Hoang Church Rush

Hello guys. Crazy game here and I've got plenty more to bring you that are similar to this because Huang the legend, the all in man himself has found the Armenian churches.

Yes, I've made a million videos in regards to Huang over the years. Wong goes way back. I'm gonna talk a little bit about that.

But this guy has been going all in has been going aggressive for a decade now. Used to be the old Hun wars games now then it became Celts, the Kelt etc is more of the modern era thing.

Well he's found the churches of the Armenians and he is mastering it and it is crazy to see. So he's here in the blue and then we got his opponent raise who's playing with.

Otherwise I would say that maybe the best arena save in the game. Bohemians

do want to get a couple things out of the way here as we speed up here in this arena game. Apologies, I have not had consistent regular uploads to the main channel.

Many of you probably know this, but on the extra channel there have been a million and one uploads of Titans league season five $100,000 total season.

We've got bronze, silver or we had bronze, silver, gold, then platinum happening. There will be hundreds and hundreds of games and that's a lot.

And so for the main channel I have fallen a little bit behind with my uploads. There will be more uploads that are not Titans League coming to the channel.

But I encourage you guys to to just keep an eye out for the best games on the main channel and go over to extras.

I'll also be streaming on the main channel Titans League action Mondays through or sorry, Fridays through Mondays.

And so I get that you guys understand. I've made some posts recently about this. Recently had my grandmother pass away.

I went home kind of last minute to basically say goodbye and then I'm. I'm actually recording this directly before I fly home tomorrow for the service.

Now

just some rough times and combine that with TTL being very busy,

it does mean that I haven't been able to do everything that I would have wanted. Life has simply gotten in the way.

So we're gonna get into this game here in a second. But I do just want to say thank you so much. There's a lot of stuff out there.

Right. And just keep an eye on the extras channel and the main channel. Thank you for your understanding.

Okay, past the serious stuff, we've got the church rush. Now. I've talked about this in the phosphoru uploads I think the church is op.

I think it's overpowered the fact that three villager the like villagers can build a church faster than they can build a tower, that the church has so many different bonuses.

You have the.

The ability to fire arrows not only with villagers inside, but also with the relics. With the Armenians specifically, you have the warrior priest.

It's just like really, really strong if you can use it. It's also very nice defensively. In this case, Huang is going to be doing it offensively and his opponent raised.

This is a player from Taiwan who's really solid 2400 Elo. He knew it was coming. Like everybody knows at this point because again, I'm late to the party with some of these uploads.

But some of these games are crazy. Now Huang reaches fuel age and raise made a mistake. Huang gets lucky.

But guys, if you are not going to be the first person to feud lich in an arena game, which if Raze is expecting this strategy, he should realize that Huang is going to be the castle age a little bit faster.

You don't want your scout out on the map. So now he's blind. Now. I think he knew it was gonna happen, but he didn't have a way of really confirming that.

And I just. What I find is so great about Huang, guys, is how in your face he is like just. Just with any of his strategies, right?

Like his alt account was just named celts in all caps when he was celt rushing people, just celts.

His name just Huang all caps. And then his strategy is like in your face, right? What I would potentially do is I'd maybe like drop the monastery here.

Then I drop the siege workshop. You build a little bit further back because you don't want your opponent to be able to range your church with whatever they're going to go for.

In this case, Red is going. He's planning around a castle. So he knows he's going to be pressured. He wants to go for a castle.

The unique unit can be very strong here. Watch what Huang does. And I swear he does this every single time.

It's so funny. He's like, hello, here I am. Monastery on your face. And there's like whether or not this is good strategy, I we could debate, but psychologically

that does something. Okay, let me tell you. I have been church rushed by Huang. I have been kelt rushed by Huang.

I've been hun rushed. Whatever you want to call his rushes. This does something to your mind. All right, so you look at this from Red's perspective.

It's like, oh, God, there's Huang now. I think it's hilarious. Sometimes he will actually build two churches on either side of the enemy gate.

And it looks really cool, especially if the bases are positioned a certain way because it looks like the door is like facing the enemy gate.

He's not gonna do that here. Now here's where it gets tricky. You see this and you're like, holy crap, he's gonna rush.

That's actually not what Huang does. First off, Huang is adding decent economy behind. He got the gold mining upgrade and the wood upgrade really early.

So the mule Cart technologies are 40% more effective with this.

And you also have the mule carts that you can just micro around. So that is making use of the Armenian bonuses immediately.

Then he doesn't immediately pressure you. They will sometimes like fake you out, basically. And you might be building up a lot of army.

Huang is just going to get all the relics as quickly as possible with these warrior priests. Shout out to these warrior priests, by the way.

I feel like they're going to have back issues. But just look at him lean back. He's like, oh, that's so heavy, bro.

But he's doing it.

So, yeah, shout out to them. So you start with the free relic. He got the free relic just because of that.

The bonus. The Armenians have to get one when you build the church. Now he's already up to two relics, which, I mean, that's something.

That's almost 100 gold already now. Raise has kind of gone for the slow cook here. Anytime you're up against Huang, you just tell yourself, Huang Zico is absolutely crap.

And I think of the. The downside of Huang's strategy is that he's putting the relics here. So because he's gone for an economic game and he's added farms and he's like doing a really good job there.

It's not your typical Huang game where he's pushing,

by the way. I don't know if you spotted this. That house is full HP and on fire.

Literally broke it. This game is broken. That bothers me a lot. Anyways. It also bothers me. My mouse is bugged, so my zoom's a little bit weird.

But don't worry, I got a new mouse, so that means next couple videos this shouldn't happen. But all right, so Huang sees the castle now and he's like, well, crap.

Now I'm being castle rushed. Maybe I should go home with the relics. Right? You guys are probably thinking, go home with the relics.

Huang win the late game. Nope. I'm gonna build another church in your face. So it picks up one of the relics, just walks it over here.

He's got to get the other relics out of there before the castle goes up. Otherwise that could be a gift to the enemy.

Very hard to control where those relics go to.

But you know he's gonna bring a ram over because he's out of the siege workshop. There's one relic, don't mind if I do.

And he's just gonna shift it over to the side. Meanwhile, Red sees the church, Red sees the ram, Red's gonna complete chemistry and this is not a bad spot for red.

He's got two TCs

and now his plan is probably to go hand cannons. Hand cannons is an awesome move. Hand cannon is an imp unit.

Only the bohemians can get chemistry and castle age and I think it's a good situation to use it.

So anytime your opponent has a ram like this, adding a mangonel behind walls is perfect because they come in to ram your walls and then you could just take down the ram.

But yeah, like Huang just relocates the relics. He's still got two over here, so for now he's got six.

And

he really isn't pushing all that much just yet. It's been relatively relaxed.

He has some economy back here and a lot of times what he'll do and you don't really know what's coming.

But it's either full push, full army or it's rushing to imp with a forward castle. But imperial age, full army, they kind of go against each other.

Wong able to pick up his final relics which is just so funny looking. And now he's got his six relics inside of his church.

Okay, so Huang sees the gold, he sees the mangonel defense, he understands what's happening here. Both players are going to end up micring.

Raze has the villager lead good micro from both so far Megan L. Gets a little too close and it's a, it's a one for one trade.

So I think Raze is a little, still a little concerned. He's not ready for the hand cannons yet. He's built the barracks, he's building the archery range.

So his plan is to play guard tower defense. That way the mangonels can't range his gold. Now I'm not in love with this tower location.

Maybe though that, well that, no, the church shouldn't be able to ranges but I'm not in love with this tower location.

The idea to get guard tower is really good though

and, but you know he's gonna have to push this back eventually. The plan here really is just lots of gunpowder because all Huang has.

All he tends to make is the warrior priests. But yeah, like what Huang's doing here

is very opposite of what I would do. I would see this tower and I would think oh, he's going to go guard university and tower.

He's going to go guard tower. We can't go manganel push anymore.

But Huang just looks at it and says like well yeah, I can take down the tower. I'm just going to need more magadels.

So he's. He's producing a lot.

He's taking down this area of the wall.

He wants to drop his own castle.

He doesn't know that there's going to be hand cannons. But the archer ranges are coming up from raise.

Ray still has the villager elite because he's two TCs res collected. It's close.

Raise has. Has the tower now. Chemistry is helping but he doesn't have fletching and he's getting guard tower now.

Guard tower when you really need it. It's. It's pretty expensive. And so it took him a little bit of time and unfortunately the university goes down.

So that this is where the panic starts to set in because now he's like oh crap. So now you've got to make another university.

Huang has a million and one warrior priest queued up and he's going to also make a siege tower which I think the devs will eventually nerf.

Some tournaments have banned it. My event Titans League we actually made a change where you can only put 5.5units inside of the tower and it's less HP.

We did it through the map scripts actually just to nerf it and not ban it because I. I do like the fact that it's a play.

But it. This thing can speed around really fast once you're filled with infantry.

Yeah. And Huang's just got a lot now, now little detail here. I credit Phosphoru for finding this. But he.

I. I'm assuming is intentionally blocking the projectile with the siege tower. So he. He tries to sit.

You see how it. Tank damage there? That's what he was doing is tanking the damage with the siege tower, which is a pretty niche thing.

You can do it with a couple of different things in the game you can actually do with mule carts, weirdly enough.

But yeah, Wong's pushing. Wong's repairing. The gunpowder is out though. And so even if this tower goes down, there's full hand cannon back here which could still Be good against mangonels, but it is non stop.

Pressure in your face. Siege towers tanking. A shot there from the mangonel. Guard tower upgrade does complete, but the tower is almost down.

And raise is like, you've got to be kidding me. How is this working? And we have a castle from Huang which is absolutely unreal.

Only Wong places that crap. That's insane.

But he just knows how to send it and that's what makes him so fun to watch. That's what makes them so terrifying to play against.

Another mangonel is coming out from Raze. He's looping the hand cannons around. There is a lot to take in right now.

This is extremely chaotic. Mangonel hops out. He takes one from Huang. He's got the hand cannons here.

Huang's castle could get denied. He doesn't have a lot of army. His siege tower is actually going to go down, meaning all the warrior priests are exposed.

So Huang's gonna back away.

In the end, Huang is committed enough to this and he will complete his castle, which puts raise under a lot of pressure.

Raises will have to shift off of his gold.

It is now castle v castle. And Huang is not going to stop. He's got more rams in Q. He's got more siege towers in Q.

And I. I played against this. He will use the fact he's warrior priest heal a lot. So he'll stop, he'll heal up and then he gets back in.

So he's really using every aspect of the sieve

and he wants to push in. You have two options. Option one is you go imp. Option two is you go full army.

And Huang's food eco has since disappeared. He's adding a couple farms. But

it's just unreal the level of constant pressure you are under when you play against him. And with this particular strat, he gets the relic so fast.

He. You can't just tell yourself you have the better economy, right?

Because having six relics makes up for a lot of the weak economy. Now. I love this for raise. I think when you're up against a heavy pressure like this, you need to escape.

So he's escaping, but Huang is here already and he rolls in with the siege tower. He can get back into siege tower.

So the weakness of going underneath town centers and underneath castles is just does not exist with the siege tower as is and more siege towers are around.

Raze is going to build his own castle now. Because Raze is like, I can't let this happen. The rams are coming in.

Wong is down 20 bills, but he's just slowly creeping in with castles.

And the rams are gonna go take the TC down.

He hops in and out of the siege tower. The siege tower looks like it's invincible at the moment. And the rams can continue on against the castle as well.

I'd like raised, made mangonels. Raised, made walls. Raised made two castles now. But Huang is still able to push at the siege tower.

Still enough of a threat, unfortunately. It just takes so long to take this thing down. But yeah, in terms of the balance of it, I want this to be a strat that's viable.

If there's going to be a nerve, I just wanted to see be a little bit weaker, you know. It definitely has made the.

The warrior priest more of an option. Raze is running around. He's going to drop a town center here so he can get some stone.

He did have this gold, but even that's kind of in a worrisome position now.

And Huang is just sending in more rams and more siege towers. And he sits here and he just repairs his rams like he's got.

He's got a fourth of his economy here. Can we appreciate that? He's got 44 VILs. I know the math isn't perfect.

He's got eight here. Someone in the YouTube comments could tell me exactly what that is. But that's a high percentage of his eco

and people don't pay attention to those details. Now watch this. He'll do it during the fights as well at times.

Don't have this full game memorized. That ram is pushing the mango now. Okay, that goes down. That's awkward.

Here we have another castle. I mean, raises has to back away. And Huang just keeps tossing away units to.

To castle his base. He's castling where raise started with his town center.

Yeah. So in this case, he's gonna lose. Well, who knows if the villager will die, but the warrior priest is probably gonna die.

Raise is now gonna run. The rams are just freaking everywhere, man. The rams are taking down the archer range.

Raise still has the villager lead, but his base is being raised, but not in the way that he would have wanted.

We've got eight rams for Huang. Armenians do not have any ram bonuses.

I guess they do have the wood and the gold mining upgrades that he got earlier from with the mule carts, but

yep, it just doesn't stop.

So this particular game, not just the church rush, really,

but it's just. You use the church, you. You pick up the relics. You pressure with the rams. Now he's Actually making a couple composite bowman because it does feel like going continuous infantry against this is going to be a problem.

But poor race. I mean he still has good economy. He still has collected about the same amount of resources.

He's actually going imp,

which could be huge because if he makes it to imp, he can make cannons to take down the triple castles in his walls.

And Huang doesn't know about these villagers. Wong doesn't know. I mean ideally you'd have some gold there, but Huang doesn't know about those vills at all.

One of the best things you can do against Huang is don't be where he expects you to be. Sneak away, expand.

The MTC is out here. So raise thought about this.

These town centers are probably not long for this world. If Wong got ballistics for his composite bowman, it's not the best range unit in the world, but it is a really cheap range unit option that you can mix in here with the rams.

Rams soak up a lot of that hand cannon damage. And here we go. Choo choo, we got rams. I'm sure some are going to die, but you don't know what's inside.

Is it going to be a villager? Is it going to be a warrior priest? Take your guess folks, step right up.

Wong is

in there healing himself. And Huang is just massacring Ray's zico. Down go the villagers. Here goes Huang's scout just to say hello.

And Huang forces raised to tap out. I mean that was ridiculous. The entire freaking game which is pressure, pressure, pressure, pressure, pressure and it's tough to stop now.

I've seen longer games, I've seen better games for Huang.

I've seen more competitive games from the opponent as well. So I'm, I'm going to give you more. There's going to be a lot of Huang Armenian content, wins, losses, the usual.

But he's, he's playing insane. And some people call him the latter terrorist because like he doesn't really play tournaments these days.

He just shows up, he freaking spams games and he's really, really annoying to play against. I mean I think I would play this very similarly to Red if I were up against it.

I have played Huang by the way. Last time we played I won one and he won one. But

like I, I think the castle idea was, was actually really good.

The more I think about it though, the more I would want the castles to be in a position that range more surface area.

I'm going to eventually bring a game I played against this. Like this is a castle you place. If you're expecting like you want to defend this area and you want to take the relics, right.

But Huang's just going to move the relics so it's kind of tricky. But I think you also have to cover an area for a future church.

So what about a castle right here? You place the castle there, you eventually shoot this church down.

You then cut off this area and then you cut off like any building space over there. I just. You kind of have to shift your thinking a little bit now.

He might have expected a siege push or something. You just don't know. But yeah, the defensive castle is still good.

I think the idea of going guard tower is also really good. I think maybe that's where the game fell apart for him a little bit.

I would have liked to see him reverse the order. He got chemistry super early and chemistry is 300 food and 200 gold.

I think if you just get guard tower and fletching and bod can arrow with some mangoes then you can get chemistry later.

The thing about Huang though is he's going to base this on what he sees. So Huang, if he senses that, you know it's.

It's guard tower defense and he can't actually push it, he's going to drop the castle back here, he's going to sell the farm and he's going to go up to the imperial age to trap you down.

So you're damned if you do, damned if you don't want Juan. But I wanted to show this to you. I mean that we're barely at the 20 minute mark in the recording and like he freaking massacred his opponents.

And Bohemians are easily one of the top sims in the game. It's just so fast. So anyways, it's impressive

but like I said guys, lots, lots of content to come. Lots of Titans League coming. Been working very hard for the

for. For Platinum, gold and silver. Apologies. As I said in the intro. Have some family stuff. I know that you guys want more Unk content.

You just look at the relic golds and you have to feel like that makes such a big difference. So I think stopping Huang from getting the relics wins raise the game.

Huang had half of his gold income from that. He did not have a good economy to compete otherwise. He didn't even take really good fights.

But I mean, the raises were crazy. Here's a fun stat, bottom left. He. He destroyed 18k value with the rams and, well, other things.

Right. But that value destroyed stat is such an interesting one when you play, when you're talking about a player like Huang, because their economy is normally crap, but they kill your units and your building so quickly.

So yeah, it's a crazy strategy. And I still maintain. Again, just like the siege towers. I'm not trying to get this thing nerfed to the ground, but this is 200 wood.

You could build a healing relic. Melee picker upper. Dude, in the warrior priest, you have really good monks.

You get a free relic. It's got crazy armor stats. Like, crazy armor stats and damage output. I think it does as much damage against buildings as.

As like a castle does or something. So there's just a lot of bonuses caked into this fortified church.

I think the devs will eventually adjust it to some degree. But until then, Huang is just gonna keep church dropping people and destroy people with it.
