make a stand in the

60:15

first place. You're not going to make a

60:16

stand in public if you haven't made one

60:17

in private. I tell people now, if after

60:20

church you running straight to a

60:21

restaurant to have lunch, you think you

60:23

go this when the Sunday laws passed, you

60:25

didn't really value the Sabbath enough

60:28

to take the preparation day to make sure

60:29

you have food on Saturday. You think

60:31

when the time of trouble comes, you're

60:33

going to lose your income over this

60:34

thing. If you can't if you can't prepare

60:37

and take the Sabbath serious now, you

60:40

think all of a sudden you're going to be

60:41

like, "Okay, let me let me lose my job

60:43

and maybe my life for it when you're not

60:45

willing to give up a few hours for it

60:47

now."

60:50

And the Sabbath is not about legalism.

60:52

It's not that you keep the Sabbath to

60:53

save you. I keep the Sabbath BECAUSE

60:55

IT'S MY TIME WITH GOD.

60:57

IN A love relationship, you never get to

60:59

know the other person unless YOU HAVE

61:01

QUALITY TIME. THAT'S WHY the Sabbath is

61:03

instituted like MARRIAGE BEFORE sin

61:06

enters the world. That's how important

61:09

the SABBATH IS. SO, I I I CHALLENGE YOU.

61:13

LISTEN, ALL OF these things have to come

61:14

together. But we've got to make a

61:16

decision in our hearts that we are going

61:17

to stand for Christ in our private life

61:22

>> if we ever think we're going to stand

61:23

for him publicly.

61:26

Bible says, "And they love not their

61:28

lives unto death."

61:31

If you can't die to self, you ain't

61:34

going to die for God.

61:37

And we got to be asking God now. Lord,

61:39

help me to let go of these sins that so

61:42

easily beset me. If that's what you

61:45

want, I want you to just stand with me

61:46

if somebody

61:48

time is short and I don't want any of my

61:51

loved ones to be lost. And some of you

61:53

are in that same boat. We stand in the

61:56

gap for them today.

61:58

>> But also, some of us here are saying,

62:00

"Nah, I need to be closer to Jesus."

62:02

Let's pray. Father God, we thank you for

62:03

this opportunity to study your word. We

62:06

thank you, Lord, for your word and for

62:08

your truth. We thank you, Jesus, for

62:10

your kindness, your wonder, and your

62:12

patience, Lord. Lord, you are better to

62:15

us than we are to ourselves. So, we

62:17

thank you,

62:19

Father God. Right now, we claim your

62:20

promises. You say in Isaiah 49:25 that

62:23

you will contend with those who contend

62:25

with us and you will save our children.

62:28

>> Amen.

62:28

>> Some of us here, Lord, are praying for

62:30

our children right now. We're standing

62:31

in the gap for our kids.

62:34

You say in your word, Lord, in Mark nine

62:35

that if we can believe, all things are

62:37

possible to him that believes. We claim

62:39

that promise right now for our other

62:41

loved ones, co-workers, neighbors, maybe

62:44

it's even a spouse. Lord, right now in

62:46

the name of Jesus, we claim your blood

62:49

and your Holy Ghost power. We give the

62:51

Holy Spirit permission for him to go in

62:54

and work on the hearts of those we want

62:56

to reach, Lord. Well, Lord, we don't

62:59

want to pray for others when we

63:00

ourselves are not right.

63:02

>> So, Lord, I ask in a special way, Lord,

63:04

that we would begin, Lord, to be so

63:06

filled with the Holy Spirit that sin

63:08

would be detestable to us. We would turn

63:10

our hearts and minds to you. We would

63:13

live for Jesus. protect our frontal lobe

63:16

so that we can be sealed with the seal

63:18

of God. It's our prayer in Jesus's

63:20

precious and holy name that the church

63:22

say amen and amen. And you may be

63:24

seated.

63:25

>> Amen.

63:38

Heat. Heat.
