that older tile over here I love this I
mean this this is exactly exactly the
kind of stuff that house hack is going
to buy all the time the stuff where you
got to rip everything out you walk in
you don't have any flooring left this is
how you add value right here this is
easy uh this is so great I love this
kind of stuff uh oh yeah look at this
we've got our um so this was all carpet
so I can imagine the carpet probably Rak
when you went in here you could tell
with the tack strip over here you've
also got some Mill doing moisture damage
on the tack strip right here so it was
probably you know a nice juicy smelling
carpet too uh pump on over into the
kitchen over here Jack check out the
kitchen you've uh this was this would
have been your classic hoarder home
where in order to just get rid of the
trash your pulling cabin your polling
doors uh these cabinets or the they're
actually not that bad of a cabinet
they're my usual kind of cabinet not
that bad a condition and that's what you
want you want a property that just
cosmetically has a bunch of crap
everywhere uh and uh this this is an
example of that I'll tell you every
hoarder house I've ever been in they
always have new boxes of stuff they
don't get rid of boxes of stuff which is
just I don't know sometimes you actually
find brand new stuff still in it you
know the lenium over here uh this is uh
this is what do you want to look for I
mean no home buyer is going to buy this
stuff I mean it's nasty right and
certainly you're not going to buy it
before it's it's had all its stuff
removed like this actually already looks
pretty decent uh because they've worked
so hard on already removing some of this
stuff see I don't think we have light
over here it's just a garage doesn't
matter but uh yeah this this is the kind
of thing you look for now I do notice
you've got uh bars on the windows and
the slider on the back so uh you can
evaluate if the neighborhood has already
uh uh transitioned to a positive or or
if it's still one that is calling for uh
bars you do have the six panel doors
this property wouldn't have been built
with the six panel doors I don't believe
this is probably an 80s property sorry
you have to stick your finger yeah to
open it exactly stick your finger in
there uh is this where the body
is you already got got rid of that one
yeah okay yeah I mean this is this is
your classic uh oh and these are your
guys's uh shovels um yeah this is pretty
pretty typical um but again this is the
kind of stuff that's great you got the
acoustic ceiling a quick uh scrape of
the acoustic uh and obviously new
flooring new paint new hardware on the
doors but just because the home looks so
filled with objects doesn't make it a
bad home you get this very common as
well see this is when um supposed to
when you close a door you grab the hard
we but most people don't they kind of
use it as a support and you know they
shake it shut and then it it creates
this kind of grime and you get that as
you kind of like walk through the
wholeway right you get that sort of
grime in the walls easy home buyers hate
it investors Pros love it hey by the way

now you've got a little Foundation crack
here it's it's getting to where you'd
probably have to seal this what's up bro
it's a rubber duck you're right so you
probably want to seal this it's been
sealed once before you can see the
sealant has actually already SE
separated so I don't know if they just
used a por sealant or it's just been a
long time and it's shifted again uh
usually you'd want some kind of flexible
sealant that will move with the crack
over time so it doesn't happen
again but uh yeah very uh very typical
evaluate I mean this is this is it's
nothing scary this is of of the age here
pretty
typical St pained Windows getting to the
end of its life looks like it's lost its
seal you can honestly just leave the
cedar plank and paint it uh over here
you know people see the uh the holes on
the I'll turn the light on here people
see the holes on the walls or whatever
this is actually from uh when you have
mirrors up on the wall This Is How They
come off they just tear holes in the
wall because there's so much going on
here but yeah look at this tub this tub
has not been in in a very long time
people just they just stored stuff in
here probably paint and enamels and
stuff whatever they wanted to keep they
just threw it in there as storage yeah
it's pretty typical but this is this is
where you can really create add
value all right quick peek over here so
here's your master your classic uh
wallpaper here this yellowing of the
wallpaper I mean I don't smell like it's
a smoker home it's just age it's really
just age oh my God yeah yeah the
shattered glass right here uh that's
unfortunate but uh yeah this is the
stuff you get again a home buyer doesn't
want this but uh Kevin does and this
this is what the carpet would have
looked like throughout the property I'm
convinced it would have been just like
this because remember where we saw that
Mill do uh and when you walk into a
place with carpet like this it reeks
it's nasty nobody wants it uh but I do
and and and that's because if I could
buy uh 200 homes in this condition first
of all it's not livable remember that
you know people ask about like house
hack they're like oh you know you're are
you going to be taking away Supply from
home buyers no home buyer is buying this
this needs to be be introduced to the
rental stock after it's been remodeled
by a professional and professionals get
paid for doing that so if you can make a
$100,000 in equity on on every one of
these let's say 100 Properties or 200
properties that's $10 million that's 20
million million dollars in cash in
potential cash
flow uh and and that's what we're doing
with house Haack or we'll be doing with
house hack so uh obviously there's some
some tricks on how to get the equity out
while lowering your your your costs
but uh the stuff like this all day every
day easy easy mode uh pretty nasty
closet over here the toilet's been
taking out it's important that when
you're demoing you put a rag where the
toilet was as you can see there was
carpet in the toilet as well just
because what will happen is some of the
debris will fall in the sewer and then
it'll clog and cause you problems so
usually we like to plug those but that's
that's you know this is very early in
the demo stage so that'll come and you
get the gases that come up as well so
yeah very cool we'll take a quick look
at the backyard and get out of
here uh oh look there's a little like

have another 10 years on it especially
if you seal around the protrusions but
uh but it's certainly not new roof
